I live on E1/2 road.. I now know the people with my same number on F1/2, E, and D1/2 because we exchange our mail so often.. How hard is it to actually READ the addresses?? I had a metal detector that they said was delivered to individual 2 days ago.. They HAD to sign for it... Huh? Well, SOMEONE is enjoying it now.. My neighbor has a missing custom firearm part.. Been at this address for 13 years and its a running joke in Fruitvale about these guys... We all pretty much know each other because WE have to play Post Office with our neighbors....
How many days does a package take to be delivered? Apparently we drive around on a gj usps truck until the driver feels like doing his job. When you try to call they just pick up and instantly hang up on you. For what you people get paid you should take some pride in your job. Will be reporting you to the post master.
Tia is the best. It is rare these days to find folks who truly go above and beyond to help their customers, but she did just that. I had never stepped into this post office until I got an undeliverable mail tag on my door as I do not have a mailbox at my house. Tia not only helped me track down my packages that seemed to be lost in postal purgatory, she also helped me through the process on setting up mail delivery at my house. I couldnt be happier!!
Having had a family member as a postmaster, I know it is an extremely stressful job. Things are often fast paced. We are so lucky to have Tia and the rest of the staff at our post office! The mood in the lobby is light and patient. Tia is there working in the lobby almost every time I am in. She knows her customers well and asked them how things are with genuine interest. If she is not, one of the other helpful staff members are. Having lived in other states and visited many other postal locations {full of stress and frustration}; I just want to express my gratitude to our community members who patiently wait in line, and to an awesome staff that give service with a true smile!
I am always greeted with a friendly face! This crew goes above and beyond. They remember you. I am moving but I will still use this post office.
Awful work, I was told by the rep that I needed to buy tape for my package and I told him that I could just get it out of my car bc I forgot how the post office rolls... he proceeded to tell me that hed make an exception and taped it himself. The college I was sending books back to informed me that they never received the books and that I owed them $90. I then found my receipt and tracked the package and found out that it was lost since being sent 2 months ago. Par for the course US Post office...
The BEST post office in Grand Junction. Went there right before closing yesterday and the staff were so courteous and helpful. Truly appreciate Kyle going out of his way to help me find the more cost-effective way to ship my package as Ive never shipped with USPS before. Definitely will be back! So much better than the downtown branch, plus they have better parking and shorter lines!
I’ve called this location exactly 26 times and have yet to get anyone to answer the phone. A package should of been delivered 3 months ago, I’ve filled 3 lost package forms online and have yet to get any feedback.
My tracking history on a package shows my package has been in town for two entire days and I dont have it. I called multiple times and no response whatsoever and a full mailbox on their voicemail. Just so you know, I just ordered a backpack off Ebay so I dont understand why its not here yet!
The Staff Is Great- Tia And Steph Go Outta Their Way To Make Sure You Get Your Packages And They Are Just Wonderful To See Every Day!
Tell your drivers that tailgating a civilian while driving a US postal vehicle is not a wise habit to fall into. If theyre running behind they need to find a better way to full fill their quota or find a different job.
Both lovely ladies are always friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. I have always been treated with kindness and a smile. The simple fact that they take the time to know most people by name and make you feel like family will keep me coming back!! Amazing ladies!!
Let’s face it, government agencies aren’t known for their customer service. This little post office in Fruitvale is a major exception. I am in this post office two or three times a week mailing packages internationally which is not an easy task for the clerk. I go out of my way and drive right past the downtown post office to do business at this office because of the friendly and professional customer service. The two ladies that work there on a regular basis are always friendly, helpful and professional. It must be in the air there because even the substitute employees take on the same excellent customer service when they’re in this office. I see negative reviews here based on people being ill prepared with their package. Postal employees can’t package your goods while the rest of us, who have come prepared, wait in line. I’m guessing the post office doesn’t have the budget to babysit people who go in expecting to be waited on like they’re at an all inclusive resort. I give this branch six out of five stars.
All of the people at this post office were extremely friendly, funny and helpful. I want to especially thank Tia! I was having such a rough day and she went out of her way to help me personally. She even got a couple of other people to go out of their way to help me out. I wish we had more people like this working with people. She was so nice, and she even cracked me up and cheered me up. This team should be sent to the GWS office to help the gentleman there get some manners (only the man there, the lady that works there is super nice). Tia thank you so much!! ❤
My favorite post office! Employees are fast and friendly, are always smiling, and are extremely helpful. Tia is absolutely amazing! Ive heard a room full of customers talk about how friendly and fun she is At her job!
I just want to say how great my experience with Tia was, she was very helpful especially since my package was difficult and needing a bunch of information to send in for a warranty return.
Always great service and beautiful people
I am absolutely appalled and the treatment of my Grandma here. She went in to send a pair of glasses and a few other items to my sister in Scotland before she comes back to America. Her glasses got broke over there and she didnt have an extra pair, we needed to get her some before she has to go through the airport. The first lady she got was amazing and helped her out and when she came back to mail the package the other lady promptly told her she doesnt need all of that and to move and go fill out her forms because there is a line building. She needed to make sure everything was okay to go through and even brought all the receipts because when she looked online that what she was told to bring. The lady then said out loud Dont worry about her, shes just doing her homework. She didnt help, she was mean to her, and then humiliated her when she just needed to send a package. Now our package is held up IN CUSTOMS BECAUSE SHE WOULDNT HELP HER OR MAKE SURE SHE HAD EVERYTHING CORRECTLY. Im so angry at the poor treatment of anyone, but my grandma who just needed help? Dont go here unless you want your packages messed up all while getting humiliated.
