Ive come in before roughly about 2 years back and was not impressed. HOWEVER, that has completely changed. The current staff and store manager Richard are AMAZING. I brought my partners Kia in for him as he couldnt make it. The gentleman who checked me in was very polite and through of making sure what needed to be done. Then Richard was very through in explaining what they found wrong and taking the time to go through everything with me and helping me make an educated choice on what could wait and what needed to be done for safety reasons. Very personable staff and very patient. Would recommend and will be coming back.
I waited longer than I should to get new tires, I pulled in and asked for same day ASAP service. They were extremely busy but said they could get me in. The manager Mike was so very pleasant and absolutely accommodating. I got four new tires, an alignment, and an oil change within two hours and for a more than reasonable price. Thank you for your service today. I would highly recommend.
Totally Awesome!!! I was in Gainesville from St. Augustine to do a small job. Had some car trouble. When I explained my situation to the service manger on duty, even though he was very short staffed he agreed to help me. He went out of his way to inspect my car and assured me I could make it back to St. Augustine safely. He didnt charge me anything. Excellent customer service and true caring about the customers and there situations. Excellent job!!!
I will definitely go back here for all my tire needs! Top notch!
Have to get tires balanced again after getting new tires that included balancing. Shakes at highway speed. I will have it done elsewhere as they lost my trust and business.
Great fast service. Great staff. I highly recommend this shop.
Took 4 hours for an oil change even though I had a reservation. The guy there said after the fact that they had been running behind 3-4 hours and that they dont have enough people to take care of all the cars. Would have been nice to know before dropping off my car since they said it would take 1-2 hours when I arrived.
Even though they can be overwhelmed at times with the abundance of cars, customers, and phone calls coming in customer service is up to part. They work fast and efficient.
Same day appt. in and out great rebate!
The worst customer service. They use our car and ran the car with high speed we can see how they drove the car.. We contact them and they did not even apologize. They said they cannot not do anything. They did not pass information if we call they do not have information. It was the worst customer service. They dont care about your car or anything.
EXCEPTIONAL service and experience!!! I highly recommend this location. My family and I got stuck on I-75 with a flat tire during our out of state trip. The staff was very courteous and helped us even at the store closing time (7pm). Huge thanks to Steve Nelson & John Clark who stayed late to accommodate us during the storm and got us back on the road. This type of service is what takes the experience to the next level and beyond your expectations. The Goodyear location down the street told us they can pump more air into an active leaking tire! That goes to say something. They fixed the flat which had 2 nails and were friendly the entire time even though they stayed late for us.If the store management is reading this, I highly suggest you reward these two employees and make sure to keep them. They won me over and I will give my business to Tire Kingdom. Thank you guys! We truly appreciate your support and keep up the nice work.
My Honda CRV makes noise when I slowly release the brake. They replaced rear rotors for $322 but the noise is still there.
Just went in for an oil change. I found the staff friendly and very informative. Will definitely be back.
Nope, nope and more nope. They do not care about their service provided to others ans quickly try to place blame on the vehicle owner...We have submitted a contact us request and will expect a call for better resolution. I will happily update if appropriate customer service is provided. I would like to say the technician today however, was very kind.. Wish I could say that about others within the establishment.
If i could give this place less one star i would. The guy took his sweet time just to ask us what we needed. I have a screw in my tire, with insurance for a free replacement/fix and the guy was absolutely rude in telling me and my wife that it was gonna take 2 hours for them to replace/fix ONE tire. Mechanics just walking around on their phones, multiple bays open and nobody doing anything.
Dont go here...place sucks worked there for 4years..Dont pay good management no good service bad....needs to be closed down
Manager is rude and a liar. Had a tire which needed replaced, was covered by the Road Hazard Warranty (which never pays for itself but I bought it voluntarily). I was selling my car and did not want another warranty on the replacement tire, I told the guy at the counter so and he said no problem. After its done, they give me a bill for $41, which includes a new road hazard warranty. Clerk says their system wont let him bill it any other way and the manager had already left. Tells me to call back on Monday and theyll take care of it. I called on Monday, spoke to Richard who told me he could reverse the charge if I came down to the store. I got there, at which point Duane told me that wasnt an option, I had to buy the new warranty and there was nothing he could do. I told him that was a bunch of BS and left.Called TBC Corporation, explained what happened, and they subsequently apologized for the inconvenience and sent me a check for my $41. I dont know how their system works internally but I hope they billed the Gainesville store directly for the $41.In short, the manager of this location lies in an attempt to rip people off and in my case corporate made it right. He probably gets away with it most of the time, and for much higher dollar amounts.
