Our clothes were locked in one of their washers in our building from Sunday 9:30am til Wednesday afternoon. We called and kept getting told someone will be out shortly,they took my phone #, said I would get a call when tech arrived. Me thinking great theyre gonna open the machine and restart another washer for us. Got a text around 4:30 pm Wednesday saying machine is open, Wow. No courtesy. Got $9.00 left on card, after thats gone Ill be going outside to do our wash from now on.

The washers are a very bad design! All small items in your laundry end up sopping wet under the rubber that seals the opening.The dryers, unless its a tiny load leave your laundry damp! If you add extra time its only 4 minutes for .25 cents. When my card was misplaced with $50.00 on it they couldnt tell me if it had been used and it couldnt be transferred. So frustrated! Going to go to the trouble of going to the laundry mat instead. So mad.

UPDATE!9-21-21, Ms. Darlene who works here got partial payment of $20 replaced on card, thanks Ms. Darlene! They saw $10 from last month, but it wasnt refunded. The refund back in February 2021 wasnt me. I was sold this laundry card last month from office staff Ms. Johnny for $5.00. I thank you for giving me back money, God bless!Card No. 0257623Hi! Bought a laundry card for $5 in August 2021. Earlier in September I put $30 on card, it said $30 was on my card. Went to use card & money wasnt on my card. Called Hercules, the woman answering the phones was rude, tactless, and unprofessional in her communicatiins toward the staff Ms. Johnny & myself, she lied on me. She said I reported that card being lost in January. They havent replaced my money or offered a sorry for the lost. The machine is broken here building A, its been broken for a very long time now. My UWS building uses Hercules as our laundry company; the machines are consistently broken. Dryers do not dry clothes even after 40 mins. New machines are re-furbished old ones with new doors only. Complaints to the company go unaddressed. Hercules promises to clean and service machines weekly... Would give minus stars if I could.

They gave me a laundry card then the washers wouldnt work, then some female said i had to return the card in order to get my money back from my bank account. Im waiting on a check because i deleted the account to avoid more fraud from happening in my life. I have to wait on a check. Its been a week. I just walked to the laundry. Or drop off service. 12 washer and dryers and 100 tenants and the building is not a full capacity yet.

Machines and dryers are always broken in Hillman properties. They send a guy to fix it (if he goes to the right laundry room) and if its fixed its broken again by the end of the day or next day. I am currently sharing one small laundry room with three 12 floor sections with 7 apartments on each floor because the other laundry room has been shut down by the NYC Department of Buildings. 4 of 8 dryers always broken and not enough washing machine for everyone. If someone takes all the machines its over an hour wait for a machine. Hercules needs to get it together and properly resolve the problems. Check the barcode Hercules.

It is very straightforward, purchasing or refilling your laundry card on this website. I like that they show images of each card so you can be sure you are refilling the correct card. It only took me 3-5 minutes to purchase a code, and I simply had to enter the code that I received in the station at the laundry room to add the money onto my card.

This company provides high end HE washers and dryers in my apartment building. Ive had several experiences of the washers not working properly, but todays issue is ridiculous. As I type this review, my laundry is being held hostage in a machine that malfunctioned, went offline and is locked in mid cycle. UPDATE: Multiple people from Hercules responded, including the VP of Marketing. They sent our a courteous technician and resolved my issue in a timely manner.

