You could find better apartments for less. The people in the office don’t care about the people living there and don’t fix things when they need to be fixed. The people that work in the office are rude and they only care about themselves rather than the well-being of the people that live at their apartments.

I was not asked to write this review. Only looked up the office hours so I could pick up a package today. Got inspired. Here goes:1 - Great staff (never a communication problem, takes care of everything promptly, responds, promotes their people from within, everyone is excellent);2 - Gated community (safe, secure, no riff-raff, everyone wants to be there)3 - Beautiful and comfortable space (I opted for the lower level apartment with bonus sun room. That means I have a very modern, open concept place, tall ceilings, nice fixtures, all hard flooring, spacious bathrooms and closets)4 - moved from a nice home in East Nashville to an apartment (wasnt looking forward to it). I dont regret it. My place is decorated beautifully (all modern furniture) and looks just as nice as my home. Added accent colors to some walls, placed furniture in the right place. My daughter and I are in love.5 - neighbors are pleasant6 - I grill out on propane grills by the pool year-end. Cant wait to swim this summer. Awesome campus with nice facilities. They always have landscapers picking up debris and manicuring the place.7 - My rent isnt cheap. But if youre looking for low prices, go get an apartment with less amenities. If you need an apartment but dont want to compromise on security, friendliness or modern features like an open concept come here. Its laid out more like a downtown loft apartment Ive been to downtown loft apartments. They cost twice as much. And, arent near as big. Mine is huge.8 - Goodlettsville is known for being a small community. You live here. Dont typically work here. You commute downtown or the like. Its right off the parkway. 15-18 minutes from downtown with no traffic. Right next to an updated large Kroger with Starbux. Publix right down the road. Very close to Rivergate (3 minutes) to get food or visit the local mall. Target is 2 minutes away. Hendersonville is 5 minutes further up the parkway. Hendersonville has everything you need, and some. I work downtown and my commute is 30 minutes in, 30-40 minutes back everyday.Bottom line, love my experience. I pay my rent on time. I dont cause trouble. I take care of my place and it takes care of me. I feel like I live in a condo or townhouse.

This is an absolutely amazing place to live. Not just because of the beautiful apartments or the awesome amenities, but also because of the great people that live and work here. When we first signed our lease, it was mostly because of Wil and how awesome he was throughout the entire process!10/10 would recommend.

Awesome community, very high quality especially compared to the surrounding options. Maintenance team is also very friendly and extremely helpful. I had my AC go out at 11 pm on a Sunday and a maintenance man was there in an hour with a portable unit, then came the next day to fix the main one!

Great place to live. My wife and I just resigned our lease here for another 15 months. Wil and Danya have been fantastic to work with. This is definitely where we’ll be staying until we buy a house.

The amenities at this complex are unbelievable. The staff is very kind and courteous. They are very quick to handle any problems that arise and maintenance is very prompt in handling any issues, repairs and/or checkups. During our time here, we have had very little issues, hardly any noises and very pleasant experiences with the staff and community. Their exercise center has a lot of different equipment, their pool is huge and the cabana is a very nice added touch. They have a propane grill located near the cabana which is very convenient when you want to grill out and/or swim on a nice summer day. They also have charcoal grills located throughout the community for residents to use. Their apartments are beautiful, with very high ceilings and a lot of open space. This complex feels safe, secure and well-maintained.

We have been a resident at Preston Run since August 2019. I must say, the staff is amazing, and we love the beautiful grounds and amenities. Our apartment is perfection! The property is quiet and provides a great atmosphere and is very clean and well maintained. Everyone living and working here is very friendly.Will at the office always makes it an absolute pleasure to go in for any reason. His professional happy attitude is contagious and leaves everyone with a smile.If there are any issues, they are very fast to get them resolved. The staff goes above and beyond. I had a few small maintenance requests and they were completed the following day when I arrived home from work. The staff and maintenance crew are very friendly and very professional.On a comparison to other places we have lived, Preston Run has been the best overall. Living here has truly been a pleasure. We highly recommended Preston Run and if we decide to continue our stay in the area, we will definitely be extending our lease. After all, there’s no place like home. 

We love our home here at Preston Run. Wil and the rest of the staff are friendly, we enjoy the amenities, and we love the layout of our apartment! The open floor plan and high ceilings make it seem very spacious. It is very modern and conveniently located near many stores, restaurants, and the interstate.

