Such a cute place with friendly people! so clean! walked in today and was able to get a great gel pedicure with only a 10 min wait. the owner did a great job with both the pedicure and massage, never rushed. employees and customers were friendly and easy to talk to. once they found out I wasnt a local, they were still super nice which is rare. Im definitely going to make this place my go to nail salon.

Absolutely amazing service! I noticed the beautiful jazz music playing in the background, it made the experience even more amazing! Such a calming and truly relaxing experience. The owner did my nails and he was amazing. I showed him a picture of my desired nail shape and he did it amazingly, asking me if it was ok! He applied the nail polish very very well! I love model nail spa! Ive been coming here for almost a year now, and thats a record for me. The owner is so lovely and makes all of his customers feel right at home. I actually look forward to my chats with him and he makes it feel like a lovely little community.Besides the amazing customer service, its incredibly clean, the nail technicians are super talented, there are several service options to choose from, and the amount of colors they have is really impressive!They do take walk-ins, but I suggest making an appointment if youre thinking of going after 5 pm Monday - Friday especially if youre getting SNS powder.You wont be disappointed! I highly suggest giving them a try :)!

I went with a friend and there were only two people working. We called ahead of time and they said they could do both our refills at the same time. He starts working on my friends nails and doesn’t even touch mine. The other worker was doing one pedi and once she finished the pedicure I was expecting her to come over and start working on me. She didn’t she walked into the back and never came out again. Then two more customers walked in and asked if they could get their nails done. The man said to come back in one hour. The salon wasnt busy at all me and my friend were the only customers in there. The phone kept ringing and no one would answer it. When he wanted to start on my nails I said no because we had already been there for two hours. No one bothered to start on my nails when we had 2 appointments.

With Model Nail Spa I found it.I first came here on referral from a friend and I havent stopped since. My sister and I have been coming for nearly a year. Between the two of us we have tried a handful of the services provided and have yet to leave dissatisfied. Not a day goes by that I dont get a compliment on my nails.The facility is one of the cleanest and most welcoming environments Ive been in.If youre looking for a well priced, clean, friendly experience provided by gifted technicians, look no further.

Chose this place as it had the most reviews and we were not familiar with the area. Went in for walk-in appointments with my friend to get full sets and we are pretty satisfied with our experience (very friendly staff and quick service). I would give 5 stars, but I was a little disappointed with the shaping of our nails and we had to even it out ourselves afterward. However, I am very happy with their work overall and would recommend!

Only had 2 people working. Great prices. Did a good job with mani/pedicure but paint chipped quickly and destroyed my cuticles on my hands. Definitely will go back for pedicure. They have several variations on pedicure choices. We like the sport spa.

Stellar work done at this salon!Right when I walked into the door, I was greeted and directed to wash my hands in an effort to keep everyone safe. I dont have the most flattering finger shape, so the type of nail I needed was specific. My nail technician was able to accomplish the shape I desired without correction. I havent been able to achieve that in any other salon in Harrisonburg.During my session I explained that my job is physically demanding and hard on my hands. The technician gave me an extra dipped coat purely out of consideration. Im thankful that the employees at this salon think about outside factors and not just making a buck.I would 100% recommend this business to a friend or stranger.Thank you for not only satisfactory service... but for being good people in general!

Found this place here on google. Squeezed five of us in for pedicures within an hour, which was great. Nice clean shop. Comfortable massage chairs. Super thorough... I was impressed by what a nice job she did. We will be back.

Haven’t had a pedicure or manicure in over a year so decided to try this place out. Went and they never gave me the option but they put gel polish on my toes so they could get me out quick and charged me 8.00 extra dollars. Didn’t scrub my feel very much and never put lotion on my feet and legs. Also, did my gel manicure while I was sitting in the pedicure chairs so it was very very rushed. No massage of hands or anything. Very very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I understand not spending much time last year in store but I just went in June of 2021 and service was very minimal!!!! I was going to give them business for my sons wedding in July but never again!

Me and my best friend went in, they cut her cuticles and told her her nails were to short after they had put on acriclics on to do a French tip and made her pay an extra five dollars to do a powder instead. They were extremely rude. The nails we got were not worth what we paid for them. I will never come back here

Super fast & worked well to find the color i wanted!

