We vacationed at Ruddy Turnstone 22 it was a beautiful house with pool and walk to beach. The house is just gorgeous and kitchen has everything you would have in your own kitchen (even a rolling pin!). We love staying within Sea Pines - love the safety of the bike paths, Harbor Town, Salty Dog and visiting the farm. Beaches are clean and always something fun going on at the beach club. The homes with Destination Vacation are clean, the kitchens are stocked and decorated to make you feel at home. Highly recommend them.

Destination Vacation communicates very well, and quickly replies to any inquiries. It’s always nice to check into their clean, organized houses, and be greeted with adequate supplies for the week.

Our extended family has rented through Destination Vacation on HHI for as long as I can remember, almost every year. We have always had a super positive experience with them. Rental homes are clean, beautiful, exactly as pictured and promised. There have rarely ever been issues in the decades weve rented there, but whenever there were, no matter how minor, it was taken care of quickly and effectively! We love Destination Vacation and recommend them enthusiastically!

We vacationed at Wagon Road 51. The entire process was so easy from start to finish. The house was beautiful and so clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was clean and spa heated up quick! The groundskeepers were there a few times a week without us hardly noticing. The beach was a 8 minute bike ride. I would highly recommend this home for your vacation!

We vacationed at 7 Whistling Swan—a gorgeous house close to the beach with a great pool and our kids loved the TV on the screened porch. Ha! We love that DVHHI does such a great job with their properties—from receiving our paperwork well ahead of arrival, to the house being clean and stocked with toiletries and beds made—we love how easy it is to vacation with DVHHI.

We vacationed at Sea Oak Lane 06. From the reservation process to the completion of our stay, Destination Vacation made our trip one of the best vacations yet on Hilton Head! The staff was very helpful when having to change our schedule due to the pandemic and made rescheduling very easy! Even though we’ve stayed in this particular house many times in years past, this is the first year we’ve dealt with Destination Vacation as the booking agency and we couldn’t be more pleased with their customer service. We’ve already rebooked for next year and can’t wait to return! Thank you for a great week in paradise!

We stayed in one of their condos in May of ‘21 for a week. After our stay I filled out their survey they emailed to me giving details of the good and bad of our stay. My review was fair and accurate. They never posted my review to the page of the condo on their site. This tells me they filter reviews and don’t post the ones that are below stellar. How can you trust renting from them knowing they don’t post every review to allow renters to make an informed choice. Nobody reached out to us during our stay or after review was submitted. To me, this indicates a lack of customer service and they will not earn our repeat business.

We stayed at 25 Green Heron in Sea Pines in late Sept; 2020. The property, on-the-ocean location and amenities couldnt have been nicer, including: Large pool, private beach access, ample bike paths, close proximity to multiple eating/shopping areas. Highly recommend this rental property.

We vacationed at Cedar Waxwing 19. We have been vacationing annually on Hilton Head since 1984, staying in oceanfront homes in Sea Pines for the past several years. As our family has grown, we’ve needed more space. We chose 19 Cedar Waxwing primarily due to its oceanfront location and its numerous bedrooms. The online pictures were impressive, but they did not adequately prepare us for just how beautiful this home is. It looks, feels and smells brand new. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, outfitted with high quality appliances, cookware, knives and tools. The refrigerator is big enough for our family of eleven and the many dietary needs of those ranging from one year olds up to 60-somethings. The beverage center simplified coffee in the morning and afternoon/evening libations. The sound system kept us dancing whether at the pool, playing ping pong, cooking dinner, or showering after beach time. The pool is lovely and the shallow pad perfect for small children. The seemingly new beach chairs and bike rack in the garage were added bonuses. I could go on and on. The location is fantastic; the beach is practically private and it’s a lovely bike ride to anywhere in Sea Pines. We had a few minor maintenance issues that were all addressed within a few short hours of being reported. 19 Cedar Waxwing is by far the best beach house we’ve ever rented, and Destination Vacation made our stay even more pleasant from start to finish, providing info before and during our stay and cheerfully taking care of everything we needed.

We vacationed at 1 Cartgate. Destination Vacation Staff were wonderful to work with, especially during this difficult time of uncertainty. They were grand on accommodating us with rescheduling our reservations and we appreciate all of them working with us during the complete process. Our first stay at Cartgate 01 and it was a pleasure vacationing there. The home was beautifully designed and comfortably furnished. Mentioning comfort, the mattress was extremely nice, firm... never woke up with back aches. A plus for elderly couple. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed for dining in. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans,cooking utensils..etc. We especially enjoyed the large screened in porch over looking the outside pool with relaxing hot tub. Perfect for cool mornings and evenings. The beach was a short 5 minute walk from the home. Lovely surroundings...quite neighborhood. We loved the open space and layout of this home. Each bedroom has their own private bathroom with walk in shower. Such a wonderful place to stay. Would love to live there. Much apprecation and thanks to the owners and Destination Vacation for this well appointed home. So looking forward to a return visit

We vacationed at Lighthouse Lane 35. Destination Vacations was extremely easy to work with. Communication was prompt and direct. 35 Lighthouse Ln has amazing views of the 18th hole and Sound. The Master bed was comfortable and the Master bath spacious. Kitchen was well equipped with all necessary items. We stayed at 35 Lighthouse Ln over 4 years ago. We appreciated the addition of the Gas Grill on the patio. The cleaning service did an excellent job. The house was spotless.

