Called after hours on a Saturday night and was told someone will get dispatched to us shortly. Josh showed up within 10 minutes of the call and was very helpful and professional. We were beyond grateful for all the help and professionalism he provided!

My husband called this place highway robbery. My husband was in an accident on the highway 2 miles away involving 7-8 cars. He had a tow truck he called. It didn’t come soon enough so cops called this place. First off they charged us $35 for the cops calling. Secondly, they charged $105 for storage for two days even though it’s supposed to be only $35/day. They must charge you $35 just to drop it off. On top of that there’s an additional $35 labor fee (why isn’t that included in a tow?) And the tow itself for a two mile two was $225. Totaling $422.On top of this, when they picked up the vehicles, they towed two at a time. Meaning they probably made close to $800 for towing two vehicles two miles. If anyone was in financial hardship this unexpected slap in the face would be devastating on top of losing a vehicle and potentially having medical bills due a no-fault accident.Not only that but they were fairly rude to me as I went to help pick up items even though I was the registered owner, treated me like a thief as if I couldn’t have been back there and checked in at the office.I would NEVER recommend this place. It seems they just take advantage of people who are in a vulnerable circumstance.

Heavy duty, cosby towing. SUCKS! Thy steal ur vehicle rite outta ur driveway, legally parkd, no police dept tag, no tickets. An ur vehicle is gone. Thn thy tell u, thy dont tow jst frm sum one elses phone call. But ur vehicle is gone n thy dont even get bac to u whn u call about it! Thy suck! Now we hav to go to court about it.

I watched them move a load of mine at the shop they took great care of my load an when I needed them they were prompt polite I would use them again

The wrecker operator Dale was amazing! We originally called to get our van towed to a mechanic because we couldn’t get it started with everything we tried. Dale asked to take a look and help - started immediately! He saved us so much money. He even followed us to the auto parts store to make sure we didn’t break down on the way! Hopefully we won’t need this service again, but if we do, we’re going with Crosby!

I ran over a metal shard somehow and had a tire blow out on my way to school on the highway. They arrived super fast and the driver was very friendly. Took my car directly to the shop I asked him to with no problems at all. Thanks!

Quick service friendly staff reasonable priced

Was towed after a crash and received no notification of where my vehicle was taken to. Only over ten days after I receive a mail telling where it was taken to, got charged over $300 for the towing alone, a trip less than 5 miles no less, and extra fees that kept piling up. This is a scummy business, if youre unfortunate enough to find yourself in a crash and the police offer to tow your car, please decline. Any other option is better, save yourself the ludicrous expenses.

Called in the evening to have my step-sons truck towed and they were there within 15 minutes! Their driver Justin was very professional! He also was gracious enough to give him a ride to the dealership! Will not hesitate to call Crosbys again!

At the scene of the accident the tow driver said it would be cheaper to have my motorcycle towed to the yard instead of my home. To my house he quoted $250.00, I paid $375.00 at the yard because they add storage fees, labor, and registration fees. They lied to me to collect these extra fees. Once at the yard the gentleman that was to help me stood there staring at my bike and trailer didnt have a clue how he was gonna do that. I had to give him instructions, very poor customer service, i cant believe someone who works in a towing business could be so dumbfounded.

We had an awesome experience with Josh and Chris today. Our boat was on the side of the road with a busted axel and after a failed attempt with Glenn’s towing, Crosby’s towing was able to save the day! The guys were super professional, talked us through every step of the process, and were able to get the job done quick. After the first failed attempt, we were worried our boat wasn’t going to get towed, but we knew the second Josh and Chris showed up we were in good hands.

Called to see if vehicle was in lot and man on the phone was very rude! He said and I quote “we closed at 6 I can’t help you maybe you should be more careful and not get your car towed”. Yes I get I called after hours however I did the same with a different lot and they were so helpful and nice! Also the other looked up to see if it was in there lot! Terrible terrible customer service! I was checking to see if the vehicle was in an accident or not as I was not able to get a hold of them and they haven’t been heard from since they left work! Avoid this place terrible people not a bone of compassion or kindness in their body!

We broke down 3 hours away from home while towing a camper. Crosby was responsive and sent someone right away. Josh went above and beyond to help us with our camper situation and getting us to a local hotel. Highly recommend!