Good shop. Busy Labor Day. Had a flat. Got two new tires. Nice showroom, free coffee. 👍
I went to this Tire Kingdom for an oil change and tire rotation/balance. In the process of completing this routine task, the technician failed to reattach the engine guard/splash guard beneath the engine. After driving off a few miles, it was ground down from contact with the road. After returning to the shop, they admitted they were at fault, but said the best they could do would be to attach what remained of the engine guard with plastic zip ties.Corporate led me on for five days, telling me that the District Manager would be contacting me in order to resolve the issue. Today, I received an email from a call center employee advising that the District Manager was not going to be contacting me and that that the DM had instructed her to tell me that there was nothing they were going to do.The repair for this issue is not $277 at my local Honda dealer. Think about what they will NOT do for you when they do something more serious than this to your car/truck. I will never use them again, not because of the technicians error, but because of corporate’s choice to do the WRONG thing rather than rectify the problem.
Great service!! I went in to get a light replaced and it was all fixed up in 5 minutes. I’ll be coming back here when I need service again. :)
Very friendly very helpful folks!
Avoid this place. Im new in town and made an appointment here for an oil change. After waiting an hour, the manager came out and said they couldnt do the oil change because the screw holding the oil pan on was stripped. He said it would be necessary to replace the entire pan and gave me an estimate of around $600. I refused it, obviously, because it didnt sound right to me, and the manager told me I wouldnt be able to get an oil change anywhere in town. Another customer who was also waiting on a car told me if that was really a problem, they could re-thread a new screw for a lot cheaper than $600, advice that I appreciated. I took my car to a different place the next day and they did the oil change and an inspection in half an hour with NO ISSUES. It was clear to me that the manager was taking advantage of me because Im a young woman and he thought I would just pay without asking questions. While waiting for my car in Tire Kingdom, I also noticed a lot of attitude between the employees and the manager. One employee was very angry and every time the manager checked in with him he would snap and say something rude, right in front of several waiting customers. A different employee offered to help the manager a few times or asked questions (I think he was new) and the manager kept saying things like Stop helping me, I know how to do my job and Youll find we dont do things like that around here. Then he would turn around and be nice as pie to the customers as though we hadnt just watched the interaction.I got a bad feeling from this place from the start and would not recommend it to anyone.
Brought two tires from Tire Rack online at a good price had them sent over to Tire Kingdom they installed them for me in about 45min. Everything for good no problems.
Abysmal customer service. Ordered tires and set an appointment a week in advance, they were going to be pretty busy on Saturday so I offered to take time off work and leave the car with them all day Friday instead. Took a morning hour off work to drop off the car and planned on walking back to work (little over a mile). When I arrived, they rudely said they didn’t have time to do the scheduled install, had me move my child’s wheelchair so they could cram the four tires in the back of the car. When I said that I was worried about breaking the rear windshield (the tires didn’t fit) they slammed the trunk, turned and walked away with my trunk unlatched.
This company should not wonder why they only have 3.5 stars. I went in to ask one simple question about air pressure the guys were extremely rude ignored me for several minutes. So I decided to pull around to the other side and I was ignored once again. The manager (African American)would not answer my question he then begin using foul language towards me telling me no one is obligated to help me on my time and that Im on their time who says that to a customer? so I took my money and service elsewhere. This is what happens when there are all men in a building and no women to show compassion and respect to women
Great place to have your car needs taken care of. Duane and staff were very polite and professional .I will definitely be comfortable sending friends and family to this store. Duane explained everything that my car needed and didnt pressure me, he just presented and let me make the decision .
The team was wonderful and did an expert job. Had four better grade tire installed after two tires had nails in them. Very satisfied customer!
