I got lost and the sweet staff stayed on the phone with me for 15 minutes until I found the building. It was a pleasure to be serviced by Linda. Such a darling. Love going to get my nails and feet done. Robin has been doing my nails for a very long time. Robin does a great job. All of the Nail Techs are very professional and friendly. Enjoy going.

I went here at 6:20pm and they close at 7pm to get a pedicure. There was one lady on her phone when I came in. She told me they were closing soon. A pedicure takes 20-30 minutes and there was no one else in there. I was very disappointed considering the 4-star rating they currently have. I do not recommend coming here.

Terrible. I usually do not write reviews but my experience was horrible. I went for an acrylic fill and regular paint. My skin was cut multiple times even leaving some scabs. There were bubbles in my nail polish and when he had trouble fixing them he got frustrated. I can’t believe I paid money to be out through pain and results that are worse than if I had painted them myself. I expected so much better than the hostility I was met with as well.

I got my nails done today by Linda / acrylic fill, new shape and color / ! I like the shape and I’d absolutely recommend! The atmosphere is not luxurious at all, but I’m not there for this, my nails look fantastic! Great prices, she took her time to make it thin and nice! Awesome experience! Love my nails!! Ive been to several places and havent been satisfied at all. I went in for a fill...I had a bit of a mess from previous salon. They spent time to make sure I was happy and I havent had a better set of nails. I will be a loyal customer!! ❤

Worst manicure Ive ever had, and it was supposed to be for my wedding.... I asked for a French manicure, and when I asked the technician about all the bubbles I was told well no one looks at them that closely. After reading their other reviews here I was hugely disappointed, had her skip doing my toes. The manicure never even dried 30 minutes later after I left which wasntA huge loss at that point because I was luckily able to beg another salon to fix my nails the next morning. To note, my visit was on December 1, 2017. When I was speaking to a friend about the review I noticed my original review hadnt gone through for some reason.

Ashleigh was amazing! She was so sweet and made sure I was always comfortable, and she did an amazing job with my acrylic nails. She didnt just rush through it and she made sure that they looked exactly how I wanted them to. I will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone in Gainesville!

The young lady that did nails did a wonderful job, its been a week and they still look like I just got them done. I truly recommend this place. I will go there again.

The only nail tech I wanted to use was not accepting new clients...I tried a different tech three times...Im never going back. The shop needs some cleaning up too. And by cleaning up, I mean its old and outdated. New chairs, do something to make it better.

Gator Nails is the only place where I get my nails done. Sandy is so responsive to preferences on how much cuticle to cut, the shape of the nails and anything else you ask for. She is also great people, so the experience is very enjoyable.I mainly do my nails at home. But when I want to have a nice, pampering pedicure at a great price, I always go to Sandy at Gator Nails.

Place is clean, people are nice, and they have a loyal clientele that have gone there for a years. The gentle touch and expert application of just the right color and style. Wonderful place.

I have been a customer of Sandy Washburn since 2000, I was given a gift certificate for Christmas 1999, I went for a manicure but got a full set of acrylic nails because all my nails had broken. Ive never been able to have my own nails, they are soft and shred. I go every 2 weeks and now do pink and whites with clear Polish. I wear a natural short length, I am constantly getting compliments on my nails. They offer other services as well. Its best to have an appointment. Robin, Ashley, and Cindy are other nail techs too.

Ive been going here for eyebrows for a few months now. Sandy is really good at her job. I went in the first time with uneven eyebrows, one of which barely even existed. Sandy fixed it pretty fast and has been doing them nicely since. Shes very kind and tries hard to work you into her schedule (which is sometimes hard since shes the only waxer right now). Still, even though shes very busy she takes her time with waxing to make sure she gets the details every single time. Shes great to talk to and cares about her clients. I cant speak for the nails at the salon but I trust Sandy completely with my eyebrows.

Experienced techs in a super clean environment. Has been going there regularly for 20 years. Will never go anywhere else.

By far worst nail experience ever! I dont typically write reviews because I always leave room for improvement if there was an issue... but for this one I had to! First, they injured me with clipping my nails too deep and it ended up hurting my cuticles.😢😭 Second, they charge me extra for clipping/filing my nail before the nail polish was painted. The nail polish was painted sloppy and messy. All in all, my experience was horrible! I ended up paying for them to hurt my nails .. it was so bad I had to walk out without getting my nails painted. Please go somewhere else where the service is done in a professional and safe environment! (This place deserves ZERO stars!!)

The Nail Tech was beyond sweet and I would love to give five stars but my acrylics have ripples in them it took two hours they arent really what iIasked for and the edtes are jagged and rough 🙃

Would not recommend or return. I went to gator nails for a manicure and pedicure. The room I was in was filled with random junk and nothing looked clean. None of the tools she used were clean. She just took them off her filthy stand and wiped them off with a paper towel. Polish was just in a giant cardboard box on the floor. She started by pushing back my cuticles but then didnt cut them off. Then she unevenly shaped them with a file and then didnt removed the frayed edges. Never cleaned my hands or under the nails or anything. Just painted clear polish over the freshly filed nails. The pedicure chair was again dirty. She globbed so much paint on my toe nails that she spent 20 mins after trying to clean them up with acetone and a paintbrush. instead of making them look better the polish just spread all my toes are just red all around the nail.By far the worst pedicure Ive ever received. I ended up just removing the polish and repainting them myself.
