One of the worst applications of gel polish Ive ever had. My lady was a complete sweetheart but did a horrible job with my manicure. I asked for square nails and all my nails were crooked to one side. I had to take the file and fix them myself the way I wanted, and my gel manicure came out horrible. I had polish stuck to the edges where the nail meets the skin and some edges of my nails were missing polish all together. The only reason Im giving any stars is because my pedicure came out nice.

The owners wife was very nice but she does not know how to do any full sets. The acrylic she laid did not cover my nails. My nails were shaped uneven and the acrylic that was laid ended up lifting while she was filing it and after all was done 2 hrs had done passed by because she was moving so slow. I just told her to stop and paid her $20 for the time but it was definitely a a big waste. Never again will I be going back or recommending them to anyone

Third time is a charm. I got it right this time. Marie is the best.I love this salon because it is relaxing! It is not cramped quarters. Air conditioning works. Doors are not propped open. Television has a nice channel of an aquarium or flowery meadows and best of all no sound. And it is incredibly clean and sanitary! I will always be a customer here!!!Thank you!

We were passing through Gainesville after a long road trip. I talked my husband into going for a pedicure with me. He went reluctantly and he loved it! They did such a great job with his rough calloused feet. And my guy spent 1 hour giving me a thorough relaxing pedicure. When we are in this area agin we will return. Oh and the pricing was great too!

WORST acrylic fill ever!! When using file, tech burned everyone of my nails. I should have walked out right then! Thinking the worst is over....not so. I asked for them to be shortened, charged extra. Not straight, not even, and not all filled down. Lumpy paint job. Went home, removed polish, filled correctly and applied my own polish. Will never return not refer a friend.

My mom and I have been searching for a nice nail salon, where the time is put in for the massage and the nails. Where it isnt rushed, and the environment is friendly. We came in as walk ins. We waited a little while, but after experiencing the professionalism, the time that Mrs. Maria and Ms. Judy took to please myself and my mom with their work was well wortj that wait! We were so happy, and the prices are fair and worth it! I got the dip nails and Mrs. Maria was a perfectionist with her work. I am so happy and would 100% recommend this salon!

The guy that did my pedicure was too rough and my toe started bleeding, my nails looked horrible and I felt uncomfortable the whole time. It’s a clean place and it’s very nice on the inside but do yourself a favor and don’t go to Allure. It has 2 stars for a reason.

Asked if we could get 2 pedicures at 6PM, they close at 7 there were two girls who were finishing up when we walked in so we thought it would take around 10 mins. We waited for 50 mins as my dad was sitting in freezing cold water that the lady argued with him was not cold and she couldn’t do anything to fix it. They were also trying to clean the whole place while we were sitting there still waiting for our pedicures to begin and I finally asked them when they could start the pedicure she got an attitude with me and said yeah in a minute. Extremely rude, extremely unprofessional, don’t waste your time or money. OKAY EDIT: halfway through my awful pedicure she told me that the card machine was not working that that we would need to go to the ATM and cash out. I told her to please stop and that we were just going to leave. Wow I wish I could give this place -5 stars!!!

Went there last week for dip powder nails while my car was at the shop around the corner. 1st, especially with all going on right now I was turned off that the lady didn’t wash her hands before starting as they have in other shops lately. She also wasn’t wearing her mask over her face. 2nd I paid $40 for my nails which is more than I have paid anywhere else for dip nails. She got the powder all over my skin, when she saw me picking at it she filed them until she cut me in 3 places with the nail file. They looked terrible when I was done. I pod and left feeling very ripped off. Before the end of the night 4 of the nails cracked and 1 fell off completely. I took them all off and went to a different place the next day and paid to have them all redone. I will absolutely never go back and never recommend this place to anyone.

A bunch of THIEVES. Charged me multiple times for my service despite it going through on my side. The people were rude, terrible customer service and made me wait for over 30 min for their boss to come. I will never go back there again & neither will anyone I ever meet.As a reply to the owner: I wish that I had made all of that up but I have the screenshots of you charging me & all of my friends multiple times. We were all so polite in the issue & stayed an hour after our service was over to wait for you to come fix the issue. Slander of your clients is never a good business practice FYI

If you are looking for a clean, well-kept nail spa with very kind and understating employees I would recommend Allure. The reason I give it 4 stars however is because the first time I went I had a negative experience. I asked for a dip manicure and the nail tech seemed almost annoyed with my request. Then when she was done, I was very much not happy with the results. The second time I went to Allure nails, the following Sunday I had an incredible experience. I had walked in with the expectation that the rest of the staff would follow in this techs mannerisms but I was very wrong. I stated that I had been in the spa the Thursday before and immediately the man at the front desk said Oh you are here for a repair, please sit here and I was instantly served. My tech, Marie, was very nice and did an incredible job on fixing my nails. She even refused a tip at the end, just asking that I request her the next time I was in. The staff on Sunday was very warm and inviting and made me feel like very comfortable in a situation that often leads to discomfort. I am incredibly grateful for this staff and experience. If it werent for my first nail tech, I would have give Allure Nail Spa 5 stars!

