I am very very interested in their 3 bedroom C1 floor plan. I have tried to apply all month of August due to the special they had. I was advised to complete an application and email Jennifer to advise completed and place In a different unit. I call and they advised that was not true and the unit is unavailable. Okay its a loss. Now I received another notification for a similar unit. Great. No πŸ‘Ž. I went to the office for a tour and I find out they are open and running with a temporary leasing agent and all of the staff are out SICK. so of course Ive gotten no answers or responses that are helpful because the woman had no idea what she was doing. Plus they never answer their phones.

They literally never answer the phone I’ve been calling for a week. Today I called 19 times, the excuse is always we’re showing apartments. But I called while looking in the window and they were there just ignoring the phone. The new management made all these promises but failed to deliver. The dumpsters are embarrassing to the point you don’t even want to invite people over. The amenities are never open or working. The apartments are old, small, and overpriced. They’re doing more to gain them money like adding these new parking rules but not doing anything to make the living environment better. Please let this be a last resort.

The office phone is never answered. The pool is still not open. The office staff keeps saying two weeks but nothing yet. The security gate is always broken. The dumpsters are always overfilled. There is a problem with roaches even after the exterminators. The refer a friend program is a joke. We pay too much in rent not to have the amenities that are advertised on their website. To be honest, I think the CAF did a better job of maintaining things.I. have lived here since January and if things dont improve I will not be renewing my lease.

I’m very disgusted with these apartments. I’ve been living here since 2018 and never had so many problems with management. I’ve been waiting for two months for a new A/C unit, my stove is completely broken for 3 months and so is my washer. No one answers the phone, no one cares. They finally brought me and my family may I add just had a newborn, a window A/C unit which only keeps the living room cool, I have an upstairs and downstairs so me and my whole family sleeping in the living room. I went into the office today, and the lady at the front desk was very rude, cant help you with anything, the manager wasnt there, but she told me to email management OR the western wealth communities about my issues. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! DONT MOVE HERE!

I have been calling this apartment for over a week throughout the whole day leaving voicemails to have someone contact me back and no one ever answers or gets back to me, I just need information about availability. I understand that you guys may possibly be understaffed or always out showing properties and other things but you mean to tell me no one ever tries to call back ?? That’s insane.. Reading through recent reviews and it doesn’t seem that the new management is better than the last.

It’s sad! I’m a tenant and they never answer the phone when I call.They have yet to fix my loud popping noise refrigerator! When I walk into the office it’s always one person in the back holding a conversation. Don’t get me wrong I like the apartments, I just don’t like the new management and how they are handling things. For starters, they remove reviews and pictures that make them look bad. How do I know? Because this is my third attempt in leaving a review and uploading my photos, which they keep deleting. If you wonder why there are no real tenant pictures it’s because they get deleted. Ok now, If you put a work order in, you will have to remind the office of your order several times. mold is simply painted over (Like the picture I posted of my restroom). The dumpsters are always a mess, which I know is the reason for fly’s, and roaches. I personally lay an anti roach powder on every entree way and down my drains and cover them. When I don’t, I wake up to water bugs in my sink (like the picture I posted which hopefully they didn’t delete again). Picking up after your dog is not enforced at all. It’s also not enforced to have your dog on a leash. The gates are always opened, there’s always small crowds hanging around at night being loud. So basically there is no type of rules or enforcements of any kind besides paying your rent on time. I’ve heard many domestic disputes and the police is always coming out to the complex. Don’t delete my review Hunters Cove, because this is what reviews are for, to share our personal experience. If you don’t like it then do something about it.

I’ve literally had nothing but problems with this complex and I haven’t even been here 2 months. Every month I’ve been here when it’s time to pay the rent there’s always extra charges on my account. It’s really frustrating. I literally have to go into the office because they don’t answer the phone.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! I cannot stress enough how terrible the management company treats tenants.When I moved in there was a hole in my ceiling and a leak, I notified management many times of this issue and nothing came to fruition. The hole expanded due to the water damage and eventually caved in over my head. The management company still has hardly done anything to fix it.Although there is a new management company, they may have exceeded the previous companys already high level of negligence and lack of care for their tenants. They are unresponsive, unorganized, and communication when there is an issue is terrible. I would love to give them the benefit of the doubt but they struggle to do the bare minimum which is inform their tenants of repairs, changes, and plans for assistance.I cannot urge anyone enough, DO NOT LIVE AT HUNTERS COVE!