On a Saturday afternoon, Steve was awesome to help me with my flat tire. He located the exact tire that I needed and I arranged to get the new tire to be changed the next day. They promptly ordered the tire in the morning and I was able to arive after work and get the new tire applied. Easy, clean, courteous and timely!!! Excellent care! I am so glad they are located near my home so that they can continue to take care of my tires and wheel alignments. I car rides so well and smooth. I love it!!! Thank you Ashton, along with the great manager, and the helper that changed my tire. I can easily recommend their shop!!!
Love taking my car in for free rotations and balancing. They dont try to sell you extra things. The staff is very friendly and helpful!
Would never suggest this place to anyone. The guy at the front desk wearing a orange and blue mask does not want to do his job. I get my tires rotated every 5K miles and he said I can come drop it off but when I get there he is questioning me on why I want my tires rotated and says he can’t do them.
Eddie is probably the most polite guy Ive ever met. I dont think anything would rattle his cage. The brakes were done throughout my truck and had no problem with the limited lifetime warranty. The guys at the radiator shop hand delivered my truck after they installed dual exhaust.Great job guys 👍💯
Friendly, professional, efficient service! Thanks!
Quick service
The location was very convenient for me. The work they did for me was done promptly and well. I had an oil change and tires rotated in 45 minutes and at a very competitive price.
Great service. Willing to go the extra mile. Good communication. Recommend making an appointment.
So after posting a review yesterday about the horrible customer service I got from the manager of the Gainesville FL store for damaging my car the corporate office contacted me today 4 days later agreeing to only reimburse me for the easy out removal of the oil plug the company damaged. The owner nor district manager would talk to me personally only their subordinate. So I may be getting reimbursed for the labor for the oil plug being broken off into my oil pan they wont reimburse me for the inconvenience of finding someone to replace without having to put in a new oil pan. Nor reimbursement for oil plug. Nor reimbursement for travel expense. Nor for the damage to the oil bdamaging my car port
My son attends UF and his vehicle needed a battery. I talked with Richard over the phone and he took care of the repair just as discussed. Regular customer of the Jupiter, Fl Tire Kingdom.Good Job!Mike RussellGood job!
I went in as a new car owner with zero experience and an old clunker that I was sure would need some fixing up. A representative looked at my car and explained some very basic knowledge I should know about my car. Instead of lying to me to get a quick buck, he told me everything was good with my car and sent me on my way, free of charge. Definitely recommend this place.
Staff upfront about wait times and very helpful.
Scott did a fabulous job doing my front brakes. I had been told by another company that both front and back brakes were needed but Tire Kingdom did an inspection and only my front brakes needed to be done at this time. Honest folks.
Pretty stiff labor rates for marginal mechanics on regular repairs. However, theyre very competitive on tire prices, assuming you have the brains to do some online research first, as they will generally match online prices. So, do your homework, then go tire shopping. Theyre also usually competitive on routine maintenance issues like brakes, alignments, shocks., etc. Dont be shy about questioning a price and asking for a lower one! The managers seem to always be easy to work with and pleasant.
Pretty good place. You definitely need an appointment, though. We had an appointment on a day they were swamped, and still waited 3 hours just for our car to be looked at. On the other hand, it seems like that was due only to an error in paperwork, and once the issue was realized we were given a discount and our car was fixed and finished within an hour, so they made it right. Everyone was quite nice, made it clear that they were willing to stay late for the customers, and in the end my car was well cared for.
Visit this place if you want to spend your life savings to only have to return countless times and continue to spend more money. I will never refer nor return ever again after my past experiences with the so called technicians who repeatedly forced me to spend more money than necessary to get my vehicle back on the road. My girlfriend went in for a traditional oil change, which turned into an astronomical disaster. She returns home hours later with a receipt for $830. She was bullied into purchasing all new tires with some type of bundle that cost an extra $200! Apparently if you do not purchase the road hazard warranty the tire warranty is void, something Ive never heard before, ever. She shows me the vehicle alignment readings given to her, that only an engineer or automotive mechanic would be able to read, which makes me even more suspicious that it didnt need one to begin with. This guy Steve also tells her that her battery is testing low and that it had to be jump started, which I know for a fact is a lie because the battery was just replaced 6 months ago at the Chevrolet dealership and has not given us one issue to this day!!!! He also told her she needs a power steering service, so I call the dealer and they said the vehicle has an electric power steering system which requires absolutely no maintenance whatsoever. He also listed that the vehicle needs new suspension, new brakes and tune-up at 46,000 miles. I would go to the dealership or a reputable repair facility where they actually know what they are talking about. All you get out of going to tire kingdom is an empty bank account and a laundry list of bogus repairs.I will be paying this place a visit when I get back from my internship.
