Nice, clean and just a very short walk to the beach. If you dont like the beach there is a pool just outside the unit. Overall very happy with the unit and our stay. Highly recommend.

Location was perfect with 2 restaurants, a general store, golf and the beach all within walking distance. Accommodations clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful on several occasions. Excellent stay at The Village at Palmetto Dunes. We will be staying here again

This review is for this year only. Past years have been good. We have 5 condos but when we arrived at 4:30pm, 3 of them were not ready. Its 5:30pm right now and still no explanation from the office.

Nice location, but the room was antiquated. They need to invest on updating the kitchen and bathroom. The pool is small. And there was a cockroach that fell onto my friends head while she was sleeping. RCI should intercede to have this resort come up to par. This place should really be 2 stars, but gave it 3 due to location.

It is a little dated, but it is nice. It is peaceful, and in a great location. Pool is great.

As a guest of a unit owner, it seems well kept. Studio unit is small, but adaquate for us (2 adults & 1 teen).

Great place to stay at mid island! Easy walk to the beach and convenient to so many shops and restaurants. Love vacationing there!

The townhouse was great! The pool was nice. Access to the beach was good. The general store was outrageously overpriced! But it was a little rich and stuffy for us! Nothing to do at night. It was like a ghost town after dark! Overall we had a great time!

We have a timeshare here for a week. It is a good location to easily travel to any place on the island. Shopping center and restaurants are nearby. Beach is in walking distance and lots of places to ride bikes. Our unit was cleaned and ready for us. Maintenance staff quick to respond if needed.

Stayed in a very nice rental unit. Clean and well equiped. Convenient to everything.

Really cute little cottages!

The room was small with too much furniture. When we had the pull out couch open it was hard to walk into the kitchen. The bathroom was also really small. There is a full kitchen with pots and pans, plates and silverware which is very nice. One of the drawers was broken which made opening it difficult. The beach is only a few minute walk away and the property has a pool and a play ground. There are also gas grills that can be used to cook on, two of which are at the playground.

We are owners here and its a great resort with pool, private beach access, tennis, golf, restaurants, and of course, the famous General Store! We come here every year and we love it! Our townhouse sleeps 8 and we have lots of room for activities.

Magnificent. Workers are as nice as can be. Jan in office is GREAT!!. A pleasant surprise, better than expected. Perfect location for short walk to beach. Easy bike ride or walk to Shelter Cove.

Ive been coming here since I was a kid! Love the family friendly atmosphere. They take great care of the timeshares. Easy walking distance to the beach makes it a plus!

Great location on Hilton head. Close to great golf, great restaurants, beautiful homes and beaches. Place I stayed was a little dated.

I am an owner at the Village at Palmetto Dunes. I absolutely love the cozy cottage feel and atmosphere. The Pool Area and hot tub area is very nice. I wish for the pricey maintenance fees I pay yearly that the mattress and chairs in living area were more comfortable. Its very clean and welcoming here. We have a 2 bedroom 2 bath with soaring ceilings and unbeatable views. My only MAJOR COMPLAINT is the horrible cable tv. It has a scrolling guide that takes forever and an awful quality picture. I rented a DVD and the wall mounted flat screen had an excellent picture. Please change cable service and/or offer NETFLIX. My stay was wonderful unil night time came and this mind numbing cable was what we had for entertainment. Thanks E H

The description of the studio units is totally inaccurate and the representatives described these inits as spacious when I phoned prior to mu arrival. Thry are very small and at best only appropriate for a single person. It is truly a misrepresentation and I would advise anyone considering this resort to choose another resort when planning a vacation to Hilton Head island.

Close to beach, golf, general store, which is a short walk for awesome breakfast sandwiches and coffee for times you dont want to take time for a restaurant breakfast or lunch.

Didnt stay here but worked removing downed trees with a crane and tree service company after the Oct.2016 Hurricane hit the eastern coast line. It is a very nice complex with a store/souvenir shop, swimming pool, well kept condos.I would definitely come back for vacation in the future!

Weve been going to the Village for more than 22 years. You cant beat the location the facilities are nice, beach is close by staff very nice!

Great Place Very Clean and Enjoyable Location

Beautiful location but needs a lot of remodeling. The bed was horrible for anyone with a bad back.

The Village is a good place for the money. Close to all activities on Hilton Head Island.

The landscaping maintenance crew at The Village routinely blows grass clippings into the adjacent lagoon, which is detrimental to the water quality and fish. They also recently put a herbicide on the grass along the edge of the lagoon, which killed the grass and also allowed these harsh chemicals to seep into the water. They seem to be enemies of the environment!

Dated but clean, amenities are good, service ice is well done.
