My mom has needed assisted living for quite a while now but shes been difficult to accept that fact. My husband and I toured Pacific Green Valley a few months ago and were extremely impressed! Sharon Killian, the Sales Director, took a lot of time with us, graciously answering our 100 questions. It was not the right time to move mom in, but we knew that when the time came, we would move her to Pacific Green Valley.Fast forward 6 months and the time has come for mom to move to assisted living. We contacted Sharon who, once again, made herself available to help us. We took another look around and were just as happy with what we saw. There is so much to do when moving a parent! I found myself emailing Sharon multiple times a day with more questions and she always got back to me immediately, wanting to put my mind to rest and make sure things went as smooth as possible for my mom (and me). She was truly like a guardian angel!Mom is set to move in in a few days and Im very excited for her. I know shes going to love this place. Her room is lovely and the cottage shes in is adorable! The entire staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The grounds are very safe and well kept. I will update my review once mom is acclimated which I have the feeling wont take too long!
Excellent and caring staff. The cottage concepts provides a calming environment and continuity for clients. My mother has been here for over two years and I find it to be excellent for her. She is familiar with her surrounding. I would recommend them for their love ones.
Locating a safe, clean and compassionate place for a loved one diagnosed with Dementia is never easy. A family member recently needed immediate placement in a memory care facility. We toured several places in the Henderson/Boulder City area and chose Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley. We are SO GLAD we did!!! The staff there is amazing - especially Sharon, she has gone above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition. From the moment we met her we knew this was the place we would choose. :-) She and Ann moved furniture into the room and decorated it to give it a familiar just like home feel. We live out of state so updates via email, text and phone calls are critical and Sharon has been awesome to communicate with us. Sharon you are a true GEM and Pacifica is lucky to have you there to advocate for their residents.
My mother has been living in Pacifica Green Valley since 2016 and as hard as a decision to place her in a care center was, I am so glad that I found Pacifica Green Valley. I have been more than happy with the staff and the living arrangements. The one thing that sold me was that it looks more like a home instead of a hospital. Big kitchen areas as well as large living room area with a large TV. I give this place 5 stars because the staff really care about the residents and I knew my mom was in good hands. As her time draws to a close, it is so wonderful that all the staff have come to me to share their feelings about her. Thumbs up to Pacifica. :)
The team at Pacifica Green Valley is one of the most amazing team of directors that I have ever come across! Julie Mason handles every single situation that arises with kindness and compassion! Ann Holman the activity director keeps the residents happy and quite busy even during this National Pandemic
Hi All...My name is Kevin and I have my mom with Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley. Pacifica has been a blessing of all blessings. The Staff is absolutely Wonderful and the way that they treat their families is truly a reflection of what lies within their Hearts.During these very difficult times they have done everything human possible to care and protect their residents and families. What an Amazing Facility! And May God continue to Bless All The Residents and Staff at Pacifca and us All.In My Love and My Light...
One of the nicest assisted living facilities in the Las Vegas Valley. Pacifica Senior Living Green Valley as cottage style living where each of the residents has their own room in a small cottage with small group Community dining and personalized care. The staff here are very caring and compassionate and provide excellent care to the residents. They specialize in memory care and are very well trained in handling residence with all stages of dementia. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a home Lake, caring environment for your loved one.
I am thankful for Pacifica. I have visited many places and I believe that Pacifica has the best care. The staff is compassionate and they truly care for the well being of the residents. The caregivers, the receptionists (Susan, Raquel), Melissa, Janet, Ann and others are professional and kind. They make the environment at Pacifica feel welcoming. It is always clean and the meals they offer are great. The activities and entertainment offered at Rose Hall are fun and I am amazed at some of the musicians that perform here. I dont often write reviews, but I wanted to point out how grateful I am for Pacifica.
The caretakers, administration, and ground keepers are very nice and show compassion. But as I reported before the meals lack daily nutrition needs as outlined by the USA Food GuideThe chefs try hard and are nice. The cost of getting medication is $400. PER MONTH. The landscape is beautiful. I fall asleep listening to the sounds of the patio style waterfalls and wake up to the sound of small birds in the many mature trees The bedrooms and cottage living area are very clean and homey (in a good way)C
I have visited my Best friends father at this place for the past 6 months before his horrible death.I personally felt I had to write a review as the things have witnessed while visiting. From the beginning, we could tell something was wrong because his behavior ( as a dementia patient) changed. We thought maybe it was the environment changing. But then we started noticing fingernail puncture wounds on his arms and legs. Several times we showed up for visiting and hes been sitting in his wet soiled diaper for who knows how long. When they finally kicked him out of the home for being too aggressive and his dementia had gotten too advanced ( even though they are supposed to specialize in this disease) this was the most gentle man Ive ever encountered in my life.He died not long after being thrown out.I wouldnt wish this place on my worst enemy and now my best friend had to live with the consequences and forever guilt for trusting these people.Im actually sick to my stomach even writing this review. And my friend is inconsolable. Please reconsider placing your trust in these monsters.
