Got to love a company that does not send out invoices or attempts to make phone call concerning past due accounts. Would have paid if we knew we owed. What a way to run a business! First time it happened I thought simple mistake. Second time it happened when I called I was told it was not just me who did not get invoice. Way to go Tri County! I would not recommend y’all to anyone!
Great Service! The guys are awesome! I recommend to everyone I know!
My in-laws live down the street and use this same trash service. Sign up was easy, got the trash cans in a reasonable time, and out of the years weve had them, weve never had an issue. Got a letter when it was time for renewal. Our trash cans have NOT been thrown in the road ever, NOR has there been trash littered all over the road from them, unlike my former city service in a different city. I do wish they had recycling though, Id definitely utilize the service from them if they ever offer it.
I have paid ahead of time 1-2 quarters each time I have paid them, and yet they claim to have not received payment when those quarters roll around. This has happened 4-5 times now, despite me having evidence of them depositing the checks on my bank account. They are currently saying I owe them $250, despite me sending them a check for 3 quarters (at about $85 ea) in Dec/Jan.Extremely sketchy; steer clear!
I signed up for service paid with my credit card and I guess they never ran it but then they accused me of trying to get service without paying and said prove you paid. They messed up but take no responsibility. I have no problem paying for service rendered but am amazed that they didnt even call just left the trash on the curb. She was rude and crazy in her logic.
Our former disposal company went in to decline over several years. Im not sure why I put up with it for so long, other than its just hard to find a rural trash pickup service that isnt obscenely expensive.I bumped into Tri-Countrys owner one day about three years ago while they were picking up on our road. We signed up with them to start as soon as our current 3 month pre-paid period was up. I wish I had not waited that extra month because Tri-Country has delivered as expected ever since. The quarterly price is reasonable, as is the cost for special pickups. I dont remember a single missed pickup day that wasnt my fault for forgetting to get the trash to the curb. Further, It may show how far my expectations with the previous company, but I especially like that they answer the phone when I call. I dont even have to wait for a call back, which was an infinitely prolonged wait with the previous company.Regarding the complaint I read about them not picking up unbagged trash, its very plainly stated in the agreement you make with them that they only pick up bagged trash. As far as Ive seen, they empty the cans by hand. There would be no way around raising the prices if they were to pick up your unbagged trash. Even worse, unbagged trash in the Texas wind is bound to send your garbage into your neighbors yards, at least occasionally. Thats just plain irresponsible.
Reasonable rates and reliable service. Just moved to the country and these guys are way better than the city service we had.
Do not throw away all trash in can. Lazy guys who do not empy container. They just reach in can a take out bags. If not in bags they do not thow it in truck.
Keep looking for a disposal company. The lady that answers the phone is very rude & not helpful. They don’t return our calls, they came up with bizarre reason after bizarre reason not to dump our dumpster. Since they refused to do it we have asked if they could make 2 trips in 1 week (since our dumpster is so full) and we said we’d pay extra, nope! They aren’t going out there. So.... we have to make sure we are present & watching when they come to dump the trash just in case they come up with another reason not to do it. Long story short... not worth your time or money!
