A regular mens haircut in Greenwich is going to range from $35 to easily over $100. Ive been to several high-end barbers in the area and am less than impressed with the service and quality for the price point.I typically prefer a full-service barbershop, but services amid the pandemic are limited no matter where you go.... So if you need a quick, no-frills, barber thats easily available on short notice then Id definitely encourage anyone to check out Classic Barber.

Clean well organized shop. Very rarely a wait to get in. Professional guys no matter who cuts your hair. Low turnover - always the same barbers there ready to help you. If you want a cappuccino, Sabuca or a beer all you have to do is ask.Only quirky thing is cash only.Id recommend this shop to anyone. Ive been going for years.

Go see JR at Classic. Hands down best barber Ive ever been to. Super swanky vibe and feel to the shop. Worth every penny.And they got free espresso!

My two year old son and I had a less than pleasent experience. We walked in and a gentleman said he would cut my hair and then my sons. He finished my hair and told me he had an appointment and would not cut my sons. We then waited for another barber to finish on a child. After he was done working with the child I asked him to cut my sons hair. He said he had an appointment. I understood and waited. Another customer came in and announced to the receptionist that he was a walk-in. As the 2nd barber finished up his appointment with his scheduled client he took the walk-in before my son. At that point we had been there for well over an hour and had to leave. I will not go back.

Friendly family owned business. Walkins are welcome. Reasonably priced. The warm towel after ones haircut is a nice touch.

Terrible barbershop. If youre interested in social hour and haircuts that are way too expensive then this is your place. Be prepared to wait forever for barbers who cut very slowly, talk 90% of the time and look like they just want you to leave so they dont have to get to you. Nothing I dislike more than average barbers setting up in wealthy areas so that they could charge a lot for average cuts.

They didn’t ask me if I like my hair cut. Not sure if all the barbers there are bad but John a young guy doesn’t take pride of his work.

I have been going to Tony at Classic Barbers for years. Always consistent and knows my hair. When I want to try something different or hip, he is always right on style. He is the only barber I will use.

A great, small town barber shop in a wonderful upscale environment. Just down the hill on Greenwich Ave from the Apple store.

Easy stop for a trim (if you can find parking). Recently expanded with space for washes and coloring.

Beware of this place, if you are a customer, they can and will make you wait for 10, 15 minutes if they are finishing up with another customer (even though you made an appointment). But they themselves wont wait around the once or twice you may run late. I have been going to them for more than a year, am pretty much on time almost always but was running 13 minutes late when I arrived at the shop on 12/23/15. They took on a kid (who probably walked in w/o an appointment) and then said they wont take me until 1/2 hour more (after the kid they would do another appointment and then me). Soooo, lets see, I am a regular customer, pays higher than most because I get more done, am friendly with the barber, am 5 or so minutes late at best (that too because parking on the avenue is a headache), I have waited 15 minutes or longer many times, but the one time I am 13 minutes late, they wont take me because they probably took on a walk in kid (who probably pays them a lot less than me and perhaps wont be as regular as I am). Lifetime value of me as a customer lost FAR GREATER than the revenue they might have gotten from the one possibly irregular customer. Simple math and economics, treating the customer well - all that lost in one day. Plus parking is almost always a nightmare around here anyway. They are busy and they think they can afford my loss by ill treating me but as I show above, foolish thinking. I will find another barber shop who does as well, parking wont be a headache and thats that.
