Living here the past year has been fantastic! The way management handled their amenities during the states restrictions was very convenient, their messages to the community are clear and understandable, and their communication with what is happening in the community is never lacking. Their online platform is user-friendly and they have an open discussion board on their website for the community to use for things like missing packages, community updates, and neighborly concerns. While we have not had the time to get to know their employees more personally, the staff is always pleasant and is consistently available. Their response time to service requests or general emails is quick and they show sincerity throughout the case. The landscaping is kept very well and the nearby trails right off the complex make living here convenient for a quick run or walk. Living here at Centro Apartments has made our first year of living in Oregon so enjoyable. The amount of shopping and restaurants located within a 5-minute drive of the complex also makes Centro a suitable location for those that hate running time-consuming errands. Come check this place out!

Great apartment near Rock Creek Trails. The property is maintained clean and the staffs are kind. Ivett helped me with the application and most of the move-in process fast and simple. Enjoying walking along the trails and Tuesday food-truck :)

Everything is wonderful, property, staff, handymen, pool…EXCEPT FOR VALET TRASH! I hate that I pay 25$ a month to maybe have people in a pickup truck appear at random times in the night to drag my trash away. Valet trash is a terribly unreliable service. I feel like it is overpriced and not sanitary. (So many of my neighbors at Centro do not use the provided bin so critters make a mess in the breezeways. It’s also very smelly because no one waits until the evening to put out their trash.) I wish the management would have their own sanitary staff or something… anything but Valet Trash.

One of my favorite things about this place is the staff.Ed, the maintenance guy is one of the nicest and most helpful maintenance guys I have ever met.

There are some good and bad to living at this apartment complex.Pros:- Great Location from shopping and restaurants,- Amenities are nice- The grounds are pretty well kept- Lots of parking- Friendly Staff- Pet Friendly with small dog park- Maintenance person specifically ED is awesome, helpful, and takes care and care for you as a tenantCons:- If you have carpet in your unit like I do and have lived in the apartment for a year the carpet starts to come up and doesnt lay flat. Like it needs to be stretch back out- Trash Service that you pay for in your rental agreement. They dont do there job yet you have to file a complaint with the front office. (how many complaints before they get fired or fined cause tenants get warning then get fined yet there is no repercussions for them not doing their job and something that we are force to pay?? )Over all I have not had an issue living at Centro. The biggest reason I would even re-new my rental agreement for another year is due to Ed still being the maintenance. Ive watch him manage this location even though he isnt even the manager. Man needs a raise!

I moved into this apartment complex almost 14 years ago when it was under different management, and I was skeptical when the management changed several years ago, but the living experience with Sequoia is definitely better! Amanda is a fair and responsive property manager and proactive about keeping residents happy; when my toilet was leaking and couldnt readily be fixed she quickly approved a new toilet to be installed that same day. I must say I am impressed with the leasing staff with a couple of standouts who have helped me when Ive been out of town tending to family matters over extended periods. Initially Tim volunteered to collect my mail and water my plants while I was gone, and now that hes left this property Ivett is my go-to person whom I can trust to check on my apartment and even get the temperature just right for my return given the heat weve been having. Whenever I speak with Ivett on the phone or via email, I never feel rushed and sense a genuine concern for my needs. Not only is she responsive and reliable with my requests, she goes above and beyond; one time she went in the morning to open my windows to let out the heat and in the afternoon to close them and turn on the A/C. The result was that I could sleep after a long day of flying across the country when I landed home and so appreciated that extra touch. In such a large community, the personalized service Ivett provides is unparalleled and appreciate knowing I can count on her to follow through with my specific requests with a positive attitude. Also I want to commend Shad in maintenance for his professionalism and expertise in diagnosing and fixing an issue with my windows which other team members missed.

The property is beautiful and it’s has great amenities such as the resident car wash. Awesome property and staff!

My wife and I recently moved to Centro Apartments and are thoroughly pleased with everything! Ivett made the entire move and overall process very easy and everyone we have interacted with has been great! With a large complex, that speaks volumes!We love our new place!J and J!

Living there was okay but beware of all the extra charges when you move out. Everything was left in pristine condition, ready for move in for the next person but they still charged me almost $500 in move out fees. I washed the windows and cabinets and the walls were clean. It was in better shape then when I moved in during covid but they still claimed they needed to clean it. The friendly office staff from when I first moved no longer worked there and was replaced by a very unhelpful group who claimed they wouldnt charge me all these extra fees if the apartment was left in move in conditions. Worst move out experience I have ever had!

Weve had.a great experience so far at Centro. The property is great and the staff is very helpful and friendly.During our move, we were assisted by Ivett for most of the process. She was diligent, professional and made the process simple and easy.Overall, Centro and their staff have been great.

