Erik is a fantastic barber. He took his time making sure to get every hair. Was thoroughly impressed with his work. Hes also easy going, talks to you to pass the time. Great guy.

Great place to get a nice haircut! The Owner Mr Knox also owns and runs a Barber school within the Barber shop. You can receive a free haircut by a student but I suggest that you give them a tip out of courtesy. Mr Knox is always available just in case the students need a hand. He jokes with his students and they have a good time which I think is great. You can always expect to get a great quality haircut from Mr Knox or his regular Barber staff. They are able to provide haircut services to people with all types of hair textures for thick and thin hair. If youre in the West Valley and need a cut then stop by and give them a chance.

This was my third stop in trying to get a good cut and shave. Had driven by it several times and always wanted to try it out. They have a barbershop and a school. I used the barbershop. Met up with Vinny. Awesome barber. He was very meticulous and thorough. He took his time and took care of every detail. He has outgoing and talkative. Very impressed with his skills and his demeanor. Will be going back again. If you need a good cut and a shave definantly come here, and ask for Vinny, he will take great care of you.

Its the best barber shop around in Avondale the atmosphere is great if youre choosing for professionals or the Barber College I would give it a five-star

One of the best barber shops Ive experienced in Goodyear. We didnt wait long, maybe like a couple of minutes. My son just need a touch up, and the barber did an amazing job at and didnt rush. Definitely coming back in another week or so. A+ work.

SO I came to this spot as a recommendation from my Mother and my boys needed their heads done desperately!!! While they got some hooked up cuts, I did not care for the shop atmosphere. It was a true to life Barber Shop movie scene!!!! 🤣😂🤦🏾‍♀️Call me bougie (I just did it for you😉), but Im more into the professional atmosphere (especially because I have small boys and I dont need them exposed to all that adult language, behavior, and music). If this does not bother you for your children (or you grown and could care less) then I definitely recommend this place for you. 🤗

Owner was busy teaching a barber class but he let me know that he could squeeze me in asap. Once he finish teaching his class, Marshal Knox, the owner, greeted and was able to give me a very refreshing haircut. Went over & beyond to meet my expectations especially because of how picky I am with my cut. Extremely recommend checking out this shop.

My fiance got his cut done here for the first time and let me tell you they fukd his cut up!!! Not only did they not do a line up right, the barber cut him all up along his forehead and the back of his head. He couldnt do a fade right . Glad he didnt take our son with him I could imagine what a horrible job they would of done on our son too!GO TO A-TOWN BARBER SHOP! You wont regret it 😉

These guys are the best barbers in the west valley. The owner is definitely a stand-up guy, and I love how he has a Barber School in the back of his shop for young up-and-coming stylists. I would say that this ship is a staple in Avondale/Goodyear.

This is the worse barber Ive ever been to. I took my 2 boys for hair cuts and the guy was so rude, he was listening to inappropriate music. And i can see lice crawling on one of their chairs. I was there a year ago and havent been back since then. I wouldnt recommend this place to no one.

My uncle waited an hour and 20 minutes and left bleeding all around his beard and sideburns. Who talks on the phone while using a straight razor on someones face??? WOW!Dont sit in the last chair with the guy with the west indies accent. (We didnt get his name because he was too busy on the phone) Very disappointing.

The owner or the teacher of the barber school didnt even check to see if the cut was good, I had to go to another Barber Shop to get my cut looking fresh student did his job, but the so called instructor/teacher didnt seem to care about the cut.
