Today I took my fiance for her passport, office was pretty empty . We approach the counter & are quickly asked if we had an appointment. We say no & are quickly referred to schedule 1 online . We leave & make a call as we leave & learn you dont need an appointment, so we return . As we get there Supervisor calls our name & asked what happened. We simply tell him & he ask wich clerk told us that, we point her out & the tall Anglo hairless clerk on the next cubby quickly says they didnt have paperwork ready . That was a straight out lie cause 1st of all he wasnt present, when we got there & clerk never even looked at our documents it was straight to you have to schedule an appointment online. I POOR ratings are right on ..Myra who helped us definitely GOOD

I had filled out several Change of Address Forms, online and paid for each one. Much to my surprise much of my mail was either RTS, or getting other persons mail. 🙄🤔. I had to go to the offices to correct the problem. 🙄.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. There was a man standing around without any identification, Im assuming he was a manager. When spoken to he acted as if he was bothered by it. If he is in fact a manager he could do a better job and explain to the customers in his community why there is a delay or how their prosses works in the office. The girl who finally helped process my paperwork Myra was incredibly rude. Not once did she make eye contact. Continously rolling her eyes with a horrible attitude. Non of the four employees working greeted their community customers with any form of respect. Anna was very rudely yelling out for next customer to a point where she was asked if they were all having a bad day. I believe customer service starts with the higher ups and this just proves it. When asked for a complaint form I was told to refer to the website. According to the website it does not accept complaints for post office employees and that they should be handled in the office.They are public servents and there to provide a service. People often have no choice but to deal with this poor service. After looking on social media they have gotten away with treating their community poorly for way to long.Do better...

Terrible!Received a notification saying my package was delivered, but it isn’t in my mailbox.It’s been three days and I’ve been trying to resolve this issue, but the employees never answer the phone.When I call the 1800 number all I get is an automated system.USPS is the worst delivery service!! I would much rather deal with UPS or FedEx.UPDATE:So I finally received my package thanks to a kind neighbor.The mail courier put it in her mailbox instead of mine.This is the second time this has happened 🤦🏾‍♀️ Next time I order something,I’ll try to avoid any business that uses USPS

We went yesterday with a passport appointment. The post master had good customer service. But the mid aged women with short hair that processes the passports had the worst attitude, did no care to explain anything. My 7 year older daughter asked me why she was being so rude. She could not help us because we forgot a original birth certificate at home. She said she could not take us back the same day. I explained to her that my husband was only in town for the day and wont be back in while. We left called the New Combes city post office they gladly took us in and were super helpful. I am glad not all post offices are the same.

Last years xmas presents took 6 weeks bouncing from PO to PO.I paid for priority 3 day. What does 3 day priority mean? It means you pay more and the chances of your package getting to its destination are no better than throwing it to its destination.Also, sent a much needed get well card to a friend in Houston, and they never got it. Was it throw it in the trash for Dejoy?

They break 50% of the packages they ship then refuse to pay the insurance that you paid for. Customer service is slim to none. Don’t bother calling they won’t answer anyway. Occasionally there nice but not usually. Not much good to say pretty much every experience with this place has been bad to awful.

Horrible. I needed to speak to a supervisor about a check I was suppose to get (payroll), but they told me that I could speak to one at a certain time. I told them, at the times they want me to speak to a sup, I am working. Secondly, they told me to call the number directly and speak with them over the phone. I got their number. Never got through with them because it was an automated message. They only have a supervisor available from like 9am to 12 pm, monday through friday. What about service for other times?

The phone number listed has no human receiver. All of it is automated with no real information. To solve an issue, you must go to the post office in person, so dontwaste your time calling. I am just tired of getting a notification that an attempt to deliver was made but no one was home, causing me to have to pick up my package from the post office about 15 min away the next day. Most of the time I am home, so I know they never made the attempt. I live in an apartment complex, so if the packaged doesnt fit in the little mailbox, they use that excuse to not deliver to my door and return it to their post office. Meanwhile, FedEx and UPS deliver to each individual door within the complex.

Very friendly workers that have a lot of patience getting you what you need. There are lots of boxes and packages they offer so you can send away whatever you may need. It is nice ans clean as well. Lots of available mail boxes available as well to rent. They have the newest collections of stamps as well. The prices are very good. All needs met!

Unfortunately..... USPS chooses what packages they will actually deliver to my door step and I have yet to receive several of my packages. They leave a tag with information and when I call to have packages redelivered information is not available.Due to not receiving the items and not able to setup for a delivery date I had to purchase the items from another vendor who uses a different delivery method.Customer service representatives are robotic.

I have information delivery so i know what will come in the mail each day. My mail has been getting lost lately with the new delivery staff, more than likely they’re leaving my mail somewhere else because they’re too lazy to get out of the mail truck and put it in my mail box. I have tried contacting the post office and customer service but no luck on getting someone live. I can’t go to the local post office with my kids being off school and new restrictions with this covid-19. They need to step up with the delivery system!

Absolutely no help. Came to pick up a package that i had gotten no notification of being delivered MARCH 31st and they wouldnt even look in the back for it. Saying i needed to come back tomorrow morning for the supervisor. If i could give less than 1 star I would.

