The owner quoted me to fix my transmission, when I compared the other invoice from the dealership 3 weeks prior and almost less than a mile from their shopSonnys Auto repair were $800 -$1200 higher than the dealership with longer factory warranty provided by the dealership brand.I was charged $125 hourly labor rate, and wasted 7 hours of my day, and they told me that the parts were 1-4 weeks out, means not available at the same day.They are not transmission certified technicians I have faith that they can do the job also I provided the check engine light code to them days prior to my appointment.I am just shocked that their price much higher than the dealership service 😳

I chose this repair shop because it is close to my house and has amazing Google reviews. Those reviews are justified.My 2011 Toyota Camry was leaking oil. Sonnys diagnosed a leaking gasket, which required the removal of the engine and transmission to fix. They did the whole job for $2000 (it costs $3500 at the dealership) and everything went smoothly and on schedule.While the car was taken apart, they replaced some worn parts for just the cost of parts, since they were removed anyway.When I picked the car up, everything was in its original place (seat, mirrors, loose coins, etc.), and the engine and headlights had been cleaned at no extra charge.Sonnys is now my repair shop of choice, and they will be my first stop for all future repairs.

When my AC went out Sonnys got us in quickly to diagnose the problem. After changing out the compressor and an expansion valve, the technician heard an unusual sound as he pulled out for a test drive. Not being satisfied with the results of the parts change, he ordered and replaced the compressor again. The overall job took longer than anticipated, but the diligence of the technician made sure we were back in a much cooler ride! I would definitely recommend Sonnys for your auto repair needs.

Our 36 year automotive business was looking for a local mechanical shop for the Henderson-Las Vegas area. Reading Sonny Auto Repairs reviews they appeared almost too good to be true.We took the owners SUV in for some normal maintenance, brakes, oil change, etc. Chris at Sonnys completed the work exactly as requested in less than a day. He did not attempt any upselling, as we find at 99% of the repair facilities around town. His pricing was extremely fair and reasonable.Being in the business for such a long time we know it is very difficult to find a shop that you like and you can trust. After our first experience, I know we are going to be back to Sonnys Auto Repair. I see now why Chris has so many 5 star reviews.....because he earned them!

Its not easy to find a mechanic that works on Land Rovers but Ive had my LR3 to a few shops, Sonnys is by far the best. I had issues that other shops were unable to fix but Sonnys got it done at a fair price. They go above and beyond with customer service as well. I really cant say enough good things about this place. They are prompt, courteous, and professional.

These guys are great their honesty and integrity is second to none. I will send Friends. family and anyone asking for a good mechanic to them with no hesitation. It is so hard to find a good mechanic they have a client for life with me.

Took my lexus in for a check engine light and seat belt repair. Chris was very helpful and ordered the new seat belt connection and a new gas cap. He said they would try this first before checking anything else out for the evap code alert. It worked and saved a bunch of money!

Excellent service great customer service with honest repairs I wouldnt trust anybody else

Ive had a nagging issue with my car for a couple years now where it would start fine when the engine was cold, but once it warmed up if I parked somewhere it would crank but only start reluctantly. As you can imagine, this makes going somewhere and getting back home you cant take for granted. Ive taken my car to a dealership (they wanted to sell me a new engine and of course, transmission) and 3 other mobile mechanics to figure this nagging problem out. None of them fixed that problem, though they managed to find other problems that were in greater need of attention. Each time I called them out on their failure to address what I hired them for, they all would just shrug and tell me they couldnt figure out what the problem was without a complete rebuild of the engine.When I called Sonnys within 15 minutes of having my car in their shop, Chris came out and informed me of the exact problem, explained in full what the part was, what its function was, and how it was causing my start issues (I forgot the exact wording) and quoted me a price. I hung out in the lounge for the next 45 minutes that it took them to repair it and when all was said and done, the repair ran me $180.00 (incredibly he was off by 19 cents!), which way less than what I had spent previously unsuccessfully trying to fix this.A couple of things to mention. The lounge is cozy, Chris offered me the use of their tv with netflix and amazon prime to make the wait go by, as well as access to their wifi. So those 45 minutes just flew on by.More importantly, their repair came with a warranty that is good for 36k miles in both the US and CA, on any work they do. None of the mechanics or shops I had previously looked into offered that degree of coverage, the absolute most I got for coverage was 12k miles. That says IMHO volumes about their commitment and professionalism.in closing, I will not hesitate to come to Sonnys in the future for any repairs I might need. Seriously, they are a shining example of the kind of mechanic we all wish we could find.

Shoddy work. Got total attitude when I asked about a 2900 quote for labor to replace gaskets. Previous work on my power steering pump not done correctly. Really disappointed. Nothing explained when I inquired. Bad service.

Brought in my old vehicle and the shop was busy. Still managed to get me in for a look. He called around for pricing on parts for me. Wrote out the estimate in front of me showed me his cost for parts and labor as well as his up charge, which i thought was a fair price. Had to keep vehicle over night, but was finished early the next morning.
