Fantastic salon! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Honestly got the best haircut Ive had in years! So pleased with the whole experience. Becca did exactly what I wanted and made it even cuter than I imagined! Im in love! The cost is low and service is high, I absolutely recommend this place!

I took my 5 year old dsughter here for her first salon experience and everything was incredible. Becca was so good with my little princess, and made her feel very special and grown up. Would highly recommended this place to anyone with kids... everything was great!

I would highly recommend the stylist Fanny, she is honest, fast and passionate about her work doing everything possible to please the expectations of her clients. During the time I was there I was able to look at the work of Becca, another stylist who is also very professional and friendly.

Went to get my sons first haircut and he was NOT having it. The hairstylist that worked on his hair was amazing and never made me feel uncomfortable with him crying. One of the workers played YouTube videos on her phone to keep him distracted. I will definitely be going to this salon for years to come ! They also gave him a certificate for his first haircut which I really appreciated ❤️

They set me up for a app. on a day that they were closed,when i called and told the person on the phone that happened her response was -ya and-there was no apology just a very rude tone like so what:( i thought about giving it another try but i came to my senses and took the message that was given we dont really want you as a customer! I dont know if thats how they treat everyone or if it had to do with me explaining to her when setting the app., and when asking why i was booked on a closed day that the cut was for my 5 year old son thats on the spectrum and may need extra patience from the stylist, maybe its a case of discrimination im not sure but wasnt a good experience

I came here based on a recommendation from my boyfriend who gets his hair cut pretty short so I was a little nervous, especially given my naturally curly hair. But Natalie was amazing, she really listened to what I needed with my hair and adjusted anything that I needed adjusted. They were super friendly, nice, and knowledgeable. I will most definitely be coming back!

I have been coming to Family Styles since 2017 because prices are reasonable and hair dressers are very nice and professional. The place is well kept and clean. I feel safe even now during the pandemic.

I recently came in looking for a trim on the sides. I asked the lady for a 1/2 going up to a two and to blend the sides with the top (I usually style it with a middle part.) However, the lady instead cut a 1/2 all around and cut way too high up. Because of this, the top of the hair is now uneven. She then proceeded to give me an undercut rather than doing what I asked and blending the sides with the top. If she were confused and voiced that I would have been alright and accepted that its just a bad haircut, however, she didnt and proceeded to cut my hair as if she was in a rush (all was done within 15-20 mins.) I have been going to this place on and off again since I was 10 years old, but, after this atrocious haircut and terrible customer service I will no longer be taking my business here.

BRING CASH! Best form of payment at this location.This was my first time at this location. Overall it was a great experience. I called over the phone 2 days prior to my appointment to explain what I wanted. They price off of what you describe but it can be a different price when you actually walk in the salon. Its best to be see in order to give proper pricing. I had Val and she was very nice and always made sure I was good during my time there. I came 30 mins early and got helped earlier than my scheduled appointment. I think its best to make an appointment rather than walk in but I did see they do accept walk ins but if there is too many people in the salon you may be asked to wait outside. I did like the service and feel I was treated fairly. Thank you Val !

Hello Everyone,I have gone to Family Styles Hair Salon for 2 years. My stylist is Jesse. She is amazing. She lets me know when I like something but lets me know if it will not look good on me. I trust her she is great!! The cost is ALWAYS very reasonable!!

My daughter had her hair cut & colored by Val. It turned out great ! Val gave my daughter great advice on how to style it and keep up with the new color . Val was very professional and ensured the safety of my daughter during the entire experience . Their prices are a little higher than Great Clips but it is a full service salon, so it’s worth it in my opinion. This salon is close to home and I love that it’s a family owned business . My family will continue to patronize this salon .

DAWN is awesome! Ive gone to her twice so far. The price for a haircut is close to $18 and that doesnt include a wash. I wish the prices were a little better but, oh well. I just try to wait till they have a coupon. The other thing is that there are no appointments. I usually prefer to have an appointment but I just call be before I show up and the longest I had to wait was 30 min not too bad for $18! And the cuts are amazing. Everyone there has always been so nice.

Normally i love this place but today (10/9) I think I got the worst haircut of my life and im honestly not that picky. It was the quickest haircut ive ever gotten tho so thats a plus. I think ill just go back to cutting my own hair.

