I am on my third lease and am very happy living here. The maintenance is wonderful. They are here that evening or the first thing the next day. When I fell in the apartment one day, Buck was at the door and came in and got help right away and they got me up. I was OK and everything went smooth. The office personnel are great and answer any questions I have to help me. The noise above me is no problem. I love hearing little children playing.I hope my TV does not bother anyone. I have heard no complaints. My fellow renters in the building are great. When they have not seen me for a few days, they come to the apartment to check to see that I am ok. I plan staying here until I can not live along any more.
I just moved in yesterday. It has been a very awesome experience so far. Alicia in the office was great! Very helpful through the whole process. While I was moving in. Buck the head maintanence guy asked how it was going. I told him great, but the bedroom closet door didnt close all the way. He came right in and fixed it. Superb customer service. Happy to be here!
The maintenance department great. Called at 9:35 pm on a week night with a air condition leak. Came and fixed it that night. Came back the next day to make sure there was no other problems.
Apartment seems nice enough. Unfortunately I would not recommend this management company for anyone moving in from out of town, theyre unnecessarily and callously inflexible. Definitely not a great start, and doesnt bode well for the next year.Edit: an apology but no resolution was offered. Also i discovered a Bullet hole in the living room window.
Everything about this apartment has been wonderful except for the incredibly thin walls and the creaky floors. My husband and I signed a lease here back in September and we have been MISERABLE ever since. We listen to our neighbors television ALL day long and every time they walk, it sounds like they are going to come through our ceiling. We have addressed this with management, but there is nothing that they can do.This issue is a huge risk that you take when deciding to rent here. Once you sign a lease, there is no way out of it. I will never rent from another apartment after living at this complex. It has ruined the whole experience for me because I will never risk getting stuck in another lease and spending a fortune every month for a place that I am miserable in.You deserve to have peace in your own home, but that is not guaranteed here. Please consider this before renting here.
Had multiple bad experiences here. The only good thing was maintenance.
One word: MISERY.I suggest only renting here if you get a top floor. I constantly hear our bottom neighbor’s TV (so much that i can make out the words the actors are saying) and I constantly hear our upstairs neighbors footsteps/stomping, closing of cabinets and doors, creaking, etc. It often feels as if they will fall straight through the ceiling, especially when their child is playing. This is when my tv is on and i am going about my day - not like I am sitting in silence / actively trying to listen. I have bought 3 noise machines, 1 fan, and I keep the bathroom fan running constantly to drown out the noise - no help.I have no peace in my own home which i am paying over $1,000/mo for (not including internet/cable/electric, etc). Management cannot do anything about cheap/thin walls and floors, so I am stuck in misery for my entire lease. If you do not plan on being in the apartment much throughout the day, you will be fine. However, if you plan on being in the apartment in mornings/afternoons/evenings or for a significant part of your day, I would expect constant noise from surrounding renters.I have lived in 5 complexes across 3 different states, and this is the worst experience I have ever had. I have never wrote a negative review on anything prior to this post; I am posting this because I wish I’d seen a similar review prior to signing a lease.Unfortunately, I am only halfway through the lease. I am now looking for a house to buy because a monthly mortgage is extremely comparable to the rent here. If my stay miraculously changes, I will update this review accordingly. However, I unfortunately see no end in sight. I’m beyond miserable and I’m paying a lot to be.
Maintenance Team was very responsive. I have only lived here for a few months and I have been very pleased thus far with the community and with Parkview Place Team.
Awesome service.
I have lived in several states in the U.S. and several cities in the State of Maryland and have never been happier with the leasing office that I currently have. Parkview Place apartments is a great place to live and I truly enjoy the professional attitude of the staff. If you are looking for a great place to live come join me and experience my unknown oasis in Hagerstown.
Staff is very unprofessional and don’t care about the tenants that live in the apartment. Refuse to give us a new or fix our stove that is very outdated, the area is horrible I lived at the building by Washington garden apartment, the people over there will be making noises yelling, fighting, Playing loud music all through the night and the cops won’t do anything .
Everything is great! Maintenance is real quick! Alicia was amazing with helping us.
Nice apartment inside, however our house always smells like marijuana from people smoking it, and the apartment complex isn’t trying very hard to solve the problem. The smell has stank up my sons room so bad and they aren’t bothered to fix the issue at all. If you have kids don’t move here, because someone will complain that they are too loud EVEN A BABY, and the apartment manager will not renew your lease on behalf of someone else beliefs that is going on in your home. They’ll tell you to take your children to the park to let out there energy but the only park they had here, they have torn down. Save yourself some money and don’t move here.
Ive been a resident of Parkview Place Apartments in Hagerstown Maryland for several years now and place high value on maintaining my resident status here because of the outstanding job management and maintenance staff does to ensure this is truly home for myself and family.Management staff has undergone a change as of late and still the quality provided to residents has not wavered during the transition. As a former landlord, I take note to things most renters may not notice, such as: landscaping changes, signage, the approachable aspect (or lack thereof) of the management staff members, timely response to maintenance requests, and cleanliness of common areas. To address the above-mentioned things of note: over the course of several years living here, we have witnessed many landscape changes. This allows for a sense of pride for residents because of how well-kept things are around the grounds. Maintenance staff members can be seen daily picking up anything misplaced and actively checking common external areas for safety concerns and continuously taking actions to provide a beautiful and safe place to call home.Secondly, signage. Office staff members are faithful with posting schedule changes to inform not just current residents but perhaps future residents of why no one is in the office and they go above and beyond to explain why staff members are not available. This shows me, they genuinely care that one may need them and with that, it brings me to my next point. I have yet to submit a request for maintenance and not had it taken care of within 24-48 hours. Maintenance staff members have been in my apartment after hours due to an emergency water situation with the sprinkler system. Their response time was outstanding. Even after hours, maintenance staff presented themselves in a professional way and took care of the problem.I have been a renter off and on during my adulthood and haven’t always had maintenance staff I trusted to be in my place of residence without me home. However, at Parkview Place Apartments, I deeply trust the maintenance staff and never bat an eye with them in my home. As a woman, this is important. They ensure whenever someone else needs to be present – such as pest control, they are too. When work does need done, staff takes time to clean up afterwards even. We consider the maintenance staff members a part of our family because we interact with them somehow, almost every day; whether it’s a door held open or a simple hello.Lastly, cleanliness of common areas. We all can ensure our own apartment are clean but something I found truly enjoyable about living here, someone comes in weekly to clean the common areas. These folks are some of the nicest individuals I’ve had the opportunity to interact with. They hold doors, wish you a good day, will stop working so you can get by…how they act directly reflects our community – I believe and also the staff who hired them. I have also personally witnessed management cleaning common areas (sweeping salt or leaves).Overall, we love living here and will call it home for as long as our lives need to. I cannot compliment the management and maintenance staff highly enough. From the kind spirited management staff to the trustworthy maintenance personnel, Parkview Place Apartments is a fantastic place to call home.
Maintenance has been very responsive.
I was at Parkview place from 2003-2010. Very nice place to live and everyone was nice. Maintenance was there right away if you had a problem.
Very overpriced for space. Could honestly afford to rent an entire house for price. Management is rude and stops in without required 24 hrs notice.
Very professional