Quick and easy, reasonably priced company with a long history of good service. Not all companies flat tow vehicles but Crosbys does!

Not only did the wrecker come immediately upon my call, but the gentleman that assisted me was professional, informative and very customer focused. He knew I needed to get my car going on the spot, so he stayed an entire hour to assist me and get my vehicle running again. The service was exceptional!

I called them for an asap tow, and they took down my name, number, and location and said theyd have someone call me to set up a time for towing my uncles car to the shop (hydrolocked engine). I got a phone call and the guy was already at the car! The car was loaded up quickly, professionally, all handshakes and smiles. I definitely recommend using this company, as I will continue doing so myself. Tell your friends!

Do not go to this place. I crashed my truck no more than 5 miles from their yard. The cop called them without telling me who was coming. While hooking it up he just damaged it more. When I got there to look at my truck the lady was rude and condescending. Plus there is a 35 dollar storage fee that they don’t tell you about. They charged 200 for the tow, 100 for labor. Total my bill was almost 400 for 20 minutes of labor. Do what you can to avoid this crooked place

One of their drivers needs to learn how to properly drive a vehicle the size of a flatbed wrecker. One does not need both lanes for a roundabout. It speaks volumes about the low quality drivers they employ.

Called Crosby Towing on January 31st and talked with Nicole regarding a tow. Asked how I pay for the towing and she said it would be $55.00 and Crosby would bill the Chevy dealer so I would only have one bill. The next week Melissa Crosby left a voice message that I owed them $80.00 for the towing. I called to talked with Nicole (who wasn’t working there anymore), then I asked to speak with Melissa. I told Melissa I was willing to pay $55.00 as quoted and she was rude and said then she would take me to small claims court. The tow truck driver was very nice.

Well, this is the towing company my warranty contacted to bring my car to the dealership. It is a Saturday and dealership is closed. Chris is the guy that came. First, I want to say my Warranty company has an “idiot”who did not relay the correct facts so he would be prepared to tow my car. He drove the large heavy duty tow truck which would not fit in my underground parking. So he did jump start it. He was already officially done at 5pm and he didn’t know what to do. He was so kind and if I insisted he tow it he would have done so. So now my observations of the many NEGATIVE comments about Crosby towing. WHY would a business have that nasty, rude woman treat customers that way. Either the owner doesn’t need the business and just doesn’t care or he is so rich he doesn’t care about his business.

My 2 year old locked himself in the car and police contacted them ! He was super quick to come and in less than 30 seconds i was holding my son !! Thank you so much Josh, you saved me money by not having to put a bat thru my window today!!! Amazing service, very polite guy!! Will definitely turn to you in the future !

Josh went out of his way to even recommend and call a a repair shop for me!! Not only that.. turned around to drive me back to the shop that could fix my car for a super low price and that same day!! Well they were doing there job but they were hired by the police not by my request so I asked them to tow my vichle across the street and it is not good that the police have cost me and alot of other people tons of money . You should not have to pay for your car when the police call it in to tow it . They should pay last time I had a vichle impounded they kept it for evidence when the police said I stole my own car and ran from it they new it was not me but they swore they were gonna say it was me I really cant trust this sytemtheytold me if I didnt tell them how took it they were gonna blame .e and swear to it in court

Had to have my daughters car towed from Mason and US41 due to a flat tire. Policeman on the scene called Crosbys, so my daughter figured it must be good. What a joke...When I called an hour later to see about getting the tire fixed, was told they didnt do any of that.Then I asked the towing costs - figured it would be around $100. Was shocked to hear $200 for towing (less than 4 miles) + $35 storage + $12.xx tax. $247!Went over to their office, and asked about coming back in the morning since it was February, late in the day (4:30pm) and getting dark and cold, and snowy. Sure, just pay another $35 for storage...Oh, and you cant actually change your tire on our property, due to liability issues... but you can drive your car with the flat tire out the back gate and park on that unplowed side street and change it there. But dont take too long, or the police will come by and call us to tow your car back into our yard, for another towing and storage charge...They were just rude, and for the life of me I cant figure out why they didnt ask where to take it to, since they dont do any repairs there...Avoid this place like the plague!

I was in a multi car accident on 41 near GB. I live in Milwaukee so I dont know the area very well. Scott was extremely friendly and helped me with the whole towing process. Evan was also extemely nice and helpful so I could get through this difficult time since my pick up was totaled and was stranded in GB. I couldnt have asked for better service and professionalism!!!

