During COVID, I’ve been getting me haircut by my wife. Finally there is only so much she wanted to tackle so I ventured out and came to the Plainfield Barber Shop to “get my ears lowered!” Robert is the last remaining barber out of the group of 4 barbers that I have been going to since 1984 when they were in the 2nd floor at the old Meijer on Plainfield. Gone are Ken and Ted, while Vicki retired after knee replacement surgery. Robert decided to keep the business going after being shut down for 3 months. We had a wonderful chat as he filled me in on “what has been happening” with the barber shop! Thanks Robert! I will return until we go south for a couple of months.
