Worked with them for a 2019 Ford Ranger. Salesman (Korey) did an excellent job working with me to fix the tiny issues with the used truck. Not a high pressure guy, just works with ya to get something you are happy with.Also made getting an after market spray in bed liner very easy through their partner company. I seriously freaking love this truck and am very happy I went local to get it!I did but finance with them but the finance department was seamless and I ran into zero issues.
I recently bought the new Bronco Sport and just wanted to give a shout out to Korey for being an amazing sales person with great follow up, empathy and integrity. Best Maintenance Service Experience Ever!Wow, I am still in shock that I found the best Ford service department on the planet....seriously. Fast, efficient, on-time, theyre customer lounge is acceptable, and their service staff is super professional and polite.They had four tires in stock and scheduled that service at the same time as the maintenance, but the kickers are these:1) the mechanic does a short video of your vehicle and the service areas they addressed, showing you the health of your vehicle (how comforting is that to have the expert tell you directly about your vehicle health!); and2) I mean gosh, sorry other Ford dealerships but Glenwood Springs has fresh alpine air and the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains....theres no comparison on location (plus if you go near halloween time, theres a Spirit Superstore for entertainment right in the shopping center next door, and a hardware store).
A fantastic experience from another state. Stay tuned for a LONG post.I am in Illinois. I was at a dealership in Crest Hill, IL looking at a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.9 w/ 122k miles. It was a disappointing experience (rusted out rockers, bad a/c, bad stereo, bad cooling sensor) & they would not budge from $4,700 & its been for sale on their lot for 95 days. Apparently, because it is a rare Jeep... they wont budge.So I went to Cargurus.com & tried finding another 5.9 for sale. One happened to pop up (from Glenbrook Springs Ford). I called & they had just uploaded the listing during the previous 30 minutes. Serendipity.The price online was unlisted (it was a mechanic special due to an apparent replaced instrument cluster & the odometer possibly not being true miles). So, they said $1,500. After I got my jaw off the floor, I asked what was wrong with it (surely, it was a basket case). The salesman (Luis) took it on a test drive up to 20 mph (which he then described to me). He then had the Used Car manager (Alan) take it on a test drive the following morning (and Luis promised they would not sell the Jeep from underneath me). I looked up their google rating, & it appeared that they were an honest dealership. So decided to take a chance & trust them. Luis then sent me pics of the Jeep cleaned up (including engine bay & under carriage),I received a call immediately the following day & Alan described the condition & how it ran (an issue with the door, the moonroof wouldnt open & the rear shocks were soft). I was also told a mechanic was interested in it, but that I had first dibs on it since I was 1st in line. I told them, consider it sold (& I gave them my credit card to pay for it). They were honorable despite one of their own mechanics being interested in it & sold it to me since was the 1st one interested in it.. So, I made flight arrangements into Grand Junction, CO the following day... and they sent a shuttle to get me from the airport hotel the following day (an hour drive). And they did this gratis. So far, this is unheard of - a classy dealership who gives a damn about their customer.When I arrived, the vehicle was parked next to a new Bronco. They let me take it for a test drive. I took it thru a car wash to test for leaks, & then took it on the highway (to the legal speed limit). And it drove like any Jeep with solid axles (no issues except for a slight grind in the front bearing... & 1/32 tires all around - which was tolerable for the trip back to Illinois). We then did the paperwork & there were no crazy document or other fees that dealerships normally throw in. The title work was sent to the Illinois DMV & I left with a 60 day temp registration (Ill need to register it in IL & pay IL sales tax). I also gave the finance guy money to pay for a pizza lunch for the dealership staff (who had treated me like gold).So, Luis & Alan then took a pic in front of the dealership & sent me on my way. On the way back to IL, I stopped to see youtubes The Car Wizard in his shop in Kansas - so he could assess the Jeep for me (he thought it was in pretty good condition - & really needed tires). There wasnt time for him & his staff to make a Car Wizard video unfortunately, but he took me on tour of his shop... treated me like a human being... and took some pics with me (despite how many requests he gets, he took the time on a late Friday afternoon). And we discussed his shop possibly doing a EFI upgrade to my 1972 Cougar XR7 convertible in the future. And if I am lucky, his shop will also work on my (new to me) 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.9 (which are getting harder to find).I am SO glad I called Glenbrook Springs Ford from the Rides Unlimited parking lot. Luis & Alan treated me like Gold, You can be sure, that if I was to ever buy a new ford (Mustang-E anyone???), I would make the trip to Glenwood Springs Ford.GREAT Dealership. :-)