So far I absolutely love these guys took my car into them cuz my last mechanic was screwing me over so far they were very nice very hopeful got done what I needed done on my car which was my brakes for about $75 less than the other guys took them less than an hour even having to find the rotors I will definitely be coming back
This Tire Kingdom is bar far the best repair shop in Gainesville! I came in with a completely flat tire and Dwayne got it fixed in and had me out the door in 15 minutes!! If you come here, definitely ask for Dwayne!
Had a great experience here! everyone was so kind and welcoming. they set me up with netflix and coffee while i waited for my vehicle. great prices too! would recommend it to anyone
Wish I knew all the names of the crew that helped me today but above all Richard was extremely helpful and thorough in his explanations of what my Volkswagen needed. I went in for a routine oil change along with a light replacement and when it came to my tires he took the time to explain the details and even went to the extent to show me the difference in tread. I highly recommend the mechanics at this shop and specifically this team. Thanks!
Had a terrible experience at Tire Kingdom. I would never recommend them! I am new in town and was looking for a reliable company to get an oil change. I had called and was told it was best to make an appointment, and I did. I arrived on time for the appointment and had to wait 10 minutes to even be checked in. The employee who checked me in, Dwayne, was extremely rude, not only to me but clients ahead of me. He proceeded to tell me it would be an hour and a half before they could change my oil. I told him I made an appointment and couldnt wait an hour and a half. He then told me to go to Jiffy Lube if I wanted it done quicker. I just turned around and walked out. Dwayne is not a very nice man and should not be dealing with the public.
Curtious and great service. Ill be using them from here on out. Thank you to all the staff at Tire Kingdom for getting me back on the road.I had talk to Richard the day before but I was actually blown away with Steve the day of service. The way he handled customers on the phone and in store shows he knows what he doing and has great customer service skills.I hope they value you Steve!
Avoid this place had a flat on expresway wdnt to get a spare tire they told me one price on phone had two tires in stock. When i arrived filled out paperwork the $160 tire i was told on the phone was now $240. When i said no i wanted what was quoted he then said he was holding the 4 tires for another customer so i could only get the more expensive other brand. That was all B.S. bait and switch and did not want to satisfy are situation by offering a discount on the other brands he was pushing. Total fail for this place. Avoid
Duane (store manager) was an upfront and no-nonsense kind of guy. He took my car in 30 minutes earlier than my appointment and the technician, Mike, was able to give me a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation serve in an hour. They even left me a nice note in my car with a mint.
Took almost 2 hours for a oil change. When we got back in our car we found the mechanic had went through our glove compartment.
I came by near the end of the day because I had picked up a screw in one of my tires and was losing air. The shop was extremely busy and short staffed, but they found a way to get the job done and send me on my way. I appreciate all their superlative efforts.
This is the best place to get tires. I have been coming here for years and always get great service. Dewayne and Richard are a pleasure to work with and they will make sure you get the right tires for your budget.
Over an hour for an oil change.. charged me $83 and tried to do much more work than needed, will be going to Honda where an oil change is $35. Slow and depressing shop
These guys rock! They have been my go-to shop since 2008, they will advise you on what you need and will get the car finished at the agreed upon time. If you have any problems, management will take care of everything to ensure you are happy.
Good experience. You should make an appointment as they are busy.
I visited this Tire Kingdom location to remedy one specific issue I was having with my vehicle. After they brought my car back, I was told that I needed several other things done. I polite-fully declined the services and was met with some negative opposition. I knew exactly what I needed because I had my car inspected by a trustworthy, family friend mechanic the week prior. None of the things the Tire Kingdom representatives mentioned I needed were noticed by the other mechanic. This makes me question the integrity and credibility of this locations claims. Also, the service representative was forcibly trying to sell Tire Kingdom credit cards to each person that was having service done.On top of everything else, the service was slow, despite me being one of the few people in the shop. I would not recommend this location.