We love the Preston Run community. Wil and Dayna in the office are fabulous. They are always going the extra mile to accommodate your needs. The landscaping is beautiful and the grounds are always well taken care of. The maintenance team is great too. Anytime I put in a request it is taken care of within a day or two. It really is a great place to live.

Absolutely the best community Ive lived at by far and the apartments are very nice! Recently moved here from Bellevue back in Dec 2019. Weve only had maybe 2 maintenance request for minor issues since moving in, the management and maintenance team were amazing in making sure the request were complete in a timely manner! Everyone has been so welcoming and accommodating! I have no regrets on signing a long lease with them as it has been an amazing experience.

I’ve been here for two and a half years now and I’m typically one of those people who move soon as my lease is up but I just love it! All the events we have, down to the sweet birthday card! By far the best apartments I’ve ever lived in!

We moved here in February from Florida...and absolutely love this property and the staff!! They are the greatest group of people you will ever meet!! And the property is beautiful and feels so much like home and welcoming, very safe and secure. Great location!!

We have lived here for the past two years and just renewed for a third! Quiet community, nice amenities, and helpful staff. Every time we’ve needed repairs on something, they are super quick to send someone out and prompt to fix! That alone is incredibly valuable to me.

These apartments are really nice, and they are convenient to 386 and I-65. There have been many maintenance issues since we have moved in, but Wil in the front office has been so great at helping us get these fixed. He made the whole move in process really easy. I would definitely recommend these apartments to people.

I have lived here for almost five months and I love it here. Staff is absolutely amazing. Maintenance is the quickest I have ever seen anywhere. My apartment is gorgeous and very well maintained. Love the pool volleyball court dog run and the work out room. The amenities are such a great plus! Dog friendly and people friendly!!

This is by far our favorite place that we have ever lived. The staff is not only incredibly friendly, but they are efficient and reliable. Our apartment is beautiful, trendy and well maintained by Preston Run. We get to enjoy privacy and quiet while still being a part of a very cool community. I highly recommend this gem if you are wanting to live in Greater Nashville. Also... if you are a commuter, you are right by access to 65 and Vietnam Vets, and that makes navigating Nashville traffic very manageable.

We moved in back in Dec of 2019. We have spent the entire quarantine in the apartment we are renting and it has been great. The staff and apartments are great, no complaints. Each issue weve raised has always been handled in adequate time.

My husband and I moved in about 5 months ago and it has been amazing! We love the pool, volleyball court, and the 24 hour access gym. Its in the perfect location, shopping and main restaurants are just minutes away, with Downtown Nashville about 10-15 minutes away. The staff is very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. The upkeep of the apartments are very nice, it is also pet friendly with a dog park. Overall, its a great, clean, and safe place to be.

Renee was very helpful during the move in process and she helped us move in a timely manner since we were relocating and starting new jobs!

I am so glad I chose Preston Run to call home. It’s not your typical apartment complex....I truly feel that we have a neighborhood community feel. The apartments themselves are a great value for as spacious as they are and the grounds are well kept. But one of my favorite traits about living here are the people. The office staff truly cares about each resident and knows them by name. (Wil can’t help but make you laugh. Sylvie is so sweet you just want to hug her. And Dayna is always willing to lend an ear and let you vent!). I’ve lived in a number of complexes, but in terms of management - none of them come even close to hitting the mark as they do here.There were three reasons I renewed my lease:1. My unit is great - I love the layout and everything runs well.2. My dog loves it. This is a very dog friendly complex - and all the residents are happy to “talk dog” when you see them.3. My neighbors are great. Awesome, friendly people who are always willing a hand, look out for one another, and grab a drink/dinner with. You can’t put a price on that - and it’s super hard to get that feeling living in an apartment.Thank you, Preston Run, for making this an awesome place to live!

Without a doubt the best apartment complex in this area!! The managers are amazing Wil and Sylvia care about the residents and will do whatever it takes to make sure you and your family are happy! The moment me and my wife walked into the front office we knew that this was the place to be. I would highly recommend Preston Run to anyone who is interested in an apartment. The commute to Nashville is easy and is very well located. I highly recommend!