Lived here for about 3 months and had a terrible experience with the maintenance team manager and complex manager, Amanda. Repeatedly had issues with our appliances and I was told multiple times it was my fault our appliances were faulty. (lines were kinked and had to be physically cut, so it wasn’t my fault). I got sick from mold spores living in this complex and was instructed by medical professionals to evacuate immediately. Upon moving out and speaking to our neighbors, I was informed that they too had an issue with mold in their unit. Management at Centro did not take this issue seriously so if you are immunocompromised, do NOT live here, the risk to your health is not worth the upgraded amenities. We moved to a different sister community by Sequoia and have had no issues. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

My family lived at Centro for the last 4 years and absolutely loved our time there. The staff is kind relatable and accommodating. They have a great community as well. We loved the fun festive seasonal parties for the entire family that they would host. The amenities were also excellent. We also enjoyed the location. Thanks for some great memories. 👍 ❤

The apartments are nice themselves.Issues:- noise. upstairs neighbors are very loud. we can hear tv sounds, kids screaming, furniture being moved, dogs running around, all the time, including daytime, evening, weekends. complex doesnt seem to do much about it.- maintenance is not proactive. A water pipe burst in our building this week and was causing constant noise for the past 5 days. The management did not proactively let us know that they were working on it or that the entire building was facing this issue. They will not give you any updates and often dont pick up the phone.-bugs. Whenever we open the windows, ants, fruit flies, and many bugs will fly in. Even with vinegar traps, there are way too many bugs. The only way to prevent this is to not open windows in the summer.

I am a proud and current tenant here at Centro😊 I knew I wanted to make this my next home the minute I walked in to view an apartment. It took me two years to get here and I absolutely love it! With the help and hard work of Sean (leasing consultant) he made it all possible. I searched high and low at all other surrounding communities in the area, NOTHING compared! I love everything from the staff, the amenities, clean grounds and especially the kind and enthusiastic help of staff and maintenance. The aesthetics of the upgraded apartments are amazing! I couldn’t have asked for more. My apartment is absolutely beautiful and I feel safe and welcome here. I am happy to call Centro home.

We’ve been living at Centro for a few months and we love it! Every member of the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, they tackle every problem quickly and diligently. The amenities here like the dog park, community garden, and weekly food trucks make Centro a great place to come home to.

My wife and I have been renting here for about six months. There were some unknown issues that we noticed shortly after moving in. The management team was very quick to respond and get the repairs done promptly.Jeff on the maintenance team is great. He is always friendly and ensures that all work is complete. I have nothing but good things to say about the entire Centro team.

Beautiful Remodel. Prices are a little high for the area but you are getting the space and character of an older property with the interior finishes and amenities of a new property. Noteworthy: high end coffee/espresso machine in club room and units have large patios

I have lived here for two years now and I cant say enough about the property. Its clean and dog friendly. It looks great, great location adjacent to a couple great trails. Great gym and pool to boot.What really keeps me here and feeling like home is the staff! From the managers to the maintenance crew, they are always helpful and expeditious..... Plus their just good folks. Kind and friendly which is a little lacking in other areas of this world

I have yet to move in, but will be this coming week. Through this process, I have dealt with a handful of office personnel, but the two that stand out are Tim & Sean. They are naturals when it comes to customer service. I have felt very comfortable and welcome there, specifically because of Tim & Sean. Sean helped me more in the beginning: giving me the keys to see the apartment, 3 times I believe, as this is an out of state move for me, based on nothing but intuition & not necessity. He enthusiastically listened to me when I explained my unique situation, as though he cared. He answered a ton of questions, gave me a pen and let me use a tape measure when I asked for one. When I brought my deposit check by, I showed him photos of the bathtub, because it was dingy and old looking. I asked for the grout to be redone and then showed him the dingy faucet/knob. Immediately he said, Oh, we will just replace the whole thing! Just like that. I was extremely impressed. That same day, one of the maintenance guys was there too, I didnt catch his name, but based off of his presence, I assume he is one of the head guys in that department. He also seemed happy to be there, and eager to please. I have my go to maintenance guy at my current complex here in California, so it was comforting to see that there might be good guys in the maintenance department of Centro Apartments. After all, once all said & done, maintenance is whom residents will likely see more than anyone else once living there.Tim & I have been in contact more, since submitting my application/being approved for my new apartment. He has answered all of my questions, in a professional, yet genuinely human approach. I super appreciate this: seeing the person behind the emails. Having that human experience, rather than feeling that I am communicating with a corporate robot.I feel more comfortable with these two, than I do with the staff at the complex that I am currently living at and have been for 3 years.Lastly, my apartment is GORGEOUS! I am P-I-C-K-Y! Again, Im moving based off of intuition, so I was not about to settle on my very specific wants/needs list. I mean, VERY specific. I looked at many beautiful complexes in the greater Portland area, and although, many were beautiful, none checked off every box like this one did. It also added a few boxes that I didnt know I had like, vaulted ceilings (I will be on the 3rd floor) and windows closer to the ground than normal, so many fur babies can look out of them. The floor plan is open, the white sparkly quartz countertops & fireplace are so stunning. The 1 large open kitchen sink is awesome. The kitchen counterspace will be fantastic for my love of cooking. Just so many great things.Im looking forward to this next chapter of mine. Thank you, Tim & Sean for making me feel welcome! Raises for them! 😄

I have been here for over a year now. I am totally satisfied. I have been several apartments and most of them.. the management was so bad. But i really like centro apartment because of the staff (Amanda and Sean) were helping me a lot since i moved hereThey are so kind, professional, response so quickly and try to fix any issues asap. The interior, Parcel service, valet trash pick up, and free coffee(before pandemic) are also great! This area is quiet and nice people around here.I am so proud I found this apartment. :)Highly recommended.