I applied online on Sunday April 25th. I went in on Monday April 26th and paid a money order of $420.00. They said new management would be starting on Wednesday and I should know something then. Called on Wednesday and the lady assured me that I would hear something on Thursday evening/friday morning at the latest. I call on Thursday and she says we do not know anything yet. I then called on Friday and she tells me I will for sure know something on Saturday morning. Saturday I go to the location and she says that she understands my frustrations and she will contact me Saturday. She did not reach out or attempt to even work on the issue. Sunday comes and I call again she says she does not know and I need to talk to the manager. Everytime I try to speak with the manager she is NEVER AVAILABLE!I call today Monday May 3rd and she tells me they have NO record of my application or anything. I need to reach out to the previous rental company. I have NEVER experienced such unprofessionalism and liars in my life. They have basically taken my money and acted as if they ALL OF a sudden have no record. At this point I will be advising you all not to move here or waste your time. They are just as bad as the previous management, if not worse! Now, I have more work to do to try and get my money back from these imposters.

I absolutely LOVE Tracie!!! She’s so attentive, respectful and genuine. When you go into the office to speak with her, she always makes you feel welcomed and she does her best to ensure that any issues that you may have will be taken care of in an orderly fashion. I appreciate her in so many ways. I truly am sad to see her leave but I am also happy for her growth! I pray her replacement is just as sweet as she is. You will be missed Tracie!

Wish I could give this place more stars! Hands down the best place Ive lived in. With my job Ive seen hundreds of apartment complexes and management, this place has by far the best combination Ive ever experience. The staff is the cornerstone of this place and CAF should make sure they are taken care of. Maintenance team is solid, very respectful. I toured the places around it and even though this one is more expensive, it is completely worth it. Props to the whole team on this complex, Sonia you made me feel at home.

I have lived here for many years, the current staff here is HORRIBLE. Tracie was a great member of the team.You have to call multiple times to get someone to answer the phone. Don’t be lied by the few reviews on the this apt. Scam !!! Due to COVID they insisted that I should pay everything including rent before I move inn, I mean no viewing/ or virtual tour of the apt . on the material day of moving they instead of paying the rent first before seeing the actual apt of which I did. We were given the key to the apt, after touring I didn’t like the apartment so I returned the key the office and requested them to return my cash. guess what ?? The manager said β€œ we will not return even a single dollar”. Is now almost 5 months I have never received my refund. cant wait until all this menace of COVID to end and sue them.....DONT RENT HERE !!!!

Just moved back to Texas from Georgia and chose this place. It’s nice and clean and in a convenient location. Tiffany is the first person you see when you go into the office and she is THE BEST help that you could ask for. Since the new management has began especially Tiffany leasing agent the changes have been amazing. Tiffany goes above and beyond with whatever needs to be done. Terrible place to live, the new administration does not take care of the facilities of the place, we report what is deteriorating and they do not change it, The gates are open all the time, once there was a shootout of criminals who wanted to enter but the gates were closed and the gates were fired upon. Today was a game changer for me here at Hunters Cove. we tend to complain and not give people credit when they are right or when they do something great. Well Veronica did something great for me today. That was just being professional and totally amazing. OMG and i love her vibe!! i can tell this manager really cares about her property. She sent us an email on house rules as a friendly reminder of thigs we can do to keep our home looking amazing. Stop by and visit and see how great the staff is here. and i am an amazing neighbor. thank you CAF for all you do !!! i only removed one star because of some of the potholes in drive way. other than that, i love it here.

