All I can say is WOW. What a difference these windows make. We live in an older home and for 9 years we had been paying around $150 a month for heating bills. Weve had Polar Seal windows for the last 2 years and our heating bills have been cut by about $50-$60 a month. Plus NO drafts. These windows look great, work perfectly and they replaced all our windows in only 2 days. I only wish we had the money to replace them years ago when we first moved in because they would have paid for themselves by now with the savings in our heating bill. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic customer service. You wont find better. Our summer house is 2 1/2 hours north. Recently we had a minor problem with one window. The service tech was professional and prompt to drive north and fix the issue. Love these windows. They are easy to clean and easy to operate. The local rep ordered 1/2 screens for the last 2 Polar Seal windows instead of full screens which we have on the other 15 Polar Seal windows we did earlier. Polar Seal delivered the full screens with a smile because they really want their customers happy.

We are very impressed with the windows installed on our 4 season porch by Polar Seal last fall. Beside the fact they look make our sun porch look so much richer, the prairie grids we chose look amazing. This is a local company, been around 4ever and they are true to their word. They dont do a hard sell. True to their word, we accidentally ran over a tennis ball with lawnmower and it busted the window. They helped cover the window and repair it in no time. Do they dont need to ship things in from other states, local is the best benefit!

The technician correctly identified the problem, measured the window for the precise size needed and the company than re-manufactured a window for my historic home that fit perfectly ... ALL WORK covered by WARRANTY 100%. If you are in the market to INVEST in great windows and want the additional satisfaction of knowing that the company will be there for you if the product has issues, then Polar Seal gets the highest marks. Both the technician who identified the problem and the installer who brought the new sash were pleasant and great representatives for the Polar Seal name. Highly recommend!

Their Sales Team is straight-up, doesnt bad mouth the competition and focuses on getting the customer the best bang for the buck. Polar Seal was the last of 6 total quotes that I had done on my home (14 windows). Their window appeared to be the nicest and they were the 2nd to lowest quote.Their install techs work for Polar Seal and are polite, efficient and professional. Jeff and his crew were able to install all 14 windows in the first day and then came back the second day to finish caulking and wrapping windows from the exterior. They look amazing and we are so excited to enjoy the views of our lake through new windows.Over the past several years Ive had to higher out a few larger projects on our fixer-upper and have had OK luck with contractors. I spent time collecting several different bids. I did research taking into account that price was very important, but only one of my concerns. I decided to go with Polar Seal, even though they were not the least expensive. They put all new windows in a home built in 1905. I was concerned about the plaster walls, and the difficulty of replacing windows in a structure that, after 111 years standing, is less that perfectly square. I am so happy that I went with Polar Seal!The salesperson was informed, patient, did not bad mouth other companies and returned my multiple calls. The installers were punctual and very professional. They were organized, efficient, and the end product is great! Polar Seal has installation crews that are part of the company, not contracted for a short-high traffic time. Now almost 18 months in after having all the windows in the house replaced. I was highly satisfied with the sales experience, honest straight forward pricing, and installation and still feel the same about the window performance and quality of installation. Ignore the hype and pressure from other sellers. Go local with Polar Seal and you won’t be disappointed.

Cleaned up after themselves, both inside and out. Excellent!Windows: Replaced 55 yr old double hungs. New windows look great inside and out. Performs as expected. Window drafts gone. Quiet - cant hear the wind unless we really try to hear it. Insulation value undetermined but seem to be much more efficient than the old windows .. no drafts, inside glass warm to the touch when it is in the 30s outside, furnace does not seem to kick on as often. Outstanding!Warranty: Have not had to use but lifetime to original owner including accidental breakage.Value. Probably the best value on the market especially if you intend to stay in your home for 10 years or longer.

We chose Polar Seal windows over the three other advertised window companies here in Michigan, even though they were a little more expensive. Two of the three companies I had purchased previously for income properties and was not satisfied with the quality of the windows. This job involved 89 windows so we wanted to be sure they were high quality. I am writing this review 2 years after installation and we couldnt be happier. We purchased double hung windows with the metal screens. The vinyl frames are not as large as one company (more window) and the upper window stays in place and doesnt drop down (like the other two companies) when you go to close and lock them. Also the screens are almost invisible (not like either advertised company) and have two metal tabs that make it very easy to remove when cleaning. I have recommended Polar Seal to other people who were also very satisfied with the quality. We went with Polar Seal for our windows and love them. They let radiant heat in in the fall/einter/summer. We will see what the summer brings, hopefully the blinds can keep some of that heat out.

Jeff and Erika have been very helpful so far. They are making this process a positive one. We are having 24 windows replaced in the next 6-8 weeks so we are excited to see what they look like and how the service continues.

We love our Polar Seal windows and highly recommend their products and services, which are 2nd to none. We already feel a HUGE difference in our heating and cooling bill. We went from $230 down to $145 in a month. Our heat shuts down at 11:30 PM and its still 67-68 degrees by the time our heat comes back on at 6 AM. Our home is now like a brick wall thanks to Polar Seal windows with no heat loss.

We had a basement window changed by them in 2015 and its five years and looks new. Prompt service and installation.

Started out good. They came out on time did the measurements and we paid over half down, they were not the cheapest quote either but we decided to do it. Made the install date and jumped through hoops to get someone to sit with the house cause we both work, then they canceled on us because someone had a baby?? Really they dont have replacement people? What if the windows where already out?

So I set out to hire a project done for my house. I contacted the two big names in the state and a variety of local companies -- Ive lost track of the exact number, but I think like 7 in all before I went to private contractors and purchasing the material myself.Anyway, these guys were one of the few companies that did NOT insist upon the waste of time sales call.I had the measurements, I said it was a pretty straightforward job and I wanted a ball park bid and that significant changes in price would result in reevaluation.So there is that. Their price was 2nd best, and I suspect it was more honest than the best one. They had no problem giving me an estimate. That suggests that they stand by their price and work.My Two bits.

Received estimates from Hansens, Wallside and Blackberry and Polar Seal. Not only was Polar Seal the best deal by far, the sales staff were professional and the sales visit was respectful and you were not treated like a complete idiot with ridiculous inflated price quotes followed by if you sign today super discounts. The Polar Seal contract was protective of both client and company. The Hansens contract gave all protections to the company. The replacement window industry is slimy. Be sure to read your contract and be aware of no contract completion dates clauses and the like. The Polar Seal contract is fair and the Hansens contract is ridculous.We had the entire house windows replaced. Installation was fantastic, the crew was professional and courteous. Windows are made in Grand Rapids and of stellar quality. Crew cleaned house and looked like no construction took place.I shopped window companies to death. I cant recommend Polar Seal enough. The owner was wonderful, the windows high quality and product and installation with a life time guarantee.
