Westwind has been my dentist for the past 6 years. Always friendly and do excellent work. The only thing stopping me from 5 stars is that the water mouth flush machine wasnt working during my cleaning which made the process a little uncomfortable. The hygienist Colleen was very understanding.

Dr. Samandari is wonderful at dentist but plan on being at your appt.for a while. The office never calls me back or gets my questions answered. Very frustrating

Westwind Dental was awesome. I had a badly impacted wisdom tooth and was extremely nervous about having it removed. Dr. Sam was great. If anything, the extraction was the most painless part of the entire process. He was in and out of there like a demons whisper. I experienced no pain during or after.Colleen, the dental hygienist, is the true rock star of the place. Man does that lady work hard. Not only is she caring and sincere in providing top notch dental care for her patients, shes thorough and did a fantastic job on a very nervous patient (me). She put me at ease and demonstrated so much empathy and kindness when working on my mouth. Best cleaning experience Ive ever had.Cant say enough good things about the folks who work here. Everyone from the front desk to the dental staff is great. If youre nervous about dental work, dont be. These guys will put you at ease and keep you comfortable. A big thank you to everyone who works here.

Only one visit so far but first impressions tell a lot! This place is great... they still seen me even though I was a half hour late... no attitudes... just a lighthearted vibe... the woman who did my X-rays (Destiny) is awesome!!! Friendly... Have been with Westwind for over 10 years. The dental work they provided me has always been first class.Their office on TBird with Dr Sam is great. Dr Sam will talk you thru whatever procedure he s about to perform . He will inform you of what you can expect to feel at any given time while working on your teeth.

The location, Thunderbird and 51 Avenue, is great. Very nice people and Dr. Sam is awesome.

Made an appointment here because I thought the price was a pretty good deal. They made me an appt for exam, cleaning and x-rays. I went in to my appt, sat in the chair, the dentist did the exam and they then told me they dont have a hygienist there that day so I wont be getting a cleaning. Also, they said the price I paid was just for the exam and x-rays and they apologize that they gave me wrong information that it included the cleaning. I told them I confirmed twice over the phone and they said its a call center that answers and they are not trained right so they give misinformation. I said its misleading and all they did was say yeah sorry. Then they made me a separate appointment for cleaning ($100) and I agreed. I confirmed my appt 4,5 days prior. They call me 3 days before my appt and they tell me they need to cancel it and they cant book me until August!!! Now its June 5. I ask why and they said they dont have a hygienist again for a week! What??! Why are you guys even operating? They said everything is booked until sometime in August. They took my money for exam and x-rays just to scam me and not provide me a cleaning. Im not going to wait over 2 months due to their incompetency. Not to mention I took a day off work to go to my appointment. I asked for a refund since Im going to be visiting another office that actually has available hygienists and they said most likely they cant do anything about a refund and can only apologize. These are scammers, save your trouble and go to another dental office that actually has staff working in it. This office only has 1 hygienist that visits the office whenever they are bored and they apparently dont want to hire another one because they want to be cheap. Thats how you will lose your patients one by one.

I had some anxiety and was a little scared if the work I needed done. But the entire staff is so wonderful. They are so kind and gentle and make you feel so comfortable. I cannot say enough of good things about this place. I would recommend it to anybody. And the receptionist, Karolin is such a sweetheart. So kind and caring. Everyone is just Absolutely Wonderful. Wouldnt go anywhere else. The staff that work with the dentist, especially Judy, are all incredible.

Dr. Fehmi and staff are wonderful! I actually received more work for the same rate as other dentists. First time in over 25 years I dont have to hide my teeth! They are beautiful now!

Appointment was at 10 am. It is 11:30 and still not been seen. It takes 1 1/2 hours to verify insurance info? Front office customer service needs improvement.

Very easy experience! I came in as a new patient and found a very friendly and helpful staff. There was no wait at all, x-rays were taken quickly and painlessly, and only had to be done once. Issues were found and treatment was able to begin that very day. From start to finish, all involved in my care were professional, proficient and friendly. Highly satisfied!

Dr. Fehmi is very polite and considerate about the best option for me when getting my braces. Judy, the dental assistant, is very professional and attentive to the patients needs.

Our regular dentist moved out of state and so we took a chance on this dental office. We are so glad we did! Staff, hygienist and doctor are friendly, professional, and do excellent work. We are happy new patients.

This was by far the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. The dentist was very professional, gentle and did a very accurate job!! And I am very satisfied with her work!One thing that makes this dental office different than others is the main dentist at this location had went out of her way to creat a financial plan to make dental work more affordable, dental work will always be very expensive but my original bill was cut in half due to the plan that exist at this office. Would highly recommend to anybody and age. 😃

All of my dental needs were met with professionalism and in a very timely manner. Dr. Fehme and his assistant provide great care. I will be returning when the need arises.

I’ve been going to WestWind dental for a little over two years now and I went in for a filling and 1 wisdom tooth extraction Friday February 1st. Dr. Fehmi knew I was nervous and was very patient with me and made sure I was okay throughout the whole process. His assistant was very sweet and helpful as well. It’s now 3 days later and I feel great, pain free and healing great! Westwind Deltal does great work!