I moved here from Michigan with no where to go because my original apartment fell through, but Tiffany was more than happy to help. She got me moved in the next day and followed up thereafter. Overall, the office staff as well as the maintenance are very attentive. The complex is well kept, and safe.Even though I don’t have the best view, I love the amenities my one bedroom offers (high ceilings, stainless steel appliances, w/d, fireplace, etc..) I’ve had a good experience so far.

New management is great. They are thoughtful, helpful, nice and caring. The fact that Ive been here for 3yrs now and they have put on more events in the past few months than the previous owners have in 2yrs speaks to how they want this community to grow. They have fixed potholes in the pavement, working on the security gates, renovating all the apartments to create a more current and modern feel. Probably one of the better properties Ive been to since moving to Dallas.

Too much domestic abuse and bad people living there. Trash always on the roads and In the grass. Neighbors slashed our tires and maintenance NEVER does their job. Throughout an entire year of living there, there were things they never fixed, we got an apartment that wasn’t even ready for us. Made numerous attempts to get maintenance to fix leaking pipes in the wall, leaking ceilings, molded tiles, but they never came. We hated every day living there.

I put my deposit on my apartment more than 30 days before my scheduled move in. I called them several times a week for 3 weeks asking will the apartment be ready due to CoVid-19. Everyone assured me it would be ready but couldn’t give me a date so I could come walk it. They always said I’m talking to maintenance about it and I’ll give you a call back. It’s like that was a response the were trained to give. I should have backed out then but I just knew they would tell me if they were having a hard time with my apartment and it wouldn’t be ready. I spoke to someone over the phone the Friday before I moved to sign my lease online before I came in the next day to get my keys and she didn’t say anything about there being an issue with my apartment. I went there at 10:30 am to get my key because my movers were scheduled to be at my apartment by 12:00pm. I was told my apartment would not be ready until the end of the day. I also saw another lady there experiencing the same thing. The manager assured me it would be ready by the next day at 1:00pm. It wasn’t. I showed up Monday and it was also my rescheduled date for my movers that I had to repay a deposit for. Apartment was still not ready. They promised to change the doors in my apartment, blinds and fix my ceiling fan by the end of the week. Nothing has been fixed. She’s blaming it on CoVid-19 and I would be more understanding about it BUT she knew they would not be able to do this before I moved in and she admitted it mistakenly. I told her I could just get my deposit back but they promised these things would be fixed. After just speaking with them she was so rude and told me there’s nothing we can do and that I shouldn’t have moved into the apartment this way. Lol. She’s right! And walked away and left me standing there. PLEASE RUN FAR AWAY FROM THESE APARTMENTS IF YOU ARE LOOKING.

Way too overpriced for what it is worth. On top of that they charge you for every little thing possible. The apartment is very bad built. We have a fully renovated unit and there are several things that definitely arent up to date or were VERY carelessly put together, like our baseboards below the kitchen and bathroom sink, they are staggered on top of one another. Part of this fully renovated unit is a framed mirror in the bathroom. Ours has no frame and we were promised it would have been installed months ago when we initially moved in. We reached out about the mirror again while reaching out about our pipes under our kitchen sink flooding the entire dining room and kitchen because they werent tightened and we still to this day have an unframed mirror. Now they are wanting all of the residents to spend $50 on a remote for the gates that we didnt ask for or want. I live with my boyfriend so I am assuming this means $50 each remote? So for us it would be $100. Yeah, no. Not happening. What is wrong with the gate code? Plus nothing was brought up about returning these remotes when we decide to leave, so do we get our money back at the end of our lease? Because I sure as hell am not renewing my lease here. Also, if you have dogs and think the fenced yard is a good idea, they dont tell you this but you are charged $100 if you have any feces at all in YOUR backyard, but theyre quick to use the fenced yard as a sales pitch if you are a dog owner. We have two dogs and we were both in a rush to work that morning and didnt pick up two pieces of feces in OUR FENCED BACKYARD THAT WE PAY FOR and I got a call later on that we were being charged $100 for two pieces of feces. I would have chosen a regular apartment and walk my dogs every time they needed to use the bathroom over this place any day if only I wouldve known. I wish I would have trusted the reviews before signing my lease.