My nails were really messed up before I even left the salon. I asked my nail artist, Jimmy, to fix two different mistakes I noticed and the nail polish was so runny. They do not look good. After maybe five minutes of drying he touched my nails and said ok you’re good to go. Obviously not because they got smudged again and there’s probably six smudges now. My mistake for some of the smudges but they weren’t dry like he said they were. Will not be back and will tell my friends not to as well. Disappointed. My sisters nails were messed up too. $76 plus $10 tip down the drain.They made me pay before painting my nails too.. I wish we went somewhere else. No wonder they had open appointments.

Went to get manicures with two of my friends, and it was by far the worst experience ever...and weve had horrible nail salon experiences before. I got gel done on my hands by this one lady who was super sweet and did a good job...but my friends didnt have the same luck. They chose to go with acrylics and one of them couldnt even get through the whole appointment because the nail tech was hurting her so bad. He literally used NAIL CLIPPERS to remove her acrylics (as opposed to acetone thats used by any other competent nail tech), which RIPPED off her nails and left her bleeding. Like any other sane person, after experiencing that, she refused to get her new acrylics done there. But she still ended up having to pay $10 for this modern take on medieval torture. Not to mention, two women walked in demanding a re-do of their acrylic nails that they had previously gotten there because they looked that awful; peeling and broken. Whatever you do, do NOT get acrylics done here.

I went to Allure Nail Spa for the first time on a Sunday because it was one of the only salons that was open on a Sunday/later in the day on Sunday. I asked for a pedicure and a shellac manicure.My pedicure came out amazing— the nail tech was so detail oriented and you could just tell she priced herself in her work. So many times I’ve gone to salons where the nail techs are just trying to go as fast as possible to make more money/tips, but that was definitely not the case with the lady who did my pedicure (seriously loved her! she even gave me a little back massage when I was getting my manicure).Now, my manicure was a different story. The lady who did my hands clearly did not know what she was doing and did a horrible job. However, Allure Nail Spa earned their 5 stars because they did an excellent job in remedying the situation. I showed them my nails and explained to them that I was very dissatisfied. It was already after their closing time, and they offered to not charge me for my nails and told me I could come in the next day to have them fixed. I explained that I would prefer to pay for the service and for my nails to be done correctly at that time because I had to travel back to Jacksonville that night. The owner said that wouldn’t be a problem and had a nail tech who did a perfect job stay over an hour after they closed to redo my nails (they soaked off the shellac, and redid the shellac manicure, including cutting my cuticles because the lady who initially did the manicure failed to do that as well).So, all in all, I’m happy with the service at Allure Nail Spa. If a business is able to accept when they have done a service poorly and remedy the situation, they do not lose me as a customer.

By far the worst nail place ever I chose a color and the older guy told me oh u dont want that to expensive like if i didnt have money. And my nails look horrible not to mention I had to go to another mail salon to get them fix👎 I have them on star bcuz I have to but not even one star they deserve.

Everyone was nice and polite. My pedicure was on of the best I have had yet.

The worst nail experience Ive ever had. I asked for dip and the lady hastily globbed the dip on my nails and tried to fix it saying shed make them look pretty. When she was done, they still looked horrible and she tried to say it was because my nails were short. I told her I have had my nails done before this short and they never looked so bad. I had her take everything off, I cant believe she was going to let me pay for that and then let me walk out of there with those crazy looking nails. She took everything off but tore up the skin around my nails so badly and then had me soak my fingers in pure acetone. It was so painful!! Never going back again. Worst nail experience in my lif .

