Got a used laptop. Decent price. Until you realize its messed up from the beginning. Sure theyll honor the warranty. But charge a 20% restocking fee. They wouldnt have needed to restock anything if they had fixed it in the first place. Unacceptable. Maybe this is JMU quality. My money will not be back.

Great service, reasonably priced ( most affordable in the area), knowledgable and professional.I got my Iphone x screen repaired the same day, without an appointment and was in and out within 30 min!

I was very impressed with these guys. I had a broken screen and had been conversing with Best Buy and the Geek Squad as I had insurance thru them and wanted to get my info off my old phone. Three weeks and about 10 hours on hold and 3 trips to best buy with appointments they would not fix my phone only replace it. I walked into Gadget Town they had a screen on hand, fixed my phone in 1 hour and it was only $50 more than what I had to pay at best buy with my insurance. I will be canceling my insurance and going to Gadget town from now on!

Had a great experience here. Ivan helped me out the most and was great. All the guys were nice, easy-going, and helpful in giving options, and gave me a great price. Also gave me and my sister some of their chocolate almonds, which was pretty cool considering chocolate hit the spot for my not so great day. Hospitality overall was awesome. I highly recommend them!

Do not go here to get the back glass screen of your iphone replaced. I had a perfectly working phone, until they used their machine to get it fixed. Somehow, they burnt something up internally in the phone and now my phone restarts constantly and I cannot use it at all. I appreciate the great customer service I was given, but the fact your machine actually broke my phone, I will never come back, and tell everyone I know about this experience.

I went in a few days ago after dropping my Galaxy A20e down the stairs pretty much destroying the screen. I was able to speak with the owner of the store and he assured me that fixing the screen was no problem. I came back later that day and the screen looked great and so far I’ve not had any problems

My phone was acting up so I took it to battery’s and bulbs where I had a new battery put in less then a year ago. They told me it was the charging port going bad and that they would have to send it off for a week to be fixed and it would be over 100 dollars. I asked if there was anyone in town that could fix it in shop and they told me I could try gadget town. I took it there and they told me all I needed was a new battery and they had it fixed in 20 min for less then half the price and now it works great. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Brought my iphone 6 screen to get replaced the price of the screen replacement is what got me in the door and i wish i never got it replaced here. My screen is raised on the lower right corner and the left top corner the screen doesnt even fit it. Touch screen doesnt work in certain areas of my phone. I should have just paid 90$ at Battery Plus and my phone would have been in good shape. Never going back again.

Tried to sell them a Galaxy Tab S2 that was in great condition. They didnt offer me what I wanted but they were honest and clearly explained and showed me why they made the offer they did. I understood. Point is they offered me better money than 3 pawn shops. They are direct but polite. I left with the impression that they were fair and honest. If ypu have electronics talk to them do not waist your time with pawn shops.

By all means, I had the best experience with Gadget Town.The entire process of having my phones issues analyzed and quickly solved was quite literally effortless and easy.Happy to come back to the wonderful staff and people here at Gadget Town.

The staff here is great and trustworthy. They are able to repair your device in a more than if not reasonable time, and are just over all great people that are willing to help you if they can. Prices are also very reasonable.

Just called downtown store explained to the RUDE guy on the phone that I had several items to get rid of. Monitors, printers etc. He informed me they dont want things like that. I replied you advertise you take these items he told me they didnt want them. I then called the new one on reservoir st and that guy said he would take a look at them??????. Whats up with these guy??. Do they not know what they are doing or WHAT????????????

The staff of gadget town was very helpful. I brought in a phone to flash onto a new network. They went above and beyond to help me make sure everything was properly working. Gadget Town saved my computer and wallet. I have been trying to fix my computer for the last week. The hard drive failed, I even bought a new hard drive and tried install the iOS and NOTHING WORKED! I was about to take it to a hammer when I took a last ditch effort at Gadget Town. An hour later Im one problem stress free!Ivan, who worked with me, was really nice, came straight forward with everything that could be done. Great customer service.

Fair prices, knowledgeable and dependable. Today I went in just a few minutes before closing and they stayed open late to help me out. They let me try new batteries and chargers to figure what exactly the problem with my computer was. They didnt try to rip me off and fixed the issue. This is my third time there and every time they fixed my issue and did so quickly and efficiently. They are the only place in town that I go to for my computer needs.

I went there to have my laptop fixed. When I arrived the current person working was clueless and gave me a price that way exceeded the needed repairs. They then showed me the wrong part that they said they needed to repair. They said the price to repair it would cost $140 before even looking at it. And previously we repaired it for the exact same problem and the guy put in a new hard drive for 90$. So it was a very fixable. They just seemed uneducated with the computer. I only recommend bringing a very low end laptop or a phone.( I had a $1000 MSI Laptop )

First time and last time here. Wanted to trade in some items and the store clerk looks at me absolutely clueless. No greeting I r anything. Didn’t have much to say when I asked general questions. Who is this guy? I understand your store ads are plastered everywhere to show you buy used electronics, but you clearly do not offer much for anything. 2012 gateway laptop with an i3 and 4gb ram, great working order and you can’t offer a $1 for it? iPhone 4S, you don’t even consider, yet your add shows it listed. I was going to take trade in value and use towards a laptop purchase in your store for my wife, but not now. Thanks.

BEWARE! My screen was repaired and then the touch would not work. The screen also seemed raised. The owner Ivan was rude, condescending and would not resolve the issue. I had to buy a new phone and told my sales man what happened. AT&T near gadget town said they have also had so many similar complaints that they now warn customers not to go there. I wish I had went to AT&T or Apple first.

At Gadget Town I had my iPhone 5 charger port fixed for a competitive price. I also brought my water damaged PC in where they recovered all of my information and uploaded the information onto a computer that I purchased at a much more reasonable price than Best-buy. Gadget town is the best tech shop in area. Period. They recently sold me a perfectly working, looked brand new, 64 GB IPhone 6s Plus for $450 dollars! (For those who dont understand, that is a very low price!). They then gave me a piece of tempered glass which about $40, for free and gave me an Otterbox that is probably worth $50 or $40 for like $25 or $20. They are knowledgeable and know what they are doing. One time I brought in a broken laptop that had fell from a pretty high height and wouldnt even get past the login screen. It also had a broken LCD. Within a week they fixed it and it worked even better than before! These guys know what they are talking about, they are very friendly, and really are looking out for your best interest. Go to Gadget Town!