I absolutely love my apartment! I’ve only lived here about 6 months and I can’t say enough nice things about it. It’s modern, super spacious with tall ceilings and crown molding. Anytime I have guests over, they always go on and on at what a nice place I have. The office staff and maintenance are super awesome! One of the first days I needed to turn my air conditioner on, I noticed it wasn’t as cool as I thought it should be.. maintenance was here 15 minutes after I called the office. The complex is really nice and kept up, and the location is super convenient. It takes me 15 min to get downtown Nashville, and if I lived in Nashville proper, I would be paying a few $100 more a month. So happy I found this place!

I just want to say I have had the best experiences with the property management in finding the best home to suit my needs. The apartments are so nice and clean and the property is kept immaculately clean. I always see improvements being done in the landscaping. I searched for many apartments but when I found Preston Run apartments I knew this was the place for me. I had a warm welcoming and ever since the exceptional service has not stopped

I am so excited to be a resident at Preston. It is so quiet and an amazing community. The staff and residents are so friendly. Close to everything. The community is kept up so well. Definitely a 5 star apartment home community. I could not have chosen a more perfect place to live.

My husband and I have lived here for almost 4 years and we LOVE IT! We call it home and will continue to for many more years to come. I have no complaints. The office staff is great and so nice! When we need anything they do not hesitate to help. Same with the maintenance. Anytime we call with issues which is very seldom they are there very quickly. Our apartment is located right by the office, pool, gas grill, and workout facility. It doesn’t get much better:) We love Preston Run!

Excellent location. Superb staff and maintenance personnel. Grounds are well maintained. Apartment layouts and design are well thought out. If you are downsizing, like we were, you owe it to yourself to check these apartments out.

My husband and I love living here!! I’ve lived in several apartments for well over a decade, and Preston Run is by far the best one. It is a beautiful community, but what really makes this place special is the staff. Wil, Dana, and Sylvie are so kind, and they really care about the residents. The maintenance guys are always so pleasant and helpful. Any time we have ever needed help with something, whether that be a maintenance issue or something with the office, it feels like our happiness and satisfaction is their number one priority. The apartments themselves are really gorgeous and huge. Crown molding at the top with a nice neutral wall color. They just redecorated the pool area, and have awesome parties with fancy giveaways. The grounds are always nicely manicured, and the gate works very well, unlike other places. If you’re on the fence because of the price, I think it’s very much worth it to live in a place you absolutely love and feel safe!

The moment I walked in, I knew this was the place for me. The staff was so welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. It immediately felt like family! It is clear the staff cares for their residents here. I love my new apartment and feel completely safe. It is a gated community which actually utilizes their gates. If you are looking for an apartment, I would definitely put Preston Run at the top of your list and stop your search. These apartments are so nice!

Poor customer service, old apartments in need of constant repair need new appliances, new countertops and my 2 bedroom 2 bath has mold problem and completely filthy tubs I did not notice until I moved in because they had old carpet in tubs where the just redid the floors prior to my move in... actually left black stain in both tubs and they had the nerve to charge me additional charges for their mess upon moveout which I paid because they threatened to turn it over to collections ... all of this after I showed Dayna the manager several emails since move in requesting tub repair only to be told they needed to be replaced! Also for gated community did not feel safe ... and management you are aware of why! Do yourself a favor and seek apartment elsewhere I stayed for a year and even though it was costly to move during pandemic especially with the additional unjust charges they charged my bank account it was worth it to get out !

Hello!My name is Adam and I am a current resident here at Preston Run. If youre looking for a safe area in a good location this is the place to be. Youre right off the interstate, a Kroger and gas station within 100 yards from you and of course a variety of restaurants in the area. This complex offers all of the amenities you could ask for with quality to go with it. The staff/service here has always been above average. They never make you feel like an inconvenience and know you by name. Come check them out!

This is by far the best apartment complex I have lived in to date. The management staff is first rate. There isnt enough time or room to describe how good the maintenance staff is or how fast, thorough and professional they are at their job. This property is gated and regularly patrolled by the Goodlettsville Police department. I can also say I actually know all my neighbors, and Ive only lived here since August of 2018. Its a great place to live!

Overall this apartment complex has been fantastic! I rely heavily on reviews when looking for apartments and I can tell you I was not disappointed when signing a lease here. The staff have been wonderful and attentive. All service requests have been handled promptly. The apartments are newly renovated, very spacious, and quite nice. While the price may be a bit on the higher side, you get your moneys worth with peace of mind!