I’ve been coming to this place for about two months now and I must say I’ve never met anyone who cares as much about their business and work as much as Roger, the manager. My go-to technician is Tony and he always does a wonderful job on my acrylics with gel. I’m usually very picky about who does my nails but Tony is amazing and very detail-oriented. The ambiance is relaxing in this big salon, do yourself a favor and stop by :)

I went in to get my nails done & Jimmy did them & told me Ill do a beautiful job for you. I get my nails done medium length as I have for years, the paint job was awful. It was a simple colored tips & that same day they were already popping off. That Monday I went back to have them fix the ones that popped off & he did it again & tried telling me long nails will break & that it was my fault pretty much. He rushed through it so fast & again they looked terrible & once again were all popping off. I appreciate him fixing them for free, but the whole thing was a bad experience, they were all rude & it was the worst acrylic nails Ive ever had! Will not be going back or recommend!!

My nails were absolutely horrible. The guy that did my acrylic, cut three of nails and left them bleeding underneath the acrylic. I had to take them off myself a week later.

While the staff were nice and answered all my questions, my experience here was not the best. I asked for a regular manicure and the tech missed several spots on the sides of my nails with the polish. She also filed them down poorly so they were rough and uneven. The friend that accompanied me went with a pedicure and left with a splotchy paint job and her feet were splattered with polish. All in all I left feeling rather disappointed in what was supposed to be a fun treat-yourself day.

Henna was awesome. I will be back the prices where just right.. I had a pedicure and gel nails....I wish I could give them a ten...fyi. everything was very clean and I love the idea of no drills....

You will find a sparkling clean spa, peaceful music, friendly staff and complimentary refreshments but what is most impressive is the quality of the work and time spent to perfect the results. Jenny is absolutely amazing! 💅🏼

Excellent place with outstanding customer service. Service by Marie was great. She removed several ingrown toenails, with little to no pain, in both feet that I didnt even know I had. This is my 3rd time coming here and I will now be coming regularly. Very satisfied. 👍🏾😊

Best pedicure and facial. Cathy was my technician and she did an amazing job on both my service. Atmosphere is so relaxing, just what I needed after traveling to Gainesville.

My daughter and I came in no one inside 2 techs we waited over 35 minutes ! Marie is terrible she got the gel all over my skin ! And the other tech was no good either got glue all over my daughters skin as well ! Ronald receptionist was very kind proably the only good thing about this place !

Jackie did an amazing job. He was very professional (meaning he wasnt talking to his co workers while he was working on my feet ) and he was gentle. The staff was nice and it is a plus that they are clean and they use the plastic covers over the foot bath bowl to insure its sanitary. I cant complain. Just make sure to make an appointment because they are busy.

The salon itself is very pretty, and I cannot comment on their other services, but I would not recommend getting nails done here. My set was uneven, different shaped tips, has acrylic spill over, and the Polish was not applied well.I got them done yesterday and they are already lifting. Already scheduled to take them off. Lesson learned.Edit to owner:The client you are referring to was not me. I did point out the mistakes and they were not fixed.If youre offering a luxury service, clients shouldnt have to catch every mistake as nail techs should be trained properly and provide quality service, bottom line.

Please save yourself and DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go here. The older woman botched my nails and didn’t care. I had to go to Cosmo nails down the street to have them fix me up. I highly don’t recommend this place, not even to my worst enemy. Please people don’t waste your money.

When I asked for a fill on my acrylic nails I didn’t think I’d be so shocked at what this place did. I don’t like wasting my money on a service that is sub par. I have NEVER walked out on anything because I believe in giving people a chance. However, my experience was awful. I asked the nail tech to cut my nails down as far as they can go, she didn’t. The fill job was awful, she got four nails in and I asked her to please fill in the rest of the nails she had already done. When she failed to do that and 30 pain stealing minutes later, I asked if I could pay for the service already preformed and walked out. She also took the electric file to my fingers on every single one. I would not recommend anyone going here.

The worst nails weve ever had. The day before the first day of High School we go and get my daughters nails done. It was so horrible. I cannot even describe how bad they looked. They were lumpy and the nail polish was so bad. Paint everywhere all over her fingers. We just couldnt even believe how bad they were. Panicked as it was Sunday at 5pm and didnt know how we would get them fixed. Luckily we found another nail salon who was able to rescue my daughter. This is completely unacceptable and they know they do a terrible job and they keep doing this to customers.

This is the worst nail salon I’ve ever been too. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and never break a nail and this set broke within a couple of days, also my acrylics were uneven with a bad paint job. When I went back in to get them fixed they rudely told me to leave and come back later. Don’t go to this nail salon it’s a waste of money. If I could give it zero star rating I would.