All in all pretty satisfied with these apartments and the management my only note would be if they’re charging people between 900-1200 to stay in these apartments the least they could do is make sure the washers and dryers in the laundry room are working and honestly they need brand new machines that would be the only request for them to change

I moved in last October. Before the new management and owners took over. My apartment was filthy. I put in several service request for items that needed to be done. One of these included an oven element. I waited 2 1/2 months for the oven element. They did not even attempt to do any other repairs until the new property management was taking over. It became a joke going to the office to ask for anything to be done. The new management put fences around our patios and my husband became disabled and in need of a wheelchair and a walker the new manager stayed on top of the contractors to get a gate put on my back patio. Anytime we have a request the new management jumped into action and takes care of it. In my opinion they have gone above and beyond our expectations and really made it truly a community and Home.

This place does not care about tenant safety or personal belongings. The gates have not been working for a long time. But the company seems that a remodeled office and remodeled pool and lounge area are more important than its tenants safety and damage to tenant vehicles. Beware potential tenants. Over priced units. No peace of mind at night when you are asleep. Management claims there are courtesy officers, but yet to see anybody patrolling the property. If I could give zero stars I definitely would. Do not rent here. Your safety is not a concern. Currently dealing with a SECOND attempted theft of a vehicle in less than a year. But according to management thats a risk we all take. True, but what measures are in place to deter this from happening? NOTHING. Management and maintenance will let broken glass sit all over parking spots for more than a week. Shouldnt this have been spotted by maintenance or a courtesy officer? Just saying.

They have Roaches super bad as people move out you will notice! The kitchens are tiny no matter how many bedrooms. The pools don’t open until mid summer! I had an extremely serious issue where my concrete stairs were becoming detached from my porch! I called corporate several times never responded! One day later they came and brought a dishwasher without notice and no ETA on the repair for stairs. The gates have not worked in at least a decade!! They’re pipes are out dated and my water heater busted in my closet ( yea water heaters are in closets) and it’s your responsibility if your items get damaged can not be claimed on insurance! The water pipes are so outdated you will need to purchase special hoses for your own washer and dryer units! I’m guessing they raised the Rent to offer washers and dryers! Also be careful with your own washer and dryer units if they are older than 2000 year models chances are you have heat restrictions or your power could go off on every dry cycle! They are high crime area too I’ve seen guns pulled early in the morning, im guessing anyone can be a tenant there! They pick and choose when they want to tow! They will Tow a running working vehicle before a totaled one that’s waiting on an insurance claim! The peep hole on some doors are 6ft plus, I asked them could they add a lower one they said no that that’s Just how they are. These are real events by a former tenant! Just trying to get on your feet on the ground or new to the area yea give them a try but whatever you do don’t renew! It gets worse with renewal! Every year and a half it’s under new management! Good luck future Tenants! You’re going to need it along with time and patience and money and possibly a therapist!

They tried to charge us for damages done by a burglary.Take forever to get anything fixed.A window in our living room got broken, and they were going to make us live with a giant hole in our window for a week with no repairs.Our neighbors would constantly shoot guns off.Cops are there weekly, if not twice a week, at least.Say our deposit in non-refundable.And in general the women in the office are lazy, refuse to do their jobs, and find every way possible to charge you more.The maintenance man deserves more than hes making. Hes sweet, does his job. When our house was broken into, the back door was made useless. They told him to just half-ass the job to make it function for the night and do it properly later.

I’ve been a tenant at Hunters Cove for 8 years within the 8 years we’ve had numerous new management come in and out, cafmanagment has by far been the best. Cafmanagment has been here not even 6 months and the changes have been amazing, I now can pay online and be informed of changes immediately through email. I have been at Hunters Cove through 3 different Managment Companies. CAF is head and shoulders over every other one.Like any Apartment complex there will be maintenance problems. The Difference with the Office Staff and especially Mrs Hall is how they respond and take ownership of your problem. I like how they follow up until the corrective action is in place. I wish the Utility Companies followed this type of leadership that the entire staff at Hunters Cove is exhibiting. Thank you all for all that you are doing for the community and for staying Proffesional throughout the process.

