After many many years of trauma in the dentist chair I was afraid to go to the dentist. But when I went and saw Dr. Sandhu and his staff for the first time, all that fear was removed. Dr. Sandhu is the best dentist Ive ever been to. Hes gentle and kind. Very much a perfectionist at his work. Hes very soft spoken, kind and explains everything that needs to be done in detail. His staff is friendly. I highly recommend this dental office West Valley Family Dental.

Came to this dentistry for my 6 year olds agonizing pain in one of his teeth. They took an X-ray of a single area of where he indicated pain. After review they then stated they couldn’t help and referred us to another office not associated with them. Once we got him to the “referral” the next day and them sending the X-ray. The new dentistry took a full mouth X-ray and determined that he had a severe infection and needed antibiotics immediately! If the West Valley Family Dental would have done their job we could have began antibiotics to alleviate my child’s pain and potentially a far worse scenario.Based on our experience, We will continue to chose another Dentist.

This was a great experience. From the time I entered the office with all the office staffs (Tricia, Kaitlin, and Ariana...not sure of spellings) professionalism, timeliness, and excellent communications, through the exceptional work done by the Hygienist (cant remember the exact name), and finally how Dr. Sandhus dentistry and interaction with me should be a model for all Dentists when providing dental services, and interacting, and communicating with patients. From my personal experience, I can unequivocally recommend this Dental Office and Dr. Sandhu for your dental care. I was fully and comprehensively given excellent dental care from start to finish, always informed about everything that was needed, and all my questions were respectfully and professional answered by all.

Customers beware!!! This place has really deceptive billing practices. You will pay at the time of service and they will continue to send you bills MONTHS later for the same procedure. The last time I went there was in August 2020 and I am still getting random bills that give no explanation on the statement other than insurance adjustment increase. When I try to call I get told that my insurance company doesnt think they charged enough. This has been the case the last 3 times Ive received a random bill in the mail. They take complete advantage of their customers and I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy!

This place is super frustrating. The first visit felt like a sales pitch of thousands of dollars of work and treatments when all we wanted was cleanings. Then their credit card machine is always down and they want to write your card information down. Felt like they are focused more on revenue then care.

Had swollen upper gum day before leaving to go back home to Seattle. Called West Side Dental because I used to be a patient at one time. They squeezed me in before closing, took xrays and the dentist did see an infection, drained it and made recommendations on a specialist I should see back in Seattle. She then gave me a prescription for the infection. I never would have been able to fly the next day without West Side Dental taking the time to see me on such short notice. They were friendly, concerned and sympathetic to my dilemma and took great care of me. Wish I could take West Side Dental back to Seattle with me!!

I met the staff of West Valley Family Dentistry, for the first time, yesterday. They were so friendly and interested in me as an individual, that I keep thinking it must have been a dream. I have not encountered a business, of any kind, in a very long time that could even come close to them in their professionalism, communication and education to me, as well as their organizational skills. The office ran like a well-oiled machine, and I was kept informed of each step. All I can say is that there are many businesses out there that could learn a lot from them.

I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great dentist. The entire staff was very friendly and genuinely nice.

Does not respect their patients time. Dr pardo and most of the staff has left. Since then this place is not the same. I went for scheduled cleaning and was told if I was able to, I could show up early since the prior appointment canceled. I showed up 20 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment only to wait for 30 mins before getting my teeth cleaned by a different hygienist than I had made my appointment with several months prior. After my cleaning I was introduced to my third dentist in 1 year. He was looking at xrays from 9 months earlier and telling me I needed several fillings and maybe even a crown. I then asked why the prior dentist who looked at the same images 9 months before did not have the same opinion and I was told that its normal for dentists to disagree. I showed up 10 minutes early for my next appointment to have the work done and waited for 35 minutes before again asking when I would be seen. They told me it would be best to reschedule. I moved my appointment a few days and showed up ten minutes early again. But yet again I waited 25 minutes and was not called to be seen. Thats when I had them cancel my appointment entirely. They have no respect for my time in the middle of my work day and it is questionable as to if I even needed the work done in the first place. 2 thumbs down, 0 stars if I could.

Disappointed that they can not keep their appt times since it takes a month to get An appt for Dr V!! Was called by the office staff Kassie after not being able to get in for months for my sons braces to have everything adjusted and checked up on that they couldnt accommodate my appt but they needed to move it to a week later and couldnt keep the same time!! I had to be inconvenienced pulling my son out of physical school to have to settle for an appt time that was different than what was scheduled a month before!! Very frustrating that they would not move the patient to the same time slot a week later if they are the ones changing things.. NOT THE PATIENT making changes. They need to have better communication with the office staff that will mirror the same times for the existing patients if they are making the change to an existing appointment. Not acceptable business practice!!!

This is a great dentist! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. On this last visit for a cleaning when a small cavity was found they squeezed me in to do the filling right then versus having to make another appointment and come back, it was great!!

