This company is absolutely terrible do not buy windows here. Heres how:1) I met with their sales rep in October 2020. He told me theyd have the windows (2) installed by the second week of January 2021. When January rolled around I called because I had not yet received an installation date. The lady on the phone told me that the rep gave me the wrong information and my windows wouldnt be installed until the second week of March. She also told me a manager would contact me to discuss compensating me for the trouble... that never happened2) When my windows were installed both were the wrong size. Both windows were so short they had to add multiple 2x4s to the top to secure them in AND 1 window had a bow in the frame so large I could fit 2 quarters through the gap.3) Despite all of this I had been more than understanding with the office each time I called to get an update or find out why they hadnt called me back (approx 6-7 sperate calls Jan 2021-April 2021). Each time I was told Mike will call you tomorrow to no avail. When I finally spoke to Mike in April (because I called him) he told me hed call me back with the next steps the following day.... of course that did not happen.4) I finally called today and voiced a reasonable level of concern and rather than assist me the lady on the phone again gave me the run around AND tried to explain to me how I had to be understanding the companys situation.... SIX MONTHS after I ORDERED my windows!?This company does not run an honest shop which was made extremely evident to me when the lady on the phone so readily expressed her knowledge of the small claims legal procedures after telling her that would be my only option if they failed to replace my windows. The contractor that came to my house also told me these issues have been ongoing with this company.
The installation was a joke. Two times I tried them. Should have learned my lesson the first time. I won’t never refer them to NO windows are junk. And they say lifetime on screens. Well it’s only lifetime if they call you back and take them to the store. Was lied to about them coming out to fix for free
DO NOT use this company! Worst customer service EVER!!!!!!!ordered my egress window December of 2020, install scheduled for April 7th. Nobody called to confirm so I reached out only to get the run around and the first of several excuses. Rescheduled install for April 22 only to have them finally show up to tell me they didn’t measure properly and the window I bought (that they measured)is the wrong size and they can’t install because it’s not code! REALLY????? All I got was we will give your money back. What about the money I’ve lost not being at work because you screwed me twice? What about your employee searching me on fb and friend requesting me? Terribly unprofessional these guys are a JOKE! Save yourself a huge headache and go ANYWHERE else.
I have had Jacks Wholesale replace all windows in 2 homes over the years. They are the best! I am a extremely satisfied customer in every aspect of my experience with Jacks. Customer service is excellent, shout out to Mellisa! Service Technician Dave is awesome and very helpful. Top notch!