I came in and I was the only person here. The only reason I came because I seen the reviews and I thought it would be great. Worst nail experience ever. They act like they didn’t know what I wanted and also act like they weren’t interested in me at all as far as my service. I was looking for somewhere to take my Mom to get her nails done, saw this place and thought why not try them. As I was waiting I decided to get mine done as well, after looking at what seemed like a thousand colors I changed 3 times, I was talking with the nail tech John then decided to go with dipped. I will definitely be going back for them to get my nails done. Next trip to Gainesville (65 miles) on 10/24/18, I’ll be getting pedicure as well.

Jacky did mine and my mothers nails today. We are so happy with the results. He was very gentle and took the time to inspect each nail. They turned out beautiful.

Beautiful nail spa. I got the basic pedicure. Its very clean and peaceful. The technicians were very nice and the massage chairs were heavenly.

The lady who did my nails, who I think was the owner was rude as hell to me. I wanted coffin shaped nails and she had no idea what that was, but didnt tell me that - I had to stop her and explain it. She ran the grinder over my skin in several places and tried to deny doing it until I pointed to the raw spots she created. She was the only one working that day - NO staff, but she kept accepting clients, and then calling people to come in, but no one would. It wasnt until I got home that I realized how much acrylic was hanging over the sides of my nails unfiled. I had to file it all away on every finger and shape them myself. I chose a polish that she decided she didnt like and she said she knew better what I wanted. I didnt like her choice, and she wouldnt use anything else. I should have walked out at the start of it. I will never go back.In response telling me that my account was inaccurate, my name is Erin McConnell, and it was the owner who worked on my nails. I can assure you that the owner was the only one there, because the place was empty of technicians, and the owner as well as the desk clerk made several calls to get people to come in and work. My account is not wrong. Just read some of the other experiences people have had that are the same as my own experience. Saying it didnt happen doesnt erase the situation. The raw spots on my fingers tell the actual story. Get a staff who knows what theyre doing, because you do not.

When I arrived it wasn’t that busy and no one came up to greet me for ten minutes. Finally a man came up and told me that it would be 15 min. It ended up taking more like an hour. People around me waiting were leaving but I didn’t have time to find a new place. Ended up getting a pedicure. It was okay but when they went to polish the lady ended up taking more time getting the polish she got all over my feet off than it took to do the rest of the pedicure. And she didn’t get it all off. They look like garbage. Never coming back. Usually I would cut some slack if it was busy or they cared but everyone around me was having miserable experiences.

I’ve never had acrylics look this bad and it was only a fill! Kept pointing out things for her to fix and just finally gave up!! 2 thumbs down!!

****BEWARE!!!*** My wife went here for a pedicure and a full set, as I waited in the car. She came out almost completely in tears. Her nails were only half done and looked horrible, the polish on her toes was done very poorly. She said she told them she wasn’t happy and just wanted to leave. They grabbed her by the wrist and wouldn’t let her walk out the door without paying. So I went back in and while I admit I was very blunt and direct, I told the lady she wasn’t happy and they did a crappy job so I wanted my money back. The lady was extremely rude and essentially told me they don’t work for free. I told her I don’t agree with paying for something that is done poorly and not to my satisfaction. She continued to go on about how they don’t work for free. The only one who spoke good English and actually seemed to have it together was a tech named Johnny. Finally they agreed to soak off everything and said to come back tomorrow and see Rodger (the manager or something) about a refund. Absolutely absolutely ABSOLUTELY!!! Do NOT in any way, shape, or form find yourself reaching for the door handle to this business thinking you’ll have a different experience. We read some bad reviews and thought it would be fine. We couldn’t have been more wrong!!P.s. If I could give them -stars I would.

Took her 45 minutes to get my nails off. Only softened the tops. Did not shape like i asked or filed the tips. Don’t go here if you are wanting to get done in a timely manner.Also, the female who sits behind the main counter was not wearing feet and it smelled at her desk. And it’s like they don’t understand any English.

Came here 2 days ago to get a pedicure. The lady did a terrible job, not to mention she got nail polish all over my shoe. I have never had nail polish chip off so fast, my toes already look terrible. Will not be back.

This salon had a very friendly man working at the front desk and it was nicer than other salons in town. One odd thing was that the woman that gave me a pedicure had swatted my hand when i tried to show her the spot that was left unpainted. She corrected it and painted over it. That same nail, though, was cut unevenly (one side cut deeper into the nailbed). Other than that, the service was quick and she was friendly, which i appreciated.

