Very clean love that the bathrooms had a changing table/ family room. Perfect for big events. Dont let the outside fool you its very nice inside. They have different sizes ballrooms and one with a remodeled stage. Lots of weddings and quinceañeras are celebrated here.

I do not recommend this place, i paid $4400 for no reason, i paid my event in full back in 2019I did not get a event and when I asked to reschedule my event, they wanted to charge me $2400 more. I paid thousands for nothing LITERALLYI wish I could just get my refund! After my contract was broken. They took $4400 from me without NO benefit. When I tried calling no answer, in no way they tired helping me. Very disappointed. Beware of this scam of place!!!!

Me and my wife both loved the service provided by Meridian convention center. We rented love chair for our reception and it was very nice. They were flexible with any of the payment method. Price was also cheap compared to other rental in town. So friendly staffs. Security refund was done so quickly. Pickup and drop off time was done as per our request and was on time. I recommend everyone to use their service.

With planning any event it can be stressful but, since I found the Meridian convention center everything has been going very smoothly. Since day one I have been working with Bobbi and every step of the way the staff has been amazing. From the fast response via phone calls, emails and text! Because, of Covid everything has been crazy but, they have made sure that everything I needed or wanted they made it happen. Bobbi my coordinator has suggested items to me and worked with me on all my request! Please book your next event with the Meridian Center you will not be disappointed! Me and my family really enjoy our event. At meridian Mr. Jawa and his staff were very helpful. Planning an event can be very stressful specially now with all of this pandemic situation but Mr.Jawa provided a bigger ballroom that way our guest could be social distancenced, that was very kind of Mr. Jawa. His assistant Nick was very helpful too. Me, my family and my quinciañera had fun and we enjoyed everything!

Mr.Jawa and his staff went above and beyond to help us keep our guests safe during the pandemic. They provided our family with a larger space than what was agreed upon in the contract for no extra charge and added extra chairs and tables as well so we could follow social distancing protocols. We had an extremely successful wedding reception thanks to Meridian!

Java went above and beyond to make my wedding event safe and success full during a pandemic by following all the health guidelines. He made sure the health guidelines were being followed during the event and also provided extra rooms to follow the social distancing guidelines . Thank you to all the Meridian team .

My nieces wedding was Saturday September 07, 2019. The wedding was glorious despite what took place before and after the wedding and reception. I have never been to a venue that was doing renovations in the ballroom the day of rehearsal and wedding. The renovations included painting, sanding, replacing tile, doing all of this and more while the family were trying to decorate for wedding, rehearsal and on the wedding day stopped the renovations 30 minutes before wedding guest arrival.The smell of paint in the room where the bride and her attendants were in getting hair fixed, makeup and getting dress was unbelievable. They were told to be careful the walls were wet. The event center knew prior to painting what that room would be used for the day of the wedding.I had to go outside and inform people from another wedding they could not go through the entrance to the ballroom we were at. The venue should have had signs for each wedding event outside posted especially on each entrance door.My son and his fiancee will be planning their wedding in the near future. This place will not be on the list of venues to be even considered visiting.I would rate this place a negative 3.

I attended a fundraiser event last year, and I love the red carpet walk way. I thought to myself, this would be a good place for our future gala. We are hosting first Annual Fundraiser on November 16, 2019. So far, our experience with Meridian has been very pleasant. We are a nonprofit organization, and they are willing to accommodate us on our needs to make our event a successful.

We had our wedding on August 24, and used the Valencia Room for our wedding reception. When I tell you the place was so beautiful, and accommodating. If youre looking for a venue to host your event with a warm welcoming staff that makes sure your day is special and memorable, this is the place. Love: Theyre community-oriented. Will work with non-profits and communities with pricing.This is a wonderful place for all types of events, they have different ball rooms suited to different group sizes and staff are really proactive. You dont need to hire your own security if you have big events because they have security, which is unlike a lot of other venues.The whole process and communication with their team was pleasant and responsive. I recommend this place for other community organizations, workshops, or family events.