My experience while living at Preston Run was great. However, when I moved out they charged me $550, claimed they notified me by mail (no phone call or email), although I never received anything at my forwarding address, and they turned the bill over to collections after 10 days. Ten days, in the midst of a move. Its been a year and a half and it still irritates me. It became a derogatory mark on my credit report and will be there for 7-10 years, for a balance I wasnt aware of and would have gladly paid. I have not received a detailed invoice explaining what the charge was for, despite several requests - calls, emails and in person - they simply referred me to the collections agency, who doesnt have any details.

I have lived here going on three years. The apartments are nice. Its gated...and yes the gate stays working. I love it. The staff Is nice and very helpful.

We moved in to Preston Run back in March and have had a good experience so far. Our garbage disposal went out and was fixed the next day after we submitted a request.

The office and maintenance staff are friendly and tentative to my needs. They are efficient and professional in answering my questions and in scheduling my maintenance needs. Preston Run Apartments is more than a complex; it’s a community, and I’m so happy to be a part of such a wonderful and fun team!

I have lived here for almost a year now and love living here! The one time I had a noise complaint (it sounded like an upstairs neighbor was dropping weights on the floor), I mentioned it to the office & they took care of it right away. Any issue I had, such as burned out lightbulbs, was taken care of right away.Great service and staff!

I am a new resident of Preston Run, and I am so happy I chose to move to this community! Ive lived in apartment communities my entire adult life, and this one - by far - exceeds all of my expectations. All of the units have an open and spacious floor plan. The courtyard is beautiful. Its a very active community and its nice to see so many people taking advantage of both the pool and volleyball areas. A lot of residents have pets and The pet policy is fantastic....in fact, if you bring your dog to the office, theyll give you a treat :-)So far, Ive only worked with the team in the leasing office...Kevin, Adam, and Rebecca are awesome. You get the feeling youve known them forever. I ask a lot of questions - and they are so willing to help and go the extra mile.The community itself is in high demand...and if you visit, youll see why. The grounds are immaculate. The buildings are well maintained. The rent may be a little steeper than I would like, but trust me when I say that this community is worth every penny! If youre looking to live in a high class apartment - look no further, because this is it! Im looking forward to many years as a resident of Preston Run!

We used to live here, they change management like everyday!! Not friendly people there gate almost never works. we moved out on april and we haven received our deposit, every time we called they said they were going to look for the check but we haven’t gotten it. Think twice before you move in with these people they will still your Deposit...

Applied for an apartment on Friday May 18, 2018. Paid the $50 application fee and the $300 required to lease an apartment. I was not told by Sylvie that my monthly income had to be 3 times the monthly rent. I was not approved. I will not get back the $50, even though I asked for it. My $300 has to be sent to home office and processed and they’ll send me check. It’s very simple math to figure 3 times income. I should have been told before applying. Plus I have to wait on the 300 before finding another place. Very very unhappy with the way this was handled.

I recently moved from Preston Run. I relocated with my job about a year ago. I only left because I was relocated once more. The year I spent at Preston Run was more than I could have asked for. I was alone in a state where I knew no one. This provided a comfort for me and my now 15 year old dachshund, Woodrow. My experience in Nashville wasnt the best, so having an enjoyable place to call home was priceless. If I could pick up this apartment complex and move it to KY, where I am now, I would. Kevin, Rebecca and Adam are just so welcoming. They have never failed to help me out anytime I needed it. I had a 2 bedroom with a sun room. The layout was great, friendly neighbors and little noise. The grounds are beautiful and are always kept well. Woodrow and I loved walking around the neighborhood. The pool and cabana are awesome! I cannot say enough. If you are looking to rent in this area, Preston Run is a great choice. Its one that I am so glad that I made.

The rent is not the cheapest around, but very well worth the extra money. Its also very convenient to the interstate and shopping.

Theres no place like home...in Preston Run Apartments! The office and maintenance staff are always attentive and friendly. Property is well maintained and welcoming.

As I mentioned in previous post - I faced issue with some charges made on my account, but still management responded and waived off the fines. I would have given 5-star rating for this Apartment Community as this is really a nice and clean community than any other in that area.