Despite some of the bad reviews, I decided to try this salon while in Gainesville, as I was in desperate need of a pedi. I was not disappointed. I walked in on a Sunday around 1 o’clock. Much to my delight, there was no waiting. The Salon’s pedi bowls were lined in plastic, and the technician used clean tools from a sealed bag. They offered both gel and regular polish. Although my technician spoke very broken English, she tried her best to engage me in conversation. Overall, I was very pleased with the service, cleanliness and price. ($45 for gel polish pedi). I would definitely recommend this salon for basic pedi.

I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails. I was very pleased with the service I got. The Male nail tech was very patient when I couldnt figure out what color I wanted, he listened to exactly how I wanted my nails, down to the shape, size and thinness. I am very pleased with this nail salon. There are many here in town that I have been too, and I have not been to satisfied with many of them.

I walked in on whim at around 11am since I needed a pedicure and hey, why not try someplace different? So I walked in and I was immediately sat down for my pedicure. The nail tech was a very sweet and kind woman named Lan and she took her time. It was a good pedicure! What I appreciated the most was that she took her time and didnt rush, which is what I experience at most places. That was the biggest factor for me in my 5 star rating. Even with the paraffin wax, she made sure she got every stray piece off of my legs/feet. Thats attention to detail and dedication to the client, not just needing to flip a chair. I highly recommend Lan for any nail services and you should ask for her if you decide to visit!I think my only complaint is the video noise from employee phones that was louder than the ambient music deterred from my experience. However, it wasnt busy when I went in and it wasnt a big deal so I didnt consider it to be worthy of losing a star.I would definitely visit here again when Im in the neighborhood and get the urge to treat myself!

Extremely terrible dip set for $40! My nails are extremely lumpy and powder is well above my cuticles. Unacceptable. I told the lady that I was not pleased and that my nails were lumpy and she turned around and swiped my card. She had no intentions of fixing it or even looking at my concern.Don’t waste your time or money! Now to get these removed ASAP.

Please don’t go here!!! The staff is so disrespectful and rude. Marie did my nails and I’m honestly convinced she has no license. In addition to her being the rudest person I’ve ever met, My nails looked so horrible I had to have her stop halfway through. She started screaming at me and cut my nails off with office scissors!!!! After my nails were paper thin and bleeding (my nails were nice before I came here...) she still tried to make me pay! Are you kidding me?? I left that place crying! I’m begging anyone who checks these reviews to please not go here. A week later & my nails have still not recovered.

My friends and I went to get our nails done here, and it was horrible. The pedicure process was fine, but when the woman started painting my nails, she was very rough and got polish all over my toes. As well, my friend got french tip and the polish was lumpy and had several brush hairs stuck in it. She politely asked to get it taken off because she was unhappy with the way it looked. She said she would pay for it and didn’t ask for a refund or anything else. The woman then proceeded to get angry with her and tell her to just “keep the polish on through the holidays” when she repeatedly asked to just have it removed. She then roughly took the polish off, and continued to rudely berate my friend about why she wanted to the polish taken off.

After an hour wait no technician was experienced enough to do acrylic pointed nails. I blame my wasted time on the inexperienced white man who cannot identity the style of nails described to him. Incompetent.I called in advance and wait time was 5X longer than promised. Definitely do not recommend this place to anyone.

I happen t drop in cause I couldnt get to my regular nail salon the staff are needs to be retrained the way my full set looks when I left there my three-year-old could have done it no filing uneven could not even lay the acrylic and even after I specifically stated and shows several times its still not could not be done very beautiful location but the staff definitely needs more training and to go back to school for their nails when a person is spending that kind of money because it was a little pricey as well if I could post pictures of my full set I would just to get some comments and on the card there was an email address I called and emailed after I left almost two weeks later still nothing from no one

Walked in and was sat and worked on immediately. I loved how the place looks. It is very aesthetically pleasing, clean, and tidy. The massage chairs were wonderful! Hit all the right spots and it was very comfortable. Marie was my technician. She was very nice and pleasant. She gave me an awesome massage! The polish on my toes came out great. Evenly painted and no excess polish left on my skin. I would recommend giving this place a try and see if it will turn into your new mani/pedi spot :)

Worse experience and service ever. Toenails were butchered. Polish looks like a blind lady did it. I told her it was thick and would bubble. She said it was fine. When I called to complain, she hung up on me. When I called back, to ask if she had, she said she was busy and supervisor wasn’t there. If this is the way they run their business, it’s easy to see why it was empty. I’ll never be back. Zero stars. First time I have ever not tipped someone. Horrible!!! You’ve been warned reader. 😏