Just moved in here !Apartments have New management company .Looks great here for the 2 bedroom price we are paying at $12$$ .The unit we got was a special price but is not remodeled .

We are only here temporarily (till August), as we sold our home, and are not retiring & moving to Fl.until Aug. to be close to our daughters, but I have to give CENTRO a HUGE thumbs up for residential living. The staff, and all of the workers who keep things running smoothly and answer your call for service promptly if needed ARE PHENOMINALLY CARING AND KIND. I am so grateful and impressed. They even always smile and wave when they are driving about the grounds taking care of business. (I know this because I walk my dog a couple times a day). There is a FOOD TRUCK every Tuesday evening, giving you different choices and opportunities to skip a night of cooking and doing the dishes. The Dog Play Area is awesome. The apartments themselves are very modern and lovely. We are enjoying our time here. Its a place where you feel like even during the dreadful time of Covid shut in ness, people are remembering kindness !

Centro is a great place to live. Ive been living here for litte more than 1 year and Ive enjoyed it. Staff members at leasing office are friendly, helpful and considerate.The floorplans are well thought, spacious & renovated. Also, the community has locker to hold packages as well as a car wash area which are both very convenient amenities. Valet trash is a great service and its definitely worth the extra charges.Maintenance staff is quite efficient and on time for any issues. I would like to recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a smooth living experience.

Absolute pleasure living here, first class all the way. The management is amazing- so professional and positive - the response to maintenance (I had one issue, I called about a window, something was making it hard to open) expected to wait a day or two, someone came 10 minutes later; like I said - amazing! For a complex this big I am so impressed and would recommend to anyone : )

This is the best apartment complex in the neighborhood. Great location with a ton of walking trails near by. They really care about the property and the grounds always look great. Im very happy with my decision to live here! Another note, the office staff and maintenance team is the best! They will go above and beyond to make sure youre taken care of.

I would honestly give it 5 stars if not for the insulation between floors. We were told prior to moving in that we wouldnt hear the upstairs neighbors if they werent purposely trying to be loud. Unfortunately such is not the case. Unless someone walks like a ninja on the floor above you you will be able to hear every step. Be warned if you are a light sleeper!

Centro was a great place to live in every way. The office staff is very responsive and helpful. Service requests were taken care of very fast (often times the same day, otherwise next day). Theyve really nailed down their valet trash system - Ive heard they transitioned shortly before I moved in and had some rough spots, but theyve definitely smoothed it out and I never had any problems, and found it very convenient. The amenities are awesome! There is a pool that is kept clean and pristine, even when its closed during fall/winter, a hot tub and barbecue area, and a gym that we used very frequently - all of these are kept clean all the time. Our rent increased in small reasonable amounts each year, never anything that made me feel taken advantage of. Its a very safe and friendly community as well - all our neighbors seemed very pleasant and friendly. Great location close to the Streets of Tanasbourne shopping and restaurants. I am sad to be moving out of town, otherwise Id stay for a long time.

We made an appointment and the lady on the phone was nice, however the woman who met us on aite was stuck up and rude and unprepared. Other apartments in the area have friendlier staff and better pricing with the same amenities. Also on the phone with the main leasing office I asked about The Courtland but they sent us here without telling us it was Centro.

Centro is a great apartment complex! The staff is so friendly and always go above and beyond. We had a maintenance issue a while back, and maintenance was here the next day fixing our issue. Have never had a bad experience here.

I am thoroughly grateful for the experience of living at Centro over the past year. The office team is exceptionally helpful in every way possible from moving in, to all things while living there and the potential event of moving away. All the employees waved and smiled when theyd see you. I felt very much at home at Centro. It was by far the quietest complex I lived in. All of my neighbors were great and looked out for each other. Parking was always available. The interior of my apartment was smartly updated and quite modern in decor, color and finishes. Centros web portal was easy to setup access too, navigate and use. The complex is very central to stores, freeways and local green spaces. I can definitely recommend Centro to anyone who is looking for a wonderful complex to move too.

We absolutely love the apartment itself and it’s in our favorite area of Tanasbourne. But there are a lot of things about the complex and company that are disappointing. If we could break our lease and go somewhere else we probably would

Ive had a great experience in the few months that Ive been communicating with Centro. They were very helpful in the months prior to move-in. I had a unique situation and they were flexible and communicative and always kind and helpful. I moved in over a month ago and our unit is gorgeous and everything I could have wanted. The amenities are awesome and the location really cant be beat. Ive lived in other apartments in this area (because its central, quiet, safe, and quick access to Portland), and this is the nicest one so far on many levels. Love the management too (which isnt something Ive ever been able to say about an apartment community that Ive lived in)!

