Solid 5 stars. Got my 2015 subaru wrx walnut blasted, it seriously needed it, and it runs better than ever. These are seriously great and honest guys

These guys are truly awesome. Good character, extremely helpful and beyond dedicated. I experienced being treated like family. We weren’t able to afford having our engine repaired but William did not hesitate to seek out other options to keep us rolling by seeking connections for cheaper work to be done on our Civic Hybrid. It’s stressful enough being without wheels but when you have eyes and ears on the case by professionals, it takes a bit of a load off. If you were refered to SLA, thank the person who sent you them. They will work with you!

Theses guys know what they are doing. They treat you like a real customer that they want to EARN your business. They were very conscious of costs and provided me with options that were presented in a way that made me feel very comfortable. Each time I went in they immediately knew my name and treated me well. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone whos looking to not get ripped off by their local stealership. I called William immediately after getting a quote and an its urgent, get it done now warning from my local BMW dealership for my oil filter housing gasket. He had me in within 15 minutes, diagnosed the car within 10 minutes, and quoted me a price that was $300 lower than that of BMWs. The reason Im giving this place 5 stars is because William assured me that while this particular maintenance item was time sensitive to some degree, that it was not something that needed to be done immediately, especially considering that I will be leaving the car sitting for the next two months. 5 stars for their honesty, transparency, and low-pressure approach to vehicle maintenance. Will be back.

SL Auto Works just repaired a suspension issue I had with Control Arms on my 2017 Forester XT. The guys at SL work very hard for the satisfaction of their customers. I had to use a warranty company for this repair and SL took care of all of the grunt work with dealing with them and getting things covered properly and in a times manner. They worked hard at having my car repaired when promised and called frequently on updates and parts delivery expectations. For all of you Subaru owners who have warranty work that’s needed. I strongly suggest SL Auto Works instead of the dealership. You get treated like a family member not another problem walking through the door. They will shoot you straight from the beginning and make the difficult time the best it can be. This is a Veteran supported business and Veteran operated so that made me feel at home as a Veteran myself. I would recommend them for any performance work, scheduled maintenance, diagnostics or warranty work like myself. Stand up job guys and I Salute you all for the dedication, commitment and pride you all put into the business you all have built. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my Scoobie. Angela is actually writing this review. I have so much faith in these guys that I just cant write it all down. My BMW 528I was towed in to this shop. I thought that she was gone for good and that I would never be able to drive her again. Spirit, was going to have to be reprogrammed along with some other stuff. William called me told me what they could do, how much it would cost and he made it happen. They ran me a list of things as well that I need done over time and the cost has been reasonable. SL Auto works are beyond the best auto shop, I have ever dealt with! I have never dealt with a shop that is so honest and professional. I mean they customer service skills are excellent! I have brought my BMW 335i on two occasions and have been extremely satisfied with the work done at a great price. Very honest and trustworthy. The staff is straightforward with you and will even provide advice, which has saved me 2-300 dollars in labor fees by doing it myself (LED was out on my running lights, I ordered it for $165 on line and replaced it 20 minutes). Dealership quoted me $700 to order and replace it. I will always recommend anyone who I know owns a BWM to SL Autoworkers. Thank you for your help. I took my 2018 540 XI to BMW of little rock for a strange vibration OI was having in the car after I bought it used. BMW dealer wanted to put a $900 set of brakes on the car to Help Diagnose the issue. Took the car to SLA and they diagnosed it 15 minutes, bent wheel.... I have new wheels now and another appointment with SLA for brakes and oil change!! I will always take my BMW here for service hands down........

I called William on a Tuesday night for a repair I needed ASAP so I could sell my BMW. I dropped the car off at 6:30 Wednesday morning and it was fixed by 8:30 AM! Quality work with people you can trust.

I was unable to get to my car once the repairs were done. William suggested that he could come pick me up on Saturday, they are closed on Saturdays, and take me to get it. When we got there he noticed that someone else hadnt picked his car up either and began working to get that young mans car to him. These guys came recommended by a friend and I brought my WRX here to get some mods done and get the car tuned. Both Stuart and Will are fantastic. Anytime I had a question about anything Stuart did not have a problem answering.My car was done on time and Stuart and Will both stayed late after 5 until I got off of work to come get my Subie.Professionalism is on point here. Best service shop I have ever dealt with. Very professional and knowledgeable about the cars they service. Top notch customer service. They replaced the engine and turbos in my BMW 550i for half of what the dealership quoted.

Excellent service and price for my BMW X3 battery replacement. The battery cost was basically the same as the dealership, the significant difference was in labor cost. The labor to install at SL Automotive was 1/3 of the dealership labor price quote. This service experience could not have been better. I will never go back to the BMW dealership.

After finding SL Autoworks, I have taken my 2 BMWs (X5 and Z3) to them religiously. They always give me a clear idea on what is mandatory and what is elective. They identified a factory recall 1,000 miles before the extended warranty was up (BMW of LR saw the vehicle 2 months before and didn’t mention this potentiality) saving me several hundred $. Highly recommend.

Honest and knowledgeable. Took my Subaru Tribeca in for some diagnostics, quickly determined my problem and didnt even charge me the diagnostic fee. Great communication throughout the process which allowed me to make an informed decision about pros and cons of needed repairs. Highly recommend.