I got a mani, pedi, and an eyebrow wax today around when they opened. It wasn’t very busy at all which was a plus. The staff was very respectful and even offered drinks. The actual polish job wasn’t perfect, but it seems that they’re more focused on the experience rather than the outcome. The pedicure was very well done and the massage chairs there were amazing. Everything was alright up until the eyebrow wax. I ended up with wax all over my face. It was down my neck, in my eyes, all done the sides of my face, on my shirt, and in my hair. I didn’t realize until I put my glasses on and wasn’t able to get them off. I got it done by Marie. I’m hoping she was just in a hurry and didn’t really notice, but if this is normal, that’s not okay. My mom got hers done by Johnny and they turned out really great.

I made an appointment for three pedicures. They were short staffed with only two techs & didn’t bother to say that on the phone. It wasn’t the best service in the world. As people came in the tech working on me changed my pedicure type without telling me. When I asked why she was skipping steps of the pedicure she responded, I don’t have enough time. I understand being understaffed, but you can be understaffed and still give quality service. I definitely wouldn’t recommend Allure. There are plenty of places to go in Gainseville to get your nails done, with way nicer workers.

I got charged 5 extra dollars because the tech cut the nails too short for coffin so I told him nevermind and he didn’t tell me it would be more just to take off the fake nail when he hadn’t even started the acrylic yet, so mine was $48 and my friends was $43 when we got the exact same thing, then got charged $92 when 43+48 only equals $91. So was charged an extra $1 for what? Not a good first experience

My daughter and I went here on a whim and we wont do it again. First of all we both had our cuticles cut up by the techs who file more than anything else. I asked for acrylics and we both ended up with dip nails which are awful. They are misshaped, the color on the pink and white is not even recognizable. Jacky is nice and works fast but the work is subpar at best for 90$.. the sad part is I actually tipped them because that is how my parents raised me.The tattooed girl at the front sat discussing her pay with her client and even said she goes elsewhere to get her nails done. If you are smart do not go here just drive down the road and throw it out the window instead.Awful experience.. waste of money that I now have to pay someone else to fix.Called them to complain and Roger said Im sorry it wasnt pleasurable what is it youre wanting. I said Id like the manager to call me and I would like a refund. He said the owner is a hands off owner and will not call back because he is in Atlanta. So basically the owner doesnt care which is why the staff doesnt care. Too add too this he said he would see what he could do and has yet to even call back.Ridiculous and I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!!!Response to the owner:You in fact did not check us out the lady who doesnt speak English did.We picked acrylic powder not dip powder acrylic is used with a brush. I did complain to the lady who out on my nails as she burned me with the machine and i yanked my hand away. My daughter did tell her she wanted shorter nails she told her she would shorten them and did not. If you have nothing to hide why wont you provide the owners information so I can complain about how rude you treated a customer who called and was even polite when I said there was an issue.

Unfortunately I had a lady who happened to be older. Honestly she did a subpar job doing my nails, like not cleaning the sides good enough, not putting enough coats on, not painting the sides of some of my nails, and not filing my nails evenly. I don’t know if it’s because she is older and she is over her job or if her hand-eye coordination is gone. I had to finish filing my own nails so I won’t feel miserable when I leave. Every-time I suggested for her to fix something she spoke in Vietnamese- I’m 100% sure everything she said was about me. It’s very unfortunate, last time I came here I had a younger woman I believe her name was Tam but that woman was excellent. For the prices this place charges- all the nail techs should be excellent. I was not given any discount by the gentleman who works in the front who I like and talked with last time. Not sure if he was able to give me a discount but it definitely would have been a courtesy. I paid $40 and of course no tip because I was not satisfied at all. I will never come back :-(. Also I did not know the rating was so low at 3.2 here on google because I was a walk in. If I would have seen there rating and read these reviews beforehand I would have probably never come in to begin with. It was also empty on a Saturday, so that tells you everything. I have learned my lesson. This place may need to close soon. I know if this place was American owned and they were doing nails this bad it would have been got shut down. So whats the hold up? I am surprised Gainesville folks still come here after reading these reviews! Wow.Update:They owner, or man that sits in the front, never was quite sure if he was the owner but he wrote me back below NEVER taking any responsibility on the nail salons part and instead berating me and telling white lies(twisting my words) in the process. NOT ALL THE WAY SURPRISED though this is the new American norm in our country when people are not satisfied with a purchase or service-to blame the customer instead. Not a professional move for any business owner seeking to recruit new customers and stay in business. Furthermore, sadly showing the demise in the ethics, morality and professionalism of many businesses in America today. The only thing he was correct about was that yes I did bring my food in but no one ever told me I couldnt. If you are a boss and you run a business then you make the rules and I abide by rules, but if no rules are given there is nothing to abide by. I would have eaten my food first and got my service performed after if he would have expressed this to me, but he did not. Instead he chose to make a issue out as a get back at you response on google because yes I told him upfront that I will write a review, in which he told me he understood and apologized in person for the poor job the woman did(but never offered a discount). The reputation of this business-which from the rating and reviews on not only google but Yelp as well along with the piss-poor response written to me reflects their direct lack of care for the people that spend their hard earned money getting an extra circular activity performed like getting their nails done. The response below from this gentlemen reflects why their are many 1 star reviews with PICTURES of shotty nails on here that he never even responded to. From the looks of these reviews this gentlemen has clearly let paying customers walk out of his shop unhappy, and leave a review for his shop, to which he never responded back to many of them (the bad reviews, of course not the good reviews), but somehow found time to respond back to me. Business conducted in this manner always has an end nearing soon. BUYER BEWARE!