We lived at Centro for two years and overall, it was a good experience. We rarely heard our neighbors, parking was never an issue (even when we had people over), Valet Waste was convenient, amenities (such as pool and gym were super nice). We were in the lower tier apartment and it was slightly run-down in terms of appliances. Maintenance was timely, but we had them come out three seperate times to fix our toilet, and by the end, we just had a workaround. Complex was very clean, but that also comes with reminders of Valet Waste and Lease agreements (patios a certain way, no door decorations unless Christmas/Halloween, picking up dog poop, trash out during set days - no trash Fridays and Saturdays, I feel like almost should do every other day). There is an overloaded electrical circuit issue (i.e. you cant have an AC or Christmas Tree plugged in and on in the living room and the microwave on. If so, the breaker will flip). Office staff is very nice and so was the maintenance crew. Id recommend, but Id almost go for a higher tier apartment, as the appliances may be better quality.

I have lived in the Centro apartment for some time and I love them very much. Their apartments are very good and well maintained. The staff at the leasing office are very cordial and helpful. They take care of any maintenance issue on the same day from Mon-Sat. For emergency issues they have maintenance on Sunday also.They have amazing amenities and the best two things are FREE HUGE hall for any events and Grill with gas(fuel).I highly recommend Centro apartments to anyone looking to rent.

Clean and pet-friendly apartment complex next to the Rock Creek Trail. I rented a 1-bed apartment for 2 years here and have no complaints. Just make sure to have the parking permit inside your car during the nights to avoid towing and fines. About 7 mins away from RA4, Intel Corp. Highly recommended.

Been living here for two years and this place rocks! Sean, and everyone at the front office, are always super nice and informative. And the maintenance staff is awesome too! I dont know her name still, but we exchange smiles a lot. Shes always busy keeping this community clean! I constantly see her picking up dog poop if a resident failed at it, keeping the dust and cobwebs clean from the doorways, cleaning out the recycling bin after residents have failed to properly breakdown their waste, and more. Shes hardworking and ALWAYS with a friendly smile on her face. Makes it really pleasant around here. And Eddie! Cant say enough awesomeness about our main maintenance friend, Eddie. If youre lucky enough to meet Eddie, you will not be disappointed! Hes such a good soul and very respectful and informative when fixing things around your home. :) Nothing is perfect anywhere you live. There are always going to be loud neighbors, things that break, and so on, at any apartment community. But its how the staff handles it that makes all the difference. And these folks do it right. You can tell they really care. We love it here! :)

My wife and I lived here for almost 2 years. We loved our apartment. The community has a great maintenance team and office staff is friendly every time we came in.It was also located in a great area with good shopping nearby. Our favorite thing was the walking trail. This was great to walk our dog. We ended up finding a house that suited our needs better but would totally recommend this place to our friends.

Tim (leasing agent) is amazing. He made the moving process go smoothly even with the quarantine. The apartments are really nice. Cant wait to use the pool and gym

Great apartments with modern looking kitchen and hardwood flooring in the living room. Quiet Neighborhood. Car parking is readily available near the apartment (not talking about the paid parking) so far, which I found lacking in other apartment homes. Apartment valet trash pick up available 5 times a week. Also, gym facility is decent. Office staff at the leasing office will solve any issues right away.

You provide exaptational service and were very friendly all time that we live there.My precise points is on 3.5 stars, but because of COVID-19 restrictions it will rounded to the 3Pros-Nice pool with a hot tube, grill area and kids splash zone(did not work during 2020)-Nice gym(work only till 6PM and you need to be in mask COVID-19 restrictions)-Playground(closed COVID-19 restrictions)-Carwash-Great appliances(depend which apartment level you choose)-Community garden, really few apartment complexes have this(probably a few of your tomatos will be stolen)-Allow you to park 2 cars and a motorcycle without moving them frequently-Convenient location 10Minutes walk to Tanasborn shops, 15 to Safeway, close to trails and parksCons-expensive-valet trash is not convenient, trash pickup may depend on pickuper mood(if it is not pretty enough for him he will make a photo and send it to you next day)-compactor hours is not as promised, they declare that it should work during office hours but it isnt, so trash sometimes stack in front of it-ignore some of their own rules(residents are not allowed to have more than 2 lb propane tanks but a lot of people have 20-25 lb on their patios, if you store your bike in breeze way it is ok, but if it is kids one they will demand to remove it, ignore storage of bicycle bikes on balcony and patios but for kids stuff you may get fine)-some harvest from you garden may be stollen-neighbor motorcycle was stolen once from parking lot-had seen kind of security once in a year-not the best floor plans-constant ants in the apartments-low ceilings on first 2 floors I am 58 and it is feels low- ridicules charges for water

I love my home at Centro Apartments!! Great customer service both in office as well as maintenance crew. I appreciate the community I live in very much. Everyone I have dealt with has exceeded my expectations over and over again. I feel safe and very comfortable in my apartment both inside and on the grounds around the complex. Plenty of light for walking my dog. I give them 5 stars with no hesitance!! Sean, Jacob and McKenzie are the always very helpful!! Keith and Ed are helpful and great at taking care if minor needs in the apartment. No matter who I’ve dealt with they have always had a smile and make me feel like I made the correct choice in picking my home. Thank you all at Centro you all are very top notch! From day 1 I have felt like I have made a great choice! Happy New Years to you all, thank you for all you do!!Keith always goes the extra mile! One day I called the office to tell them a light was out in the parking light, it was fixed immediately. Things like all the above make me proud to be a resident here. From hauling off my tree to making sure I am happy with my place! Follow through with a pleasant smile. Centro is the best!!