I’ve been at Hunters Cove since 2012 and seen many come and go... Hoping this management team is here to stay... Thermostat hasn’t worked in past few years but past maintenance always said and I quote β€œDon’t look at that. It’s not reading right. Just keep it on 68 degrees.” Then would change the outside filter and close out my ticket. A few weeks ago the new management sent maintenance man Horacio over. He looked at my old thermostat and Immediately replaced it. The new one read 86 degrees even though my air had been on 60 degrees for the past 4 days straight. Horacio came back first thing the next morning like he promised and the thermostat was still reading 82 degrees. He did not stop working on the issue until my apartment read 70 degrees. It continued to drop even after he left. 2 thumbs up to Horacio and his dedication to his job and tenants. Next I’ll work on getting this rusted, broke stove out of my apartment. Will keep you posted on the outcome...

The only reason I’m giving this apartment 2 stars is because the maintenance man is very kind and does his work quickly. However, the front desk ladies spend about 3-4 days to put in the maintenance request, if they ever do. Plus that poor maintenance man had his work cut out for him since the apartments are literally falling apart. In the 2 years I lived here (partially my fault since I definitely should have moved out after a year since the apartments are awful) our hot water heater broke, our dishwasher broke (and it took an entire month for the front desk ladies to order one in), our garbage disposal broke twice, we had a total or 3 leaks occur in various sinks, and our A/C was so bad that we had to purchase our own window unit to cool off the upstairs. Not to harp on the front desk ladies too much, but honestly they’re awful.... I would look to see that a package I ordered was in and then I would go up and ask for it. 50% of the time they would say β€œthere’s no package for you” without even looking. I would explain that I need them to double check because it says it was delivered and then they finally would reluctantly go look for it. When moving in they said that whenever there was a package they would leave a note on your door to notify you. Don’t fall for it. Never once did I get a note.All in all.... just don’t live here if you can help it. It’s bad.

Location is perfect. Management tries to work with situations until it’s the deadline! After upgrading I was not ok with some of the things I allowed in the first year! Some fees are just robbery. I have a dumpster literally 10 or less steps from my front door plus the one to my left and around the curve to my right. However, I was told that MY $300, for lease term, I have no choice in the matter for valet trash! $25 extra monthly for a service I’ve yet to see and DON’T need! My LEGS NOT BROKE. I WORK 7days 80 hrs/wk. Plus I have a son who has chores! THANKS! The old management charged the same and never did I see a company for my trash! I have even tested it by putting my out for a week to see it untouched! Remove the dumpster if you just going to charge me anyway! Called corporate no calls answered or no returned calls on this issue! Have a washer and dryer and not sure if I can remove theirs out, at $50 monthly, so I can have my OWN! My bathroom door doesn’t even fit the frame! READ LEASE AGREEMENT AND ASK RIGHT QUESTIONS BEFORE SIGNING OR RENEWING! Don’t dare break your lease! ACCELERATED RENT means YOU WILL BE CHARGED FULL RENT EVERY MONTH IN THAT APT YOU ABANDON UNTIL SOMEONE ELSE RENTS THAT APT! WOW THESE TERMS HAVE CHANGED OVER THE YEARS! DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APTS OR ANY OTHERS IF YOU CAN AFFORD TO EVEN RENT A HOUSE! PULL YOUR FINANCES TOGETHER AND LOOK FOR WAY BETTER OPTIONS THAN A 1 bd for OVER $1,030 monthly especially when my 2bd is $1250! Have no issue informing what real life is for a healthcare provider, single mom, 2 full time jobs, full time student, and who has a real PROBLEM WHEN PEOPLE WANT TO SEND MY MONEY FOR ME AND TELL ME OH WELL IT’S THE CONTRACT, that they only go into grave detail about once you start to notice the BS! Recently the apartments I stay at changed management and theres been major improvements and its only been a few months. I moved in 10/2018 and just recently upgraded to the one bedroom with a den. My experience with Dayrise management was challenging to say the least (the previous managers) staff used to be completely rude except for one (Tashia I still love you!) I honestly used to feel mistreated and was even yelled at by one of the staff. Yes, yelled at, because I kindly asked to see a document of what Id been paying for. Upon move in, they even forgot to give me a toilet paper roll and the renovations my back wood railing had a huge hole in it. So what am I paying you my hard earned money for? To be yelled at? I was seriously considering moving.Since the new management came in, theyve replaced our falling apart porch railings, fenced in downstairs backyards, trim trees, got us a better trash valet, a bunch of painting both outside and in and the apartment Im moving into is fully renovated. The apartment across the way has been getting worked on for WEEKS, they are getting it in tip top shape for the next tenants. The new leading lady Jordyn has been very sweet to me this entire process of my upgrading, she is always helpful and a breathe of fresh air from how I was being treated. Im excited for my new apartment and look forward to staying here until I finish saving up for my first house :)