They just installed the machines into my communitys laundry mat about 2 weeks ago. I was wondering why they were so empty all the time and before the place was always packed so I assumed the machines were efficient. I was hype to use it and when I went to load money on to the card, it was completely cashless.This whole community is cash based and the nearest bank atm of any kind is about 10 blocks meaning that if I want to use cash, I wouldnt be doing it there. I assumed then I could create an account and merge the two funds (they gave us a card to use) because the app has a slot for entering the laundry card number. Nope! Not only did it not work but you cant load a specific amount. You have a $10 minimum that must be loaded. Irritated, I tried to delete my card info and close the account but it turns out that if you close the account you lose all your funds (which Im glad I did not load any money into) nor can you delete your card information once its been loaded. Oddly enough, as soon as I tried to delete my account, my password stopped working. I called customer service to see if they have a machine where I can load cash onto their card near me and if not to close my account. Once I was told that they didnt have a machine near me and tried to close to account, I was rushed off the phone being told my account was closed. I happened to check and found that my account was still open using the same password that couldnt work for closing the account. I reset my password and finally closed the account. I intend on just walking one block to the card operated laundry mat that takes cash as well as card to load their laundry cards over one that is so clearly money hungry that they want to drive you to spend money vs utility and efficiency.

My building has these washers and dryer’s. Everyone complains about them. The washers destroy clothes, they dryers never dry completely. Bad newsUpdate- after the last review and communicating with the owner, Hercules completely revamped the laundry room with beautiful new machines. The are a bit expensive but work so much better and use a app rather than a card. I have to give them credit. Now I just need to send the old card in to get credit for the $.I definitely respect a business that responds to its customers.

Machines do not work. Them show mold and mildew. I will ask for a county inspection for these machines in WT200 Cliffside Park, NJ. Service is too expensive and machines requires to pay a lot of time to get clothes dried properly.

Worst service in New York! We are new clients. And we didn’t know about 30 days policy. Right away after payment we called to company to make cancel. Because we can’t spend $25 in till 30 days. Beware, despite the card being tracked on their website, if you lose the card even though you have the number and access to the site to prove ownership there is NO way to recover the lossed cards value via balance transfer or reissue. Customer service doesnt sound even remotely apologetic.

I want to thank a few people at Hercules Corp., who were instrumental in instructing me as to the correct operation of their new dryers and washing machines.Donna, at first, help me over the phone to securely add money to my card by giving me a new code for money lost And Ray, gave me another code on a different day for the 5 times I tried and lost $6.50 and reimbursed to my card. On Tuesday, Eshack the technician who happened to be thereand explained first hand.a few things to me.Earlier on. when the Dryer 2 gave me a false message that the dryer door was not closed...I actually tried 5 times to insert my card with the same message again.Eshack, told me it was the lint door below the dryer. Apparently, these things are not always perfect when you are dealing with computer messages.Nevertheless, during these hard times we are all experiencing with Covert-19 we all need to have a little more patience. Most people are good and if we stop to think. They really are.May God bless you all and keep you safe.( You are getting a 5 star rating for trying to help your customers.)

I bought a code online a few months ago for $50, the code did not work at the card kiosk and i was told it will expire in 30 days. It took 1 or 2 weeks, 5 phone calls and 5 emails until i was finally refunded my money, which could have been lost if my code had expired. Hercules does not allow customers to check their own laundry-card-balances online nor are customers able to add money to their laundry cards directly online, so as a customer you have to use the busted card kiosk in the basement to only hope that your payment goes through onto your laundry card and is not stolen from your bank account leaving you with zilch. This just happened to me yesterday. I lost $30 because i requested $15 once, the machine said remove card, i removed card and the machine said the transaction failed, i requested again. The money came out of my checking account twice but was not accredited to my laundry card. I am now out $30 for nothing and i have to wait until these 2 charges are not pending on my checking account until I can request my refund.Hercules needs to hire a few computer experts to get their payment kiosk system and their website corrected. Unless, maybe they like it being broken this way... so they can get peoples money!

Could be better, but everything works. Machines do break down but are fixed quickly and there are enough in the whole apartment complex to find an empty working one. My building could use an extra dryer, though. Adding money to my card would be very easy over the phone or internet as well as for any refunds. Otherwise, it sure is better than the coin-op complex maintained system before!