Very friendly, courteous and helpful staff, quick response time for maintenance requests, sufficient parking spots. There’s a clear organization while working on exterior painting/community maintenance work with sufficient notices. Also, they don’t charge exorbitant move-out charges like other apartments in the area does.

This has been by far the best apartment residence in which I’ve ever lived. The managers are phenomenal. Caring, responsive, even flexible at times. The grounds are kept clean, and Sequoia has gone above and beyond with creating gorgeous landscapes. I recommend Centro to anyone who’s looking for a new home. I have lived in Centro Apartments for over a year now, and this is one of the best places Ive ever lived. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. If Ive ever needed any maintenance done, the turn around time is super quick. This includes major things like getting an appliance fixed/ replaced, or little things like having a sink fixed. The management is just really great here.In my area of the complex, I have never had any issue with parking and neither have my guests. This is a first for any complex I have stayed at. It far surpasses any of the other complexes in the area in this regard (I have friends that live at a few neighboring ones). I can always find parking next to my apartment.The remodeled apartments are very nice too. The complex is a bit older so you can hear some noise from neighbors on occasion, but nothing beyond what is typically expected with apartment living. I feel like I have my peace and quiet within my apartment. The amenities are very nice too. The small dog park is great, and so is the pool, gym (basic, but nice equipment), and hot tub. There is a nice walking trail behind the complex, too. The location is great as there is quick/easy access to the freeway, and its walking distance to an outdoor shopping complex with several restaurants. I definitely recommend this community.

I had stayed here for a little over a year. To my experience it was great, leasing office was really supportive in the entire process of moving-in and moving-out. Special thanks to Jacob and Tim for their support.The thing I liked the most was that the leasing office made efforts to keep the community alive and meet each other by organizing events and sometime even an ice cream party for kids.Thank you the entire team for their support and would love to come back to centro when I come back to Portland.

Sean and maintenance team have been awesome and helpful at Centro Apartments. Whenever I have gone and asked for any help I was offered instantly and resolved at the earliest. Even request which they were not able to fulfill immediately due to some constraints eventually was resolved by them approaching me proactively. Great team and I would give a five star.

This is the first time weve lived in an apartment complex with so many amenities. Its been a couple of months but so far its been a great experience. The staff are helpful and friendly. Any issues weve had were taken care of promptly. The properties are well maintained. Very family friendly.

We have been here at Centro for about 3 months, and all I can say is that its the best experience Ive ever had with apartment living. The management staff are wonderful - you feel like they really care about you and want to do everything possible to make sure that you are happy living here. They host activities like brunches and wine tasting in the clubhouse, and you really get a feeling of being part of a community.Ive had occasion for maintenance to visit for a minor repair, and they are super courteous, kind, and helpful. They go out of their way to make you happy, and they do great (and fast) work.We cant wait for the weather to warm up so we can plant herbs in the community garden, sit by the outdoor fireplace sipping gourmet coffee (provided in the clubhouse), and play table tennis by the saltwater pool. It really is a great place to live!

The staff at Centro are by far the most helpful leasing office staff I have ever encountered! McKinsey made the process simple and stress free. She showed us multiple homes, one of them multiple times, answered every question we had and made sure we knew everything we needed to do. They were genuine in trying to help us find a home and at no point made it feel like a sales pitch. On move in day Sean helped us get our keys quickly and explained everything clearly. All of the staff have continued to be incredibly helpful with anything else that has come up since moving in. Our apartment is beautiful and all of the amenities are extremely nice!

I have been here almost 2 years now. The staff is very professional and the maintenance team is very responsive.The community is in a great location and has public transportation very close by. There is also the rock creek trail right behind the complex, which is great for a nice walk.I have enjoyed my time while being here and would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

My wife and I lived at Centro for about 2 years and it was THE BEST apartment experience. The staff was attentive, respectful, always referred to us by name (or apt #), and the maintenance crew was on top of their game every day. Rent is reasonable for the area, especially given the amenities (pool, gym, great outdoor spaces, online rent pay). We have left the PNW, but if we were still there, we would have happily stayed at Centro for much longer!

The facilities are clean and updated and the staff is very friend and super helpful! Tim gave us our initial tour and has been our go to for any questions since moving in. Jacob went above and beyond to help us figure out an issue with our payments. We have lived in multiple communities and Centro is by far our favorite!

From the moment we walked in the office, the Centro staff made us feel welcome. we were only looking and werent even sure when we would need a place but Sean was diligent. He kept us in the loop and sent emails of which apartments were available and when. Finally, the perfect place became available and he knew we would love it and we did!. We are now all moved in and the great service continues. We recently had a need for a maintenance service and the next morning someone came and took care of the problem. Eddie, was friendly and got the job done. The Centro complex is quiet, well maintained, and safe. Thank you all!

