I will never use FedEx for volume freight shipments again. Although their price was the lowest on the route I was shipping, they have an attitude, from the terminal manager and customer service agents, and even including the driver, that because they offer such a low discount, they can get my freight to me whenever they want. In other words no idea when you can expect your shipment. My shipment (6 pallets, 11,500 lbs.) sat at the local terminal for 4 days because they said they didnt have any drivers to spare. When I asked the delivery driver if the if they were short drivers he was non-committal, and then he repeated more or less what the CS agents and manager said, that because it was a volume shipment, they could deliver it whenever they wanted. It took me calling the terminal, speaking with the manager, and then telling them I would come and pick it up myself, before they decided they would get it to me. Then they even set up an appointment to deliver so I waited until 6pm, but they never showed until the following day at 12:30pm. Maybe its just the Grand Junction terminal, since the load seemed to move across the country at normal speed up to that point. However, there are too many other choices when it comes to freight carriers. I will pay a little more for reliable service.
Service there is always prompt
I used to own a small business and always struggled with your freight center in Grand Junction CO. That business was sold and I am just beginning a new venture. I am reminded today why I stopped using FedEx freight with my old company. I had a delivery that was supposed to be delivered last week. It is it the boxes that I ship my product in, its important. It didnt come last week and I needed the boxes. It got to Fedex last Tuesday. I asked them on Thursday if I could come pick up the shipment because I really needed it for my orders to go out. I would drive an hour and a half to go get it no problem. I was told by the manager that they would not offload it, so driving up there would be a waste of time. They were holding my shipping boxes hostage... ridiculous. She told me that they would deliver them on Tuesday or they could maybe have them off the truck by Monday for me to pick up. I asked that she just please deliver it as I am running a small business. I had to come up with something else that looked VERY unprofessional which is NOT what I want. So today should be delivery day. They call me this morning to tell me that it will not get on the truck until Thursday??? Does this mean that it was never on the truck to begin with? I could have gotten it last week when I needed it if I just drove up there instead of being told I couldnt even pick up my own pallet. This freight center is a joke and I will not use them again. I am writing reviews anywhere I can online to help others avoid this center as well.

The guys we dealt with were awesome and willing to make sure we got what we came for even tho it hadnt been pulled from the truck yet.
I will not even give this company a star. They are the worst company to deal with. If you need to make sure your package is delivered in a timely manner, do not use these guys. I have waited for a week after spending almost a grand on shipping and still not received my goods. When you speak to a manager they claim their business model doesnt support customer service.
Great service you can typically expect at a FedEx Center the only issue is the elderly or handicap might have a problem with the parking lot entrance through a security turnstile. Personnel and service are great though