Rude people. Both ladies on the front desk are very rude. I wanted to verify the payments for the package I was about to send but the lady with a really short hair talks to me like I’m a kid. Very unprofessional. She is in a customer service job but needs to learn how to talk to people better.

Went here to get our childrens passports taken care of but they told us that they stop doing them at 4:00... We arrived shortly after 4:00. They dont have anything posted about the times that they do passports. My husband had left work early so we could get it done. The lady at the counter was dismissive and rude.

I just read four unfavorable reviews and want to balance this image of the Harlingen USPS a bit. I have lived here 1 1/2 years and have had nothing but amazing service with mail delivery. Our regular mailman is friendly, helpful, and will hand-deliver all items if he is walking to our door to place a large package. Also, I have only had positive experiences with the actual office--workers are helpful and kind even when my kids slow me down or mess with the displays. Overall, southern hospitality and service.

If there were 0 stars I would put it. Very rude man that works for passport. In one day went to the post office 5x and each time I came they told me I need to bring more stuff or they change up what they told me initially. It clearly says on the paper bring old passport ORRRRRR birth certificate. But they said we need to bring both. So if you are applying for a passport goodluck.

Went to get my passport there, the lady that first helped me out was very nice and very helpful but all of a sudden she left and i didnt know what to do since she did not let me know she was leaving and who was going to help me finish my passport files. this man ended up helping me but he was VERY rude. he acted like i was stupid when i asked questions and when i asked where the lady who helped me was he said “dont worry about her”. not only that he kept yelling at me and made it seem like he owned the place. horrible.

I own a business and constantly have to ship items weekly and sometimes daily. I ship with all other shipping companies. These guys are pretty rude. They talk to you like your stupid and do not seem to be very happy with their job. I had a simple question about my package being lost in delivery and they did not seem to care much.

If I could give them 0 starts I would. The lady who helped me was the absolute WORST. Super rude, not helpful, acted like I was dumb, and all the employees just had smirks on their faces. It was my first time getting a passport and I had genuine questions which she failed to help with. They seem very unhappy there and the service is absolutely terrible.

UPDATE : Clerks have been issuing receipts to customers featuring links to a survey reviewing the service they received. This, shortly after this review and a call to USPS regional office about my experience. Hopefully, this results in a new, albeit forced ethos of order at this venue. Otherwise, Rudy the clerk is arrogant and condescending .Clerks play dumb about specific information when asked. Five phone calls at different times and days resulted in no answer.

Been trying to get a key for my mailbox for about 2 weeks now. My husband had horrible service from some rude lady when he went to ask what to do in order to get a key. He went today to get the key and guess what, the lady entered the information wrong so now we have to wait another week. They were even about to charge him AGAIN for a key that wasnt even made. Im beyond furious. We have statements and a package in our box that we cannot get because of their mistake. They did not even try to contact us to tell the information was wrong.

Drove to Harlingen, TX post office on Sunday to get a flat rate envelope. Big post office building, but no supplies in site. Probably this area is high crime rate? I was in Colorado and there are flat rate envelopes available when the window is closed. Same in Wyoming- flat rate envelopes are available when the window is closed.

I had a package delivered, tossed over my 8ft gate, and my dogs tore it up. I filled a claim and the local post office rep contacted me via email. He claimed that the carrier did not notice my 3 dogs (who sleep by the gate BTW), the box debris in the yard (from a previously delivered FedEx package that my dogs got to as well), the fact that my gate is 8ft tall (not site who gave them permission to toss it over), nor the fact that the box had a message written on it that specifically stated to place the box in front of the gate (written in 1.5in tall letters, in heavy black marker). The local office concluded that since the message was no written in the same face as the label was attached and the carrier didnt notice the 3 any if the things previously mentioned, they were not at fault (as if the carriers wire horse blinds). Also, the item i received wass a lithium ion battery for my scooter. Had my dogs ingested the battery contents, they would have been extremely sick. I have since escalated the claim to the regional office and am waiting for them to contact me.

A terrible place with horrible customer service skills. The excuse mgmt gave over a month ago for not answering the phone was a new system was installed and they have yet to learn it. Still, no person answers phone. Slow learners maybe? Mgmt cares nothing about their job, only to get a check and to hell with customers is how they operate. Harlingen post office is the worst post office to ever attempt the serve the public. And the company I own spends over $2k per month in postage for over seven years with McAllen Business Mail Dept. They know how to run a business. Harlingen post office is pitiful.

They have lost three out of three packages Ive shipped with them this Christmas. Im heartbroken and sick to my stomach. 1 Hr hold times if I want to call customer service. Never will I ever ship anything USPS again. Hopefully, this failed program will soon become insolvent and disappear.

I live out of city limits. I have a basket hanging inside my fence for packages that dont require signatures. I have filled out a form stating that packages can be left in the basket if I am not home. Today I waited on an package I was suppose to receive all day. I came out when postman honked to tell me I had a certified letter. So I came out to get it. Then he gave me all my letters. I thought oh will I guess package is not coming today. I left the house. Next thing you know when I came back there was a slip in my box, stating sorry we missed you package was too big to fit in mailbox. I was like I talked to him in person why didnt he give me the package then! Always making mistakes, it is just a waste of my time going to go get the package at the post office. Dont know how many times I have talked to the supervisor! And this keeps repeating over & over again.
