Best barbershop in Portland/metro. Owner Reuben is such a radical human being and incredible barber. Traditional shop from the original Koken barber chairs to the antique decor and straight razor shaves. As a former shop owner and barber I am blown away by this place. So worth the visit!

Best ever! This is by far the best I have ever experienced. I am 46 years old. Brass eagle is a place for all ages. Trust me when you go there you will never go anywhere else. Love this family of cuts

Such a nice barbershop! Zulay, took very good care of my son and taught him little bits of history around the shop. She treated my 7 year old, just like he was one of the grown men customers! Very welcoming shop!

Zulay is the most amazing barber I have ever been to! She makes it so comfortable and easy to talk to. My hair always comes out perfect and I would never go elsewhere! Highly suggest checking them out all the barbers here are amazing!

Alex is amazing! I have been seeing him since before he started here but must say that the atmosphere is great the music fun and the chairs amazing! They offer childrens cuts and can meet the young teen needs too. They cater to the age here across the board! Love this place!!!

First and last time coming to this place. I walked in yesterday to get a hair cut and to say the least after I left and came home and looked in the mirror again I was horrified my hair cut was uneven. One side of my hair was almost shaved completely while the other had much more hair. I am a simple guy so how hard was it to see the mess that the barber created on my head that doesnt have much hair as it is.

Great people! My boyfriend need a haircut and they fit him in. They asked more the just what did you want?. They asked what kind and how short. They want to make sure you get the cut you want. Zulay was awesome! Took her time and did amazing job.

I can’t say that I’ve ever had a 4+ star experience turn into a 1 star experience before. At least not so quickly as I did today; I made an appointment and went in a few Thursdays ago to get a haircut from one of the barbers there. Credit where credit is due, he gave a great haircut and they charged a fair price. Enough so that, at the end of the appointment, I said that I’d like to make an appointment for “three Thursdays from now, at the exact same time”. The gentleman looked through his appointment book and asked if I’d meant the 27th, and I said “Yeah, same time, 5:00, so I can make it here from work”. Not a problem he says and pencils me in. The barber across the way even commented on the exactness of the time/date. So far, so good. But then when I get there tonight, anticipating the same thing as before, he tells me that my appointment had been set for 3:00. I tried to explain that there had to be a mistake because I couldn’t have made it for 3:00 as I’m at work. To which he says “you set it for 3:00, man”, and goes back to cutting someone’s hair. Now, I get that mistakes happen, and I would’ve been absolutely fine if he at the very least tried to schedule me another appointment for a different day, but to be just absolutely dismissed like that? Without another word? That’s just a bit too much. As I said earlier, I won’t knock their quality, but I can’t imagine wanting to ever recommend them due to the unfortunate lack of customer service.

I cannot recommend this establishment enough. Teezy knows what he is doing and help me take my gift of a glorious beard, and sculpt it into a majestic face decoration. He was kind, courteous, professional, hilarious, knowledgeable, and punctual.You will not regret letting this man near your face. He is a delight.Im sure the other barbers are great too.
