I had been putting off the dentist for a while, I was not happy with the last dentist I used.Then the pandemic hit, then I think I was embarrassed for how long it had been so I was nervous about going back. Grapevine Family was awesome, they got me in quick due to a cancelation and were extremely nice. They were really great at explaining with my x-rays what I was looking at, and were reassuring positively without judgements on the time lapse. I think Stephanie was the hygienist and she was super sweet, the Dentist was really nice and understanding too.

After years of orthodontic work, and reconstructive jaw surgery, one would expect that I don’t enjoy visiting the dentist. That was true until I started going to GFD in 2012. They make me feel so welcome! Robin is my hygienist and she is the best! I always feel like I’m going to visit a friend when I get my teeth cleaned. Highly highly recommend them!

Best team around for dental needs. Robin is such a compassionate person and helps keep me calm from my anxiety of stuff like this (plus she is a fantastic hygienist). Dr. Solis does a thorough exam and never tries to push a procedure on you (he will tell you to wait if possible). He also is great to fully explain anything that may need to be done.

I went to this dentist once in 2018. They literally just called me 2.5 years later asking for a $30 payment that my insurance never covered. I never received anything in the mail, via email or phone until today so it’s not like they were hounding me for a payment for years. Disgusting. I will never do business with a company who operates this way - I even question whether or not they are lying about the $30 balance because they’re hard up for cash.

Dr. Solis is a positive person who takes the time to know his patients. He really does enjoy what he does and it rubs off on you, reducing dental anxiety. His staff are pleasant, accommodating, and seem happy in their jobs; a more subtle way of making you feel like youve come to the right place. He stays current on trends in dental care and takes the time to discuss them when giving you options, then walks you through the steps involved and what to expect at each visit. Like most people, seeing the dentist has never been one of my favorite things. Then I found Dr. Solis. Hes the first dentist that doesnt raise my blood pressure. I feel welcome whenever I come in for an appointment. If a procedure takes longer than expected he explains why and I never feel Im being rushed because of it. He seems to get what its like sitting in that chair and regularly checks on how Im doing, often sharing little tidbits about the latest thing in dentristy, that take my mind off whats happening. The staff does a great job of scheduling, something you dont typically notice until youre left waiting with no explanation. The dentist may never be my # 1, but I can guarantee that I feel better about it with Dr. Solis as my dentist.

Aside from the receptionist who doesnt return voicemails left during her lunch hour, I have been very pleased with the dentist.

Dr. Solis was a good dentist but the back office staff is so rude that I’ll never return. I called to inquire about a bill and received nothing but attitude. There are too many other dental offices in the area that actually focus on customer service to ever return to this place.
