I got a pedicure. It looked good when I was done, and they threw in the remaining polish, as it was a color they were keeping.But better communication would have helped a lot. She didnt ask before she cut my first nail too short...I was caught off guard as I had already trimmed them to the length I wanted.She pulled a piece of skin off that hurt and caused bleeding, and though I yelped, she never apologized.My massage concentrated on my legs, though I tried to tell her I wanted my feet massaged, not my legs.It certainly could have been better.

Great place to get your nails done awesome family-owned business

This was one of the worst experiences I had getting my nails done. Every nail is a different shape and size nevermind the fact that they are insanely thick and now a week later are all completely chipped off around the edges at the cuticle. I was cut pretty bad not once but twice. Several of the nails are completely slanted.

Heard good things about this place, went to try it out and the lady who did my nails cut my cudicles to far back and I was bleeding on both thumbs, both ring fingers and both of my pinkies. Had her look at a design I had picked out that I wanted for fall season, and they look alright, not the worst, not the best. Price was 80$. A little to expensive for a couple jewels and a couple leaves. Probably wont return. Other than that service was good, and clean.

I got both a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was great but i got my nails done by the mom and was burned and it broke the skin. My pointer finger on my left hand has been bleeding. I do not recommend.

When i went in they were nice,but the guy who did my nails cut the sides and ups of my fingers open then put clear nail polish over those cuts,my nails didn’t look like the coffin shape it looks like the nail was just cut no shaping done,the nail polish was cheaply applied,it’s all chunky and streaky,he also caused 3 of my nails to sting in pain. i’m never coming here again

I was burned multiple times while using sanding the acrylic on my nail and eventually started bleeding. My friends nails were not painted evenly either. Pretty bummed out.

As always, theyre amazing. Helen did my toes and did them perfectly.

I had a great experience. I usually dont treat myself to a pedicure, but I did today on a whim and she fit me right in even though appointments are recommended. The lady who did my feet was so sweet. It wasnt overwhelming busy or smelly with fake nail chemicals. I really enjoyed it and will definitely go back for some more pampering.

Kathy is THE BEST nail tech I have EVER went to!!!! As a nail tech myself I am very picky with how my nails are shaped, filed and designed and very picky with sanitation..... She is meticulous in her work! I do not let anyone but her touch my nails..... She keeps her shop clean and has me in and out in no time and never lets me leave unhappy! If you want your nails looking like a million bucks I would highly recommend seeing her, she not only is AMAZING at her job but loves what she does and loves her clients, best shop on the western slope hands down💗💗💗

Kathy and her entire staff were accommodating, efficient and professional; which is ever more appreciated during the Christmas Season!I told her I’ve lived in my town for over a year and I still haven’t met MY technician. She’s a joy to be around as well as incredibly talented in this industry. Her passion makes her work that much harder to please her clients, and the building was packed. This is my first review, I just had to go on and applaud this individual for her business, and her relationships with her clients. This place is by far the best nail salon ever they do amazing work and gave great customer service. Contrary to the bad reviews people left they are not in the least bit rude. Kathy, Phillip, her mother, father and everyone else who works there are very kind and generous. Kathy can do any kind of design that you want and Phillip is very good at doing designs as well. I have been going to her for over 4 years and I will never go to another nail salon ever again.

I have personally know Kathy for years and I have gone to her for pedicures, manicures, and fake nails. She always does an amazing job on my nails. Even if she is busy with another customer and I want a spacific design she will come over and do it for me. I took my mother in law to her to get her nails done for her birthday and she loved it. Even told me she wants to go back. I am getting married in 3 weeks and am very excited to go to Kathys Nails and get a set of acrylics done with some of my bridesmaids. I dont know why so many people are leaving rude comments because every time I have been in Kathys shop she is always nice, even on the phone while she is trying to do nails. all those who work for her (her mom, dad, and brother) are also super friendly. I can only think so many people are being rude because they were rude when they went into the shop. Kathy is great! I have never had any issues with her or her business. I suggest you go and try her out because her family does amazing work and her and her brother do amazing nail designs. Its a very family friendly place. The last time I was as there she had a section of wall with prom and wedding pictures from customers she did nails for.

BEWARE! I went in for a simple pedicure. Without asking, the woman who cut my toenails cut each of them all the way down to where they meet the skin. On one big toe she cut the nail in from the top and yanked the nail out with brute force. It was extremely painful and would not stop bleeding regardless of what she tried. When I walked out all my toes hurt and I was appalled to see how short and improperly they had been cut. Within 4 days I had a swollen foot from an infected big toe. Upon seeing the toe, my doctor said what had been done is a surgical procedure that should only be performed in a sterilized setting where blood vessels can be cauterized. I had to be on anti-biotics for 10 days and do Epsom salt soakings twice a day.Up to this experience I have had no ingrown toenails or any problems with my nails. Now I must be careful as my nails grow out to avoid future ingrown toenails. As to customer care, when I let Kathy know about my experience she made excuses for the woman and, although I did not ask for one, she said that they do not give refunds. The pedicure was15 days ago and my toe still hurts.