Been here for several months now. Sean and the entire staff (including maintenance) are always friendly and deal with issues quickly. The grounds are cleaned frequently and the public areas are well-kept. Location is convenient and close to the freeway. Dont have any real complaints!

I moved to this community from out-of-state. My leasing agent, Sean Duenas, was absolutely amazing. Sean went above and beyond to help me out. I asked Sean to send me pictures of the unit and community without them looking professional. I wanted to see the place as it really is. Sean was able to do this within 24 hours for me. I also had credit concerns about being able to be approved for this. Sean took the time to go over the credit requirements and even talk to his team to see what they could do to help me out.Sean and his team are the reasons I selected Centro. Not only do I feel they went above and beyond to accommodate me being an out-of-state applicant, but when I met them in person they were extremely friendly and willing to do what ever necessary to make me happy and make my move less stressful. I couldnt be happier to have selected this community.The community is very clean, pet friendly, and close to great shopping areas. It might be a little more expensive then other places, but its not by much and considering how well the staff and apartment amenities are - its worth it.

Ive had a great experience with Centro since Day 1! My husband and I moved here from the east coast and were actually unable to visit Hillsboro in person before signing a lease. So, we relied on reviews, floor plans, and talking with the manager and leasing agents on the phone when we were trying to find a place to live. The staff at Centro were incredibly accommodating, informative, and helpful!Since moving in just over two months ago, Ive had only pleasant experiences. Some pros and cons of living here are below.Pros:- Extremely helpful office staff and maintenance team- VERY responsive maintenance team. All my service requests have been completed the same day I submitted them!- Valet trash service Sun - Thurs- Package lockers system for deliveries- Dog park- Playground for kids- Ability to add an accent wall color to your unit before you move in for freeCons (just one):- No a/c in units (I now know this is normal for apartments in the PNW, but coming from the Southeast, I had no idea! Lack of a/c is not a huge deal. From June to August weve managed pretty comfortably with our ceiling fan, box fan, and open windows! Just wanted to mention this here for any fellow East Coast people who might not know about this like me!)*You ARE allowed to buy portable standing a/c units (not window units) but we are getting by just fine without it.

Lived here for 3 years. The apartments themselves are spacious and the weight room, pool, and rock creek trail near by are all highlights. Make sure your upstairs neighbor has carpeted floors as opposed to laminate because you will hear every foot step. Also the appliances are on the lower end of quality.

Weve been living here since May 2017. The property was managed by a different company at the time, with Sequoia taking over late last year. I must say, weve seen a substantial improvement in service since then. Provided the rent does not get increased substantially near the end of our lease this year, we will gladly stay back. No complaints whatsoever. Wouldve been five stars if it wasnt for the previous management being so tardy with maintenance requests and such (have had no such problems with Sequoia).

My husband and I are loving Centro so far. We had inconvenient circumstances and had to inquire about everything for our apartment through email, even signing our lease, but Jacob and McKinsey were extremely helpful throughout the process and made it much easier for us being out of state. My family is so please to learn that the apartment my nephew has recently rented at the Centro complex is gorgeous. It has been updated with all new appliances and is freshly painted. The staff has been very friendly, efficient, and responsive to requests to address minor fixes to blinds, and the like.

I changed my rating from a 4 to a 5 after having so many people in town for the holidays and seeing the way others rave about our place. We are new to living in a city, but it turns out that Centro is above everything else in the area. If I was rating the staff and maintenance crew alone, they deserve a 5 star every time. They are incredible and have gone out of their way to serve the residence at this apartment complex.The grounds are nice, clean and they are always working to improve the area. There are nice amenities, including a modern common area, beautiful pool deck and spa, well planned parties, and the price (which we thought was expensive at first) is average for the area. The complex sits right in rock creek trail and is close to so much.The only knock I have on this place is the mandatory vallet trash service through a contracted company. Buildings get missed on a regular basis, which can be a bit frustrating. It is not unusual to pass an apartment with trash left from the night before.That being said, the staff and grounds crew do such a good job taking the time to collect the missed trash if it is brought to their attention, even though it is not their job.Thank you Centro for a good experience so far!

Been living here for a little over six months, and I have ZERO REGRETS. The staff is very friendly, maintenance requests are handled promptly and professionally (they leave mints on my kitchen counter, even if its something quick like replacing the battery in my smoke detector). The pool area is on-point! Plus they let me DJ the annual summer BBQ pool party. How fun is that?!

