Joe got me in at the last minute today, Friday afternoon. She gave the best looking haircut Ive had in years. Shaved my neck and around my ears with a straight razor. Gave me the hot towel treatment. Great haircut at a great price. Ive found my new barbershop in Gresham. Highly recommend.

First time sitting in Joes chair the other day, and what a wonderful experience! Wife has been doing the cutting for the past many years, but I was getting shaggy and our schedules were just not aligning. So, off to Joes I go. Dont tell my wife, but I think she lost my business to this fantastic little establishment!!!

First time in yesterday and it instantly felt like I was at home, and for once I was absolutely satisfied with my beard trim and style. The Gentleman whom cut my hair was a consummate professional and even educated me on beard care techniques, and when we chatted it was real and genuine like having a beer and catching up with a dear friend. The owner Jo is a sweetheart whos conversation and laughter fill the air as she chats with a regular while an album made by a customer covering some Elvis hits plays in the background. The name says it all, this place is a throwback to a better simpler time but I hope it doesnt ever vanish!

Never have a wait if more than a few minutes, even as a walk-in. No complaints about cuts and pricing is good.

If you are looking for the best barbershop experience in Gresham, let alone the greater Portland area, you need to come here and see Joe. She always does a fantastic job cutting my hair and trimming my beard better than any barber I have visited in my 32 years of living here in Oregon. On top of being great at what She does (excellent attention to detail), Shes also a humorous and wonderful person. I ALWAYS look forward to catching up with Joe and looking/feeling a million times better when I leave.This place is a gem! Dont hesitate to book an appointment with Joe. Joe Ann is amazing! She saved my teenaged son from more embarrassment. He has dry hair but suffers from absolutely horrible dandruff. Nothing we were trying had worked including a free trial (prescription) from a dermatologist. She was adamant that Nioxin would work. We came back to purchase it and after 4 uses he barely had any dandruff at all. I dont have dandruff but during the winter my scalp gets dry. I tried it as well and loved it. Its a bit spendy but a little bit goes a LONG way! Thank you Joe Ann

She executed an amazing fade, which is impressive considering we went from a 2 to a 0, no weird lines! Very precise and quick with the use of a barbers razor; she pays attention to the very fine details of facial hair and neck line hair. She finished the haircut with a moist heat towel scalp massage, after shave, powder brush, and some conditioner to keep my hair shiny! I will be back!

Classic, 70s-style, single-chair barber shop run by an friendly older man who has been cutting hair for over 50 years. Hell give you a fast, professional cut, and as a bonus, he has a lot of sound wisdom to share.One thing to remember: He only accepts cash and check. I didnt realize this, and was forced to underpay him, but he was nice enough to let me pay him later without even taking down my name! Great guy.Highly recommended!

I have been going to Rudys in downtown Portland for over 2 years. I finally decided to try somewhere new and after reading the reviews for Joes I decided to give her a try and am I ever happy I did!! The shop has an extremely warm and pleasant atmosphere to it and I received the best haircut I have gotten in the last few years. I wish I would’ve known of her sooner!! When asked for a fade the female worker didnt do a fade, just shaved all to one length expect the tuft of hair thats probably an inch longer than the rest. My friend wore hats to cover his hair cut because he did not like it.