Disaster, Rude, Unprofessional and UnsanitaryThis place starts out very professional until I had to deal with one of the owners the day of rehearsal. When we booked the wedding date the place was very clean and breathtaking floors and decor. The day of rehearsal they were still doing renovations. They sanded walls, floors left dusty and nasty, paint buckets were in the kitchen sink, fly strips hanging from the kitchen ceiling, repairing tile baseboards, painting. Bathrooms were nasty, I had to clean the bathrooms picking up stuff off floors, trash bins in bathrooms and kitchen had trash from last event, We were told we had to make sure all trash was empty before leaving. Noone from the event center checked and cleaned after last event. Mirrors were a mess.The event planner told us we could have the center for decorating the day before wedding from 12:30 until 3:30...than we were told we had to leave 30 minutes earlier due to they wanted to paint. Than the rehearsal was scheduled for 4 to 6, same rude person told me that we had to leave at 5 due to need to paint. I explained to him that there were people coming in at different times due to work and traveling from Alabama. He was very rude and I told him the best we could do was 5:30.The wedding day was a disaster! Still painting, bathrooms were never cleaned, the beautiful floors were a mess, sanding walls, painted the room that the bride and her attendants were to get ready for the wedding. They were told to be careful the walls were wet. We could not decorate the front entrance like we were told we could because the walls were wet with paint.The smell of paint during the wedding was unbelievable! The rude person and I exchanged words during the cleaning up. They were pushing the cleaning and we paid for the area until midnight. They were finally cleaning the floors after the wedding. They were wet buffing and we had to tell people to be careful not to slip and fall. This place did not think to far ahead if someone fell and got hurt the event center would be responsible. I asked them what was the hurry, the wedding was over...they should have done that before the wedding because it was embarrassing how the floors were so nasty during the beautiful wedding. He asked me what is your name? I told him it didnt matter what My name was...I was telling the truth. If I dealt with him when we were booking, we would never booked at this location,.The lady I dealt with was very professional and nice, that and the cleanliness was what sold us. Different story once the booking contract was signed and we paid in full.I could go on and on about how unhappy myFamily and I are about this event center.I rated it an one because there is no negative rating to post.

I am very disappointed in the management of the Meridian convention center, my sisters wedding was scheduled and due to the unforeseen circumstances of Covid-19 the wedding had to be postponed and the management team was not willing to work the situation out with my sister and when we tried to get in contact with them they did stopped responding. We have still been trying to get in touch with them and have yet to hear back. I would recommend that you NEVER do this business with place.

My husband booked this venue for our reception. The owners canceled our event due to COVID-19, but were not willing to work with us on a refund. Their contact does not favor the customer at all if an unforeseen event occurs, and only benefits the owners. If you look at their contact it also includes a bunch of extra fees to try to reschedule your event. They chose not to refund us and now are not allowing us to reschedule our event or transfer the amount to another person. They will steal your money and leave you in the dust. Unprofessional and unwilling to work with you in the midst of a pandemic. They state that their business is suffering, but what about the people who saved up to do business with your establishment and are currently unemployed or dealing with decreased pay.

Amazing venueMy sisters wedding was in August 2019 and the owner was very helpful and nice. Our wedding had 800 guest and he made sure everything went smooth. Thank you to the staff and looking forward to having my wedding there aswell.

The owners wouldn’t refund the thousands of dollars given to them for this wedding venue after they canceled it because of covid. I understand canceling the event for safety purposes. But, I do not understand why they thought it was fair to not give the money back over unforeseen events that were out of everyone’s control. I find this ridiculously unreasonable.

After hearing my friend’s story of the scam that was conducted by the owner who would not refund his money for a wedding that never took place due to COVID. Two other friends who had their wedding venues booked at reputable hotels got their FULL refund due to COVID but not this place.

I came here to attend Diwali function today. Find it pretty easy to find Meridian Convention Center. Convention hall is very nice and big. Chandeliers are big and pretty.Nice place for weddings and events.

Our experience with Meridian Convention Center has been amazing! If I could give this place higher than 5 stars I definitely would. We had four events here and each event was absolutely perfect. Weve booked 3/4 of the ballrooms available here for our events. All three venues were beautiful and the perfect size for each one of our events. The owner and his staff work day and night to make sure your event is a success. We also hired his team for our decor and they went above and beyond to make sure the decor looked exactly how we wanted it - it was simply stunning!!

Great location, one of the best in the area. Very helpful and trustworthy staff. I was able to keep my equipment there for 3 days without any hassle. They have different size ball rooms for smaller to larger parties, highly recommended.

We had an event in meridian for wedding Jawa and his team was very proficient. The space is huge and clean and has all amenities that you need to run an event starting from decor, light, Music, table chair linens etc. We will always use meridian for all our event needs. I specially like the professionalism of the entire who were present during to event to help us.

Went here for my friends wedding. There are multiple rooms here. There was actually two weddings going on when I went here but the place was still kept pretty clean and organized. The room we were in was huge. Big stage and big dance floor. A lot of seating. They kept a good amount of staff working during the event. I would recommend giving this place a look if you are planning a big event and need a venue.

I had my wedding there recently and it was amazing all the rooms are very beautiful, the staff did everything they could to help us. They kept us in the loop regarding all the planning and things that they were taking care of. They were very flexible with our schedule and they truly made it a day I will never forget.

I am giving 5 star rating since I was amazed with the way the meridian staff conducted themselves and the arrangements which they promised from the beginning of our wedding till the last minute when we were out from their facility. We cant thank them enough because weve got lot more for the money that we have paid. Thank you meridian !!!

The Meridian Convention Center is an ideal venue in terms of location, ambiance, parking and service. We attended a community event with almost 300 attendees and the team led by Jawa were very accommodating and helpful. Special shout outs to the team members posted outside - they were very patient with all the younger guests and went out of their way to ensure their safety.

