I am very disappointed and will not be returning. The services I received was great until I heard a dragging noise underneath my car. My skid plate dropped down. It was was 97 degrees Saturday and I had my handicap relative with me. I contacted the Hampton establishment and spoke with Ashley . I explained my situation about not being able to move my car and needing assistance. She advised me to hold on so she could connect me with the supervisor. This resulted in leaving a voice mail. I contacted the home office and left a message. Good luck with that because someone called and left a voice message with me that someone would contact me. Long story short they connected me with the Newport News office and Shaw came out to assist with a temporary fix until I could follow him to his location to get it fix. The manager Antonio was very professional and helpful. I explained to him that this was not done at this location and thanked him for his assistance. Ashley contacted me Monday and I told her I wanted my skid plate replaced because I have a 2017 Honda Accord and I have always received my oil change and maintenance services at the Honda dealership. Ashley told me to hold on and she spoke to her manager she said I dont know if we have that part and you can bring it in and we will look at it . I told her I would not be returning to that location and I would be putting my experience on social media, and getting legal advice. She laughed and said she would get someone to contact me. Very unprofessional!!!! It was funny to her but not to me and my handicap relative who had to experience this on Saturday in 97 degree weather.

Went for A simple oil change and got more than I expected. During a routine fluids check, a tech noticed pressure in one of my hoses. As the hose housing burst, they immediately accessed the problem, called for a new part, installed it at no extra cost. And got me on my way. Thank you Taron, T. So today I found the time to get my oil change so I decided to go to this location of Take5 to get my oil change, the experience blow my mind. 🤔🤔🤔🤯🤯🤯I feel like I was part of a race car team. They had one person under the truck letting the oil out, another removing the filter, 2 person one on each side doing the tire pressure check and then another having a real conversation with me and asking me if I would like a water 🤯.I purchased from advance auto my oil before I go there. All this amazing service was just for $20 USD 🙊🤔And I forget, they full my windshield washer bottle with washer.And they were communicating with each other, say race car stuff, like tire pressure check, lug nuts check, oil level check ✅, check this, check that ✅, and then to cement it all, they Direct me to leave like I was the world 🌎 number one race car driver... 🕺🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾🥇🏆🛻🍾🥂🤔🤯🤔🤯

Went in for an oil change and instead of taking advantage of me and allowing me to pay for an oil change I did not need yet. He told me my oil was still good and all I needed was a top off. I was shocked and asked him was he sure so he showed me my oil and showed me it wasnt dirty and insured me it was ok. I will continue to use them for both of my vehicles. #satisfiedcustomer

I want to tell everyone never ever take your car to Take 5 Oil Change. On April 12th I took my car to get a routine oil change. Everything checked out fine. No cracks, no leaks everything was great as noted on my receipt. On April 27 I started hearing slight knocking. Checked my oil it was low but had oil on the dipstick. I took it back to top it off. (They offer that service for free) I asked about the knocking and was told it was normal when the oil gets low. They topped me off checked my car again, no leaks, cracks oil is now at a safe clean level.I start driving and immediately feel something is wrong. Within 10 minutes I was broken down and the car wouldnt start, not even turn over. I towed my car to our mechanic. He calls me today. I knew something else was wrong. Turns out my engine has no oil in it. None. Take 5 did not put the recommended amount of oil in my car so my engine is now seized. If the oil change was done properly this would not have happened. My 2017 Hyundai Tucson should not need a new engine at 58,000 miles! They completely cropped the ball and I will NEVER return or recommend this establishment.

Very professional a huge worry was that my oil filter would be too tight as I’ve had to tow my car to Toyota in the past but they got it off no problem and was actually very speed by far better than the dealership

I went to take 5 this morning and they said they were unable to change my oil due to not having the correct torque bit to remove the drain plug. When I left they failed to put my oil cap back on causing my vehicle to run out of oil. I have tried to contact them about this but they have not answered their phone.

They were so kind and efficient. The young lady brought everyone waiting bottles of water. They communicated everything as they went along. They were fast, efficient and pretty good value. Highly recommend them for oil changes and such.

