We’ve had nothing but issues with the expediency and quality of repairs. We had to wait 3-4 weeks just to get a diagnosis, then another 4-6 for parts and repair. If that didn’t fix it the process starts over again. I’ve been waiting for my dishwasher to function properly again for 6 months. If you can avoid, do so.
Was able to make an appointment right away, the service guy was knowledgeable and able to fix the issue. He even took a look at the washer too just in case. Would definitely call them again.
The repair person was professional and timely. I appreciated the phone call, email, and text indicating that the repair person was on their way to my home. The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is the steep cost, but I am happy that I didnt have to purchase a new washing machine! So glad to have our washing machine back up and running.
The repairmen that came to my home did only what they could with the information that they had. I have a oven/microwave combo and the problem i had with it was that if the oven was on and you accidentally pushed the stop button on the microwave side it would turn the oven off and the same for if the microwave was running and you pushed the off button on the oven side it would turn the microwave off. So I have had situations when I was baking something in the oven and if the microwave was used and for whatever reason when they stopped the microwave before the time was up and pushed the stop button twice it would turn my oven off and the baking would STOP! It should not be that the microwave off button turns off the oven and the oven off button turns off the microwave. When the repairmen came out they replaced a computer board but it made no difference and they were thinking the problem was somewhere in the software when it was built. They had also never heard of this problem before but agreed with me that the oven OFF should not turn off the microwave and the microwave OFF should not turn off the oven. So this situation could maybe be looked into more thoroughly and let me know as a Kenmore Elite owner, what went wrong and where. A response would be greatly appreciated.Thank you,Colleen Hagen
After calling an 800 number through several prompts and commands I got to a live person. That person logged the call and also determined the part we needed that would be shipped ahead of time to our house, then set up the appointment for the service technician to come out. That would be 3 weeks later, 3 WEEKS later and only 1 certain day. No other choices and it would be between 8 and 5. We were going to be gone on that one and only day so had to arrange someone to be at our house between 8 and 5. They guy came and said he fixed it. We came home the next day, turned it on for a couple hours and then the next day, turned it on and it went out again, same as before. Went through the same prompts and commands to get to someone to find out it will be ANOTHER 3 weeks before someone can come out between 8 and 5. Really, they have 1 day every 3 weeks that someone can come out to do repairs. Then you have to be home to ANSWER the call when they call you between 8 and 5 because if you miss the call, then they wont come out. I will NEVER, repeat NEVER buy a service contract on anything at Sears. Buy another TV there...hmmm I dont think so.
We were able to have 1 person come take care of our washer, dryer and TV to maintain our warranty. When booking we were given a 1-5pm time frame, huge window. Day of service, technician actually called and gave a fairly accurate time of arrival!

We were very disappointed with our repair service. We waited 26 days to have our refrigerator compressor fixed. The part needing repair was still under warranty but we still were told they could not get there any sooner. They almost cancelled the initial visit because they were running behind after having us wait for their arrival between 8-4. We said no to more waiting so they came over at 6:30 - 8:00. Then, they did not bring the part so they had to reschedule but not for 3 weeks later. The repair person was on the phone seeking instructions during most of the repair. 26 days later, our fridge is working. Our local repair company responded within an hour of our calling but because of the warranty, we had to go with Sears. Once our warranty is off, we will seek local repairs. 26 days without a fridge is unacceptable.
We are very pleased with our Sears dryer repair. J was very helpful, polite and prompt and went the extra mile to get our repair done as soon as possible! Thanks!
The technician did not even start or drive my lawn mower to see what exactly was wrong with it. He looked At it, not in or underneath and looked around my yard and was able to determine what was wrong with it. Coincidentally, it happened to not be covered under my protection agreement. There were over $200.00 in charges for him to look at my yard and stare at the mower.
Can;t rate the person if they dont show up.
The repairman did a great job. My only problem was the customer service department. We gave them a phone number and the address and they still used the wrong number and wrong address.

Very disappointed as we had to wait a long time for appt then had to wait for a part & then wait a long time again for another appt & its still doesnt work & now have to wait a month to have them come back & im sure order a part & then wait forever again... super unhappy & very disappointed!
My Samsung TV has been randomly updating, locking up, and rebooting on and off for the past year. I had a 3 year Master Protection Agreement, so I called and have had service out 4 times total. They originally replaced the main board, which lessened the problem to only happening about twice a month. I called them out again later to see if they could finally fix it so it stopped happening. After 3 repair appointments, I have had to take 2 hours off from work and sit on the phone for over 2 hours total, only to have them tell me that my TV randomly locking up and rebooting while Im watching it is a feature and the TV is not broken. So because it is attempting to update, there is nothing wrong with it. I used to work at Sears in sales and sold these plans to my customers, because I believed in them and what we could offer them as peace of mind and hassle-free maintenance. I am sorry if I sold anyone one of these plans and they ran into the same situation as me. I guess I will just have to go back to the throwaway world for my TVs and get them from Amazon or Walmart.
