The most beautiful and meticulous salon I have ever been to and every time I go there I am so impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail, and of course, SKILL! Today I got my hair cut by Autumn, and she went above and beyond. First we discussed what she would do, and I was so impressed by her knowledge of hair styling and what would work for my face shape, and then she skillfully carried that out. Wowwwww okay where do I begin?? The best hair experience of my life! I wanted my hair a bit lighter but Ive never dyed or highlighted my hair before and I was a bit nervous to do so. Ariel and I talked about what would be best for my hair and she really executed it perfectly! She lightened it just a bit so it was still very natural but still gave me those subtle highlights I was wanting. She took her time and was very attentive, and I was so happy with how it came out! It added a ton more dimension and depth to my hair, which was previously just flat and feeling a bit dull. It was the perfect hair makeover. She really listened to me and kept what I loved about my hair, but improved it in a way no hair artist I have ever been to has. She used the salons own Be Chic line (shampoo, conditioner, hair mask) which made my hair feel smoother and bouncier than ever and smelled so good! Also its all plant based and environmentally-friendly which is really important to me!! Thank you Ariel!!Also, if you are looking to get your brows done (or any waxing/threading), I would highly recommend Jessica, their brow artist. She has done my brows and is the absolute best - I would not let anyone else touch my brows but her! She knows exactly how to shape your brows based on your face shape, eye shape, and orbital bone (I didnt even know what that was or why it was important until she told me!). Shes the absolute best and the cherry on top of my amazing experience with Becker Chicaiza!!

Just moved from NYC and was in search for a local colorist. I was blown away with my color and cut. The service is outstanding and the cappuccino is delicious. Becker gave me the best color and Autumn cut my hair to perfection!

Looking on google this place looked like it was going to be great, it had such great reviews but from the moment I sat down and said what I wanted, my requests were shut down. I understand not everything works with every hair type BUTTT it would be helpful if Becker actually listened to what I had wanted instead of doing what he wanted on my hair! He told me I needed a balayage and the main thing I asked for was for it to be super natural and not near the door so it could grow out nicely. After he told me this, he said he could do a balayage and as he was working on my hair he was working on multiple other people. As he left me under the heat for too long, my hair turned wayyy blonder then it was supposed to be. He also is extremely aggressive with your hair. The lady that cut my hair even had a confused face as she looked through the horrible coloring. He clearly only cares about money and popularity on social media and not about what the client actually wants. The final result was so bad I had to go get it fixed the next day at a different salon. The haircut was also very crooked. The whole place was pretty much a scam and wayyy to expensive for what I got. Just look at the photos it is terrible.

I’ve Been a client of Jessica’s for many years and I won’t see anyone else. She does amazing threading and tinting for eyebrows. Even if you aren’t sure what shape or color do you want your eyebrows to be, she is very knowledgeable and helpful and can provide suggestions. Becker salon is very clean and chic and the whole staff is amazing. Highly recommend Jessica and Becker Salon.

I don’t know why Becker had such good reviews. 1st of all its way over priced. 2nd he put layers in my hair and they look absolutely horrible, i asked for long layers and i have the opposite. It looks choppy and dead, why does he do this to people!! I have literal lines in my hair of layers

Becker Salon is an oasis and a gem in Greenwich where Zim, the manager, Becker the master/artist and, last but not least, my all time favorite hair stylist Autumn always make one feel welcome and relaxed the minute you arrive. I have known Autumn for over 4 years for BlowDry and now, under Becker’s fine training, she now gives beautiful haircuts as well as BlowDry. Becker just gave me great body perm just week. Jessica is by far the absolute best person to entrust with your brows. She is always able to make my eyebrows look exactly how I want them, if not even better. I was so happy to have finally found someone who understood what I meant when I asked for fuller brows after moving back to the east coast a few years ago. You definitely don’t need to be afraid that she will take off more hair than you asked for which has sadly happened to me in the past with other people. I tend to like fuller brows, but I have seen other brow shapes that she has done, and they all look amazing.You definitely won’t regret going to Jessica at Becker Chicaiza’s salon.

Ive been to Becker Chicaiza a couple of times now, and I simply cannot go anywhere else. The color was EXACTLY what Id asked for (to no avail elsewhere). I received more compliments on my hair in the several months following my appointment with Becker, than I had in YEARS. Second, it has grown out beautifully. I havent been to the salon since November, yet my usually split ends are still closed, and my hair looks thicker and fuller. Another plus is that my curls are back! My hair is typically so frizzy and frazzled I cannot wear my hair curly. I walked out of the shower the other day and noticed the curls were curls, not frizz. That is due to the products being used on my hair, AND the superior cut. I waited a bit to leave this review since I havent had much luck with hair salons in the past. But this is well-deserved. Becker does his best to make you look and feel fabulous, and he DELIVERS. Zimm is a doll, and an absolute pleasure to be in the company of. The rest of the staff are welcoming and professional. Extreme care and love taken to give the ultimate chicaiza look!

