I got my lashes done and she said just use oil or buy the glue remover . she used so much that still to this day 7 months later I have no eye lashes . whatever she did took my eyelashes off and my eyes swell up . Ive seen so many others go through the same thing . we should all sue this place . DO NOT GO TO CATHY .. I still dead going out of my house unless I go right to the store and buy some cheap ones . its not right and she gonna tell me non-refundable or warranty I paid like 50$ bucks for trash work and a lifetime of insecurities. The meaning of customer service is lost in this establishment. Asked for pedicure. She started filing my nail polish off instead of using acetone remover then got an attitude when I explained to her how to easily remove Color Street nail applications. She was rough, forceful and nasty. I should have left but I was with a friend. The only time she was nice was at the end when she knew she got a good tip cause another lady told her and she was super fake sweet about her ‘thank you’. Will not ever go back. My only hope if you choose this location is you get the older lady like my friend did. She was nice and gentle.

I will not be returning to this place. They did a poor job on my nails. You can see streaks of lines through them. Had nail polish on the palms of my hands. Cathy is also rude. If she hurts you or makes you bleed she does not apologize. She continues, or grabs her phone and ignores you. She rushed through my nails and pedicure.The only one that actually is very polite and sweet is an older lady. If you have to go to this place as for her. Not Cathy and not the guy.

Manicure on natural nails was poor! Gel polish started to come off in exactly a week. After cleaning my nails the lady started applying the nail polish right away, usually you would wash your hands. Nail polish was around my nail skin and wasn’t cleaned up. Gel polish wasn’t smooth, it was more of a bulk type. Very disappointed.

Watch out for hidden fees! They dont tell you extra fees of normal things you would expect from a pedicure and fill until its almost time to pay. Ridiculous add ons that they make up to make more money. Had to ask them to correct my crooked nails several times. Have people in there that probably just started to do nails a week ago (SUPER SLOW)! Poor ladies that were there when I walked in looked defeated as they told me they were there for hours for a simple pedicure. Everyone else canceled their other services due to them being so slow. And no, they werent packed smh just slow!... They got me this time as they were my last resort. Ill try my own nails before ever going back there!! Then the man tried to chase me outside the salon accusing me of not paying their made up amount, when he miscounted my cash smh. GET IT TOGETHER!

I go to Nail Star all the time. Never had a problem. Always pretty quick and I leave loving my nails. Love the owners and they treat everyone with respect. Much better than a lot of nail salons I’ve been too. Like the in and out

Very disappointing! Not the experience I hoped for. First and last visit. Although the technician was lovely and my nails look nice, thats about it. I look forward to the experience, to relaxing. I called FIRST to request a male technician, as I want a good foot and leg massage (dont mind paying extra). When I arrived there was not a male technician, as requested. I explained what I was wanting and gave it a try. It was stressful, painful, awkward, and far from relaxing. There was no massage at all ( the main reason I go), one was at my feet while the other was pulling on my hands. A big basket of colors was dropped in my lap, and it was total chaos from there. I couldnt wait to leave. I wont be back. If all you want is nice nails, this is your place. If you want the experience of pampering, relaxing, and destressing..... dont go here.

I absolutely love this salon! I get my nails & lashes done on the regular and I have always been highly satisfied. The technicians are professional, promt, and the service is great quality and fast. My nails look like I spent all day at the salon, when in reality Ive only spent less than an hour! The nail technicians are very creative! I can find a nail design on Google & they can easily create it without any doubt or difficulty. Everyone always asks me where I get my nails and lashes done...Nail Star is highly recommended & will always be my first choice!

Faithful monthly visits, found a gift card which had expired. Would not honor it . I mean really ???? I go there every month!!!! They got the money and absolutely know me and my loyalty. Poor business rules. Any business could negotiate and change their mind regarding such . I would think they would want me to return but not happening now. Not a worker, the business owners decision. Not smart . Coulda offered me half at least . They got my last 60$. Plenty other spots . Guess they don’t need my business . Best of luck . Not 1 customer in there the whole time I was there . Worst place ever n this was the first time I got my nails done professionally I got my nails done on April 9th and 2 of them broke off today n I called asked for a refund they wouldnt give me my money back they said they I could come in and get my nails fixed up they would charge me again n plus when I left there I noticed that 1 of my nails was loose this place shouldnt ever existed plus I paid $65 to get my nails done im never going there again they owe me money back

Took them 3 hours to do me and my friends nails. Went to A&R and they were to busy so decided to go here last minute. Me and my friend walked into the salon to no one but us. neither one of us got what we asked for and i paid $45 and she payed $60. when i brought up the problem of them not being what i asked for the lady grabbed my friends nails and kept over taking me so i wasn’t able to tell her my concern. The situation began bigger when another client got up and they aloud her to get loud and call me names. i do not recommend this place to anyone, they are unprofessional.

I have a problem with the fact that my sister was overcharged for a gel manicure and pedicure... She got a basic job done and was charged $105. She did not get a design, no extra detailing, she didn’t get her eyebrows done or anything else just a simple job... I have never heard of a gel manicure being $60. This is her second time going to this salon or any salon period but I promise you she will not be back an someone needs to give her money back.Update: I called today and asked how much was a gel manicure and pedicure they said $90 so why is she charged an extra $20...

They were super nice and fast. It was very affordable too. I looked them up and decided to give them a try. The reviews lead me here. I am from NY and glad I went to this salon. They made me feel very welcome.