So it’s been more than two weeks since I’ve posted a few things on my list about this place. But since the owner was sooo concerned about my situation ( wink wink) thanks for posting a non working phone number that I can call and further express and explain like you soooo requested. One of the three families who won’t be signing a lease with you took just a few pics of the pool that doesn’t have any handicap access, I guess that’s not important, having the garbage truck wake up the neighborhood at 5:45am, thats important.

I love these apartments they are so clean and pretty and they have good staff that are willing to do anything you ask especially Teja she is very nice and she actually knows how to do her job like if something aint right she will fix it. especially if a resident needs help shes the person to go to like she got you covered.

I was scheduled to move in on a Wednesday and my apartment wasnt ready until Friday I want to see my apartment before I purchase renters Insurance and lights when i returned with $687 in fees & account numbers for renters insurance & lights they told me I couldnt move in because my rental insurance wouldnt start until Sunday they were closed on Sunday so I will have to wait until Monday. Monday being the 25th I will have to pay the normal rent of 900 which was never told to me plus Octobers rent please dont waste your time or your $260 for application, administration and hold fees this by far was the worst experience of my life

Not concerned about needs of tenants. Takes the multiple work orders to get a single problem fixed. Says they are under new management but the problems continue. Does a wonderful job of letting you know when rent is due via newsletter stapled to the door. Gate has been broken for 8 months now. For price of apartments more should be given to their customers. The office staff is very rude and unprofessional. I spoke to someone Tuesday afternoon at 5:45 and the office closes at 6. They told me over the phone they had three apartments ready for move in. When we got there the next morning they supposedly had no apartments ready for two weeks.

Wow, I was looking at possibly renting here but the bad reviews cant be ingnored. Sounds like the office staff is the issue because there are tons of complaints about them. Reviews matter to potential renters and the issues described have certainly persuaded me to look elsewhere.. which is too bad. Ill keep looking... I gave a midle (neutral) rating only because a rating was requird and didnt want to positively or negatively impact the overall rating since I have no experience with this property.

New mngtmt worse than the old. Maintenance speaks little English and very rude. Sewage leak from work upstairs leaking into my apartment the smell is horrible and Im the victim who has to clean it up. Mngmnt very unapologetic instead excuses for maintenance not doin their job. Renewed lease with hopes of better treatment. Oh well at least they got us DRUNK when they introduced themselves as New Managers.

I d rather put no stars at all if it was possible.Leasing office stuff is worthless and never care about their tenants or their needs. Fence is broken, gates are open, and have never been fixed for at least a year and a half, at least 2 neighbours of mine were robbed here, stray dogs walk around, leasing office simply set them free, in fact i had to protect my neighbour from them a day ago, all the lawns are in dogs feeces, the only good thing they do is collect rent in time, otherwise penalties or eviction notice, there is too much to list here, i dont understand why TAA never shut them down or came here.Disgusting!!!!