I have yet to be disappointed by the work performed at SLA. My latest repair happened today to replace a rear wheel bearing on my 2012 Outback. I was able to drop the car off in the wee hours of the morning before work via the key drop box, then pick it up the same day. I was updated when they diagnosed the problem, and updated again when the car was ready for me. And that’s not to mention that I always seem to save money as compared to dealership quotes. I’ll continue to use SLA as long as I own a Subaru.

Last month, we brought our Subaru Outback to SL Autoworks to be repaired. Stuart had been highly recommended to us from a friend. We were told that he did great work and was very honest. This is the exact experience that we had. Our vehicles issue was diagnosed quickly and repaired correctly. We also felt like the cost for the repairs was very reasonable. He kept us informed from the diagnosis to the final repair and went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied. We highly recommend SL Autoworks and will be using him again.

I found out about SLA from a business card left on a friends car. I have a 2015 Outback with 137k. i heard some strange noises one afternoon and took it to them the next day. They diagnosed some issues, but of course the noise did not replicate itself. They promptly fixed what they came across, took it out for a test drive and it finally made the same noise which lead them to the CVT transmission. They were fantastic, thorough and very customer oriented in dealing with getting it fixed. They communicated very well throughout the whole experience. I know that I will continue to go to them for all of my needs. William and Stuart are Awesome and I highly recommend them!

I own a very unique 1991 BMW 318is with a motor swap from a 2001 M3. I needed some in depth vanos work done that I was not equipped to do myself. I brought it to SL Autoworks on recommendation of a friend and was pleased to find that not only were they willing to do the work needed (not many shops are willing to take on a job like this) but they took a lot of interest in my project making me feel very comfortable and confident the work would be done professionally, timely and at a fair price. After getting the car back I can first hand say they do excellent, quality work! I will be coming to them for years to come with any of my BMW needs

Took my Subaru into Stuart for a few issues. He assessed my car first thing in the morning and called me with what he found. We came up with a game plan and he had all of the work done the following day. He even stayed an extra 30 min late so I could pick my car up. 5 Stars!! Took my 2015 Subaru Outback by SL Autoworks for a couple issues because I knew they worked on Subaru’s and they are around the corner from my job. I showed up without calling first or having an appointment. They told me their diagnostic price which was significantly lower than the dealership said they’d charge. They were able to get me in and out the same day..Adam even gave me a ride to work, so that I could leave it with them immediately.The place is super clean and professional. After diagnostic, they called and gave me a quote over the phone before moving forward with anything. Im not well versed in car mechanics, but they explained everything well and you could tell they were just honest. During pick up, I got a full report and when they gave me the invoice it was surprisingly less than what they had quoted me over the phone earlier. I don’t know why I’d ever take my car anywhere else.

Had my vehicle towed to their shop after hours with a broken belt and 2 broken pulleys and it was fixed by noon the next day. Good professional services and great guys. Definitely recommend SLA

I was extremely impressed with SLA Autoworks. The owner Stuart is intelligent, honest and fair. He diagnosed and fixed a problem the BMW dealership either couldn’t figure out or just didn’t take the time. Whether you work on your own vehicle and need some help or need a big project done I think this is the place to go. If you have a performance modified vehicle I definitely recommend this shop. Having the shop owner and staff take the time to work out the problem and talk it through was a refreshing personal touch.

Just got my car back from here. He went over everything installed and recommended purchasing additional parts for the future build of my car. I asked him about other services that I thought were needed but was advised against it at this time due to it not being necessary. Gave me a great price on the parts and installation. We took our outback to SL autoworks after another shop couldnt figure out what was wrong. Stuart fixed the problem and the stuff the other shop claimed to do, but didnt. SL autoworks has been a lifesaver and didnt drain my wallet. I have always wanted a BMW or Subaru WRX, but the cost of maintenance has worried me. Knowing that SLA is here has me thinking about that a dream WRX or BMW.

I took my wifes honda fit to Stuart to have the ac compressor and belt replaced. He worked with my schedule and replaced them. The ac works great and no longer makes noises. I highly recommend him and will be back.

Stuart and the guys there have always taken care of me whenever I drop my Subaru off to get worked out. Last trip there was a couple weeks ago for the front axles. They did a great job figuring out that they were beyond shot and didnt even know the wheel bearing had gone bad as well. They discovered some other minor issues that I hadnt noticed and did what they could to fix it. They did a great job keeping me up to date on progress and was prompt about letting me know it was ready. Fairly priced as well and worth the quick drive to the shop. Thanks fellas and look forward to having yall work on the foz again.

After factory engine rebuild and break-in, I scheduled an oil change with SLA and the experience was amazing. Stuart was very knowledgeable concerning my STI, he even showed me that my washer fluid bottle was leaking while checked my fluids and fixed it right on the spot. Keep up the great work!!!

Stuart is the guy to see if you need anything. I destroyed my clutch in one of my cars and was having trouble finding a replacement that would hold up to the abuse my OEM couldn’t. I messaged Stuart later than anyone should have and first thing I woke up to was a message saying he had just the part in mind. He placed the order for my new ACT Heavy Duty clutch within minutes of confirming it was the correct route. 3 business days later and I have a brand new clutch that I won’t have to worry about killing! Undoubtably the best service I’ve ever received from an automotive shop. Definitely going back to SL Autoworks for parts and guidance!