First time going and honestly Kathy and I believe his name is John were very friendly. During this pandemic I made a big mistake and went to a Nail Techs house that was advertising her services on social media to only have a horrible experience. Kathy took her time with my pedicure and even John doing my nails. They made sure to keep a smile on my face. They have a new reliable customer because I definitely refuse to go anywhere else! This place is very clean and Kathy isn’t pushy like other nail techs.

After over 2 years its clear I wont go anywhere else. So many services and very reasonable prices. My go-to is a gel manicure and I love how many colors and brands they offer. The atmosphere of their large spa is so calm and very enjoyable... I recommend this spa to all friends and family.

Came in here for a last minute manicure and pedicure. They are great here! They were able to fit me in and I LOVE to see all the tools in sterilized auto clave packs! They are clean and have good customer service. For my nails I wanted something i had never had before and man did they do a great job!!!

Its a toss up with this place. I have had them done beautifully and can go back and the same guy do a bad job. Last time I went I got a lady that filed my nails up and down. OUCH! When she was finished my nails were thick bulky and just horrible. I dont have the time to get them fixed. Have had them done for one day and things are already getting stuck under the gel polis . That is a BIG NO for me !

Very fast and efficient. The woman who did my eyebrows was good but a little rude- wouldnt let me tell her what i wanted. She did a good job either way though! I was in and out within 10 minutes which was pretty impressive.

There’s a black lady that works in there .. she’s very rude and doesn’t know how to speak to ANYONE! I’m not sure who would hire such an animal to work in a business!!! They use extra clue to stick down your eyelashes because they don’t know how to blend them in! I’m definitely contacting the better business bureau!!

The nicest people out of any nail place I’ve been to. They always get your nails right and their shellac stays on soo long!

They messed up my nails horribly and when I called to complain and told them I wanted my money back because it was atrocious they told me no I have to pay for my rent and my supplies offered to fix it but they’re beyond repair I don’t trust them touching my hands ever again I recommend nobody go I give it a one store cause I can’t give it a zero I have to pay more money to go get them fixed $45 down drain

My boyfriends daughter and I went for full sets and they got polish all over our hands, the cut her with the dremel and there was already cut nails on the table that my boyfriends daughter sat at. Very terrible.

It was a nice place, but the lady that did my nails was paying no attention to me what so ever, she was constantly talking to another coworker and on and off her cell phone. I asked for French tip, oval shaped. She gave me French tip, square shaped, after I asked 3 times for oval. So therefor the nails look good, but not the shape I want.... And she was also rude . So needless to say, if I do ever go back, I will not be going to her to get them done...

I usually get the star treatment when I go but it could have something with being a returning customer but its been that way from the beginning. They have gotten to know me and my children and always ask about them. Their very friendly, fast and Ive never had a problem they couldnt fix. I give them 5 stars and continue to go back for all my beauty needs. I feel like Im visiting a friends house while Im there and its not easy to find a nail salon like that...

Waited over an hour for a simple pedicure. I wasn’t told how long the wait would be. I ended up just getting up and walking out. The two Asian ladies kept saying it was because I didn’t make an appointment. There were only 3 clients ahead of me and they even had the audacity of talking about it in my face that I should’ve made an appointment. Never going there again worst place to get your nails did unless you want to wait a very long time just to be acknowledged

Worst experience yet! I came in for a full gel set. The lady doing my nails was on the phone entire time wasnt paying attention to my requests. My nail ended up looking thick and chunky. Three days later they began to lift something Ive never experienced with a gel set. Now Ive lost three nails and will never return to the salon and wouldnt recommend anyone waste time and money.

Poor service lady’s are disrespectful and I had asked for coffin and didn’t get what I asked for paying an additional charge of 5$ And rushing the girl doing my nails cut her self bleeding on my hand. Also my friend I had gone with had cuts on her fingers from a file and one started to bleed. I went back with my mother they rushed her to come get her eyebrows waxed before she can even sign in very mean . Loved the old workers don’t know what had happened to them.

Made an appointment for reg manicure so i could do during lunch before my vacation tommorow. Was rushed into a pedicure seat and tild them i made an appt for manicure. No chance to pick a color but theor colors were not current and reg polish was cakey not smooth. No cuticle gel used just soak in cold water. Employees were friendly, however, I am extremely disappointed in this place. I called the day before to ask about prices and they told me it would be $35 for gel tips. I go in the next day and ask for gel tips and instead they put acrylic ones on and charge me $40. Not to mention, they look absolutely horrible. My cuticles were not trimmed and Im going to have to get a fill within one week of having these on. Talk about a waste of money. I will never be returning.

Stick to the salons you know does a good job. I went in on a lunch break from school to get my real nails filled. I repeatedly told the nail tech the One tip he put on was on crooked. He never listened. The paint job was okay....not good. Needless to say I had to go and spend more money fixing his mistake. Never again will I return.

I had only an hour to get full set and was very pleased with the service and stuff being so responsive and professional. I recommened this place, but it can get crowed pretty quickly!

The nail tech was quick and hasty, clipped my skin and made me bleed. I asked to have a design on my toe, I left with no design after I watched the tech paint my toes with one coat of polish. When I ask her about it, she replied I did two times.... I watched her paint one time and then top coat....I thought she knew what she was doing at the time, so I didnt question it. I paid full price and was furious!!!!!!!!!!!! and left a $5 tip...I went home and painted my toes over and had to go somewhere else to get a design on my toes!!!! Really???

Workers are straight Trash . Don’t know how the business is still up and running. Unprofessional. Don’t take time to do work .
