Went there for my first time rock climbing and had a blast! It can be a little intimating because it was very busy and we went on a Monday. Other than that it’s a lot of fun and helpful watching everyone. A couple people were even friendly enough to give us first timers some advise, my boyfriend and I will be back!
It was an awesome experience. Bring your own shoes tho because you have to pay to rent theirs and their shoes are super painful to wear if you have wide feet
Such an awesome place. It was our first time climbing and we had a blast. My daughter loved it.
Website is a bit misleading, not even close to one the largest bouldering areas in the southeast.Decent to scratch the climbing itch, but not sure I could make it my main gym, even with it being so convenient for me (5 min drive from my office). Would not recommend for new people to climbing, all the bouldering problems are set very difficult, which is fun for a somewhat experienced climber, but 0 fun for someone new.Staff was great though and the gym wasnt crowded at all so that is a plus.
This place is awesome to train, and learn. The staff are very laid-back, yet professional at the same time. I really enjoy having it so close to home Im Greensboro . I can Boulder, Sportclimb, or top rope so that is nice.
All around an amazing place, the climbing was great for beginners and advanced climbers. Everyone was so encouraging and helpful and even took the time to show us how to tie knots multiple times, I highly recommend this place :)
Good climbing gym. Old school routesetting using colored tape holds. Its a little hard to follow if youre used to all the holds being the same color. Generally the route setting is kind of hard for the grades but this is a good thing. Chalk was out of stock so be sure to bring your own.
Fun and CHALLENGING experience! The place is obviously cavernous as well as exciting. The staff were so cordial and helpful, especially with the belay training. Then youre on your own! Climbing is tough, and if youre not fit or havent been to the gym in a while, Im letting you know youre up for a mean climb. Too, it can be a little scary on the wall, and you really learn to appreciate the skill and all the professionals. Its definitely worth a try. The climbing entrance is in the back of the building.
ITS OK.. NOTHING TO START ON FOR BEGINNERS OR TO REFRESH SKILLS.. HELP IS FRIENDLY BUT NO ASSISTANCE/BELAY UNLESS YOU PAY.. IM LOOKING FOR BETTER ACCOMODATIONS..
Awesome climbing gym with good staff but I was glad to see a lot of reviews saying the grades seemed harder than advertised, my ego couldnt take the hit.
Grades are a bit tougher ranked, but great bouldering area and climbing routes! I also needed tape at one point and one of the staff was kind enough to share some. Good vibes here!
Great place to train for bouldering outdoors. Even with limited space, the route-setting is better than most gyms Ive been to. Theres a moonboard for high-intensity training, autobelays for ARC, a speedwall, and plenty of ropes to work on. The holds are also nice on your skin, so you dont get torn up before going outside.
Nice staff, interesting mix of challenging routes.
Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable
A good local climbing gym. Bouldering, top rope climbing and sport lead climbing are offered.
Drove an hour and a half away with my boyfriend because the rock gym near us hasn’t opened back up yet. On their website it clearly states that Saturday the member hours are from noon-2pm and the regular hours to get a day pass we’re from 2pm-9pm. We drove here expecting to just get a day pass and when we got to the door the gentleman that was working said we could only get memberships or “punch passes” and they weren’t doing day passes anymore. We weren’t interested in either of this options because we were just trying to go for a few hours as a date and we wouldn’t be going regularly. Nowhere on their website did it state that they weren’t doing day passes. We wasted a whole afternoon driving to and from this place and couldn’t even enjoy it without shelling out $200 each for passes we wouldn’t use. They need to update their website so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
Fun place to climb. Kids like it too!
So much fun! Very pleasant staff.
Super fun, really cool and helpful staff, awesome experience!
We love the environment inside and staff is super cool and helpful
Great place for gymnastics and training!!
Affordable rates and friendly staff. They’ve recently installed a moon wall and it’s amazing. Good bouldering problems and really good for lead climbers.
I like these jum
This is a older climbing gym. The facility needs updating: it has short walls, older holds and the mats are pretty beat. The staff are great though and are very friendly and helpful. They recently installed a hangboard and pull-up bar, which are great. Newer holds, replacing the pads and a faster paced resetting schedule would go a long way to improving.
The gym is fine but definitely dated. There are very few easy climbs set, so warming up was pretty difficult. The routes were really interesting and creative
A very cool place to go if you love rock climbing or just want to try something new. Reasonable pricing, and discounts for college students. Lots of different walls for different skill levels, usually not too busy.
I want to start by saying that this place is a hidden treasure. We never even knew of this place until we saw it on Groupon. Then we were invited to a birthday party that was taking place here and it was great. I later bought a Groupon and took 2 of my boys. We all ended up having a blast. The staff that was working the Friday afternoon were exceptional. They were polite to the kids, very knowledgeable, and thorough with the training. I would recommend people of all ages to try this place out. The professionalism of the staff and decent price point has landed a spot on our go-to list of fun things to do.
This place is really cool. It has some great climbing options. Looking forward to the next time I can return
Great prices. Quality climbing walls. Much bigger than it looks. Very helpful employees as well.
I have been climbing here for years and I think the place is in better shape than it ever has been.
Awesome climbing gym! Safe, fun, and theyre always changing the routes to keep it interesting. Perfect for beginners or advanced climbers!
I will definitely be going back. Must experience this place to understand why
OK place but they dont tell you about all the little rules and stuff before hand. My daughter and her friend went for an all-day thing only to find out an hour in that we (parents) had to be present for them to progress in their training and could only climb two small walls.
So much fun, great atmosphere, very knowledgeable and helpful stuff, very affordable, and did I say it was so much fun?
I had a really fun time. Lots of routes to take, cheap student rates, and offers belayer training. Many different skill levels supported.
This gym has a huge facility with regular walls as well as bouldering walls. This stuff is incredible and very friendly. Great rates for students and locals.
The staff was nice and informative, to us N00Bs. We were informed of the climbing protocols and were on our way to climbing walls. They had quite a few paths to climb and even though it was busy there wasnt much of a wait to climb.
Hosted my 6-year-olds birthday here. They had a blast! The staff was very patient.
My daughter loves learning to rock climb here
Amazing staff and great walls and and bouldering room. Does anybody know what rate the crux is
We were very excited to use this climbing gym for the first time. I put in a reservation through the website weeks ahead of time. I received an email that said Your booking is confirmed with the date and the amount that was due on the day. When I showed up to climb, the instructor there told me that they dont do reservations (despite there being an online reservation system and another group who clearly had reserved time for a large group). He said You should have gotten an email confirmation. I showed him the email and he said, Yea that doesnt count. You were supposed to call in to confirm the appointment and pay a deposit. Now, the email said nothing about having to call in and said nothing about a deposit being required, nor did it say any further steps needed to be taken whatsoever. Essentially, there is no point to using the online group reservation system and, if you do, remember to call to confirm the confirmation you receive in your email.
This is a well used place. Youll meet nice, fit people here.
Went here with my wife on my birthday. We are beginner climbers and we had alot of fun. We were able to rent all of the equipment there and get trained on the belying by the staff. We stayed as long as our strength held out. There were begginers all the way up to experts there and we all seemed challenged. There was also a ninja warrior gym upstairs that was a seperate price but great place if you are in to that stuff.
It’s so welcoming and the staff is very helpful and fun.
Awesome experience. Great instructors.
Knowledgable staff, and great climbing walls!
Family had lots of fun climbing
Lots of safe fun.
The dude working the register (2/9) was useless, could care less about being at work, and all around total customer service failure.