This has always been my first pick out all post offices in town....Ill drive across town to go there! Especially Tia she is a doll... Great service n people 5stars all the way!
Package was received according to tracking number on the 8th. Then it just drove around junction for a whole day. Third day still not delivered. Good job for the lazy and entitled.
Super helpful and patient....even as they were closing!
Nice and friendly staff. Having working for the Post Office its not easy having to deal with customers. Customers do not realize that the staff has procedures that they must follow and that they can have a postal inspector at their post office at any given time and they will not know who they are. If they do something wrong, they can be fired on the spot.If they don’t answer the phone its due to they are busy with a customer, they are putting up the mail in boxes, scanning mail in, scanning the delivery person in or out. There is so much they must do now that the post office has gone to scanning everything. It time so much of their time.So please be patient with your Postal personal, it may not be there fault.
Every single time I have been in to this location I never leave in a bad mood or disatisfied all thanks to the AMAZING attitude wonderful smile and willingness to assist from TIA, Tia goes above and beyond to be more like a friend than just a next type of employee!!!! Not to mention quick service she definitely knows how to do her job
Tia at the Fruitvale Post Office is a miracle worker. I ordered the the only present I was getting my children for Christmas this year, almost 3 weeks earlier and it was scheduled to arrive on the 12th. Come the day before our celebration, the package had not arrived. Needless to say, I was very stressed and more than a little sad that my kids wouldnt be receiving their present from Dad on time. I stopped by the post office to check on the status and Tia asked me to leave my information, saying she would look into it. (The post office was packed at the moment and she was being so warm and friendly to everyone there, so I was completely fine letting her get to it at a better time for her). Later that evening, I had not heard back from her. I was getting a little depressed and my sister asked what I was gonna do. I told her, at this point all I can do is hope for a Christmas miracle. The next day my family celebrated Christmas, and sure enough my kids wondered where the present from Dad was. I had been getting them so hyped up over the present and come time to deliver it was a huge let down. I told them that it would come and theyd have to be patient. We were all a little sad, but they dealt with it and were thankful to be with family and for what they had. Literally, right after talking to them about what happened, I looked at my phone and realized I had missed a call. The number then called again as I was looking at my phone. I answered. It was Tia, from the Fruitvale Post Office. She was calling to let me know that she thought she might have tracked down the package and she was headed to the facility where she believed it was. She told me to standby and shed let me know if she found it. What seemed like an eternity crept by, as time does when youre waiting so anxiously for good news, when out of the blue the doorbell rang. Sure enough it was our very own Christmas miracle. I was speechless at first. I didnt know how to thank her enough. My kids were so happy! Unfortunately one tried to take it from me and start opening it and didnt even say thank you so I threw it in the trash. Just kidding lol i have a weird sense of humor 😅 Actually I gave it to them to open and they were ecstatic! I really cant say thank you enough to Tia for making this happen. It has truly made my heart swell with joy!! Thank you so much Tia. Thank you thank you thank you thank you!
Fruitvale is the best post office you can go to in or anywhere near Junction. Any one star reviews here are a direct fault of the lazy, ignorant customers giving them. The ladies there are the hardest working Postal employees I’ve ever known. They do not deserve to be treated like garbage because you are upset that you can’t understand how to do something properly, or cannot follow simple directions, or are just plain lazy. Explaining and repeating what needs to be done in order to send something by USPS does not qualify as “attitude.” It is the United States Postal Service, not the “Let Us Do Everything For You Shipping Service.” Fruitvale is a satellite office. Unfortunately, they do not have the staff to take care of 3 registers worth of ignorant people AND answer the phone. The customer standing in line with money in hand takes precedence over the customer calling on the phone - Do not hold that against them. The phone gets answered if/when someone is available to do so. I’d suggest calling the main branch if you need to speak with someone on the phone. Thank you for your GREAT service, 81504!
Tia made my experience great— efficient and even fun. :-)
Horrible customer service. I brought a package to ship back to the manufacturer for a second time after they sent it right back to my house a couple days later to no fault of our own. I was told I should go home and add put newspaper in the package so it doesnt break which I appreciated but wonder why they couldnt do it. I came back the next day and tried sending it again and the lady said you didnt package it with an extreme amount of attitude before she even saw that I put newspaper in there and I was appalled at how sassy and rude she was to me. I am so frustrated. I dont recommend this post office at all. And if you go make sure you dont talk to Tia.
The 2 clowns working there remind me of a trip to the circus. Both are incompetent. Unprofessional. Extremely rude. UNTRAINED. UNDERQUALIFIED AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
The staff keeps the line moving! Always a positive experience!
Everyday the mail gets delivered later and later.
Gladys wouldn’t let me use 2 cents worth of packing tape to tape a box shut when there was a roll literally 2 feet away from her. Instead she charged me 3.75 for a roll that would have been $1.00 anywhere else. Terrible wait lines too.
Helped ship my packages.
Quick service!
Had a package delivered from Amazon, package was ripped open and some of the contents were missing when I received it. Thanks a bunch.
Nice folks, fast service. I like this PO.
Dont ever answer the phone
This is the worst post office ever, if I could rate it -100 I would, they r rude for no reason and they need to learn to answer the damn phone, I have tried multiple times on multiple days and I have never got any one to answer the phone, something needs to be done about this and I will be making a compliant on this post office
Great people and service
Small n fast
Very helpful