After having my nails done 1 week ago, they are peeling off. As far as I know there is only 1 tech doing fill ins and he doesnt seem to care about what you want and how they look when hes done. Save the frustration and dont go here.

It was my first time back today. They have added plexiglass partitions between the technicians and clients, the tools come in sanitized packets, and everything was very clean. I felt comfortable and I am so glad they are back in business!

I went to get simple nude acrylics. I was serviced by a man who was the owner of the nail salon. He rushed my nails and didn’t take his time to make them look good. I was not satisfied with the outcome. Some nails were too short and crooked. I had to be serviced by another lady there who drastically improved my nails but they were still not as good as I wanted them to be. I will not be returning.

I had taken my mom out for a girls day out type of thing, we went here and were told they had a 30% off sale going on and that it was $28 for both of us. We decided to do it and at the end of it all, it was somehow $88 and we werent given an explanation for the price either! My mother had gotten french tip which was super rushed and I had gotten CLEAR polish and that was rushed, the lady left the lotion all over my legs without massaging it in and it was just a very unrelaxing experience; I will not be returning ever again!

This was my first mani/pedi since March and it was absolutely fabulous experience. All the safety protocols were well considered and service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. It felt so good to have my nails done and have such a great experience!

Great salon for dip powder! This was the first time Ive gotten dip (Ive only had acrylic + gel or just gel before), and I love it. I had a great experience here and my nails came out perfect. I will definitely be coming back and will be telling all my friends about this gem. :) go here!!! you will not be disappointed!

I have never had a good experience here. We went I got the sports pedicure which says there is a massage, did not receive one and was in and out in 20 mins... not a good pedicure and VERY expensive.

I got gel polish and it was messed up after 7 days they tried to do both my pedicure and manicure at the same timem

Got my nails done 3 days ago, the color is already coming off. The nails are uneven, and tacky looking. A few of them look like they’re already growing out. My finger was cut during the service & there was no apologies for it. I either want a refund or for my nails to be fixed correctly. This is not very professional.

Firdt time here...they were not busy! The owner was very rude and insisted that we had to get gel polish on our toes and the paint job was very poor. Very expensive for the quality of work and time spent. I doubt I return!

Myself and my daughter went and we both got mani/pedis. Was charged over $150. The nails are uneven, crooked and Very very thick and look extremely tacky. My regular nail salon was closed so took a chance visiting a different one. Will not make the same mistake twice. I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone. And if you do decide to go here make sure they are very clear with you on pricing before hand.

I just left this facility and I will not be back.They had me pick out a color but they didnt have that color so instead of pink I asked for the guy tries to put purple on my toes. I tell him thats not what I asked for then he tries to say well I dont have time to paint your toes. I said noo it doesnt work like that n as ok $5 off ur bill. I pay for my bill then he goes outside to have a smoke break after saying he doesnt have time to complete my pedicure. Very upset with the service

I have certain wants for a pedicure that not all of my friends enjoy so it is nice for us to all to each get a pedicure we can enjoy. It is a great place to come and relax if you come in the morning to avoid to crowd while also a fun place for you to bring family and friends. I got the anti-stress pedicure which I would recommend times ten to anyone looking for a great stress reliever and they were kind enough to fix my nail on a mistake that I made. Ive had 2 gel nail sets done and after a long search, I think I found my place! If the guy is there, try to get him. Hes meticulous. My first set of gel nails lasted about a month. Im 2 weeks in to my second set and they look brand new still!

I have been talking my wife there for about 6 years now and she loves it. They always do an awesome job. Paul and Tiffany are amazing. My wife loves them and doesnt have anyone else do her nails.

The gel polish was globbed on my fingers like they were in a hurry even though there was no one waiting. It peeled off after 2 DAYS on half of my fingers. I wasn’t even working with my hands in that time span. I asked for coffin, but got some kind of lightly tapered square shape, that was uneven on different nails.

I’ve been to just about every nail salon in the area and Model Nail Spa is easily my favorite. I get acrylic gel manicures and the occasional pedicure and every time I am impressed with the quality. My gel nails easily last 3 weeks. Staff are wonderful and very accommodating and always make sure you’re happy with your nails. Prices are the best I’ve found in Harrisonburg. I will never go anywhere else!