We vacationed at Turtle Lane Club 01. We LOVE staying at Turtle Lane. This is our 2nd year in this unit and it was great again. My only comments are that one morning the workers begin at 7:00 am right outside our window with hedge trimming and mowing. I wish that could be delayed some but I understand it gets hot if they start too late in the day.

Great experience with this rental company. I will book with them again in the future.

We vacationed at Lands End Court 06. We really like this town house condo. The décor,use of space and new well stocked kitchen was very nice. Would highly recommend they replace the mattress in the front upstairs bedroom that has the 2 twin headboards. Mattresses very boggy and only countable place I could find was in the middle. Also the vent in that left corner blows directly on to the bed and would recommend a different directional ceiling register. But we liked the condo, loved the deck and will consider renting again. Liked that each bedroom had a TV & en suite bathroom.

We vacationed at Dune Lane 037. From start to finish Destination Vacations took great care of us and made sure all our needs were met. We have been coming to Hilton Head for our annual mens golf and tennis trip for 12 years and have rented many homes. 37 Dune Lane was a spectacular house from the minute we walked in the front door. The views were a 10 and most everything in the house worked well. I would recommend to add some pots, pans, cleaning equipment and cooking items for the kitchen. Also the freezer would not freeze ice cream. Otherwise everything was perfect and we will be back again next year.

I have been an owner at Beachside Tennis Villas since 1991. The current owner of Destination Vacation has been in the business for that entire time, starting when it was a locally owned company called Worthy Rentals. It now again is a locally owned company that understands the renters, the owners, the rental market, and the maintenance services and advertising to make ownership successful. I have been completely satisfied with their service over the years. Everyone on the staff is friendly and responsive to the owner needs, as well as the renter needs. They all understand the business and what it takes to be successful. I can positively recommend the company to anyone looking to rent out their home or villa, full or part time.

We have used Destination Vacation as our rental management company for more than five years. They have done an excellent job both in generating rentals, and in property management. They are always quick and professional in dealing with any maintenance issues or other needs of our guests. They make owning and operating a rental home care free. We recently purchased a second rental home and partnered with Destination Vacation again. They are a high quality organization and we truly enjoy working with them.

We vacationed at Scaup Court 09. All was great! When we contacted Destination re pool lights, just as an FYI, someone was out the next day. The house is in a great location and size for us. Walked to Salty Dog many a time and the beach twice daily. We really liked: The layout of the house was roomy and we liked that even in a small house there was a separation between the master and the other bedrooms. What is really awesome are the patios off the bedrooms! Privacy and other outside venues to use! The pool being enclosed (a short stucco wall) was a real plus. We have always wondered why Hilton Head does not require a fence around a pool for safety reasons! The amenities were fine (another serving bowl and a better broom would be good). Being pet friendly is the best! We truly appreciate these owners opening up their home to those who want to bring their pets. Our dogs felt right at home - no accidents and they were able to join us by the pool. The cleaning crew, which we did not know we would have (nice touch, but unnecessary) cleaned the grill! We were so surprised as we had made wings!All in all a great visit - we do want to rent this same home again, perhaps 4 weeks. Thanks again - we truly enjoyed our visit. We love Hilton Head!

Destination Vacation has an impressive inventory of quality homes and even better customer service. I live on Hilton Head but my extended family is from Indiana and I have been booking them in homes for Spring Break for the past 5 years. The 3 experiences with Destination Vacation far exceed the 2 years we booked through other companies. Just a well-run organization with friendly and attentive staff.

We vacationed at Seaside Sparrow 15. We loved the house period! The speakers throughout the house and outside were awesome! Decor was beautiful. The downstairs porch was put to great use! Lizard lounge was also great, good place to get lost in a book and hide from the kids 🤣! The womens clothing still in an unlocked closet in the upstairs master was a bit disturbing...I kept looking for her all week but she never showed her face😂. The refrigerator space is awesome even the hidden one in the butlers pantry...made to look like an ordinary drawer! I would add a couple of crockpots to the kitchen with a warm low and high settings... always nice to throw something in to make dinner preps easy at night...I was glad I brought mine from past experiences of not having none. Two dishwashers was HEAVEN!