We purchased and installed Jack’s windows because of the lifetime guarantee.in 2005. Tgen in June of 2018, two of the seals on the windows broke so they came to assess and measure because we had a lifetime guarantee, however the company with a guarantee went out of business so they said they would install for free but I had to pay $150 for each window. Someone from the company came and measured and.I ordered both windows And paid upfront for the windows. I was promised the windows in a few weeks but it took four months for them to come and after several calls they finally came to install them only to find out one of the windows didn’t fit. He did only install one window. I was told to call corporate for a refund. however I never did receive the window or a refund.When I called they were very rude and I never received my window or a refund. Life got in the way and I let it go but now I decided to look back into it and I am still waiting to hear from someone hopefully someone from corporation will get back to me and resolve this issue three years later.
Those who want to tear down a companies reputation is sad, you can ruin them and put people out of work shame on you dont have anything nice to say like your mother always said dont say anything at all
If I could give 0 stars I would! This company DOES NOT stand behind the labor that their contract states! I had a door installed that I purchased that is only needing a minor adjustment to be corrected the door is perfectly fine and is not needing to be replaced it is the installation that is the issue and they absolutely will not stand behind their previous employee’s labor or business etiquette! The excuse I received is the the employee “Tim” was not following the guidelines he was supposed to and they fired him because of those reasons. That has absolutely nothing to do with me as a customer that spent over $800 on projects with this company! I even talked to Mike at the head office and sent pictures only to be ignored all over again! Debbie is also horrible when it comes to customer service after they get the money you can forget about quality, customer service, or any kind of ethics at all from this company!! Do yourself a favor and go with a company that has morals and values because Jack’s wholesale windows definitely DOES NOT have it!! I will be finding a better company to adjust the door and also having this sent to the BBB because the contract states that the labor has a warranty and they are not abiding by what it states!
I wish there was a way to give them zero stars. Do NOT do business with this company! We placed a large order for our school. We had a specific timeline for a large construction project. When the weeks passed and I called to verify our installation date, it turned out the order had never even been placed. We were patient and restructured our plans.Then they installed not one but TWO broken windows in a classroom. One window was visibly broken and sharp. When the teacher came in to set up her classroom in August she opened the window and it literally fell out on top of her and her two-year-old. They were shaken up but thank God they were only scraped up a bit and nothing worse. Getting the windows replaced was an absolute nightmare. Every week they told me our materials would be arriving the following week. This went on for months.They assured me our balance would be adjusted once the final window came in. It took a trip to speak to the owner and 6 months from the day we ordered to have all of the windows properly installed. Then they never sent a final bill. They tried calling to settle things over the phone. I let the salesman know I needed a paper invoice to generate a check and reminded him of the promise to adjust our bill. I received a threatening “final notice” where they deducted 2% off of our $12,000 total. The manager told me he had to work hard to get me that much, as the owner only wanted to discount it $50. He seemed to want me to feel grateful. Ridiculous!It has by far been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any company, from the salesman to the installation, product, billing department and even the owner.I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, even if it costs more money.
I leave one start because i have to but I wouldnt if they gave that option. Thank god I only had 2 windows that I ordered from them. I should have seen the reviews first before I purchased anything. I finally got my 2 windows after weeks of waiting and only to have one wrong. I call today hoping for a solution to this mistake that was made by them since I took pictures,measurements and even a diagram just for the lady to place me on a long hold and then come back and get smart with me about how its all sales final and I signed the contract. She starts getting upset because I called her out on her lies saying that everything was explained to me when she wasnt even in the room when I went to place the order. Needless to say Im stuck with a window that is trash and out of money for it. Ill be looking somewhere else to purchase the window again. Never will I step foot in this place and from all the reviews I have now seen. Looks like its a common problem with this place. Oh cherry on top, she then hangs up the phone on me.
I did buy 25 windows from Jacks Wholesale Windows after I check out all the windows company in my area. Jacks Wholesale Windows was the winner in quality and price. The installation process was very fast and clean. My wife loves the new windows. I will highly recommend them.
I am so insulted! I wanted them to quote my home for new windows and was told that they prefer to come out when both my husband and I are available. I agreed and unfortunately we all got the flu. I called back to reschedule the quote and let them know that my husband would not be available to be physically present for the quote, but that I was the decision maker on this project (although that is none of their business). I was told that she would need to talk to a manager to schedule a quote if my husband couldnt be there! I told her no, I was insulted by this policy and that I am no longer interested in a quote from them. How sexist and absurd! This is an outdated and truly disgusting policy. I will never work with them and I hope that no one else will either!
I would like to give this place NO Stars, but dont have the option. Im convinced, the positive reviews he has, are either family or friends. Im taking the time, to write this review, which I normally dont do, Because I really believe, this guy is a THIEF, and a LIAR, He will take your money, then give you EVERY excuse in the book, of why he hasnt installed window, everything from, wrong window was ordered, to not on the truck, to window is on back order. Two thumbs up for my salesperson Andy. I know in my heart he went the extra mile for me on my behalf and also my installer I really love these two young guys. They are the best. My salesman is the best I ever met in every way my installer also is the best I have ever met.
You be the judge...We had all new windows put in by this company the end of Oct 2016. In 2018 we noticed something covering the inside of 3 of the windows. Kept calling and getting put off, Finally someone told us it was a gas leak in the windows and although the company that they purchased the windows from went under Jack was still going to guarantee them. Service guy finally came out Jan 18 2019. Measured the windows and said they are backed up but should be here by March. Today April 9, 2019 I called to see the hold-up. Oh time has expired, We are no longer covered.
Overall pretty good experience. nice people in sales and installation, very friendly.window seems pretty decent, cant wait to try it out this winter in the cold. salesman said that id probably see 40 - 60% energy savings with 3 pane, well see if hes right.took the install crew an extra 1/2 day because they ran into trouble, but other than that all went well.
Rip off the triple pane windows I bought for the whole house are junk. After 1 year kitchen window leaked all the gas out leaving brown spots. I called them they ordered a new one came out after about 6 weeks later and replaced. Nice right. Next year another widow lost its gas. Figure Ill wait a year to see if another goes and one does. Call them up and they tell me my life time warranty is no longer good because the manufacturer went out of business. Now I have a house full of junk windows.
The windows look great, but the best part was the price. I had 4 companies come out from the GR Homeshow and Jacks was lower than all but one - it was within $100 - and they were selling triple instead of double pane with a much better warranty. I would recommend.
I read some of these complaints and thought I would write a good one. I have had no problem at all with Jacks. I used them on 3 of my homes and my family and neighbors used this company and always had good service

This is the worst place to get windows I got my 2fl windows done in 2007 the 1fl in 2009 both are the worst windows ever. I called to get the 2fl window repaired I was adv the lifetime warranty is no longer valid since the company they got the windows from is out of business they can come out for a service charge & a charge to fix the windows. The 1fl windows have never closed correctly there is a trick to close these brand new expensive windows that I was not adv of. I had to call them out to close the windows. The last time I called them to come out & close them I was adv I had to pay $35 per window I have 14 windows on the 1fl. Their solution was for me to get all new windows because the co they are getting window from now is the best co ever. They burned me twice I’m out a lot of money & have crappy windows. They claim menards windows are cheap in price & quality I told them their windows are expensive & cheap in quality. I took my screens to get fixed 6/4 & did not get them back until August do yourself a favor don’t but these windows unless you want the most expensive crappy windows
They were absolutely terrible the salesman lied about what the windows could do lied about when they would be there. It was an upsetting situation all the way around I give him an absolute to thumbs down
Worst company ever. Trick you into contract then do shabby work.and the lawyer they used was a snake and had a questionable reputation, I learned from other lawyers. The work was never completed, the windows leaked and were not installed properly. STAY AWAY from this place.
Overall really happy and glad we have new windows that we can see through. As well the installers did a really great hob, finished in only 2 days.
Look forward to installing more in the future. Appreciate your sign for advertisement in the front yard. The windows are beautiful.

Well the salesman was good. It was the install that we had problemd with. First they schedule a date for instsll and dont show up rescheduled for the next day they get almost done and the city shut the job down due to them not getting permits. Tell me they will be back the next day to finish and bring my 2 screens that where broken and again dont show up. Finaly the next day they finish but no screens. Started the process on Sept 4 now Sept 11 still no screens. I will never use Jscks again.