The folks at Heavy Duty did an excellent job transporting various vehicles for me. I had had them transport several highend luxury vehicles. The vehicles have always arrived on time and in excellent condition. I work in the GB area and saw the negative comments; these are so far from the truth. Heavy Duty has contracts with the City of GB, as a result the police and parking utilities use their services for tows. Many of the people that the police interact with don’t have a driver’s license or don’t have the vehicle registered properly.(This makes it tough to get the vehicle back when you can’t legally drive!!!) If you want top notch service, with excellent staff, and brand new equipment than these guys are your tow company.

Very rude customer service

Called at 7 am and they said it would just be a few hours. Drove past at 8pm and my car was in the same spot. Called Crosby and turns out they forgot about my car. The man on the phone assured me that the car would get dropped off at the dealership yet that night. Did not show up at the dealership until later that next day. Literally the definition of 24 hour towing service because it takes that long.

Got in an accident and didnt know who to call. The police officer recommend them. They Towed my SUV less than a mile. Charged me $250 and only gave me $175 for my vehicle to junk it so I owed them $75 for the whole thing and lost my car. They werent rude but they definitely take advantage of a bad situation. Way overpriced if you ask me and they charge $35 per day storage if you dont have it taken elsewhere or sign it over to them which they do not inform you upfront. I wasnt told that until I called them.

Found my car after lost weekend

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS SCUM OF A PLACE!!!!! Rude people and they lied and said they would tow it somewhere else but they towed it to their place. On top of not towing it to the right place, they charged us $35 a day when we thought it was at a different place. Its a home and a towing place because little kids were running around and the lady who is supposedly the manager had her daughter as the person dealing with us. They told us we were lying that the tow truck said he would tow it somewhere else and the owner/manager (whatever she is) said she didnt believe us and would take us to court if we didnt pay for our car that day. Literally the worst people in Green Bay for picking a towing company. Police officer recommended them because they have a deal with each other. Piece of trash place. They would be out of business by now if it werent for the police officers referring them. They deserve negative stars but only option was to give one or more.

Worst people to deal with ever, they get calls from state patrol to pick up even if the state patrol told you that your vehicle will be ok to wait for your towing company.(they must have good connections with the police dept)If you are on the Wisconsin area and your car broke down or have an accident be aware of this.

I locked my keys in my SUV in a rush to get into a Drs appointment. Of course that feeling of dread fell over me. I went inside the Drs office and they recommended Heavy Duty Towing. So I called the number. The woman who answered was very polite and said shed send someone right away and that the charge was $50 dollars plus tax. That was a relief because I only had a $50 bill on me (Ive used another company back in 2007 they charged $95 and took two and a half hours to get there while my keys were locked in my car with the engine running!!!). Five minutes later I get a call from the service man saying hes a minute away. He got there and got me in my SUV within a minute and a half! Since I only had the $50 bill, he said Thatll be fine, forget the tax. Which I thought was very nice of him. The whole ordeal took less than 20 mins from the minute I shut the door and locked my keys in. I appreciate the fast and friendly service. So here I am a hour later writing this review! Its no wonder why they give you wait 2-3 days after an accident to make up your mind about your car. On TOP of the $200 tow fee, its an extra $35 PER DAY, THEY DONT EVEN TELL YOU ABOUT. I was in a car accident on Thursday, called today...2 days later...about getting my car back and the fee is already over $300. By the time I can gather the money to get my car back, its going to cost OVER $500! Thats what i paid for the car in the first place! I hope you rot in hell Crosbys!

I was in an accident in May. The GBPD has a contract with Heavy Duty so thats who was called to tow my totaled car. They have no customer service skills whatsoever; rude and unprofessional. Two of their employees actually SCREAMED at me. Very dissatisfied

Avoid using this towing service at all costs! The man was very rude and unreasonable. They are the most expensive towing place in the city and defiantly not worth it. They made excuses and lied to keep our car an extra because they charge a 35 dollar per day storage fee. Plus an outrageous amount to tow it a couple miles. Not satisfied at all. Push your car home before you use this towing service.

It’s a towing service. Nothing special. No need for fabulous customer service when you go in to your car, pay for it etc. Green Bay police Dept will use for towing damaged car(example for niece and her car).