I came in for a basic oil change and they put nearly double the amount of oil that is required for my car. I’m not sure if they were so busy trying to do a “10 min “ oil change that they didn’t drain the old oil or if they just simply put too much. Whatever the case may be now my engine is completely ruined! When consulting with them about the issue they are extremely unprofessional. I came in to give them a professional business letter and an employee named Jah ( who claimed to be the manager) took the letter and began to let all the other 4 employees read it. I asked if they too were managers and he said no, he just wanted them to read it. How unprofessional could you be and this letter contained my personal information! Please please whatever you do I beg u learn from my experience and DO NOT take your car here for anything if you would like to continue to have a car.

Went for an oil change and got so much more! They had a coupon for 25% off for military which is why we went. But I was caught off guard by the amazing service! With an oil change that took maybe 10 minutes, they filled our tires with air and pushed our air filter back into place both for free. Was even offered a bottle of water for the road! They told us how to reset the maintenance required light manually. Alyssa was so knowledgeable and Lei was too. Hard working, honest and quick. Ill be getting my oil changed here from now on (:

Impressive! Very thorough service. My vehicle uses specific oil and I just needed somewhere to get it changed out. Tech gave me no issues with using my own oil and even showed me the level after she was done. I literally just got my oil done and it was GREAT. It’s nice to see women working in a place like this. There was also a wait but there was only 2 people working. With just 2 people they were getting things done. Alyssa(blonde hair not sure if I got the name right) did my oil. Literally took between 5-10 minutes. Not only that but she also was great to talk to. 5 stars!! and these women work HARD! Definitely will leave a tip next time.

Upset...my fiance went there about a month ago to get oil change and yesterday my car broke down and I was left stranded, come to find out there WAS NO OIL ON THE DIPSTICK, SO I JUST SPENT $600 TO GET MY CAR REPAIRED, and when I spoke with Asst mgr today was told was nothing could be done and that I shouldve bought my car their first, so they couldve topped off my oil and Im like yall dont even handle O2 sensors or fuel system stuff, I know the car doesnt have an oil leak and I read ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, BUT BEFORE I KNEW IT MY FIANCEE HAD TAKEN THE CAR THERE...SMH

Professional and friendly employees that are knowledgeable on any vehicle, this was a really great experience. You sit in your car the entire time while oil and air filters are changed out, fluids topped off and the air checked in all your tires. It’s like being on the racetrack and having your own pit crew they even wash your windshield before you leave! Excellent service at this place glad they built one here on Mercury I’ll not go anywhere else now.

I was told about this place from a friend. I went this morning and from start to finish the ladies were amazing!! This is definitely my new go-go spot. Very professional, quick and efficient!!

There was only one other there with two bays open and I still had to wait. I wasnt impressed at all. I needed a quick oil change and would rather wait to get into somewhere else than go back here. Staff did not seem very knowledgeable. They claimed my air filter case wasnt tightening down when no other places said anything and it was fine. I asked to be able to look at it myself and they allowed me to get out of the car. I could probably teach some chimpanzees to do the same job as these guys and get better results. I wouldnt take my car there for any other services, not even to have windshield wipers replaced.

I arrived right when it opened and only took 20 minutes! Teron was very professional, thorough, knowledgeable and kind! They check everything from your tire pressure, top off your fluids, and even cleans your windshield. With a 25% military discount it’s a very good deal. Would recommend!

Although the cost seems overpriced for an oil change, i think the service was good. alyssa and a man helped me each time i went. they were knowledgable and kind. sometimes the wait may be long at certain hours. i didnt take much advantage of the free top offs and replenish but it kind of made up for the price.

Last visit was disappointed. Way over inflated my tires. Only 2 people working so there was a good wait. Didnt top off my fluids and had to add 3/4 of a quart of oil before taking a trip out of town. Ive been here several times and for what they charge I doubt I will go back there. I can go across the street to the dealer and get it done right

I went in a couple months ago to get an oil change. Long story short when the job was done I noticed my car shifted harder than usual. I later came to find out the Assistant manager unplugged my Mass Airflow Since causing issues that impacted the functionality of my transmission. Things like this is what gets a company in legal trouble. Good job guys.