Anywhere this company is located stay far away. This is the most unorganized company I’ve ever dealt with in my life. The fact they are still in business honestly boggles my mind.I finally got my 1 washing machine fixed in my apartment building since not even kidding last March.Now the code machine doesn’t work. Most likely will take 9 months to get fixed. The second washing machine now floods.I’ve yet to receive my refund of $11.75 and their so called location is in Hicksville. Unless the check is being delivered on a horse it shouldn’t take 2 weeks to mail a check next town over...My next steps are most likely to report this company to the better business bureau. Also to most likely take to small claims court over my lease agreement being invalid for 9 months now.Once again STAY FAR AWAY if your building college anything at all has to do with “Hercules.” There company name should me more like “Squirrel” or something along the lines of that! Whenever I m calling for refund of my laundry card.. they always tell to call tomorrow. It’s been four weeks and I mailed the laundry card which has 32.50$. And they did not issue the check. And now they are telling that ur name is not in the refund list. Looks like they don’t want to refund the money.They make you fool by saying to you to mail your card and they will issue check on ur new address. Ultimately they want to eat your money. Very happy customer service experience with this company. My laundry card stopped working - and had a lot of $$$ still on it. I contacted the company and they asked that i mail in the damaged card. Within a few weeks i received a check in the mail for the cash balance on the card.

My apt complex changed to this company a few years ago. The washing machines barely ever work, clothes come out soaking/ dripping wet/not clean. Clothes come out of the dryers damp. They’re always here “fixing” them. They “renovated” the laundry room and the washers are giving trouble less than two weeks later. I’m sure these are the same inefficient washers and dryers from before. I’ve made the decision to just use my local laundry mat.

I gotta admit I had absolutely no doubt filing my issue via Hercules website would fall on silent ears and would not lead to a resolution to my problem.I am happy to say Hercules surpassed my expectations of what good customer service should be. I got multiple email responses that my issue was heard, acted upon and resolved. They even sent me a new laundry card with the refunded amount I requested due to a faulty clothes dryer.My advice to all of you reading this post...get your Hercules complaints, whether its a broken machine or a refund, resolved via their website.

I do have a laundry smart card and I did put $30 on my smart card but I couldn’t use my money when I tried to use smart card never it didn’t show balance.I called to Hercules company 5 times I sent email like 3 times.Nobody helped me about anything.They sent me one code for laundry machine but also machine is saying invalid code.Last time I called them again and the lady even didn’t listen to me and she said the problem is not about us.I was like did I call wrong company! We use them in my building. Its annoying that you have to put money on the card with your phone AND STILL have to add the money by machine once in the laundry room. Because besides having to drag my laundry n soap down. I also have to bring my phone to enter the code into the machine. Also when you refill your card it USED to be automatically on 75 dollars. So while doing my laundry 2 days before xmas, it charged my card 75 dollars. And their only way to rectify is that you mail then your card and then they will mail it back to you. Which is ridiculous. I just left it for future use but definitely wasnt great a few days before xmas. That is still their procedure but they did fix it so when you sign on to refill its automatically on 10 dollars not 75. So theres that.

I used to live in apartment building that used Hercules washers and dryers and my experience was not all that good we had top loading washers at first with quarter operated dryers they constantly were unbalanced the dryers were so old filled with lint and ruined clothes because the lint would attach to sheets and shirts finally after 10 years, they were replaced, with modern washers and dryers that used the card which ripped you off and, the, washers were so dark you could not see how much water if any were inside.. Finally moved, now I go to a laundromat that used real machines 😂 shape up Hercules Corp you could corner the market and excel but you need actual working machines and not scam customers.

The work order I filled out for service to the machinery, was not done. The washers are in terrible shape & dont drain properly. Leaving us to have to wring them out after washing because they are soaking wet. Its just terrible, we have to dry twice or bring them home still damp, after all of that nonsense. Ive been a Property Manager of multiple multifamily buildings for the past 9 years in NY Metro. This is the only company I trust to recommend to my accounts. During that time I have been dealing with the same rep, who is fantastic. Important to note is that my former reps of other competing companies in the area have flown from their companies and to Hercules once they were bought out a few years ago. I used to have 2 companies I liked, but now all I have left is Hercules.

