Walked in to a blonde older lady and man without masks on & he was drinking a soda or something. She put on a mask from a drawer while checking me in & one of them commented on hating having to wear a mask. I told her I didn’t want my hair short because I’ve had bad experiences and I go with my usual to avoid any disasters and she just said okay but I knew she didn’t even listen to what I said. I’ve been going to Supercuts for 8 years & never had an issue until today. This was my first time at this location, i usually go to the one on state street. She didn’t ensure my head was aligned or anything. When she would go to brush my hair to cut, she would pull my hair to where my head would move & she never apologized or made sure I was okay. She was done in about 6 minutes. She didn’t make any conversation and was bothered when I asked if I could get it done in a V like I originally asked when she tried to show me my end result. This confirmed she had not listened to me. It was super choppy. When she showed me my result I was in shock at how terrible and careless she was. She didn’t give me anything I asked for & gave me everything I was afraid of happening. I’ve read through these posts and it seems like many have complained about her. Her license experience on 8/31 & today is 9/1. She should be let go because the place is beautiful but it won’t last there if she continues to drive customers away. If I could give a zero star, I would.

I have had positive experiences getting inexpensive haircuts here in the past. However there is a new stylist that should be avoided. I dont know her name but she told me she was from Cambodia. She cut my hair like someone doing a bowl cut, just snipping around the bottom like Ive never seen a stylist do before. She was done in 1 minute! One side was way longer than the other. I pointed that out to her and also reminded her that she didnt freshen up my layers like I had requested. By now she was surly to me and I was a nervous wreck. Ill have to have someone try to fix it.

I got a pretty average haircut from this place. I had a picture as reference for the lady, and a few misunderstandings led to the front being a bit too short, but that was tolerable. Itll grow back out. Three stars from that point-of-view alone.But minus one for the belittling comments about looking like a girl and having cute girly hair and cute girly stuff when I am in fact... not a girl.Not going back to this place, ever. But if you want an average haircut overall besides that... I recommend it, I suppose? You get what ya pay for. Just didnt expect the belittlement.

Not recommended - I part my hair on one side and asked for a cut that was not too short, but the stylist cut it way too short on top and kept pushing it forward and trying to mat it down and form a point at the end of my head - it looks terrible and my family keeps making fun of me - if you go here, avoid the heavy-set stylist with the long, curly blond hair - seemed like a novice

About 2 years ago I moved to Goleta from Seattle. In Seattle, I would only go to Supercuts if there were no other options.In 2019, we had just moved here, and i needed a last minute haircut before I started a new job the next day. I reluctantly went to this Supercuts as my only option on a Sunday. I was surprised with how good the haircut was, and how friendly the hair stylist was.Fast forward 2 years I have now visited this Supercuts about 5-7 times and every time I am surprised with how good of a haircut I get, and the level of professionalism, and personal attention I receive.I highly recommend them, will keep coming back.

Waste of time and money. I used to love going here but the last time I went the person who cut my hair ruined my experience. Did not take the time or the energy to do it right.

Update: I emailed. No reply. Called the owner twice after leaving a comment under my review. Left a voicemail. And no, she didn’t contact me in any way to rectify anything. But don’t bother.The worst haircut I’ve ever received from Supercuts.

OMG! My daughter wanted a haircut/style and we were able to make a same day appointment. Im accustomed to higher priced salons so I had my doubts going in. The stylist was very friendly and talented. (Wish I could remember his name)My daughter received a beautiful haircut and it was only $20! I was so shocked that I tipped the stylist very handsomely.Convenient and clean location and parking.

Absolutely horrible. The lady had no idea what she was doing. $27 down the drain. Two missed spots around my ears and even one bald spot on my back. R u kidding me? Avoid this place!

Worst haircut of my life. They completely ignored the way I asked them to cut my hair and just shaved off half of my hair. They faced me away from the mirror the whole time aswell.

The girl who did my hair didn’t listen at all to what I asked for. I even went as far to SHOW her a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like (keep the sides a length of 3) and she decided to do what SHE wanted and cut hair to the length of 1. I am EXTREMELY unhappy with my haircut and will no longer trust this place. She didn’t listen to her customer and she ruined my hair. She has red hair and worked at the supercuts in Hollister Village. Thanks SuperCuts! 😊👍🏼

I was nervous to try someplace new but they just opened closer to my house than where I was going so I gave them a try. Shanti cut my hair. People that I have known most of my life have told me it looks better and healthier than ever. I dont know what magic she worked but she really did a great job. I will definitely be using her on a regular basis.

Itzel at Supercuts gave me an amazing haircut today! I was only in town for the day and it was extremely convenient. Great service and a nice cut! I would definitely go back. They got me in very quick and went above and beyond.

Have been a customer of Supercuts for several years now. This location offers the same quality and service that I got when I frequented their Parlin location when I lived in NJ. Only difference is this location is a more modern one from being opened relatively recently. The fact that you can get a great haircut without having to spend an arm and a leg is why I continue to go to Supercuts. I know sometimes you may have to wait if you didnt call ahead or even if you did but they do a pretty good job of keeping up with appointments so that customers can get in and out.

I do not recommend this place to men with short hair. Go to a barbershop and they will do a better job. My stylist did a rushed job using only two clipper lengths, which I often do myself at home in the mirror. When I got home I had to clean up around the ears and even out my bangs.

The workers here are very friendly, and did a good job cutting my hair. Their prices are affordable, and they listened to what I was looking for. I have been here a few times, and will definitely continue to come back.

I used to get very nice haircuts here from a very nice staff, I just got my worst haircut in my life from a skinny female person with glasses I don’t know her name, she was very rude and she didn’t wanna work feels like they forced her to work!! Very bad experience and waste of time and money!

Staff here is not friendly, some staff members appear to be rude, specially when you walk in without an appointment. There is tall white guy who was rude to me last time when i walked in without an appointment. I did receive good hair cut couple of times but overall i dont feel very good, sort of not welcomed whenever i visit here. I am shocked to see all these good reviews here, it may be for a different super cuts location.I dont recommend this place.

I have had a good and a bad experience here. I have been twice and the first time my hair was cut by a very friendly member of their staff. The second time a different staff member cut my hair and seemed unhappy or upset. Maybe they were just having a bad day, I plan to continue coming here.

This is one of the bad haircut experience to date. I strongly believe, the person on job does not have experience at all for haircut. 1. No proper trimming of hair, 2. Burning sensation in skull, possibly because, of inexperienced operation of scissor. 3. No proper shaping of hair, it looks like, job just half done!

Refused to look up my previous haircuts on their system. Was too aggressive with the clipper. Clearly rushed the haircut. Missed areas.It felt that, because I was a walk in and did not make an appointment ahead of time, my haircut was rushed and there was no need to do a good job.

Had my hair cut, washed, and dyed. They did a great job with cutting and dying but afterwards I was asked if I wanted it dried and I said yes. I was not told through that it cost an extra $20 just to dry my hair.

Great service but I dont understand why none of the hair salons dont have the sinks to wash your hair. Coming from Las Vegas this is a standard.
