Remember were getting our vehicles fixed so that we can get them back in good repair were not going there because theyre nice people were not going there so they can keep our vehicles for long periods of time make sure you have a date that the vehicle will be done so you can have full knowledge of when you will be able to have your vehicle back in your possession please

Well most shops said from start was around 500 to get heads and valves done . this place likes to price it low then add all kinds of additions to your invoice. For 500 i could of bought new heads with camshafts already together. I end up with heads that only a few valves were changed and a few guides changed and i have to put cams and lifters back in. I will probably just buy new head with it all new so i dont waste time later. Origionally i was told $230 for a valve job that dont include valves i aaked 3 times how mucg expecting all valves to be done and each time the price changed day to day for parts. After deposit the next day they ask if i wanted a leak down test. Well of course i do im going to buy new one pop on and call a day

Very nice and friendly staff. My car was serviced to clean the sensor. After it was done I was on the side of the road twice after. I took it to the dealer (which is where I should have taken it in the first place) dealer told me the person that performed service forgot to relearn the vehicle which is why my SUV went out twice on me. Bummer. I did not have a great experience. It cost me so much after for the mechanic mistake.

Even though we did not have service there. There customer service was phenomenal. Great people.

Very honest n affordable. They try to fix the problem without having to break ur pocket. I do n did appreciate there honesty. My suggestion is dont listen to the negative comments until u give them a chance to repair ur vehicle.

Had them do the block for my camaro a few years ago. They were super helpful and knowledgeable. Quality work and everything was dont exactly as promised.

We had a 1959 Ford 223 6 cylinder engine block that was in need of a major over haul. The block was out of a truck that has been in the family since it was purchased new and we wanted to restore the truck. Rick, Donald and the rest of the crew were AMAZING at handling this rebuild!!! The job was done quick and they kept us informed every step of the way. We put the block back in the truck and so far its running like a dream! Couldnt be happier with this shop and would recommended them to anyone looking for a great engine rebuild!!

They are friendly and the service is fast. The Price is a little pricey, but their work is rock solid so you get what you pay for. They turned a Flywheel and honed some front spindles for my stock 1931 Ford Model A Tudor.

I think to write a proper review you need to have experience in the field you are reviewing. Most people will not write a positive review because they are satisfied with the product or service and just go on with life. The ones that feel they have been negatively treated will put on a negative review to try to get revenge for what the feel has been improper treatment. I was in my youth an owner of an automotive repair shop so I have a little experience. Nobody is 100 percent and do make mistakes but the guys at Arringdale’s come pretty close to perfection. I no longer have the equipment to do machine work but can do the disassembly and assembly of engines and have over the years had machine work done on two engines by Arringdale’s and believe they are the best in the high desert

I recently took an old British sports car engine to Arringdales to have some machining done, including the cylinder head rebuilt. i was given a cost estimate before any work was performed and a rough idea of the time it would take. I was impressed with the level of professionalism displayed by the shop owner as well as the communication when there were questions or issues regarding the work that needed to be done. There was only one small issue that I discovered after i got the engine home and Rick Arringdale took care of the issue as soon as I showed him the problem. During the process, I was given advise and suggestions regarding the engine rebuild and things I might consider doing. The cost of the work was very reasonable considering what I had asked to be done. Overall, I would highly recommend Arringdales machine shop to anyone who needs to have engine work performed. This was not my first experience with this shop and I know it will not be the last.

I took the heads from my dodge durango here to have them tested, surfaced, and have to valve seats and stem seals replaced. They took longer than they said to do it, but eventually got them done. After putting my truck back together, it ran great for 3000 miles, then dropped the intake valve seat on cylinder #1. Upon inspection, I found the intake valve on cylinder #4 to to be leaking as well. Their are scratch marks by the valve seats that make it look like they dug them out with a screwdriver. Now Ive got a damaged piston and Im going to end up paying for re-manufactured heads. Im getting rid of the ones that Arringdale worked on, as I cannot trust them at all now. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. To their credit, they did tell me to bring the heads back for free rework, but after all the trouble I went through, I just cant trust Arringdale to fix their mistakes.