Their smart cards/charging station are anything but smart and the how to videos on their site dont match the charging machine in my building. it shouldnt be this confusing to use laundry. directions are unclear and messages from the machine dont make sense. I put in the laundry card since they say thats step 1 and step 2 I put in my credit card and the charging machine keeps telling me to take out the card without even asking me to put in the refill.

One of the worst services, if not the worst service, Ive had to deal with in my lifetime. This company is either incompetent or doesnt have the know-how of gaining a customer when its incredulously simple on their end.Its been over three weeks where I havent received a smart card that is required to use their laundry machines. Ive called over three times and submitted a request online countless of times and I still havent received a card after 3+ weeks when their website states 3-5 business days.To people who have moved into a building that uses Hercules service, I recommend finding a laundry-mat nearby. Go ahead and put in a request for a smart card but dont expect the minimal level of service from a competent company.Update: its been over 6 weeks and still no card. I live in a congenial 60-apt, building. We have two washing machines. Generally, neighbors are polite and cooperative in using these machines.They are in use constantly. The same machine has broken down at least three times in the last ten days. Tenants made multiple calls. A Hercules representative stated a service person would arrive Monday morning. It is now late Thursday morning. I, too, would give them zero stars. Ive been politely vocal in my frustation to phone reps. Theyre very friendly and professional. I now wonder if this foot-dragging is some form of retaliation. Our super, a stand-up guy, has no luck when he tries to intercede for tenants. Why?Common professional decency, honesty, and accountability go a long way. We just want clean dry clothes, Hercules.

If I can give this product zero stars I would. Recently my building replaced our old coin operating washers and dryers with this product. The dryers are absolute garbage. They dont dry. Good luck if you are trying to wash sweatshirts and towels. Your only shot of getting dry cloths is to split one load of laundry between two machines. It should not be like that. I am amazed that new machines can be so terrible. I personally think that it is done on purpose to squeeze more money out of the tenants in the building. I only hope that people look at these reviews before deciding to put these laundry machines in a building. Trust me you will upset all of your tentants, and they will constantly complain and aggravate you. Even if other companies offer the same service for more money its 100 percent worth the money not to have these garbage machines in your building.

I must say I think they have really good customer service as I have called a few times for card replacements, broken machines, etc. My issue is the actual dryers. I find that even without a full load the newer dryers still leave clothes damp- even after 50 mins. for a medium load (and not a ton of towels) They old dryers we had worked so much better - assume it is some eco-friendly trade off but I need to have my clothes dried in less than 2 hours!

Terrible customer service and issue-resolution. What started out as a minor problem turned into a major hassle. After a week of phone calls and submitting screenshots (as requested) for a duplicate charge, I ended up speaking to a very rude CSR. He refused to offer the credit because charges can post at anytime and it mustve been from a previous payment and everything is right and we dont owe you anything. After reviewing every charge/post date from the month with him, there was, in fact, an overcharge. He asked me to provide additional statement screenshots with more detail and wouldnt be able to help until then. I explained that I sent them with all the information that he would need (the same CSR signed off on a previous email that included the screenshots, by the way). I escalated the call to a manager, with whom I went through the entire process again. Low and behold, there is the overcharge clear as day. While the manager was able to credited the charge (in the form of code for more laundry, not my credit card), there was no apology (from the CSR or manager) for the experience and no explanation of how it happened. I completely understand that things happen, but after reading some comments, maybe something fishy is going on with this company. The immediate dismissal of my request without any digging or problem solving was the first red flag. Customer service goes a long way and this company could definitely benefit from some training and attention to detail.