Brought my car in for service about 4 months ago with a rattle in the sunroof. Problem was identified, but the part took nearly two months to get here. I was also informed that the work needed to be contracted out due to it requiring body work (how can a car company not be able to work on their own cars?!), and had me setup a time with their partnered body shop for the fix.A week later, and several miscommunications between the dealer and the body shop about the actual work being performed (I had to call each place several times to get them to talk to each other), the body shop determined that the part was was broken on arrival. The body shop told me this and I had to call the Ford service to get the details. At this point, the service department promised when the round 2 replacement part came in, they would take my car and deal with the body shop directly (and specifically promised a rental when this happened).Another month, another part shipped over, and was informed from the body shop (not the Ford Service Dept) that the new part arrived. I just called the service department to have them handle the car handoff. I received audible silence on the phone when I asked when I could drop the car off and grab the rental. I was informed there are no rentals and there wont be in the future since my problem is not engine problems, and that I needed to call the body shop directly to schedule the service and drop the car off. Best part was I dealt with the same service rep both times who apparently lied to me when making all these promises a month ago.I realize some of these problems are out of their hands (part delays are common these days), but its a bit insulting that I was lied to and then followed up with zero help. Its too bad this is the only Ford Service in the Valley, since I am still under warranty (its a 2020 Ford Escape) and will have to deal with them for future problems too. I should also point out that during this entire process, I have never ONCE received a callback. I always had to call them to get updates or dealt with the bodyshop delivering news first. Way to drop the ball, Ford.

We were traveling and towing a camper. Our truck started having problems and it needed immediate service. We limped into the dealership just before closing and met with Sammy. He let us park our camper in their back lot and got our truck in first thing the next morning. GS Ford diagnosed the problems and had everything fixed that afternoon. My wife and I were on our way to a family reunion on the western slope when my F150 broke down in Vail. My warranty company had it towed to a shop in Avon who, unfortunately, could not fix it due to programming codes Ford will not give them. They suggested having it towed to the nearest Ford dealer, which was Glenwood Springs. We rented a car at $100 per day and proceeded with our weekend. The truck was towed to Glenwood Springs where I spoke with Brystal about the problems with the truck and that we were renting a car until it was fixed. She told me since we were travelers, she would get to it ASAP. The truck arrived at their facility on a Monday morning at 10:30am. It was finally done 8 days later. Every time i called or texted asking about progress, I was told they hadnt gotten to it yet. They finally looked at it when I said I would have it towed back to the Denver metro area. 8 days to do 3 hours of work. Then, when I was presented with the bill, it was $2,600! I said that my warranty should have paid for most of that. Brystal then said oh, I forgot to put that in. At no time did I feel reassured about the work getting done and I certainly didnt feel valued as a customer. I emailed the general manager to make him aware of the issues I encountered and have yet to get a response. The worst vehicle service experience I have ever had. Go elsewhere!
The car broke down outside of Glenwood Springs. Got it to dealership to have repaired. Had Brystal as the advisor. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER. She was rude when we called about the car. We were stuck in Glenwood Springs had to rent a vehicle to get back home, and let her know that would like to be able have car done when I had to return rental. Called the day before rental had to be returned, she said she would find out about car.No call, when my husband called she RUDELY told him that she told him that she would call back.She was rude when we picked up the car and when I wanted my name corrected on the service invoice. I would give ZERO stars.
Great dealership to work with. Jesus and Alan were very helpful at getting the deal done. I didnt realize the windshield was cracked in the truck I bought until I was leaving the lot, I called them right away and they lined it up to be taken care of at a local auto glass dealer. I would recommend them 100%. I will shop their dealership first next time Im in need of another vehicle.