Clean place and good prices, but not sure that Id use them for anything other than tires. I dropped my SUV off for an oil change the day before a family road trip, expecting to pick it up a few hours later. I got a phone call informing me that the oil pan had been stripped, and that it couldnt be fixed until the next day, because the tech with the proper tool had gone home early. My family ended up having to leave a day late and lose part of our vacation over this issue. The employees were very nice about the whole thing and tried their best to help me out, but it seemed less than professional to say the least.
These guys are very fair, patient, and professional!! Highly recommend. Will be going back there for any of my car needs.
Been here 3 times. Honest guys. Competitive prices. Open Sundays. Even when we showed up on Sunday, and all of their employees called in the day after homecoming, they still minutes and balanced 4 tires on our benz in normal amount if time. And, they were slammed...busy...phi2ne ringing off the hook.
I love this place! I would not go anywhere else!
So considerate and helpful! Was very open and transparent about every move made on my car. Definitly enjoyed my experience! And since its Valentines Day they were handing out roses!
Nice friendly staff. My experience with these guys has been excellent. Theyre very accommodating and do what they can to help you in every way.
First time using tire kingdom today, I was impressed. The guys helped me find a coupon for my oil change and I found a flower on my seat as i was leaving. What a nice gesture!
Slow and to much talking and employees want to talk on phone and no one wants to do there job
Dwayne the store manager has a very nasty attitude. Doesn’t have any manners at all. Over heard him cursing on the phone while in his office with the door wide open. The workers seem intimidated by him. As a customer I should feel welcomed, and I didn’t. They seem as though they don’t know anything about cars and want to do things their way instead of the RIGHT way. I do not recommend this place at all. They have a terrible way of representing Tire Kingdom as a brand.
Would have been 5 stars but the tire king would not see me...
EVERY TIME I bring my cars here....I get nothing but amazing service and they let me know if anything is wrong with my vehicles and dont push me into buying anything or getting anything done without my approval. Their customer service skills are above par and they even throw in a flower to make us ladies feel a little love....Duane and Steve are amazing story guys!!!!
Seemed honest, nice, polite and up front, and then took an additional half hour beyond the 1.5-2 they told me it would take. That isnt major, but then they slapped another 12 dollars in shop fees on top of my oil disposal fee and everything else despite me signing for a specific price. After bringing up that they never mentioned these fees after signing the quote they gave me for 23 they pointed to a sign behind the counter that you cant read that says they can add shop fees without telling you. Beware.
I went for a routine oil change and they stripped my drain plug in the oil pan, resulting in a $550 repair. They tried to blame the company who did my last oil change, so I was stuck in between with neither company taking responsibility. It wasnt until after I had to pay for the repair that I learned they have done the same thing to a friend of a friend. Ill be doing my own oil changes from now on, thanks.
Staff have always been friendly, very helpful and go out of their way to make sure I get what I need and to understand what I mat need in the future. I never feel pressured to purchase anything. Ive never had a bad experience there.
I went to the one on Newberry Rd. today for a simple front end alignment. The man who works in the front came back and said I would need these other things done before I could get an alignment because it would stay that way otherwise. After immediately pulling my car back out of the stall, the rude-like and abrupt man then gives me a printout with a list of the things he said I needed done BEFORE the alignment, adding up to the sum of $1,634.81 . .. . After realizing a scam, I was then referred to THE ALIGNMENT GUY where my aliment was done for $70.00 with no issues.
BEWARE!! After the GV store service tech Harmon snapped off my oil plug leaving my car unable to change oil Duane Wisor manager refused to fix handed me my snapped off part and wanted me off lot saying the would not fix. Tried to pass blame onto past tech. Called corporate district manager cant reach him nor have I received a call back from them. BEWARE!!
Very friendly employees and were quick to change out all 4 tires for new ones on our travel trailer. Kudos to the Gainesville store!
Absolutely the worst place on the planet period! Service is sub par at best on good days. 2-3 hours just for a rotate and balance. Just bought tires from them about 16 months ago and after having my car there since 7 am this morning and 6 hours later me calling to find out when it will be ready, I have a separation and need 2 tires. I explained I bought the tires about 15-16 months ago and manager dewayne acted like it wasn’t his problem. When I called at 6pm the night before to schedule an appointment,he told me his computers were out. This is just a constant issue and instead of saying oh you bought Rhodes from us let’s check and see what we can do...nothing, not a peep cause he doesn’t give a damn about customer service just how much profit he can make. I took my car to another place and they did confirm separation but also pointed out the tires I had on where manufactured in 2014 so when I bought them in 2017 they were already 3 years old. No surprise coming from this place. I know this a lengthy review but please, do yourself, family and friends a favor and steer clear of this store. There are plenty of tire dealers in Gainesville to choose from. You don’t need to go here.