The cards they use are slow, expensive, and break easily. But I guess that didnt really matter, as I cant seem to give them money. The machine to refill your card, that you have to use, is frequently down.I thought the several months we had no washers and dryers were bad enough. Con Ed and the city wouldnt let the machines we had be used, since they did not use the proper hoses to hook up to the gas line. So be careful, if your building has their machines hooked up to a gas line, they could blow you up.But now, with the proper hoses, we still cant use them. The payment machine is often down. And guess what, it takes 24 hours for them to just check it out. Which means they put an out of order sign up, and with on fixing it... eventually..Dont bother with them. They are bad.

Wish I could give 0 stars here, the machines in our building are old (3 washers and 2 dryers), they constantly have issues wether it’s the water staying in the machine or something with the spin and your clothes are all soaking. Now our money reloading matching doesn’t work (I have tried it at least 20 times today with no luck) so I’m stuck with half my stuff being dirty and half being wet since it won’t let me load my card. You can’t even reload it over the phone (I asked them when I called and they have to give me some code to put in the machine for me to get the money). They will send someone out within 24 hours but until then everyone is basically stuck in our building without being able to do laundry unless they still have money left on their cards (that’s 47 apartments without a working money reloading machine). Oh also to add to the point it’s much more expensive to wash the stuff at home than go to a laundromat where I’d spend $30 max on all our stuff including sheets and towels and here I need over $50

Im so livid my apartment complex decided to switch over to these machines that require cards that you refill through their app or website. They dont work. Called the hotline, they took ten dollars to load into my card- Never added to the account. How do you make any money when your app and website refuse perfectly valid cards?

They absolutely suck. They dont service their machines in my building at all. Our building has six dryers; only 3 of those machines properly dry the clothes, the other 3 leave them wet. It takes 3 hours to dry the clothes. One washing machine doesnt spin and these machines have been like this for at least a year, so they clearly are not servicing them. I have written them & they never responded. Any of the positive posts here have to be fake, believe the poor reviews.

This company continuously makes things that should be simple so hard and waste my time. The machines always takes out more money than they are supposed to, and I’ve been trying to reset my password on their website for about 30 minutes already!!!!!! Why do they make things so hard!!!!!!!! It took too long for them to send a reset password then when I put it in they aren’t accepting it. I HATE THIS COMPANY!!! LITERALLY DESPISE!!!In addition the minimum I could put on the card using the machine is $10!!!!! WHHHHYYYYY!?!?!? Why is the minimum so high!!!! I only want to put in $5 I only need to out in $5!!!!! I hope this company fails because it just simply sucks. I’m not using them anymore.

They suck. Period. My building switched to this company two years ago and they made a big mistake. Literally, there is not even a week that passes by without a problem with these machines: they break down, they operate only for 5 minutes after taking your money. The super of the building told me that a maintenance person from Hercules comes to our building everyday. Everyday! And yet the machines keep breaking down. You have to call the customer service to get your refund. They give you a refund plus an attitude. The fact that this company is still in business is a joke.

Someone should really investigate this company. The machines do not wash well, constantly eat funds off your card and do not spin properly producing an error code of unbalanced. With rude agents such as Lana in their customer service dept., its no wonder the reviews are so horrible. Weve only had their machines for a few years and one broke down so often that it had to be replaced. Take the reviews into account and think twice before going into contract with them.

Everytime I wash clothes the machines in my building end up being “unbalanced” there is no option to pause the machine fix the issue and re-start your cycle. Instead you have to wait for the cycle to finish re-adjust your clothes and PAY AGAIN to start a new cycle. Since I know this is an issue I have resorted to putting half a load in the washer and even then “unbalanced” this is ridiculous. Here’s a thought how about we bring these machines up to the 21 century and have a pause feature where customers can re-adjust a load if needed without having to re-pay. A half load of clothes cost me $6.75 because these machines can’t seem to handle a full load (or half a load at that).Let’s not get started on the dryers!

Hercules Laundry Corp. has machines in our building, all of the machines have been out of service for over a month. The company says they will make a service call and never does. I would highly recommend using another company!