I arrive at 6:30 to do a simple refill and they made me choose a color, wait in the lobby and after seating me and asking me what I wanted they told me to come back tomorrow.HORRIBlE customer service you don’t make a customer pick a color if your not going to take care of them! If you do NOT want to take customers after 6:30 and close a 7 you better close your doors at 6...

There isn’t a zero star option but I wouldn’t have gone had I looked at reviews in advance. number one they were very understaffed we waited almost thirty minutes and the lady that was there was extremely rude to me, my daughter and the other workers . the nails didn’t even look worth the wait. Very uneven and lumpy and ready to fall off. the main lady there seemed as if she’d rather be anywhere else and she was working on my nails like she just wanted to get it over with. the only thing I honestly liked was the massage chairs I do not recommend anyone going there. Horrible experience. The elderly man was nice and helpful but seemed nervous with the main lady Lien being rude to everyone. Do not recommend this place

Ive tried a few other places in town and have received terrible service. I went to Allure today with my mother-in-law and had a very pleasant experience. My nail tech, Tony, was very patient as I needed my previous acrylics removed to put on the new ones. Im very picky about the shape and Tony sculpted them to perfection. Will definitely be coming back!Edit: Second trip was not as good. The nail tech argued with me about the shape I wanted and continued to tell me it was ugly. He then proceeded to cut every finger on both of my hands, which left them sore for several days. I think this salon is a hit or miss depending on who you get and what you are wanting.

No gel colors to choose from, the ones they had where all over the place! The guy that was going to do my nails was rude and kept rushing me to hurry and pick my color! I told him I’m trying but the selection for gel was poor! I finally grabbed 2 colors and the one I really wanted he said he didn’t know where it was! Smh! I had 2 broke nails and understand they charge to fix them, didn’t know they charge you to shape up your nails for a fill in. So I go from a $36 fill in to $51 later. Needless to say with his rude attitude and charging for everything I left! I’ll wait until I go back to Va.

They were busy but took me as a walk-in right away which was appreciated. The guy bumped every finger with the grinder and my cuticles were sore for days which was worrisome because of the risk of an infection.

I went to allure nails today and got a full set and and a pedicure my tech was super nice but my full set looks horrible the tech Marie did gel on my nails every design I asked her to do she told me she did not no how to do the gel polish is see threw and all on my skin the acrylic is hanging over connecting to my skin and my nails look huge and lumpy and uneven she acted like she was in such a hurry to get it over with that every thing I suggested her to do she didn’t want to and wen I said something about my nails being lumpy she told me that it was because we were talking and she forget to tell me how to put my nails under the uv light the right way and they didnt dry right and told she was sorry and would do better next time the nails are uneven and see threw and lumpy and I paid 50 dollars for them please don’t ever go there horrible job.......and I asked her 4 different times to fix it and she would do a little poke and picking so I said screw it and kinda just dealt with it

