When my previous dentist retired, I thought I would try Dr. Murphy after checking her out online. Best thing I ever did regarding my dental care. She is absolutely the best, professional, knowledgeable, caring and just a very pleasant and personable person. The staff is also outstanding, professional and extremely helpful. The only problem is I can only give them 5 stars - they deserve 10!!!!!

Ive been to many dentists in my life but only until I came to Dr. Stephanie Murphy did I discover that shes my favorite of all time. Shes very calm and laid back. Nothing aggressive about her or the way she treats. Just always feels so low stress. Her office is cozy and calming and I love her staff, all so friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Murphy has treated my injured son from a baseball to the mouth on a moments notice and her office treated me via phone for a massive toothache over Thanksgiving day when the world was shut down. I have also loved the doctors she has referred me to for root canals and tooth extraction. If anyone ever asks me about a dentist in town, shes the first and only I recommend!

Dr Murphy is a phenomenal dentist!! From needing a cavity filling fixed to smoothing out a slight chip in my front tooth. These appointments always make me nervous, but I left telling a friend she is a “smile whisperer!!” She made me LOVE my smile and how my two front teeth look (her attention to detail is uncanny) and how comfortable/calming/confident her demeanor is. I trust I am in good hands. Dentist appts can be unnerving for many. “Smile whisperer” applies to both scenarios. Highly recommend!!

I cannot express this strongly enough: DO NOT GET TRAPPED in receiving service from Stephanie Murphy DDS. I was hoping to get braces and saw the great reviews for Stephanie Murphy so assumed that it would be the best place to go. I honestly could not have been more wrong.As soon as I first went in, I felt something was off by the rude behavior of the office staff, but I brushed this off. It didnt end, though. Plainly, I have never felt so disrespected by a medical provider before. Additionally, over the process of receiving orthodontics here I started to notice that the alignment of my teeth began to worsen. At first I thought I was imagining it, but by the end I couldnt comfortably close my teeth while my jaw was at rest.After 6 months with a different provider, I have noticed significant progress in the health and alignment of my teeth, proving that I wasnt just imagining this poor service. Im not sure if the reviews are fake or if my case was just an outlier, but I definitely suggest looking elsewhere if you are looking for top-quality dental care.

On August 17th I went to Stephanie Murphy to fix a chipped front tooth. This is my 3rd visit to her clinic In the last 3 years but I failed to post a review the previous visits. I feel compelled to do so now since every visit has been SUPERB! The receptionist (Shannon) is very nice and accommodating on the phone to schedule your appointments and even more friendly as she greets you upon your arrival. Stephanie is an expert in her profession and does STELLAR work! FLAWLESS, GENTLE, and she explains things so thoroughly in the process. Her Wing-woman Mindy is also quite adept in assisting Stephanie during the procedure. They work very well together. I would recommend Stephanie Murphy to anyone in need of any type of dental work, Children as well!! Top notch dental care provider and the HIGHEST RATING POSSIBLE!!! 👍👍👍👍

This was the first time I was in the office for anything more than a clearning, so when I needed a tooth fixed/filled, I wasnt sure what to expect . No reason to worry. Dr. Murphy explained every step she took. She and her assistant made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure, and Dr Murphy was incredibly quick and really good. I cant even tell which tooth she worked on :)