If there were a rating above excellent, Destination Vacation would have it - they are Superior. They know their business, they understand customer relationships, they have the contacts and the reach to get done what needs to get done. More importantly, they have that can do attitude that gives you the confidence that things will not only get done on time, but get done right. Whether you are an owner or a customer you will not find a better agency on or off the islandThey have 24/7 coverage - and its not just some answering service - its a Destination Vacation employee. Ive never had them ask me to handle something because they were too busy (and my other agency has done exactly that - and no, they wont be my other agency for long). They do whats right for the customer, and for the owner.They understand the dynamics of their market, the market pricing, and the myriad rental issues that can come up and extremely work hard to give people a great Hilton Head Experience. They act as concierge to their guests, provide an unflagging source of information and again - fantastic attitude...attitude will make or break a company and these guys have it made. You will not find a better rental agency that Destination Vacation.

They have managed our beach oriented home in Sea Pines for over 6 years after we had cycled through several other management companies on Hilton Head..First they have excellent management through their hands on owner Lori who maintains an excellent tenured staff...caring, consistent, and careful about detail and high housekeeping & maintenance standards.They also have terrific business strategy and have consistently increased our rentals year over year...unlike other companies which started out strong and then neglected bookings for existing homeowners over time. They also are a pleasure to deal with and have cultivated a base of returning customers who value their high standards, well maintained properties, and pleasant staff. You will be fortunate if they are willing to accept your home in their program.

Iron Clad 7 was excellent for our family. Destination was great and communications was timely.

We selected Destination Vacation for our rental company when we first acquired our house in Sea Pines four years ago. I interviewed several companies before selecting Destination to represent us and manage our property. I have not second-guessed our decision for one minute.We live out of town and try to get down to the island 5 or 6 times during the off season to check on the property, enjoy the island, and take care of any minor problems that require our attention. Since Destination Vacation takes such good care of our home, there is little for us to do.The office staff is always very friendly and helpful as well as having the best Rolodex on the island for every service provider. I have come to rely on Destination Vacation and cannot imagine owning property on the island without them.

Before we bought our home in Sea Pines, we rented houses through Destination Vacation for several years. The properties they managed were always beautiful and meticulously maintained. Because of that experience, when we decided that we would place our house on the rental market, we didn’t even consider other management companies. We knew what to expect, and we have never been disappointed. Everyone on the staff seems to have an intimate knowledge of the house and is able to use that knowledge to represent it to potential guests. In addition, they know our own our preferences and expectations as owners, and promptly and thoroughly address every question or concern. I always thank them profusely for their thoughtfulness and attention to my (admittedly) high-maintenance questions and requests, but the reply I get every time is the same: “You are welcome. That’s what we are here for.” We could not be more pleased, or feel more fortunate, about our association with Destination Vacation.

Not sure what the low ratings are about, we have NEVER had an issue with DVHHI, Gail or her staff they ALWAYS went beyond to help us have a wonderful vacation. Her staff are always responsive and professional. DVHHI have a great support staff for all needs such as tech difficulties (came out in 30 mins), spa heat (came out in 1 hr) didnt like coffee maker (delivered a different one in 15 mins at night!! so we would have it for the morning) We have been renting from DVHHI for many many years and we truly have never considered using anyone else.

My family rents several times a year on HH. I was taken aback by how friendly, relaxed and personable EVERY SINGLE person I dealt with at the company was to me. Further the house was stocked well beyond our expectations - each bathroom had ample supplies (for the week!) as well as a generous supply of large sized towels. One night we had a minor plumbing problem but they were all over it and even called to check on us. The kitchen in particular had enough equipment to start a catering company. Linens were very nice. Patio furniture was very nice and plentiful as well. In fact our deck had TWO 4 seat dining table. We had a wonderful stay and will be back.PS - we lost a key. No charge. I left an ipod and some glasses - shipped immediately!!!!

Destination Vacation has managed our property for the past several years and we couldnt be happier. Our summer rentals are always full before the season begins with wonderful renters. DVHHI does an excellent job taking care of your property during the busy season as well as hurricane season, prepping it if necessary. I highly recommend their services. When you rent a home from DVHHI, you will not be disappointed.

The free shuttle service driver failed to yield and almost caused accident. Then his boss called who wasn’t there and yelled at us saying we are idiots. Very unprofessional

We recently stayed at 11 Sandhill Crane in Sea Pines. We have always had wonderful service from Destination Vacation. We were very disappointed with our most recent home. The home listed as a 7 bedroom home. The 7th bedroom is really a small den with a pullout couch and glass French doors, not appropriate for a bedroom. The home does not have enough silverware and the pots and pans did not work very well. Next time I will definitely ask more questions before I rent.

Destination vacation mismanaged our vacation week. They do not abide by their own renting policies!

For 21 years I have had the pleasure of working with the wonderful people at Destination Vacation HHI to provide the best possible vacation experience for guests at my townhouse in Sea Pines while maximizing rental income. Beginning with Worthy Rentals, many at DVHHI learned from the late Ann Worthy and that was excellent training. I know that my guests will be well taken care of.I cant remember ever calling DVHHI and getting a recording. Someone always answers the phone in their friendly and professional manner and helps with whatever I need. I know that I can rely on them.Owning a vacation home is a blessing, but the logistics of long distance maintenance and care can be a challenge. I never worry as long as my good friends (and I do consider them true friends) are there.
