Paola has been doing my hair for years and I’d follow her almost anywhere! She’s the best highlighter I’ve ever had. My hair looks natural, youthful and feels amazing. Dont waste your time booking with Angel Pesina. He will cancel your appointment your appointment last minute. Funny thing is, he told me he had to leave early for the day but yet he was still there cutting at my appointment time. In other words he decided to replace my appointment with someone else. Got an awesome fade from Kelly here - nice location, clean, easy to get to, chill vibe - Kelly did a great clipper fade on the sides and still used scissors in top, everything looks super clean and lined up, trimmed my beard as well - really happy with this cut. Prices are super reasonable too!

I was referred to Albert by a colleague of mine and man I cannot say how much of a blessing it has been to find such a professional, punctual, detail-oriented, and genuine barber. I live in Plano, so Modern Image is a bit of a drive but its worth every penny. All the other barbers/stylist at Modern Image are also very top tier. Nam and Bryan are my other go-tos in case Albert is away.Worth every penny

I started getting my hair cut at this great facility last year and I don’t think I can go anywhere else. This is the cleanest barber shop I’ve had the pleasure of patronizing. Albert is who I usually book with and let me tell you the man is a complete professional. 10 out of 10 would recommend this facility, 10 out of 10 would recommend Albert as your barber. This place also has a great environment, kind staff and sometimes they’ll have soccer games on the tv which is definitely a plus while getting my haircut.

So close to my home and a beautiful place. Very clean and everyone so professional. I took my almost 3 grandson to see Bryan for the first time this past Wednesday. Bryan was awesome with this wiggly little boy sitting on my lap. He was professional and did an amazing job. He was just as meticulous with him as he wouldve been with anyone else not moving all over the place. This will be my grandsons and maybe my new place for our hair care!

Just moved into town and booked an appointment with Angel because he listed “fades” as his expertise. He did a super clean fade exactly the way I asked for it: medium, tight to the skin at the top, and nice easy edge up. One of the smoothest fades I’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend! He even styled my hair better than I do!

Modern Image is a newly opened barber & stylist salon that opened in May 2020. First impression walking in, it is very clean and everyone was follow Covid social distancing guidelines. The stylist I had was Kim, and she is amazing!! And I don’t mean it lightly, I showed her a few example photos and she took the time into making sure my A-line bob was perfectly lined up and even on both sides. Even when my hair was parting in different directions during my hair cut. I appreciate her efforts, and highly recommend her for having your hair cut! I told her I was going to dye my hair the next day and so she made she not to put any products to make sure the dye will stick better. Kim is super considerate & sweet, thank you Kim!

Angel has been cutting my hair now for 6 months. I used to go to a different barber and I was happy with her, but one day she was over booked. So, I was driving back home and saw Modern Image I was like hell yeah just what I needed! It was a Friday. I was a bit nervous because it was new. However, Angel faded my hair with a hard part. I was like, wowwww! I was looking at a new me! No joke! After the first cut, I was SOLD for life.

I noticed maybe 1 or 2 staff out of the team greeting people at the door. I understand everyone is busy and focused on doing their jobs very well, but with a room (mostly) full of dudes, I would just be mindful that it can be slightly intimidating. Go above and beyond in making people feel welcomed. It makes a difference for us. 😁Overall my experience was impeccable. I always enjoy treating myself to a fresh cut by these guys. My barber is Steve. This dudes talent is fire! I’ve never had a bad cut when I sit in his chair. He’s always responsive and easy to get in touch with if you need a clean cut before an event or the weekend. Everyone in the shop is nice even if you’re not there client they still treat you like you are. The shop is always clean and up to date compared to some other old and ran down barbershops. I came and saw Joann to get keratin treatment done on my hair and let me tell you, it was a game changer for me !! I was helpless with dealing with curly, damp, boring hair and she recommended the treatment; it has been smooth sailing since! She took the time to get to know my needs and gave me samples to take home to try for my hair. She was also very patient with me, explaining different terminology in terms of hair treatment. All around great stylist, very knowledgeable, and I will be definitely going again to Joann for all my hair needs !!

I went through a lengthy process with my hair as I was going from dark brown with red under it to a beautiful bright blonde. Jo did amazing in my hair and was very patient with my process! With me having so much hair it took a good amount of time every visit but she was very professional and always showed that she loved being there. My hair went through little to no damage because of her patience and now I am able to have my favorite blonde again!!!

Heard abt my modern image from my brother who goes to the mesquite location. Loved his cut, so decided to give the garland location a try since its close to where I live. Made appt online with Angel. He was awesome. Def one of of the best cuts Ive had. I basically showed him a picture of what I wanted (taper fade with medium length on top)and he took care of the rest. He styled my hair afterwards as well. This will def be my spot from now on.

Brian has been cutting my hair for about 6 months and has become a reliable and trusted barber for me. My hair is very straight and thick, yet fine. It seems to grow straight out on the sides of my head - lets just say Ive had a few terrible cuts in my day. Brian takes his time, asks questions to make sure he understands, and puts up with paranoia. If you could see some of the cuts Ive had in the past youd understand. I highly recommend this place.