Brought my car in for a simple alignment after having my tie-rods changed. The associate on duty was very unpleasant and curt. I explained that I would like an alignment done due to vibration and the steering wheel being out of line. He immediately retorted youve got a tire issue. Its the tires. I politely asked that an alignment be performed as well. When I can back to pick up my vehicle, I dealt with the same unpleasant associate. He was on the phone and He handed me my key and said I was all set. No paperwork, receipt, nothing.I get to my car and the steering wheel is still crooked, and the alignment was not done as the car still pulls to one side.Never take your vehicle here for an alignment!!!!!
We got a blowout evacuating from hurricane Irma. I went to the website and received a quote including taxes for $303.92 at this location with tires in suck. The gentleman at the store proceeded to tell me they dont do online quotes and if he cut me a break on the exact same services listed on the site, our would be $380. With my family in the car, when I asked why have a website for your specific location when you wont honor the quote, he hung up on me. Really?? Price gouging people fleeing the worst storm in US history? Can we leave less than one star?
They were so fast and helpful! I didn’t feel at all like they were trying to force me into repairs . I will go back :)
Great Shop and mechanics I feel I can trust. They never push you to buy or fix anything thats not truly necessary--Ive experienced such pushy behavior at many other shops in Gainesville but NOT Tire kingdom. Im a med student and dont have the extra $ to fix some nonessential things on my vehicles. Love their 20$ oil change coupons on the back of winn dixie receipts. Good customer service to top it off!
Great place! Friendly staff and great customer service. Best in town. They got rubber covered! 😉
Awesome service and prices!! Will be going back to get other services done!! Thank you ☺️
Got 4 new tires and oil change. Awesome price and service. Great place.
Great people. Fair pricing. Got us in and out quickly without an appointment.
Fast service, great prices, nice people! Highly recommend!
Got mostly what we went to get. They did not return tire they took off rim (which we had requested). They did return it later.
Great prices and fantastic service. Thank you to Richard & Duane for all your help answering my questions!
My girlfriends Jeep was having trouble due to a spark-plug going out. Sent it over to this Tire Kingdom to get the issue addressed. These guys are CLEARLY in the business of making you sign up for more than you need. They told me, point blank, to my face that all 4 of her tires were completely bald. I am not blind; I could clearly seeing and measure the depth of her tread. Luckily we had the sense to say yeah, no thanks. Upon picking up the car, with a new spark-plug installed (this they did a good enough job at, and the sparkplug hasnt been an issue since), they informed us oh, by the way, theres a crack in your radiator. The radiator had been giving her zero issues prior to this and we had never seen a drop in the fluids. Then, magically, within the next 24 hours, half of her radiator fluid had leaked out through a large visible crack in the radiator and she had a roadside emergency. Thanks for the heads up, guys! I have no way of proving these guys actually cracked my girlfriends radiator, but it does seem like one hell of a coincidence. Needless to say, we did not repair the radiator at this shop.
These guys are good only to rotate tires - if you supervise them closely. They changed my timing belt and ruined any possible sensor around the timing belt. It is not their fault of course, the life-end for the sensors just came up...Stay away!
For follow-up, the oil had been changed as the dipstick was clean and fluid was to the fill line. The result is that this service center was blatantly fraudulent. Please be aware this is likely a common practice at this location. Updated 7/3/18.I would be very hesitant to recommend this as a reputable service center. My primary issue is that an oil change was recommended when the car had just been there 2 wks ago, for an oil change. Now Im wondering if the oil change was actually performed. I know I paid for it.
I was overcharged, but thankfully the inspection was free. I was told I needed a list of things done on all four of my brakes/tires. The estimate came out to about $1000. I went to another shop and they told me the issues I had while braking are likely due to rotor wear. I had the rotors turned and now the brakes work fine. I paid $70. I do not recommend Tire Kingdom unless you want to over pay.
