NO INTEGRITY/Poor Customer Treatment...This storage facility blamed us for a hole that allowed leaked rain into our unit and told us we were responsible for the contents. We explained that our contents got wet because of the hole. They said the contract stated that Pleasant Garden Self Road Storage was not responsible for damage to any contents (even though it was clear that the rain caused the damage to a few of our items). We paid over $200 a month for climate control dry storage but it was our fault according to them. Basically our contents, our responsibility even if we pay you extra for keeping them air conditioned and dry. I think a hole that allows air and rain in means they were in contract breach by not providing what we paid for, not us. We made the decision do move out. Secondly, we were told that a week was the usual notice for leaving but they wanted 2 weeks since we had a large unit. We were out 18 days before next payment. We asked if any of our 30 day payment might be prorated just to see what they would say (we knew the answer). We were told that we were already within the 2 weeks, so no. So if they rent the facility today, they get paid twice for it? Wow! In fairness, it is a clean facility and the people speak to you very kindly on the surface but if you have any problems, BEWARE and expect to be the fall guy. Funny, when the expiration date expired on my credit card and I got busy, they were blowing up my phone daily. I updated card and account, which was not more than a month. They have no business integrity or customer value at all. Except for how they treat people, it would otherwise be a good business but their business practices are not above board. Im guessing they wont care about this review since they got our money for about 3 years (do the math). Apparently they do not need our business or our referrals to others. So be it, DONE!!! I also wonder if they treat everyone this way. It is not in my nature to sue or pursue but I at least wanted to do this review about our experience.

Went by here with a friend. To my knowledge theyve never had any issues! Felt like a pretty safe place if you need to store some stuff!

I have to share what a pleasant experience it was to do business with Randy. Such a nice man with a good heart. The storage facility is clean and he does everything he can to please his customers. I had no issues the entire year my items were in storage.

Ive never been here and the only way to keep this from pooping up wanting a review every single day was to break down and leave a review. Google should fix this issue when dismiss or I have not been here is clicked for suggested reviews.
