Its a self-serve yard, $2 entry fee. But their website lets you either search parts, or see what vehicles are on the lot. They were kind enough to check to see if the part I needed was on the vehicle before I drove up. Everything Ive bought there has been really reasonable, and they work with you based on condition. They even get some interesting stuff like Audi, Bmw, and Mercedes parts.

The guy working was very nice. It was a fun adventure!

Much better than it used to be the price actually went down to get in it used to be 4$ now its back down to $2 and its easy access to get in and cars are easy to find but everythings still really picked through

So much to pick through! Was able to find my piece easily and saved over $600 that I was quoted at the dealer!! Customer service was very nice and helpful as this was my first time at a salvage yard. Will definitely recommend and return!

I always like going there. They dont always have what i need but when they do its reasonable in price and they stand behind it if it doesnt work.

It is not a bad place to get a used pet but definitely rude and not happy people work there! Wish they know how to respect costumers !

I have called to see if they have a part and was hung up on. I called back and asked to speak to a manager or boss and the employee said he was the only employee in on August 11, then hung up once again. Very unprofessional

Worse experience ever. Will not go back and will let friends and family know not to go either. First pick and pull Ive ever been too where I didnt get to look at what was in the yard.

Will come back again. Our first time there and everyone was very helpful. They gave us a map to show us where the cars would be located.

Needed to replace one of my spark plug tube nuts that hold on my valve cover after over torquing it and breaking it... anyway after I came out of the yard with 2 of them I showed them to the cashier and she said just take it or something like that. I was thrilled because I was going to have to pay like 20 something dollars for this part as a special order and she just gave em to me for free!

Very clean. Well organized and all the cars were off the ground, level,without being up uo high. Friendly and I got there late and didnt feel rushed at all

Great yard and great people to deal with but they need to fix their website. It sucks trying to see what they have in the yard. I liked it better the old way.

I had them pick up my jeep to junk it out. They picked it up and didnt give any money or take the title! I called several times, and no call back. Cause goes to voice message. 😡

This place was horrible. I called to see if they had a part I was looking for, they told me they had 15. I made a two hour drive to get there, paid $3 per person to go into their yard, to find out that they had ZERO headlight assemblies I was looking for. When I talked with the counter guy he told me they didnt take inventory of parts and didnt know why anyone would tell me they had 15. Next time I will drive the extra distance to go to Gibsons first!

Very friendly and great organization of the yard. Thank you for a great experience. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure the trunks are all popped and easily accessible for when people steal the keys.

Prices are shockingly low. If you like pulling parts from junk cars it can be a lot of fun. I pulled all sorts of parts for my car and the price was less than I wouldve spent on one part from Amazon.

Staff was helpful and easy to work with.They have their inventory online if you need to check what they have. I am very happy with the service.

I really like them cuz they have wat u need and how they help you and talk to you I will give them a 100 on that.now this is wat I don’t like about them they love the packers and I love Chicago lol

Grandpa Johns always has some kind of buried treasure for my vehicle just waiting to be unearthed from the rubble! The staff is very friendly, the prices are more than fair, and they give you a map of the salvage yard before you even step foot into it so you know exactly where to look for the parts that you need! Very friendly people, organized yard, and if I cant find what I need I wait a few months and it seems like the stock is resupplied. Its great for odds and ends that are expensive or hard to find. A great place to poke around before you hit the parts store.

This place is such a waste of time. Any part that you could use was taken by the salvage yard next door. On top of that, their website states in price list that they have fuel pumps. Go there and pay the yard fee to get in only to find out that what their web site says they have they place next door takes out. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Im very disappointed in the customer service Ive received from this establishment. I purchased a radiator for a 95 Chevy Corsica and brought it to automotive shop for installation. The shop informed me that the radiator I brought them was defective. I contacted Grandpa Johns and the guy was surprisingly very rude and informed me that I was sol.. in those exact words. They will no longer receive my business nor will they from my friends and family. Please be careful when you do business with these type of places, check for warranty and read the fine print. It would be very helpful if someone there would answer the phone. Ive been trying to call to find out if they have the make/model car I need in their lot but cant get a hold of anyone. Im disabled so I need to bring a friend to pull the parts and dont want to waste both of our time driving over there if they dont have what I need. Pretty frustrating.

I went there looking for car parts for my 2000 chevy cavalier recently very friendly & helpful staff although the yard was very mucky! Lots of puddles & mud. boots or not it was treacherous!

Decent junkyard, just don’t bother coming here if you’re looking for anything under the hood. It’s either missing or got ruined when they took the engine out.

Some of the hired help at the front desk is sickening, piss poor attitudes. I’ll go els were and pay a little extra!!

Horrible service. Dishonest pricing. The tire said $44, but the woman charged us $49. When I brought this up, she blamed environmental fees and taxes. Those fees and taxes were added on after the $49 but she kept arguing. I gave up and left and will never be back.

Pretty friendly staff for a yard. Not the cheapest around but all around good. All the cars are raised so it is easy to get hubs and tie rod ends and such off.

Very helpful, totally organized, friendly. Ill always go there first. Called a competitor who gruffly said call your dealer. Not Grampa Johns, they were wonderful, be sure not to wear sandals, cuz shoes are the rules.

Staff can be very friendly. Can be really affordable but as with most junkyards youll need to bring appropriate tool and attire.

Been doing business sense they opened,, price have increased a number of times,,, and now there is a enviromental run off charge that is added at check out which they dont tell you about so dont be suprised when you get your little 2 by 3 inch receipt, hold on to it you have a 30 day warrenty for exchange only there is no refunds just in store credit or exchange only...,, make sure you shop around with the new price increase again which seems to happen yearly,, alot of times you can find the part you need up the road pulled off and ready to go at a cheaper price...or very close and the effort to get the part out is not worth the couple of bucks you save my opinion only...depends if your a penny pincher or not...as far as body parts great place but now price increase has put them prices in the range of getting it somewhere that its pulled already,, a pick and pull should save you money keep that in mind so check prices.. this is my opinion and my experiences at grandpa johns....retired now so only get things now for my own car when im able to get there which is not to often these days

When I told them that I needed parts for a Honda Civic I was hung up on. I was treated like a high school kid with autozone fart cans and spinner hub caps. Very disrespectful.

Worst experience ever they cant make up their mind on the price you ask them what the Price I cant believe that mission went up to three dollars when theyre charging out rages prices for their parts I needed a horn for my Tahoe they were going to charge me $10 for the horn when you can get a brand-new one for 1699 at O Rileys these prices are ridiculous I would not recommend this place at all to anybody so please go somewhere else and boycott this place because their prices are ridiculous their service sucks and their whole environmental charge is a bunch of crap