I lived here for 19 months - during my entire time in Oregon and wouldnt have lived anywhere else. 4 stars because of the minor complaint at the bottom of my review, everything else was great. I would definitely recommend Centro as the best complex in the area close to Intel RA campus.It is nice, comfortable, safe and quiet. Management is super responsive, friendly and transparent and go out of their way to help in any way possible and make you feel like at home (Sean, Jacob, Tim are especially awesome). Maintenance is prompt and excellent and work around your schedule. I had a faulty fridge which they replaced in a week with a new one. Small wall chips / loose fittings were fixed in a day. Well maintained common areas. Located in Tanasbourne, close to several plazas, a movie theater, hospital and 2 miles from Intel Ronler Acres campus. Quick access to highway 26. Online portal to make payments easily and submit maintenance requests. They give gifts for lease renewal - I got a fitbit charge which was awesome. Never lost a package or mail. They also paint 1 -2 walls depending on layout with nice colors for free. Certain employees can get discounts on move-in.One small complaint - they should tell the tenant apriori that ~ $135 for carpet/sanitary clean will be deducted from the deposit regardless of the condition of the apartment. I was charged this amount twice (once during a within-complex move and again when I eventually moved out of Centro) even though I left both apartments in a dust-free clean state better than what I actually received it when I moved-in with zero damages. These costs are considered general wear and tear and should be borne by the landlord.

You can not beat the location, leasing office crew, or the maintenance request turn around time. We are surrounded by the rock creek trail that provides a lovely walk to two nearby parks. Even walking down Evergreen is a lovely walk. The 47 bus line stops right on the corner of the complex. You are right near Tanasbourne, restaurants, coffee, and pubs. Down side is that the floors and ceiling are thin. I can hear my upstairs neighbors and my downstairs neighbors can hear me.

I am only reviewing the application process and first impressions at this point and will update my review in 6 months or so.We just moved from Georgia across the country. Needless to say that finding a place in these conditions was stressful, especially with a newborn. Sean at the front office did an amazing job helping us with the process. Always super responsive even on his days off, he gave us a tons of information and pictures about the apartment.We moved in and everything was as described. We enjoy the proximity of the Rock Creek trail, the layout of the apartment and the amount of storage. Community looks nice and very pet friendly which was a must for us. We dont hear the neighbors at all, but we are on the road side and we can hear that some.We hope to continue enjoying this place!

First place I looked at... signed my lease the next weekend. Resort living! But MOST of all... very kind, genuine, accommodating, welcoming staff from leasing office to awesome facilities/maintenance. Thank you all for everything you do to make us feel at home in a community!

I’ve been with Centro for several years when Holland Residential Managed it. I had no complaints.Then, one day out of the blue, Sequoia Management Buys it, wipes out all staff we are used to working with,with very little communication to residents.Additionally, they then proceeded to start locking all of our community trash bins that we PAY for to dump trash in. They then proceed, to put 2-5 page letters on your door, with many changes.No AC units are allowed in your Window anymore, among many other negative changes, that benefit the management company, not residents. They have not set up online payment methods for us, and go around taking pictures of your valet trash can, threatening you with fines, even though nobody complained for 2 years.They also brought in new landscaping company, that blocks getting out of the facility. They park landscape cars in unsafe corners, I’ve seen multiple accidents barely avoided.They leave the trash compactor bin open, which flies open and nearly hits cars.Fortunately, we are buying a house soon, otherwise I would terminate my lease, and take my business elsewhere. Don’t recommend this company, they are snakes in disguise.Expect massive rent hikes with the new company, soon as your lease is up.

When youre paying like $1800 a month you shouldnt be woken up every single day at 8:00am, including weekends... leaf blowers, mowers, jack hammers and construction noises all morning... This apartment complex is so small it makes no sense why they cant do the grounds maintenance a few hours later in the day. Super tired of 8am = noisy time. Some of us have important jobs that require us to stay up late, be more mindful of us. Its time the world stops accommodating Starbucks workers and appreciates late night medical staff

Had an absolutely delightful 1 year stay with Centro Apartments. Centro does take us one step ahead of other apartments to ensure it functions as an amicable community rather than provide just a shelter for your stay. Their pool parties, movies watch nights, grill lunches.. all aim to serve the community better. Fast services and quick response to emails are also worth mentioning. Planning to renew my lease on the 2BHKs without any regret. Thank you, Centro!

Centros Service Manager, Mike, and his crew may be the best in apartment living. Mike understands the perspective of the resident, and goes out of his way to ensure residents are enjoying their homes as much as possible. The crew is also expert, professional, and great as people to just talk with. The office staff is equally positive in their interactions. Despite the drawbacks of corporate owned and managed apartments, the people at Centro do their best to brighten your day whenever you come across them.

Centro Apartments are hands down THE BEST apartments in Hillsboro!!! Ive been here for over a year and do not plan on moving no time soon. Moving from the South to PNW, the staff made sure I had exact pictures of the apartment moving in and made sure all my wants and needs in an apartment was met. The apartments are very nice inside and out, have a very comfortable environment, and definitely exceeded my expectations! I have to acknowledge the hardworking and amazing front office staff (Amanda, Jacob, McKinsey, Sean, and Tim) who all have GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and very pleasant attitudes!! The maintenance staff also possess similar customer service and pleasant attitudes while working diligently everyday to maintain the appeal of the apartments inside and out!! It was the best decision Ive made to move to Centro, especially being in a great area to a number of shopping establishments.