Accidentally pink highlights; bleached to correct.Ive been to Becker several times and he knows my hair preferences: keep it healthy and natural-looking. One week before my 40th birthday, he accidentally gave me bright pink highlights (we were aiming for subdued medium reddish-brown lowlights that accent my natural color). He used a new color and not our agreed-upon Wella formula. It turned bright pink. He never once said he made a mistake and instead said I love it. Dont you love it? about 100 times. To correct it, he bleached my hair twice then a glaze to make it appear darker. These photos are AFTER the corrections. He not only tried to charge me full-price for the color, the 5-minute hair cut, but also the glaze to correct. I went to another salon 3 times to bring me back to a medium brown. My hair is much less healthy now. The entire experience was awful, especially the Dont you love it? (no, clearly I dont!).

I look forward to my appointments where I receive the most fantastic cut, color, and style. And best of all, I know I can always depend on walking out of Becker Chicaiza’s salon feeling and looking my best.

Ive heard all the great thing about Becker for years. My best girl is there all the time. I see her excitement building as she goes off to Becker and see how she glows when she returns. I had to experience for myself, so i stopped in for a mans cut. The staff was fantastic!! They certainly know how to hire the best. Loved my cut. Got so many compliments. Im now hooked. I recommend Becker to everyone now. My only place for my haircuts. Go check them out. It only takes one visit to become a fan.

I’m regrettably leaving a review after visiting this salon this past September. I was new to the area and searching for a colorist to avoid going into the city for my hair. While booking and greeting at reception was lovely, when I arrived I found that my stylist was not available and I would be seeing Becker. This situation seemed a little convenient as I was a new client but I went with it. I’ve always liked very light, icy blonde highlights. After relaying this to Becker he assured me that he understood and started working on my highlights. What I ended up with was closer to a single process look, and much more golden than I prefer. Not at all what I had asked for. And to make it worse, it’s going to take years before it fully grows out of my long hair. I am now stuck with hair that looks like a mess and no good way of fixing it. I’m highly disappointed and frustrated with my service and the lack of interest in actually listening to the client. I was very clear with what I wanted and Becker simply ignored my requests. I would not recommend this salon. Overpriced and arrogant.Update:After posting, I received a call from the salon to try and fix the issue. We had a friendly and professional conversation. They offered to try and fix my hair free of charge - which I very much appreciate. I declined as I don’t have faith in their ability to do so. And secondly, I was offered a refund on my color if I removed my review. I also declined this offer as I don’t think it’s fair and it defeats the purpose entirely. I’m not trying to bash the salon but simply write an honest review of my experience.

I came to Becker to get a gel manicure after work after seeing great reviews. Since it was my first visit the staff gave me a little tour of the salon and everything was clean, well maintained and modernly decorated. Loved how light and bright the space is and enjoyed the art! Rosa got me right in and did a fabulous job on my nails. She removed my previous gel in one perfect swoop using little foils and remover for each finger - no damaging scraping. The color selection was great - wide range of options. Rosa was very personable to talk to - seems she has many regular customers and I can understand why. Nails turned out perfectly shiny. Will definitely come back.

I tend to be a more conservative person in respect to my hair styling and am always leery about changing salons, but he made my first appointment and every appointment thereafter easy because each cut and color have been pure perfection!He is a warm, generous and loving person, which makes the experience even more enjoyable, and he never hesitates to go out of his way to be flexible and accommodating to his clients needs and schedule. I trust him implicitly and am certain that anyone who goes to his salon becomes a client for life!

Great salon experience! Excellent customer service, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Becker knows exactly what suits your frame and complexion. Carolina did my color and blow out - she was amazing, funny and friendly - gives the best head massage (ive never had one to begin with, so that was certainly a great surprise). Once you try them, you will NEVER look for another salon :)

Becker Salon is the best salon you will find in Connecticut! Becker is one of the sweetest, most talented people ive ever met. I came the first time for prom and did my first balayage, and he created art out of my hair. Becker creates what you ask for and better, highly recommend! The service is amazing, they have the cutest Cappuccinos and one of the most aesthetic salons ive seen. Becker also knows how to color curly hair, he did a beautiful color on my hair which was to literally die for. He recently came out with his own line of hair products and it is beyond words, youll have to try it out yourself!

When I arrived to this salon the front desk person was very welcoming. The friendliness and the competence of this team makes the difference between Becker and other salons.

Finally I dont have to go into NYC for my color! I originally went to Becker to correct a color from another Greenwich salon (the third one Id tried) and was hooked after that. He does balayage on my hair, and everyone else still uses those foils that cook my weak hair. Its amazing how having nice color puts a pep in my step.
