Dr. Michael and his assistants are very encouraging and answered all the questions I had. Ive never had a doctor give me sunglasses to wear and hooked me up to a headset to hear music while they worked in order to make the experience better for me. They told me every step of the way what they were doing. I highly recommend them.

My husband and I found out Dr. Colangelo a year ago when we moved to grapevine. I have had 2 crowns from him so far and one was a root canal which was result of my old dentists negligence in filling one of my cavities but Dr. Colangelo and his team were excellent in fixing it and treated me very well during and after the procedure. My husband and I are moving away from the grapevine area but have decided to schedule all our future appointment with grapevine dental during the holiday when we visit. Seems they manipulate some of the reviews on here. I saw no mention of the over aggressive, pushy blond front desk woman, whos job is to get you to schedule more treatments/ spend more money. I told her I had to discuss with my husband, and she gave me a rude, snotty attitude.I also saw no mention of pre-paying for services, or how they overbill the insurance. The hygienists are great, I can say that.The aggressive sales tactics and overbilling caused me to go somewhere else. I dont like that greasy salesman type attitude. At my new dentist, my cleanings are actually fully covered, and the prices are much lower meaning more will be covered on insurance.

If you have any anxiety at all, it will disappear as each person makes sure youre comfortable while explaining everything in a way you can understand. Initially the staff was friendly, Dr Colangelo seems knowledgeable but also money hungry. After my examination Dr Colangelo said he could easily buffer out a stain on my tooth after my cleaning. He also recommended the need for 2 crowns and a filling. He said to get him after the hygienist was done. After my cleaning, I asked the dental hygienist to get the dentist, she said he would remove the stain after my additional recommended dental work. I told her the dentist said he could do it after the cleaning. She stepped out of the room and returned a few minutes later. She said the front desk would help me. The girl at the front desk checked me out and gave me a quote for $5,000 . I told her I would call to schl an appt whe,when i had the money. I asked for the dentist for the stain to be removed and she said he would do it when I came back for my services. I explained to her what the dentist said and she said he wasnt available to do it until then and that he left the office. I felt in the beginning the dentist really cared but then I saw another side to them. I know everything comes with a price but I dont like being lied to. Super disappointed!

Dr. Colangelo and his staff are great. I always have a good experience when I go for an appointment, whether it is for a simple cleaning/checkup or having a crown put on. I have been to several other dentists in the past and I always feel like they are trying to up-sell me on some unnecessary treatment. I have never had that happen with Dr. Colangelo. His approach is straight-forward, practical, and honest.

The whole experience was straight forward and easy. The office staff were helpful when I had questions about payment and insurance. Dr. Colangelo is likeable, easy to talk to, and understand. I feel that the treatment of two crowns and some fillings was the appropriate amount of intervention. I didnt feel like he was trying to be more aggressive and expensive than he needed to be. I trust this establishment and will continue dental care here.

Best dental practice in north Texas, hands down. I no longer dread getting my teeth cleaned and checked! The entire office is caring, kind, gentle and trustworthy. The hygienist Debra is amazing, and always manages to work around any sensitive areas on my gums. Dr. Colangelo not only takes the time to listen, he also doesnt find problems that arent there. A good checkup is praised, and pricing is great. You know its a good place when ALL of the employees are genuinely happy to be there.

I’m so glad I sought out another Dentist to look at an abscess that was on my gum. My previous Dentist said “ yep, looks like there is something going on” and gave me some antibiotics and sent me on my way, Even after they took some X-rays. Grapevine Dental looked at it and took X-rays and said there is an infection on the root canal and immediately scheduled and extraction. 2 weeks later the tooth is gone, Infection is Gone, Pain is Gone, and my last Dentist is Gone ! They also repaired a chip tooth and put a nice crown on it in the same visit. No pain there either. Michael gave me great play by play educated information during the whole process. I started out going to Grapevine Dental just for my routine cleanings after moving to the area. Then I had to get a couple fillings and was very impressed with Dr. Colangelo and all of his staff. After such a great experience, I inquired about getting porcelain veneers (which is something Ive considered doing for a very long time to get rid of some permanent stains on my front teeth). I was very nervous after researching the process and realizing it was irreversible. After exhaustive research and consults with many cosmetic dentists, I went with Dr. Colangelo because he made me feel the most confident about how they perform the procedure and provided honest feedback. Im nearly 6 months out now and I feel like this is one of the best decisions Ive ever made. It was expensive, but I am SO happy with the results. Ive always been so self-conscious about my front teeth and now I just love my smile. Dr. Colangelo and his staff are the best dental team Ive ever been to. Highly, highly recommend!!

When I walk in each time, they greet me by my first name. It is a comfortable environment they create there. I just recently got 2 crowns put in. During the procedure, I was able to listen to music of my choice with headphones they provide. I highly recommend Grapevine Dental! As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by name. Everybody in the office is so friendly and they never try to just sell you more stuff. For example, I was in there today and have a spot that looks like it could be a cavity. Rather than automatically treating it as such, the dr recommended using a prescription toothpaste and then looking at it in a few months.The first time I went, it had been an embarrassing amount of time since my last dentist appointment. The staff made me feel totally comfortable. Every time after that, it’s obvious that they are familiar with my chart before talking to me. (Ex: I have a night guard so they will ask how I’m doing with that.)During quarantine I managed to chip a tooth. Once again, from the people at the front desk, to the doctor, the staff was kind, understanding and accommodating.

Every time I visit for my routine cleaning, I am met with a friendly staff that knows my name as soon as I walk in. My interactions with each of the staff members has been excellent and they generally care about my well being. I plan on referring my mother who has been looking for a new dentist. Even though it is a bit out of the way from where she lives, I believe they will take care of her and she wont be disappointed.

He takes the time to explain everything so you understand what needs to be done. He and his staff make sure you are calm and comfortable thru the entire procedure.I would HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone that needs a dentist !!Thank you Dr Colangelo for being great !!

If your looking for a new Dentist you found the best one. I’ve been going to Dr. Colangelo for almost 5 years now and so has my husband. He is reliable and trustworthy and will only suggest what is needed. Another huge reason why I stay with him is his staff, he would not be so successful without them, they are all wonderful and super nice and greet you by name when you enter the door for your appointment. I’ve never had a long wait for my appointment, they will get you in and out on time.Ive been pushing my appointment due to the pandemic but finally went in for my cleaning, everything was super clean and made me feel safe with temperature screenings and masks, thank you again Dr. Colangelo.

Throughout the entire process, Doctor Colangelo checked in with me to make sure I was pleased with the results I was seeing - and I am completely over the moon! Now that my Invisalign treatment is over I still trust Doctor Colangelo and his team for all of my dental needs. Credit where credit is due - they are amazing!

Dr. Colangelo helped me with a crown due to a crack in a tooth, and a night guard. The crown process went smoothly, with the minimum amount of pain medicine used, which I appreciate. For the night guard, the office was able to make it within ~1 week and the fit was perfect on the firs try. Would recommend.

My Wife and I have been going to Grapevine Dental for many years. We are very pleased with the service. The staff are some of the best around and Dr. Colangelo is the best. He is very professional and meticulous. You dont leave the office until the work is perfect.