They had only 3 people working and allowed some one who walked in to complain go in front of me. I should have known then just to leave but I stayed I waited 45mins to an hour. So finally the lady Kim comes back from break she is rushing me she was rough with my fingers two of my cuticles started to bleed from her little drill thing. At one point I said that hurts. Now shes doing them and they dont look so good at this point my mom comes with my son and they are waiting for me now to get finished its going on 2hours and we were mid way through. So, we pick the color we change it and the polish job is awful the cuticle area is bad and it looks old. I have to leave and I tell the man he tells me to come back tomorrow. I do they see me as soon as I come in the guy Tahn was very nice but my nails were uneven (the thumbs,pointers, and middle fingers were different lengths) so he had to file my short nails until they became stubs I said I dont like them and the so they talked to the lady and she procceded to tell me thats what I asked for.No, I asked for short not stubs . My pointer finger on my right hand was acrylic was the same size as my regular nail and the lady wasnt going to fix it so the man Tahn looks at me and waited till she walked off fixed that nail. He started to paint them but they were too short and looked ugly I said could I pay a little so I could get them fixed right and they told me I had to pay full price. So full price when I already paid you to mess up my nails???? I would have been happy to have them done right the first time and not had to come back but to pay for someones mistakes im sorry I just cant. I wasnt asking for them to do anything spectacular or do it comeplely free .Just some regular acrylic nails. I ended up walking out nails unfinished because they were just rude and made me feel like it was my fault my nails were messed up . I really tried to allow them the benefit of the doubt but I would advise you not to waste your time or money on them because there service was trash.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! As soon as I walked in, the lady at the front was so rude. She was rushing me to pick a color as if there were people waiting to get their nails done, the place was empty! I picked a color sat down and Lan began the pedicure. She was the sweetest person ever, she did a pretty good job. But Marie started doing my manicure and it was the worst experience ever. While she was doing my nails, she started having a conversation with me and literally told me that I need to lose weight and stopping eating. I was speechless. Who says this to a customer?!?!? It’s not like she was thin herself, she had a belly too. She was an older lady so I decided to ignore her and respect my elders but she was persistent on telling me that I’m fat. She was too busy giving me advice on how to be skinny that she did such a terrible job! She even cut me and made me bleed. She tried to blame me saying I have too much cuticle, that’s why she cut me. That’s really stupid to say that. The cut was so bad, it was bleeding a lot and still hurts a day after. When the mani-pedi was over, I paid and left because I was on a tight schedule and honestly did not want to be there anymore. I really should have just walked out because none of this was worth $40!!

Terrible experience! I would not reccomend anyone going here!! I wanted just a dip manicure and she cut me about 7 times and I kept telling her. She stated she was cleaning my cuticles. But that is NOT how you do it! I left bleeding and all she said was itll heal. Not relaxing and I left upset!

My sister in law and i were looking for somewhere to get our nails done...so we tried Allure nail spa. This is the Worst SNS i have ever had!

They deserve no stars for poor customer service. I called ahead because I wanted to get a pedicure with my daughter on our mother daughter date. The lady asked how old is your daughter I said 11 she told me on the phone $20 for a child and $25 for an adult. When we arrived the guy asked us to go pick our our polish and they would be with us. This lady was doing someones nails. She stopped and said maam did you just call for you and your daughter a pedicure? I said yes She said Well maam shes too big, she looks like an adult like you, so Im going to charge you $25 cause shes not small like normal 11 year olds. Im pissed at this point keeping my composure I said well thats fine well go else where. My daughter who really is 11 years old and is bigger than most 11 year old was indeed embarrass and upset, as well as I. Your age doesnt defind who you are or how you look this is discrimination and lack of knowledge at its finest.

Never have I been to a salon that I literally had to have the tech fix my nails 3 times to even like them a little and never have I had a tech make me bleed. Marie was terrible.

My regular nail people were booked so I tried Allure. I believe they try but they are just not near as thorough as my regular nail guy. I felt they just go through the motions and do not get down to the nitty gritty. I asked how much a mani and pedi is since most places does this for 35. I was told 36. Then when it was time to pay the lady handed me a slip that said 40 and said 36 is not for the weekend. It was Saturday and she had just told me 36. The foot and leg massage is very limited compared to my regular place or any other place I have been. The polish on my toes is messy. The competition is high among nail salons and my regular guy has earned my business by giving a quality pedicure every time and this place falls very short from delivering quality work. Like I said, they go thru the motions. There was a guy there and he did a much better job on another person than the lady did on me. I might have a different review if I had him. My lady talked too much, was too bossy and worried more about what was going on at the front desk.

Poor service and the techs are not very good. I had the man first gentleman on left when you walk. I will never go back there.

Took my girlfriend to get nails done and they were not very understanding she felt very rushed by the technicians and her nails were very brittle afterwards one nail split and a few of her cuticles were bleeding. I felt bad for her that her experience wasnt the best so i decided to share it with you because she wouldnt.