Took my F150 in for a misfire in cylinder 1. They had my truck for a day and replaced spark plugs and boots for $500. The next day my trucks check engine light came on for a misfire in cylinder 1. Called the manger and he said he would stand behind the dealers work. When I opened the hood they installed a broken part. When I asked for a refund they said they could do anything for me because they would have to take my truck for the full day to replace a part that would take 5 mins to complete.If you buy parts from them make sure to call Rifle Ford dealer, Glenwood Springs parts department will charge you significantly more for the same part.
It may sound kind of strange but it was like our Glenwood Springs Ford experience was meant to be... we had been trying to find a larger truck and were having difficulty because the one we wanted is not common. We were on vacation and I though since we are going to be going though a state that is more apt to have what were looking for, Ill see what I can find. The first ad I came to was for just the truck we had been looking for (including color) and we were going to be passing through Glenwood Springs in the next couple days. If I were to sum up our purchasing experience I would say, very reasonable. Korey was great. I think we made reasonable requests and Korey responded in kind. I’ve been around a time or two, the customer service reliability doesn’t exist. These guys made me take my truck back and forth 3 times to fix one issue. They lied to me multiple times about a tire rotation. I asked before I drove 1 hour if it was finally done. They mentioned to me that it was. On arrival I noticed it wasn’t done, now I’m here waiting an hour for something I’ve asked 3 times for. If you wanna go to a true ford dealer plz go to rifle. The family has been going to Glenwood Ford for decades. They are great guys and gals over there and are never too pushy when it comes to selling. They always work to find you the vehicle you want/need not just what they happen to have on the lot. The service department is run very professionally. They dont try to oversell you on random stuff but fully explain what you need and why you need it. The guys in the garage have always been helpful and very thorough.

Last year I bought a 2016 jeep wrangler right hand drive. I found it on the internet and contacted Jill. the sales girl. and told her I wanted It. I gave her a deposit Over the phone. I asked for picture and she gave me a video and went over the whole jeep and showed me every little thing like small scratches. while they were waiting on the shipper they sent it off to be detailed, then showed me another video. I was about 1800 miles away. they found me a shipper to deliver it to me, I asked her to have the jeep checked really good. they found a minor oil leak, and sent it to a jeep dealer to have it taken care of, I was happy because using OEM jeep parts work better than aftermarket parts, dont know why its just a jeep thing, they took care of it under warranty . they turned me over to mike in financing to take care of payment. they sent me paperwork to sign and send back. I got the money to them in a wire transfer they took care of everything which saved me time. the buying experience was great. I received the jeep and it was everything they told me. Thanks guys
The Service Manager (I believe her name is Karen) was a life saver! I live in Evergreen, CO which is 3 hours and 150 miles from Glenwood Springs Ford. I was returning home and heard a clunking noise in the back of my new Ford Explorer. I took it to Glenwood Springs Ford to make sure it was safe to drive home. Karen took a look, diagnosed the problem, put my car up on a lift and got a skilled technician to fix the problem. This took about 25 minutes, and was done with no charge. It could have taken a lot longer and she could have charged me whatever, but she didnt. Anyway, I think Karen, her technician and Glenwood Springs Ford are the Bees Knees and I appreciate what they did for me in a time of need. I recommend them 1000%!!!
I drove 3 hours to Glenwood Springs Ford for a specific car they had, and left not only with the car but with the best car buying experience I have had. Luis was my salesman whom I had been in touch with via e mail prior to meeting him there. Luis was good natured, friendly, straight forward and no pressure. He filled the tank up before he let me take it for a test drive. At sales time everything went smooth, the whole team involved in the process was great. It was the shortest time I have spent in a car buying process and the paperwork was simple and straight forward. We bought our Ford Explorer from Glenwood Springs Ford for our home in CO. We planned to shop at home and ship the car, but, decided that it was smarter to just buy locally. We basically did it over the phone and had great service and a great price. The same price, or better, than we received in person at home. Our salesman, Eric, was very helpful and spent a great deal of time reviewing the car features with me upon pickup. Will definitely use this dealership again.