Just here to leave a well-deserved shining review for Stephanie Murphy’s dental office. I was recommended to them by my relative. No better person to trust the advice of than family. After our long time family dentist retired, my relative spent months hopping around from dentist to dentist. All the other dentist left a bad taste in her mouth, no pun intended. LOL! She finally settled on Dr. Murphy with nothing but high regard. Seems like a lot of other dentist in the Milwaukee and surrounding areas are just looking for a fast buck and that the almighty dollar is their sole purpose. My relative was told various things about her teeth that ranged from off-the-wall to scary. And things discrepant from dentist to dentist, but Dr. Murphy lucidly broke down to her what all the other dentists were getting at and what things boiled down to, that what some of these other dentists were talking about was not much a concern as was made out and what really needed handling. Same with me, I had been going to a trusted family dentist my whole life with nothing but positive reviews from my dentist on my teeth, Dr. Ward in Milwaukee in case you’re wondering. Fast forward, I visit another dentist after only a year and suddenly I apparently have 101 things wrong with my teeth even though I regularly brush, do not eat candy and my teeth weren’t bothering me at all. They claimed I needed a bunch of fillings because of a lack of flossing. Fast forward, I go to Dr. Murphy’s and they complimented my teeth. They said what’s in between my teeth did not call for any fillings, just regular flossing would resolve it. Dr. Murphy did recommend a small filling for something she described as although minor, likely to become worse. That was akin what I heard from my previous trusted family dentist the one time in like a decade he thought I should have a filling, over something minor he was afraid might become worse. I got the filling put in a month later by Dr. Murphy. Dr. Murphy made getting a filling a very enlightening, insightful and painless process. Dr. Murphy takes care to explain to you each step of what she is doing while performing. Makes it riveting for the patient. She is very deliberate and painstaking in operation. Marvelously impressed with the way she does business and the process was painless. She explains, asks questions to get your take and shows an amazingly positive attitude and open communication. All of her staff likewise, stellar attitudes and communication. They are all bright, cheery and easy to talk to. If you are looking for a dentist who are legit/not shyster’ish, logic-based, well-reasoned, transparent, painstaking, delicate, and good-natured, this is definitely the place for you. So relieved I have a lifelong dentist again after the retirement of Dr. Ward.

I just love this dental office. They have modern equipment, a pleasant atmosphere, and very good staff. Most importantly, Dr. Murphy herself is the best. She has diagnosed and treated dental problems for me so successfully that Im to the point that I have total confidence in her. Her skills are nicely complemented by her kind and caring personality.

Dr. Murphy came highly recommended, but I was still skeptical my almost 3-year old (who hates the doctor with a vengeance) would like it. After all, there were no special pediatric dentistry bells and whistles. But the whole staff was so nice and gentle with him, and he loved it. That night, when a family member asked him what he did that day, he said excitedly, I went to the dentist, even though wed spent most of the day at the zoo. I couldnt have asked for a better first dental experience for him.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Murphy for years but brought my 2.5 year old for his first dental visit today and everyone was so kind and did great with him! The office staff were all very friendly to him and we now know everyone’s name and what they do, haha. The dental assistant who was cleaning his teeth (Susan) talked him through every bit and showed him each item/tool she was going to use. They were excellent! Thanks for helping make his first visit so easy!

Dr. Murphy and her dental assistants are very kind and professional. Her primary office staff is a different story. We switched dental insurance to a more expensive provider in order to remain patients with Dr. Murphy. After a six month waiting period, determined by insurance, her staff cancelled my appointments without telling me. They left a message asking if I would like to reschedule so that they could get an insurance estimate (which they had already recieved six months prior), but when I called to find out about the appointment time they hesitated. I was told I could still have the first appointment, with a deposit. I said that was fine. Then about 30 minutes later I received a call saying my second appointment had been cancelled, and when would I like to reschedule. I asked why it was cancelled and they said because they hadnt been sure the insurance estimate would be received in time (the same one they had six months prior). I scheduled with another dentist due to this disservice, and when I called to let Dr. Murphys office know, the individual (Shannon)l who had originally cancelled my appointments became agressive and told me that she had told me in the voice message that all my appointment would be cancelled, which is a flat out lie. No matter how much I like a provider, front staff treatment in this manner is unacceptable and the only reason for my family to switch dentists.

I loved the state-of-the-art procedure for crowns. Two hours from drilling to having the crown completely installed in my mouth--and a perfect fit on the first try. The whole staff is really knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I liked how everything was explained--no surprises. My previous dentist for about 35 years retired, and I was a bit uneasy abour replacing him. I sure picked a winner.