We (boyfriend and I) have only lived in Centro for a few months, but we already love it. The size of our apartment is the perfect amount of space and the amenities are a definite bonus! Love how the apartments keep the grounds clean and maintained. Everyone is the leasing office is super friendly and nice, especially Sean who got us a great deal upon move in that continues to give back! I’ve never experienced a complex that is so quick in responding to tenants needs in a professional matter. Can ALWAYS get ahold of someone in the leasing office which SO important!As far as everything else goes, these apartments are basically perfect! The location is fantastic – close to Tanasbourne and a ton of grocery stores, not to mention the highway on-ramp is right next to us. Overall, super impressed with these apartments. I could imagine us staying here until we are ready to move into something bigger as there is nothing that makes us want to move at all. These apartments are wonderful – 5 big stars from us!! We have been living here since Oct 2018, but came to tour back in May 2018. We got signed up for email notices at the time that, upon move in, resulted in money off our first months rent and an extra wall in our apartment painted an accent color (so 2 instead of 1). There is an online community board, they have a great new system for picking up packages from a coded lock box (the code is texted to you), there is a fenced in dog park, a great play structure for kids, the gym is open 24hours and has a great mix of machines and free weights. We havent gotten the chance to use the salt water pool yet, but I am very excited to do so when it opens again. There is a ton of parking and our neighbors are fantastic! We are so happy with our move to Centro. The front office is open 7 days a week and filled with friendly and helpful people. The maintenance team are always around the complex and so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a great place to live, look at Centro Apartments.

My wife and I just recently moved in. Our old apartment complex didnt treat us with this much kindness in 12 months like Centro has in only 2 weeks. We feel welcomed in this community and it all started with the friendly staff making us feel right at home. All amenities are 5 stars. No need for a gym membership!

From the moment I viewed my apartment I loved it. The entire staff is very nice and accommodating, the grounds are kept clean and our home is very comfortable. If youre considering Centro Apartments Id recommend visiting the leasing office and taking a look for yourself, you wont be disappointed.

My fiancee and I have been at Centro apartments under Sequoias management for around 6 months or so now. We originally had concerns of the new management as we moved in about a week before the change and we unsure what to expect, however we can safely say now that those concerns have been put to rest. The staff members at Centro are both friendly and professional and have gone above and beyond at times to make certain our needs as tenants are met. They also work hard to create a sense of community within the complex by arranging events for the tenants to attend and using the apartment portal site to get any relevant information out to us in a timely manner. They have been happy to answer and address and questions or concerns weve had and made sure we were taken care of when we had a maintenance issue with our apartment. Very happy with both the state of the community itself, from the grounds to the amenities, as well as the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.

Always construction going, I work 12 hr shifts and as soon as I get home, construction is going on, they block up majority of the parking spaces with their trucks and have to drive around the apartment and or park at the opposite side, while this is going on, I cant even have my windows open because I need to sleep, I have talk to the manager Chris about things in the past and he is just a rude individual, doesnt care about anybody in my house holds opinions, so I stopped going in because he is absolutely no help, wont even try to reason with us. The gym is great but hope you have good headphones because other gym users go in with their kids and the kids will be running around playing with equipment. I actually almost accidentally hit a kid with 50lbs dumbbells while doing bench work with the kid decided to walk right by me. Overall some of the people who live here and amenities are very nice, wish I could say the same about management, and because of this, I dont recommend this apartment complex, might as well rent a house for the exact same price. Also the maintenance people are really cool and nice, seem like great people.

Best apartments I lived till date. Management is very proactive getting maintenance work done. Best part is they provide the club house for free for bday and other party celebrations.All I can say is they are better than 5 rating

They raise the rent every year 30% thats crazy. Its not a place to live if you are expecting on staying more then a year. I dont think they want people to stay longer based on there rent increases. The staff is friendly for the most part, some seem fake. You can talk to someone in person for 2 days in a row and I the 3rd day they dont know who you are. Now thats not every staff member thats like that, but it is very noticeable on some of the fake Ness. They have great amenities, other then they keep the huge over stock of trash cans on the basketball court so you cant play basketball. If they are not being used get them out. Oh if you are looking for well built then not the place to be. You can gear your neighbors going to the bathroom, you can hear them talking in the bathroom, well you can hear your neighbors just about anywhere anytime the walls and floors are so thin. You better hire a professional cleaner when you move because they will try and slap 10 dollars on every little speck of dust left behind. Which can rack up to a lot of money. Thats no joke. If you think you cleaned good redo it 3 more times because they WILL try and make money on you in the move out process. For the price of rent you can rent a house instead.

We love it so far! Very clean inside and out, we almost never hear our neighbors while were indoors, I can park near my building without searching for a spot far away, theres a nice gym, pool, and bark park. So far staff has been welcoming, organized, and professional. The rent is a good price in the non-renovated units, which are just fine. Love that we have a balcony, fireplace, microwave, stove, dishwasher, and w/d. Also, our pantry and walk-in closet are huge and we have three storage areas (two closets inside, one on the balcony). Close to the highway and lots of stores :)

The property is well maintained and they just updated the pool which is very deluxe. Our apartment is quiet and faces nothing but trees which is a rare perk at most properties. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. They are professional and always address maintenence issues within 24 hours. We have lived here for a year now and it has been our favorite apartment that we have rented. I highly recommend Centro Apartments. They take pride in their property and value their residents.