I had to have a $10,000 repair done to my truck that took a couple of weeks. When I went to go pick up my truck, I got about 20 miles down the road before a hose clamp on the radiator blew off and it left me stranded at 5:40 pm on a Friday. The dealer and car rental place closed at 6 pm. I called Emily in service and she ran to the car rental place, got my rental car back and drove the car to me then had my truck towed back and repaired by 8 am the next day. Then Marcos delivered the car to me in Steamboat and returned my rental car too! Ive grown to expect to be disappointed when I do business with any car dealership. What a nice surprise to have Emily and Marcos provide me 5 star service! I wished I lived closer to Glenwood. If I did I wouldnt buy a car anywhere else! Thanks so much all!
I had shopped around but could not find the car I wanted at a fair price. I found Glenwood Springs Ford on line with a car I liked. I drove 90 miles to check them out. Eric Hiscutt explained all the features, took me for the test drive. I loved the car and we were able to work out a fare deal and I drove back in my new Mustang. I recommend them to anyone they are great people who will treat you right.

My salesperson, Amanda, was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and professional, going the extra mile to be sure that I understood all of the new technology on my magic new car. When delivery of the car to the dealership was a little later than predicted, the entire staff at Glenwood Springs Ford gave the prepping of my car high priority in order to have it ready for me at the promised time. My experience is very limited because I live out of state but a friend took her car there to get the thermostat replaced(should have asked for an estimate) oil change and thermostat over 500 dollars. I called my local dealer said should be around 200. Called another independent shop in Carbondale same 200. I politely asked if there could be an error and was told nope. Our service rate is 150 per hour and not based on real time but a software estimate of how long it could take. These guys definitely took advantage of a young lady that just didn’t ask enough questions. You really should be ashamed.Consequently the belt came off 2 days later( not their fault( I can’t see how) but got belt and both tensioner pulleys replaced for 200 in Carbondale, can’t imagine what these guys would have charged.
Chris made our finding a vehicle for our business easy, fun, and straightforward. When we couldnt pick it up for several days due to some uncertainty with the closing date, they held it on the lot while we figured things out. I would gladly do business with them again.

Well are experience from my sister and I was one of the worst experience on the world,on 01/25/2019 my sister and my self decide to by a truck for her which was a Toyota Tundra 2013 everything was great about the service and everything so my sister decide to use her credit union to pay off the truck that way she can get better interest,was a used truck but the sales person NEVER tell my sister that truck has a mechanical problems wich I think no body in the world is gonna by a used truck from a dealer with that problem special if you have family to ride the truck,we are not gonna put are baby boy on RISK in that truck
I worked with Amanda and had a great experience. Everything as promised and I think be both got a fair trade. Everyone was great to work with, after driving 3 hrs it was a relief to have everything go as planned.The only thing missing were the floor mats, and I was planning on replacing them anyway.

Unbelievably wonderful experience. There are no pushy, sleazy sales people here. Glenwood Ford is made up of a down to earth, easy to talk to, friendly and accommodating crew all the way from GM to salesman to finance officer. After almost 30 years in Roaring Fork Valley, I just learned you do NOT have to go to Denver to get a great deal on a vehicle. Visit them for your new car needs or check out their amazing and eclectic used inventory, you will not leave disappointed!
The sales team were very good however the extended warranty they sold is terrible.... DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED PROTECTION!!! on face value it sounds like it covers everything all factory installed original mechanical equipment then leaves an excluded section that excludes more parts than covered- in my case the throttle body assembly is mentioned by name- ironic considering the dealership that I broke down near has that part in stock do to the fact that it is a common problem in the 2016 F150s
Was able to buy one of my dream trucks here in the used parking lot for a descent price. The only sad part about it is that it never was detailed. It smelt like an air freshener was just sprayed and there was still crumbs and sticky stuff in lots of spots. Not to mention, my gas tank was completely empty and I had to go fill it ASAP or I wouldnt have made it past west glenwood. Great customer service though when it comes to the sales people!As far as the service department, I feel like myself and others are running into problems quite often. I took my truck here to get it looked at after a few weeks of owning it because I noticed a shaking/ pulling. They told me the alignment was slightly out and they fixed it for free but as far as the rest of the truck goes, it was okay.After hearing that and trusting that and being happy they helped me out, I still noticed a terrible shaking/ pulling still.I ended up getting a second opinion at a local shop, where they had told me my left tie rod was about to go out and if it would have while I was driving, it would have sent me off the road. I was able to get it fixed that day with a balance and re- alignment and tire rotation for$200.00. My truck is now doing much better.So overall...Sale Department - Great!Overall Customer Service- Great!Detailing Department- Not so great.Service- Not so great.