Had my alignment done there, was not done right got home saw that the tire was leaning in called the next day. guy said bring it in an we will take care of it i even asked if i need to make an appointment to make sure it gets done, he said no just bring it in i bring it in later that day an was told he cant do it today.. needless to say i would not recommend having anything done here especially alignments
Dropped my car off for 4 new tires and an oil change. It was done in the time they specified. 4 stars because one of the rubber seals they put in at the sensor in one of the tires was bad and caused one of the new tires to go flat by the time I arrived at my next destination. I had to have it towed back in order for them to fix the issue, but once I got the vehicle there, they did fix the problem in a timely manner. The staff was friendly. The waiting areas were clean.
I went there for an oil change on a Tuesday morning. The staff was friendly and informative. My kids were with me and were able to watch a movie on Netflix, color, and read a book and all courtesy of Tire Kingdom. There is also coffee, a Kuerig, Water fountain, and soda/juice machine. Service didnt take long, maybe 30 minutes (if that). Will return for maintenance and I will suggest this place.
If i was able to rate this place 0 stars I would. This is the worst service I’ve ever received at any car place. They did nothing but try to rip me off and take advantage of me being a young college student. DO NOT GO HERE OR SEND YOUR KID HERE for any car issue. Didnt have a nail in one of my tires a day before and all of a sudden did 5 minutes after being there. Disrespectful, terrible customer service, attempted to rip me off, and almost took my mirror off backing out of the garage. I could easily go on about how terrible i think this place is but my best advice is to not go to them for any reason.
Great customer service!
I bought new tires i took off the car shook i brought it back they tried to say it was my rear end well now there’s a new one under it and it still shakes i know they did not try to rebalance the rims i’m stood if trying to blame it on something else it shakes from 54 77 at 80 smooth before 50 smooth it’s a high speed balance issue i’ll go back to another store i will not go back to newberry road i here this from everybody beware all
I just love these guys!! I had just relocated to Gainesville and noticed a vibration at higher speeds, so I took my car in for routine wheel & balance, and possibly new tires. Once they got it up on the rack, they said the tires were fine but I needed new shocks. 2 hrs later, once that work was completed, I asked if that that would solve the rattling noise I had been hearing. Mike said “Rattling noise? What rattling noise?” So he took a ride with me and 5 seconds down the road said “Hm, that sounds like a bearing”. They had to wait for a part to be delivered so I was there for another few hours. But I didn’t mind because all the guys were super friendly, and they even left a couple flowers in my car to thank me for my patronage. Exactly one week later, the towing dolly I rented with the moving truck tore the front bumper off my car. I went ahead and removed the remaining screws holding it on, and just threw it in my car for the move. The Honda dealership wanted to charge me a hundred bucks to reattach the bumper, even tho there was no damage, nothing to order, and would’ve only taken ten minutes to do. Now I know TK is not historically known for doing body work, but I know they sometimes have to remove bumpers & fenders to get at engines or tires, so I figured it was worth a shot to give them a call, since they’d definitely be cheaper than the dealership. Mike confirmed that, no, they don’t do body work, and they might not have the right clips, but they’d be glad to take a look and see what they could do. I showed up a few minutes late for my apt and was still in and out of there in less than half an hour, and the bumper was put back on for half the price. Mike wasn’t there so I spoke with Duane, and Chris was the service tech who actually did the work. Incidentally, while I was waiting, customers continued calling about their cars and Duane explained to each one what they had found, and painstakingly quoted prices for each part of the repairs, prior to doing any work. However, this black lady (and I use that term lightly because she was definitely NOT a lady), came in screaming and yelling because *gasp* they performed a brake job on her car and she wanted to leave without paying. Duane very calmly explained that he HAD called her, quoted her the price for both the brakes AND the A/C, and that she had said not to do anything with the AC but to go ahead with the brakes. Several fellow customers and myself had been present for both conversations and were able to confirm Duane’s side of the story. The woman originally claimed she didn’t have the money to pay, but then ended up throwing a bunch of cash on the counter and storming out. I hate it when ppl get irate at someone else for their own stupidity! Anyway, we all got a chuckle over her being a big dump stupid moron. Shortly after that, I paid my bill, got my keys, got in my car, and there, on the seat, was a flower. I love these guys!!