I never thought I would ever say I had a great experience at the dentist of all places, but it was a nice change from prior years of going. Our family had been going here for many years - Dr Pardo and team were awesome. But now it is nothing but a very bad experience since they were acquired by some dental equity conglomerate. We are friends w/ Dr Pardo and most of the staff, and almost 100% of the staff have left, noting the bad management and culture. In addition, they cancelled multiple appointments for members of our family, never bothering to let us know by phone, email, or USPS. We re-scheduled - guess what? They LOST the appointments! How is that even possible? And on the 3rd cancelled appointment, my wife finally got in for a cleaning, and the hygenist broke the front orthodontic bracket. And now they extract new fees under the guise of COVID, which none of our new dentists assess. Then they sent a bill collector after us for a bill that had been paid aomost a year ago. Their excuse? Oh, we have a new billing system when we changed over and lost a lot of data. So much for HIPAA compliance! I spoke w/ regional manager Lori, who promised to make things right and was going to send an email w/ an apology and accountability statement. Well, 2 weeks later, nothing. So I call her, and she says, My VP said I dont have to do that. OK, great, then why didnt you let us know instead of letting us hang, waiting for correspondence that was not going to come as expected? The formerly nice practice is dirty, bare, and unwelcoming now. Poor professionalism, bad attitude, bad management, and the loss of customers (which are cheaper to keep after 10+ years!). Go to a private dentist - these equity groups care less about the patient, and do all they can to assess more fees to drive the cost up, while service and quality have gone down extensively.

The staff was very kind, welcoming, and professional. My dental hygienist took the time to not only tell me how my gums and teeth were doing but offer solutions that I can do at home to help improve those areas. I highly recommend this place.

Yesterday, I had a complex root canal done at this office. I previously worked with a dentist in North Scottsdale where I live but his office is not genuine or caring. My daughter, who lives in Peoria recommended her dentist, West Valley Family Dental. I started using them in April 2017 and I am thrilled. The staff is friendly, caring and compassionate. The dentist, Dr. Henderson is really nice, understanding and an excellent practitioner. I would highly recommend them. Ron

I had sensitivity to Cold on a crown that was put in one year ago. Dr Pardo was kind & very professional when explaining the possible causes. After treatment at the office I left very content & would recommend this dentist to anyone (including my husband who may need attention soon!) And quite surprised that there was NO CHARGE for these services a YEAR LATER!!

I went into West Valley Family Dental with my Tooth in a BAG! Walked out 1 hour later with it firmly replaced in my mouth!! Now, who could ask for more than that. Well, believe it or not, I DID receive more than that. Their new dental hygenist, Taylor, was fantastic. She was so good, I was actually dozing while she was cleaning my teeth. Now who can say they were that relaxed and comfortable while having someone poking around in their mouth with sharp instruments? Trust me on this one, these guys are GREAT! Dr. Pardo is awesome! He had a busy schedule yesterday and got me right in since I had a dental emergency! Knocked half of my front tooth out and He was able to fully rebuild my front tooth in less than 30 minutes. Him and his team are amazing. I’ve been going to them since 2005. This office always makes you feel safe and comfortable. During this last visit Dr Rael created a treatment plan for a chipped tooth that has been causing me some pain. Looking forward to getting that fixed.

I am changing my review from 5 star previously posted to 2 stars. The practice was sold to DENTALWORKS and they screwed up my billing so bad it is ridiculous. Denise from the West Valley office was the only saving grace for 2 stars. Background: I was quoted a price for a procedure. After they checked coverage with my insurance company (all routine) I completed the procedure and paid them in full prior to leaving the same day. I then received a bill for $681.20. Ater a phone call to Denise, I then received another bill for $628.20, then another for $179.20, then $129.20 and finally was told I owed only my deductible. Odd that the price changed so much and so often? I had a subsequent office visit (six month follow up which is how long this thing took) that I cancelled and changed dentists because they would not waive the deductible I (apparently) owed. I called today and paid the $50 just to be done with them for good. I again dealt with Denise who as always was very pleasant.

I have been going here since I was little and always saw Dr. Pardo. He was such a nice dentist but he unfortunately left the practice about a year ago along with some of his staff. Since his departure it seems like things have really gone downhill. My biggest complaint is with billing. Every time I get a procedure done they quote me a specific amount which I pay when the procedure is completed. Almost every single time I will receive an additional bill weeks (sometimes months later) and sometimes it is for hundreds of dollars more than what I initially paid. About 6 months ago I got a crown and paid $800, only to be billed an additional $372 MONTHS later. I just got another surprise bill in the mail a few days ago for a maintenance cleaning I had back in August. They are trying to charge me an additional $140 on top of the $122 I paid at the time of service. The only explanation it gives on the statement is Insurance Adjustment Increase. What does that mean exactly? I called the office and spoke to a girl that was really unhelpful and told me I need to speak to someone higher up named Robin and provided her phone number. I called Robin and her excuse was that my insurance company doesnt think West Valley Dental charged enough for the procedure which is why Im being billed for the additional amount. What kind of explanation is that and how is that even legal??? Ive had the same insurance and have gotten the same maintenance cleaning every 3 months for years and years and have always paid the same price. Now they are trying to charge me almost double because my insurance company doesnt think they charged enough? This is so insane to me and I feel completely taken advantage of. I am going to pay the additional amount just so I can be done with this place and their deceptive billing practices. If you are considering coming here for your dental needs my advice to you is...DONT!

He has been my dentist for about 13 years, and I was sadly surprised when I went in for my latest cleaning, to find out that he was gone only after a new dentist came in after my cleaning to give me an exam. This transition was not handled well at all. There should have been a letter and/or email sent to Dr. Pardos patients announcing his departure.

Ive gone through braces back in high school, to mouth guards, and they have been there throughout the process. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the dentists/dental hygienists are very knowledgable.

My Crown that West Valley Dental installed in 2015 fell off last week(2018)and they charged me over $81. 00 to put it back on. They wanted $108.00 at first and I had to haggle with them. Very disappointing. I would think a crown that cost between $800-$1,000 should be warrantied for at least five years. I hope they read this and change the policy

West Valley Family has been a huge blessing to our family. They always get us in right away if need be and do amazing work.