I was very happy with the whole experience of buying my brand new 2017 Escape. My sales lady, Cassandra Collins and the entire finance team were so willing to help. I had so many questions and had a hard time deciding if I wanted to buy used, new or lease. They were very helpful in making my decision painless, lol. I love my car!!!

First told us they could work on our motor Home and to Have the tow truck driver to bring it it, then told us it would be 4 or 5 days until the only lift they had big enough for it would be empty. This was after calling them and explaining we were traveling and the breaks went out. They sent us down the road where we camped in a truck lot for a week waiting for parts before we were able to get back on the road.
Misti and Aaron in the Service Department were fantastic! My husband and I were on vacation when our truck starting having some issues. Aaron was so helpful in finding out what was wrong and going above and beyond to help us! Their work was great and the costumer service was wonderful! We are on vacation and my Lincolns battery was acting up when we were in Ouray. We were so relieved when Sergio said he would squeeze us in to get it looked at. We were even more relieved he got it fixed and our vacation was not ruined in the least bit. Still got to do Adventure Park in Glenwood and Marcus was a sweetheart to come pick us up. This Ford service dept rocks!!
After locating the truck we wanted online we contacted Glenwood Springs Ford to inquire, that afternoon Gummy (our awesome salesman) called to followup and answered all our questions. It was great to deal with such a professional who was so eager to help us with any needs. When we found out that the F350 Super Duty DRW was also covered by Fords guarantee, well that cinched it and we drove from Denver to Glenwood Springs because we knew we would not find a better deal with such great service to boot! I bought a used Ford F250 from Glenwood Springs Ford last November. I walked away feeling good about my experience. The salesman, the manager, and the finance guy were all very friendly and helpful, the service was not the problem. I am not a mechanic and I know very little about fixing trucks, I relied on Glenwood Springs Ford to be honest about the truck they were selling and the condition of it, in fact i was told that Glenwood Springs Ford did all of the maintenance on the truck for the previous owner. Within 24 hours of driving off the lot the problems began. A warning light came on that I had never seen before and when I got home I noticed a puddle under the truck. I called Glenwood Springs Ford right away to discuss the problem and they got my truck in right away for repair. The warning light issues was fixed at the expense of the dealership about $700, I was pleased. However I was told that there was no leaks in the engine and that everything was fixed.....wrong...after each outing, upon my return home there was always a small puddle under my truck, not being a mechanic and trusting the dealership, I though this was normal for a diesel engine so I went about my business. When I finally got tired of seeing this puddle everyday I decided to get a second opinion and took the truck to a different dealership to have it looked at, Turns out the radiator and lower radiator hose were both leaking and then to add insult to injury I was advised that the turbo was also leaking and appeared to have been leaking for a significant time all to the tune of about $5,000. I bought the truck with no warranty and in as in condition...I understand that. I bought the truck on the reputation of Glenwood Springs Ford, they sold me a lemon, and I am confident they new what they were selling before they did it. I will never return to Glenwood Springs Ford for anything. Super Disappointing.
Appears to be a fairly busy dealership causing itself to be less customer friendly. Not that the employees are not friendly, but it gives them less time to attend to a customers needs, etc. Does not seemed to be organized in that the right hand does not know what the left is doing, with not enough communication between employees, and the customer. Not returning calls, but who knows why? Also upon purchase of the vehicle I made seems that the candor of one employee was lacking to some degree from the conversation about other products being offered for the vehicle & said cost for these items.
They were professional fast and efficient. We were in and out in less than 2 hours from test drive to signing. Joel was very good and would highly recommend him to everyone! We love our new Explorer.