Several years ago I started getting my nails done here. I wont go anywhere else. Just wish Id been going here all along. Everyone here is good. I especially like having Philip design something for me each time I go in!

I have no complaints about the pedicure service. It was very, very good. However, did you know that MEN are charged $5.00 extra? Tuesdays are supposed to be discounted, with pedicures being $15.00, but, if youre a man, you will be charged $20.00 (regular price is $25.00). The explanation I was given was that mens feet take more work than womens do. I think thats discriminatory, big time, and theres absolutely no signage anywhere that explains it. Ive encountered it one other time in Grand Junction, so is this a common practice? Hit a man up for 5-bucks extra, AFTER the pedicures done? Not fair!

My first two experiences were alright but my last one was quite poor. My fingers were torn up pretty bad and hurt for several days. The mother was paying more attention to other things rather than doing my nails. She literally got on the phone and CALLED SOMEONE and was on the phone doing my nails. Twice. My nails are uneven, and oddly shaped, they were supposed to be coffin shaped and she didnt even shape them properly. Will not be going back.

I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else for my feet. Im very choosy of who I will let touch my feet and Alex is my guy! He has been wonderful and always accommodating when i request him at my appointment.

This will be the last time I ever go here. I have went multiple times and there has only been one time I ever liked the work. Today was the last time I will EVER go again. Both my friend and I decided to go because it was going to be a gift for me. We set a appointment for both a manicure and a pedicure. They set us both down and it was a very nice to begin with. Then my friend kept flinching as they were cutting away at her nail, she said ouch multiple times, and even went home with her toe nails bleeding. Both the files for feet and hands were used before they even reached us. Then when it came time for our manicures I was excited it had been a while since I had acrylics, the guy who did them, rushed since he was interrupted from his shows. I had said I wanted acrylic and he gave me a look and told me my nails were to thin, and that they need to be stronger and then just started painting away. He rushed that also, when he put the last coat of clear on my hands he pushed my hands in front of the fan said thank you, stalking back to his seat in the back pulling his phone out. My nails were left with bubbles under the varnish and and were not painted evenly. $70 dollars was over rated for this hack job. This wasnt the first time that I had to go home and fix my nails and really I shouldnt of had to. All you have to do is look at her portfolios to see the sloppy work that they sends people home with. There are only one-to-two people who are even worth going to there. That would be the brothers.

Helen does a very good job with my gel nails and a soothing massage. The prices are good and the shop is conveniently located next to the grocery store!

Did a great job on a mani/pedi and made sure I was satisfied. Manicure lasted about 4 to 5 days without chipping (regular polish and Im hard on my nails), and pedicure is nearly 3 weeks out and still looks good. My only complaint is that many of the polishes seem pretty old.

There were three of us getting our nails done. They cleaned and cut hang nails off the others but just only cut and painted mine. I didnt like you had to hold your hands up in air in front of a fan rather then down under a dryer.

This place had horrible customer service. Kathy is extremely rude and doesnt care for the customer emotions . Frankly Im surprised this bios mess is still running with the terrible customer service not to mention my nails chipped four times and this didnt just happen to me. My teacher went in and had the same service! She went in twice for her nails to be fixed and Kathy yelled at hat and made her cry then continued to tell her how bad of a customer my teacher was even though she said nothing

I had a pedicure and manicure done here. They rushed and clipped nails at funny angles that made them sharp. They are not very sanitary. They use the same nail file and tools on everyone without sanitation in between. They are extremely rough with your feet. I will not being going back to them after my experience.

Horrible pedicure! First he cut my toenails with cuticle trimmers too short and uneven, didnt push cuticles back. Next came the terrible paint job, he tried to fix by adding more paint which made it look worse. Thought at least my feet would be soft, nope not even that! Would never go back, lacks genuine customer care!

So disapointing i got my nails done with gel nail polish and they chipped of after the first day and i did not even do anything to chip them i came back a couple times after that and they still chipped after that. on top of that the service there was extremely rude and made me feel quite angry and sad that this was an actual buissness that treated their customers like that most succseful buissneses have a good motto which is the customer is always right even if you THINK they are wrong clearly this buissnes did not have that motto i recommend going somewhere that treats their customers right