Pearl is amazing, I originally went in to have Dawn do my hair because a lot of the reviews i was seeing were on her, but she was pretty busy so i decided to take a chance and let pearl do give me a haircut. Hair cuts give me a lot of anxiety because of past experiences and this was my first professional one in nearly 3 years. She did such a wonderful job and was so calming and understanding! And my new haircut looks great, she really took the time to understand what i wanted as well as tell me what was achievable with the current ( fried and horrible) state of my hair. I really love what she did and Im so happy to have FINALY found a hair dresser I can trust to cut my hair.

Staff was super friendly. Hair cut was.. ugh.. not that good. Its OK. Just not as clean as I have had in the past. But, the staff is super nice!

I SUGGEST that they provide their hair stylist a roll-about utility trolley cart so they can do their job more efficiently. I found it very awkward and inconvenient for them having to reach the hair color bowl which was sitting on their station counter. Hair color solution drippings on the floor is inevitable without the proper accessories. Thank you.

This is the only place my son and his two sons get their haircuts. Ask for Dawn. She is awesome. She spent about 45 minutes or more with my 3year old grandson. She is very meticulous. Great stylist and great personality. For the service and price you cant go wrong! Dont forget ask for Dawn

I took my 5 year old son here for the first time today and we will not be back. We were a clean up end of day walk-in appointment. Which I really appreciated but not worth what my son went through.The stylist was so rough on my sons head that I had to repeat to her that you are hitting his head too hard with the clippers. I understand it was late in the day but if she was in a rush to leave she shouldnt have taken another customer.

La Donna was decent but I was charged 40.00 instead of 20.00 because my hair is a little course but it didnt take any longer to style about an hour total. Im kidda sad I was charged double. I think 25.00. Would have been appropriate their were no special products used. In spite of that La Donna was welcoming.

Dawn is a great gal. She has been cutting my hair for years. I wont let any one else touch my hair. She also makes you feel comfortable. So for a great hair cut ask for Dawn.

I had a bad experience here. The lady who cut my hair was Mandy. She gave off an attitude that I did not feel comfortable with and I started to actually panic during my haircut. She made comments that sort of came off rude like. I walked in with already short but out grown hair. I asked if I could get the bottom shaved and not to cut the top at all. She did a wonderful job shaving my hair, but then she said dont worry, Im just going to cut off some of this back. And I was perfectly fine with that. Then she slowly made her way up to the top of my head and started cutting off a good inch or two off of the top and added all sorts of lengths/layers that I did not want at all. My hair is so short now I need product just to keep it down. I absolutely hate my hair, I cannot do anything with it anymore. Even if she had to cut the top short and layer it I would have appreciated it if she asked first, because I would have still said not to. This will not be the last time I come here, just the last time I go to Mandy to cut my hair.

Does not accept plastic. I think the owner forces you to use his ATM machine inside the salon and charges extra 75c for the idea so they can avoid the 3% credit card fee if they actually accepted credit cards. This automatically puts this business in my avoid list.

Friendly & patient staff. They did a decent job on my 14 yr old and 9 yr old. The establishment was clean. CASH ONLY theres an atm that has a processing fee in the lobby and was not aware they only accepted cash until after the hair cuts were complete so i was put on the spot to use the atm and pay the fee.

DO NOT LET MANDY CUT YOUR HAIR! OMG. About 10 weeks ago we came in to get my sons hair cut. We usually see Kalya, but she was off that day and he had Mandy do his cut. She didnt cut it they way HE wanted, she did it they way SHE wanted. Tonight, another young lady did my sons hair, she was AWESOME and did it just as he asked. I believe in 2nd chances, so I let Mandy do my daughters hair. BIG MISTAKE. I swear she was on OXY or drunk. She kept repeating herself, slurring words, and dropping things. Even my daughter asked what was wrong with her. My daughters hair was about a 1/2 inch uneven, which I need to get fixed, its SO BAD. I tipped her not realizing how awful it was. NEVER EVER will I go back. The owner is an idiot to let Kayla go, but keeps Mandy? So, he just lost 3 customers. I hope the other girls get wise and find a better salon to work at. WOW, just WOW.

Had a bad experince at your Solon I had Judy cut my hair and she didnt cut it straight she didnt even style it to see if she cut my hair right I had to go home to find out she missed up on the back of my head real professional think a few people need to be re trained since I was told by one lady she cant even cut that style..