My Mother has been living here since 2014 and I am very comfortable with the care she receives. The staff is very caring, they have daily activities to keep the residents entertained & busy. They also offer two bus outings per week that the residents seem to enjoy. The administration is always available to answer questions.
This is a fantastic community! The caregivers and Medtechs are so dedicated to what they do. The management team is responsive and always willing to help solve problems. I would recommend this assisted living/memory care community to anyone looking for an intimate setting for their loved one.
Nothing like good Monday morning vibes! Our residents enjoy yoga every Monday morning. Please stop by anytime for a tour and complimentary meal! We love our guests just as much as our residents! If you have any questions feel free to contact me!Kaitlin PeitzExecutive Director
Ive always liked this AL/MC. The cottages are very nice, the staff is always welcoming and the referral process is very smooth. They will take care of you and guide you through any situations you have.My team likes to refer to their facility for all of these reasons.
If you want good care go somewhere else. This place is so mismanaged it really is. The entertainment tech had to put on a med tech costume and give medication out to the residents due to short staffing. I work there I seen it happen a bunch times. Yes I had to change my name because I do need the job. When I work in the memory care units its scary and its not just me its most of us we never had training when people want to fight or throw things we just hide. The Old caregivers will act tough and fight with them and showoff and use pain compliance, but really? I did not think we were supposed to put our hands on the residence. they only do that when family members are not there. I could go on and on but whats the point. But it is real.
Everybody considering this facility PLEASE Go Elsewhere . The Care Givers have Zero training they make $9.50 an hour you get what you pay for. Pacifica has great marketing they claim they can assist with our loved ones that have Alzheimers and dementia there is not one person on that property that has this kind of training to help people with Alzheimers and Dementia not one. The food is terrible there is no water in a cottages theres a tub of ice as the ice melts thats the drinking water. The staff gossips about each other something fierce we caught a whole ear full of it there was a big heavy lady smoking a cigarette talking on her cell phone outside we had a close the window because the smoke was polluting the cottage... there are no cameras in a Cottages either so God knows what goes on when family is not there..
I was a former employee. Management dont get involved with residents at all. No clue whats going on! Puts up a huge front for residents family. Takes money from residents and allow mistreatment bc no clue of what goes on. Care givers are taken advantage of too! BEWARE
The caretakers are really great. However, there is turnover like crazy. We lost Trudy (congrats on a promotion), Lorilee (blamed for actions she didnt do) and then nurses, one who should have gone, and one who was great. Now those who have replaced these ladies are also gone or gone this week. How can we have a relationship with the facility if the turnover keeps going on? Please get stable soon. You have so much good to offer and I want to see this again - like how it was eight months ago.
Terrible! There is really nothing to discuss. This facility should not even be open. People are not treated right. Ppl should be treated with respect. One day itll be your turn to potentially be in a facility like this and I hope those that treat these people the way they do dont encounter the same treatment that they gave. (Actually I hope you get the exact same lack of care and no respect.... its called karma)Melissa is a horribly rude person that needs to take her smoking and private phone conversations to a new location. I could go on and on for what.I would never send another loved one here!!
This is a beautiful warm and welcoming cottage setting. It is very clean and the staff are welcoming and professional.
Outstanding care, support and dedication to the residents.
This small, intimate setting of this community provides the residents with the support they need, and yet has the appeal of a large facility.
I love seeing the resident activities on Facebook! Keep up the great work!
If you want your family member safe and well taken care of RUN from this place fast.Dangerous place.
I worked there as a caregiver and as an advocate for the residents, I believe and feel that as a caregiver, I need to understand their rights, respect them and put my God-given skills and passion to provide the necessary care needed, knowing that I made the decision to apply for the job, and they are paying me...
Staff is very caring, Great Cottage concept for caring for Memory Care or Assisted Living.
Deneshia is very unprofessional and lazy ... this place is unprofessional when it comes to hiring people they do group interviews which is very stupid for one .. 2 they had me go get a tb test, finger prints and a physical. Knowing they were not going to hire me . They had me calling back to back just to tell me they had other people before me and the position I applied for was filled, me being new to Las Vegas and turned down jobs for this job is very disappointing, i should have been aware that I wasnt going to be hired right away instead of giving a run around.
The company is great the people are really nice and respectful.
Worst experience ever take your family member and run fast
Community looks great, and the staff are very caring.
Mom has been here 5 yrs she is 90 with dementia doing very well!
Worst Receptionist ever!!!! As rude as rude can be... WoW... This is not a good first impression. What a turn off!