I havent had an event yet at the Meridian Convention Center until April 21st 2018 but the staff has continuously been cordial to me and understanding. The venue is beautiful and I cant wait to have my event and have already been planning for another event December 2018. Misfit Kidz definitely will continue to recommend this venue and do more shows. They really help you to set up your events and caring people. I highly recommend this venue for weddings, fashion shows,etc your love to rooms and they work with your price range.

I was beyond pleased with the service and staff at the Meridian Event Center when my family selected it as the location for my baby shower. From the initial walk-through to the on-site support on the day of the event, we were extremely pleased! My shower was held in the Valencia room. We had originally booked an other hall but after seeing this place and renovation that has been done to improve this place our mind was set to book this hall for our event. I attended an event here a few months ago and absolutely fell in love with the place. Now were having my daughters Quinceañera which happens to be a Beauty & the Beast them and Meridian is the Perfect Place for it! My brother had his wedding at this venue and it was absolutely gorgeous. Parking was plentiful and it was easy to access. Everything looked great and the reception location was really large.

My son Troy is having a show April 21st at this venue and all he talks about is how beautiful it is and how helpful the people have been to him. I am in Washington DC and all he calls about his show at Meridian Convention Center. The pictures and videos I have seen from him shows the venue is an extragavant place to have an event. This is his first show for his brand and is so excited that it is at Meridian Convention Center and I cant wait to see how beautiful the show will be. Thank you Meridian for being so cordial to my son, we appreciate it.

Our wedding was fantastic and every one loved the reception. The party was very good, we did not have any issue. The meridian crew did not give any problems and were very helpful with everything we needed. We really appreciate everything and hope every one else has a very good time.

I attended the Sony Music Distribution Competition last night, and I was thoroughly impressed by this place and how big it actually was. The staff was very accommodating, and the chandeliers were STUNNING!!! It gave the place a very art deco feel to it!!

The Meridian Event Staff was very in-tune to the needs required for our Regional Training, making sure that all accommodation were in place. The facility and Grand Ballroom were welcoming and adjustable as we had more attendees that previously expected. We will definitely be back for more seminars in the future!!!

We hosted a community event on April 28th at the Valencia Hall, Meridian Convention center. The venue was just perfect.The ambience was fantastic. Meridian Convention Center management went out of the way to ensure all our requirements were met.Very hospitable. Jawa and Bobby are very responsive and had a lot of attention to detail. They planned everything to the T. All the guests had a great time and were very pleased with the venue.Strongly recommend this location for any of your parties / events.

I booked the CORDOBA at The Meridian Convention and Event Center for my college graduation reception. This room accomodates a max of 50 people and there was space for my DJ to set up. Bobbie was very helpful by making sure I was well informed on everything from prices to beneficial ways to set up the room. She stayed in contact with me from the day I booked up until the day of my reception. I give this center 5 stars and would highly recommend them.

MAY 2019Communication was NOT there. We got the Seville for my wedding and we felt that they did not let us know about their VERY STRICT rules. For example, we had already bought liquor and hired a mobile bartender but the bartnder did not have an ABC license and so we were not able to serve margaritas on our wedding. We were devastated. However, my wife and I vividly recall them telling us we only needed to hire a bartender. There was no mention about a license. Be careful with the information they do not give you. On the wedding day they told us to turn our music down - we specifically chose the meridian convention center because they told us we would not need to worry about the loudness. They never gave our guests wrist bands. They told us they would make sure only our guests entered our party but we found people we did not know at the wedding party. Security did not do their job. Overall I am still givng them two stars because one of the workers who helped clean up at the end was super helpful.THEY NEVER CALLED TO GIVE US OUR DEPOSIT. I had to call them several time before I could get a hold of them. They finally gave us our deposit but I had to call several times.Please be careful booking with this venue. I had my wedding here in May and it was waaaaay below the promised expectations. NO AIR CONDTIONER in MAY in NC??? And the owners and managers completely ignored us for the other party happening in another hall and never followed up or apologized. This was in 2015 and I’m still upset about it because there was no remorse and they promised to take such good care of us. 🙄🙄🙄 There are better spaces in Greensboro/Triad guys, trust me. Book here at your own risk.

This was the worse experience I have ever had at this venue I would not recommend this place to anyone the owner never held up to the agreement he kept having his staff interrupt the setup, the chairs were dirty, they had roaches and a very bad bug problem. He was rude and very unprofessional. I will make sure I let everyone I know how this company handle their business terrible terrible service I rate this venue a ZERO!

The staff at Meridian is amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure my graduation party was a success. The space was beautiful and exactly spacious enough for the event. Make sure you book your next event with them!

It was my first time at the Meridian center. It was a great venue. Very nice banquet hall, clean and easily accessible from freeway, The coordinator Jawa went out of the way to accommodate our needs. It was overall a great experience.