Long but please take a minute to read as I feel everyone needs to know what to expect (especially in healthcare).As a Phoenix native I can honestly say Dr. Fehmi is the best dentist Ive ever been to. I feel rude saying this but Im glad my old dentist is no longer here & sent his patients to this office. Going to the dentist has never been anything Ive ever looked forward to until now bc I leave feeling good & excited about my teeth! Prior to his office, I cant remember the last time Ive had a cleaning & I fully expected to hear you need a deep cleaning nope, they didnt pull that on me & after it felt so great.I originally went bc an old filling was falling out. Like every other dentist Ive been to I only go when I had to, something was wrong. Like most people I have some major dentist horror stories which is why I know theres something different & amazing at this 51st Ave & Thunderbird office! Everyone there is great!After years of what I refer to as my depression teeth (basically not taking care of myself & definitely not my teeth) everytime I went to a dentist it was crazy expensive & the pain (during & after) any procedure was bad. Im proud to say in only 5 appointments theyve resolved ALL my dental issues Ive put off for far too long (for lack of $ or out of fear of pain).After my 1st appointment I was SO IMPRESSED & theyve only continued to impress me. When others wouldve just done a root canal, hes done what he can to save the tooth. The only root canal I needed Dr. Fehmi said he could do it but wanting the best possible outcome for me & in this situation (4 roots in the tooth) he preferred I see an endodonist that is with the same practice (Ive had even worse experiences with endodonist than dentists so I was hesitant) But he assured me she was great & honestly she was, I didnt even need to take any advil or tylenol after the root canal, thats a first!This entire practice, from the receptionist, dental hygienist, dental assistants, dentist & endodonist, has blown my mind, theyre handsdown the best! They really listen to you, any complaint/issue is not a bother bc they want it done right & you to feel good (only one Ive had was a crown being too tall but was still nervous to bring it up due to past experiences) but they have no problem correcting anything & as his assistant said hed rather know about it than have you in any discomfort, hes such a perfectionist.At my last appointment I had to laugh bc a lady was checking out & just gushing over this being her best dental experience & how amazed she was that they charge less & will work with you on the financial part. It was funny bc that was me after my 1st appointment - I was in awe & I still am! My next appointment will be the finale to fix 10 yrs of dental work Ive put off & it feels awesome to be rid of my depression teeth & then to add that I didnt suffer any physically pain & neither did my wallet vs other dentist is still so crazy to me! If youre looking for a new dental office do yourself a favor & schedule an appointment. IM SO HAPPY I DID! Thank you Dr. Fehmi & staff, youre what all dental practices should strive to be!

Terrible terrible dentist practice. I showed up for a simple check up and they told me I needed thousands of dollars worth of work done, including crowns on all of my front teeth. I got a second opinion from another dentist and they said I needed one or 2 things done and itd cost me a fraction of what this place quoted me. DONT GO HERE. ITS A SCAM.

Awesome dental office. First off alma is amazing made me feel so welcomed. second the office smells and looks for clean I totally forgot I was even at the dentist. once I got pulled back by the assistant they took a full exam included my health issues and went over everything, they did send me to their nurse practitioner due to my high blood pressure (same day) and while I was there got a physical. Once exam was done I saw the dr which was very kind. What a wonderful dental office!

Please please do not go here. Absolutely horrible experience beginning to end. I can not believe I came in for a cap, paid 1200 for it, and a good 2-3 months later still dont have one on my tooth. Ive been in 5-6 times and each time some type of issue. The doctor not being in or the cap not being made correctly. I am not joking when I say this, and now Im sitting here with a disintegrated temporary cap and my tooth completely exposed. Good thing theyre not open until Tuesday. Such a joke. They would say we will call you when its in by tomorrow, not hear from them, and have to do my own damn follow up. They do not call you when they say they will, they do not have a company that makes caps correctly, and their main Doctor is in literally once every week or two. Dont have time the day hes in? Oh wait another 2 weeks. Ive been in so many times for such a simple procedure Im so blown away theyre still a company. Now I have an exposed tooth and sitting here Friday night waiting until Tuesday for it to be taken care of. Seriously, dont go to these guys.

Westwind dental Thunderbird experience:BUYER BEWAREMy wife Hedelyn Baker who is an immigrant from the Philippines and speaks broken English went in for an appointment and they told her that she had gum disease and that it would cost nearly 25,000 to fix all her teeth. We could not afford it and our insurance won’t cover dental for 6 more months. We decided to wait until we were covered to get the dental work done and seek out a cheaper alternative we just can’t afford it.My wife received a call to come in and get a deep dental cleaning and was told that this was covered by insurance. My wife said she would talk with me and then schedule an appointment. We talked and she called to schedule an appointment and was told there was an opening the same day and she agreed. She went in there and there was not much conversation just went back to get a cleaning. After about new hour sitting in the dental chair she was going to leave. On the way out she was told that she could not leave until she signed some papers. And that the were for an automatic checking account withdraw for $1429.72. My wife wanted to call me and they said no she just had to sign. I am not sure how it is even legal to make someone sign a document after sitting in a dental chair for one hour.So she walked out of the office with no documents at all and a $1429.72 ACH agreement. I went there and tried to find out what was performed and told them that we could not do a $1429.72 ACH withdraw and that I would have to close the account. I offered to pay a cash payment but they would not give me the amount I would have to pay.The following day I asked my wife to go and get the medical records, receipts, list of procedures performed and the follow-up care instructions that we paid $65.00 for follow-up instructions. They informed her that she would have to pay $25 for the records. Reluctantly we did pay the $25 but only received a receipt for the previous days service, a brochure insert from the drug manufacturer and then gave her the ACH doc she signed. No records, No dictations, No x-rays and nothing pertaining to her treatment plan all for an additional $25.I am not sure what happened but know that there was a lot of misunderstanding and confusion and I feel that they were taking advantage of my wife because of her lack of understanding of the English language and life in America. She went in for the cleaning covered buy our insurance and walked out unexpectedly with an ACH payment for $1400.00.This is the worst place we have ever visited and cant believe they can get away with this. I have never filed a complaint in my 55 years of life but feel that this must be addressed. To keep other innocent people from getting cheated and causing the distress that my wife and I are experiencing right now because of this.Buyer beware this place will not do what they say and you may end up in debt or worse yetHedelyn BakerRobert Baker