Sylvia is rude and does not help at all. Whenever you need assistance or ask a question, she acts as if you are bothersome. Even if she is not doing anything. Would be a nice place but Sylvia ruins the whole mood. Terrible customer service.

The apartment is beautiful! I finally have a living room big enough to have people over. It has an open floorplan, so entertaining isnt a problem. I have the 1br, 1.5 ba model with the deck. I also have an office that is very useful. Safe neighborhood and awesome staff!

Sylvia is not helpful nor is she good at her job. She gives attitude and does not properly assist when there is an issue.

Preston Run Apartments are definitely the nicest apartments in the Goodlettsville area. The buildings and grounds are beautifully maintained, the office and maintenance staff are responsive, friendly and timely and their amenities really shine.Preston Run offers a resort style swimming pool, car wash area, fully equipped gym, a dog park and volleyball.Theres always room for improvement and Preston Run is no exception. Although its a great place to live, there are a few draw backs. Nothing too major but worth mentioning:If you hope to go swimming in the evening during the warmer months, youll have to do it somewhere else. The pool closes at sunset which is disappointing. Also, they claim to have a movie theater and clubhouse, which they do but its just for show. They dont allow residents to use it unless its in the middle of the day.

My wife and I moved into these apartments about a little over a month ago. We have loved every minute at Preston Run. The apartments themselves are spacious and luxurious. Just look at the pictures they provide! No special lighting or trick angles like some complexes use, which is what we thought at first. Once we took a tour, we were convinced that these apartments were the right ones for us. Wil did an excellent job giving the tour. The property grounds are regularly maintained and a beautiful. Parking has never been an issue, which is rare in most apartments. Even with hundreds of people living within the gated property, there are always spots open no matter what time of day. It’s nice to come home and be able to park right outside your apartment. The onsite gym has most anything you could need to get a complete, heavy workout. The fenced dog park has so much space for our dogs to run around; they certainly don’t have any complaints. These are all things you can see in a tour.The thing that stands out to me the most is just how great the staff treats people. Once you live here, you’ll see it every day. Wil has been nothing but genuinely friendly and professional. We are always greeted with a smile by them whether we’re in the club house office or out walking our dogs. They have treated us kindly from the first tour and continue to do so to this day. The response time and turnaround to repair any issue is normally quick. It’s great to know that good help is just a call or email away. We especially like the fact that Wil lives at Preston Run. That says something about how special this place is. It also shows how and why he is so passionate about keeping the place running smoothly, because this in his home, too.I can’t say enough good things about this place. I hope this review offers a glimpse of what we get to experience every day at our amazing new place. We love it here!

As a resident for the last year and a half, I have to really brag on this apartment complex and it’s staff members! Dayna, Sylvie, Wil, Phil, and Chad have all been a blessing to our family! I’ve asked many favors and never once heard excuses. Wil has even carried my infant into my apartment while my arms were full of groceries. Wil, Chad and Phil have fulfilled maintenance requests within minutes of me asking. Dayna and Silvie are always so pleasant and helpful in the office. I can text Wil anytime of the day and he is always eager to help with any situation I have. They are all very down to earth people and easy to get along with. Not to mention, the beautiful groundskeeping, friendly neighbors, and up to date apartments here (I’ve been in two different units and both are amazing!). Although rent is a hair more expensive, you get what you pay for in my book. Also, it keeps the crime and bad neighbors away. Very pleased to say this has been our home, and a very good one to raise our son since birth in. ❤️

I would only recommend living here if you enjoy overpaying for amenities that don’t exist or are constantly broken and neglected. Oh, you might also like it here if you enjoy walking to the commons area and being hit in the face with the strong odor from cat pee and poop since they just let dozens of strays run around and use the volleyball court as their litter box. Do you like paying for pest control and walking into a giant spider the size of your eyeball on a daily basis? Or trying to put in a maintenance request for something unsafe and never being able to get anyone in the office to answer the phone? And getting charged more than the apartment is worth in “excessive cleaning fees” that they have no proof of? Then this is the place for you!It’s also a big plus that the office staff are the RUDEST humans I have ever come across. Maintenance staff is great though. I feel bad they have to work in such a terrible place with frauds.

The neighborhood of Madison and Goodlettsville is the worst part. Service and products and jobs in the area are awful.

Save your money and go somewhere cheaper .Not worth the money .moving as soon as my lease is up