Won’t be back, literally go anywhere else.Went to get a full set. This place used to be awesome. My nails are crooked & I kept asking if they could be shorter because of my job & they finally just cut them to a length I didn’t want. My nails are still too long. Whole nail isn’t painted either. I’m not sure what happened but it seems they are understaffed or something. I felt like a burden for even being there. environment was very awkward. They seemed to be in a rush.

Great place for a pedicure, but terrible place for a manicure. I was at Model Nail Spa the evening of January 24th (Friday) and the gentleman doing my pedicure did an absolutely amazing job, he was very gentle and took extra time to make sure everything was done well. A lady then did my manicure and it looks terrible! The polish is clumpy and its now Monday and the polish is already coming off. She also didnt paint all of my nail...the polish stops before it reached the bottom on every single nail. Five stars for the pedicure but only one star for the manicure.

I’ve visited model nail spa a lot over the years, I was one of their first customers when they opened a few years ago. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is always friendly. I will say they are a tad bit pushy with their services, but if they offer you something extra for a little bit more, they really take pride in what they’re doing and give you the full experience. I can’t complain at all. Would definitely recommend this salon!

It was my first time going to this nail salon and probably my last. I requested a gel manicure, which was done in a fast and sloppy manner. What irritated me was after the gel was dried under the uv light, he used a nail file and ruined the finish on the sides of the nails. Here we are one day later and my polish is chipping. Gel mani was $28.

Quick and precise

I had a botched acrylic nail job (thick nails, air bubbles, lopsided nails, etc) done at a different salon yesterday, but I came in here today and got them quickly fixed and they look gorgeous. They’re longer, symmetrical, smooth, and a lovely black and red ombré design. The man that did my nails was kind and even removed the old nails for free. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

The salon was clean and nice. They only had two staff members and kept telling us different prices. Also the polish is already coming off an its only been two days since we got them done also we left with are feet hurting.

Ive been coming here recently only because its in a convenient location and close to my job. My first experience was with a gentleman, who was kind of rough and cut one of my fingers and had me walking out of there with polish all over my hands, no clean up, no cuticle oil. My hands looked a mess. After I got home I cleaned them up and overall I was happy with the way they looked. I decided to go back just incase he was having an off day. He was very rough this time, cut into the skin on three of my fingers, the polish is lumpy and still no clean up or aftercare. While I was looking at my nails he looked at me and just said $30. I wont be going back..

Went to this salon and was treated so rudely by the staff. Constantly told me a different price that I would have to pay and tried to tell me that it was because it would require an additional “technique.” I had enough and told them I just wanted to do a fill-in with no color and it would be $22 when the price board clearly said $15. Will never go back, awful service.

Wonderful family owned business. The ambiance is so relaxing, parking is easy, and they check in with you throughout the service to make sure you are comfortable, need a drink, temperature is good, etc. Ive gone twice now. Overall was definitely worth money.

The man gave me two different eyebrows and left wax on my face. Prior to this his wife did my UV gel incorrectly for my pedicure.

Most of the time, I have had good experiences at this salon- their pedicure options are fantastic and the owner (I forget her name) is very efficient and always did a good job with my fills! However, last time I went for my regular acrylic fill (not done by the owner), one of my nails snapped later that day. The same technician fixed it no charge but less than two weeks later, I have extreme lifting and another nail snapped. Disappointed- and will probably be looking for a new salon. :(

I LOVE this nail salon. I dont go anywhere else anymore. Everyone is always courteous, the prices are competitive and you get this great shoulder massage while youre drying. Ive been to a lot of other places and this one is by far the best for the best price.

Staff was friendly and it was a clean environment. They were short staffed so it took a while, but my end product was a disaster. I paid $45 for something that I completely hated in the end product. It’s splotchy, has weird white bubbles and has small dents. This was my first and will be my last time coming here.

I went to this salon for the first time last week. Not even 24 hours later i had to go back because one if my nails broke. That ws on Saturday. They fixed it at no charge. But then on Monday i had another one to break and now the top coat is peeling off. I will not be going back to thus salon.

I have been going here for about 3 years now, I go in about every 2-3 weeks I always get a gel, pink and white pedicure and gel pink and white nails! Paul has been doing my nails for years and I have never had any problems with him! The staff is nice and the environment is very clean the sanitation on the tools is excellent and I would not go anywhere else!
