My rear view mirror got knocked off late at night. I called mid afternoon on a Friday and Gerber fit me in. I arrived at 1:30 and my mirror was fixed within 5 minutes. All it needed was to be tightened. They didn’t even charge me. Plus the whole office just seemed to enjoy being there.

I also loved how fast the service was. Within about 15 minutes, I had all of my paperwork signed and I was into my rental. When the finished, my car looked amazing and I’m extremely satisfied. BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!!!I am adding to this review because if you look at replies, you will see one from Gerber. They stated that the manager of the shop I went to has been trying to contact me (I think his name is Charlie). This is not true. I have a landline and a cell phone and I have received no calls from Gerber to address my concerns. Gerber has told a lie which leads me to believe I am correct about the additional damage to my vehicle being done on purpose to increase their billing . My original post is below.I hit a deer the 1st of December 2020. Damage to my truck involved the grill, the bumper with fog lights, and the passenger side headlight. My insurance company gave me a list of body shops and I chose Gerber in Gainesville, FL on 33rd Ave. as it was rated A+ Preferred by my insurance company. An appointment was made for me to take my truck there on 12/7/2020. I drove my truck until then. I used the air conditioning on warm days and the heat when it was cool. No problems. I watched the gauges and everything was running within normal limits. I live in the country so anywhere I go, its 20 to 40 minute drive. No issues. On 12/7 I dropped off my truck at Gerber and they were very friendly. The rep went out with me to look at the truck, he took pictures and marked the damage. I took the rental they had waiting for me and went home. Later that night, having nothing to do, I was browsing my insurance companies site, and noticed the claims icon. I clicked on it and was looking at my claim and THERE WERE PICTURES from Gerber. Wow did I learn something. Apparently, the damage my truck came in with was not enough. Now, the fender is damaged, my condenser has holes in it, I have a dent in the hood, and they ripped off my hemi logo. I of course went there first thing in the morning, told them not to touch my truck, filed a complaint with my insurance company, and had my truck moved to another shop. If you take your vehicle to this shop, keep a close eye on it. Maybe I was a special case, maybe they do this all the time so they can bill more, I do not know. I spoke to my insurance company as I feel Gerber should pay my deductible. The extra damage and increased time without my vehicle was caused by Gerber. I was only supposed to be without my vehicle for a week as the damage was not major. It has now been over a month because of the more extensive repairs needed, and the holidays. Of course my insurance company said what I asked was not possible from their end so I am considering small claims court.The pictures attached show my truck immediately after hitting the deer. You see there is no damage to the passenger side fender. Then there is a picture of how they damaged the fender and the condenser.

My car is being worked on since an accident several weeks ago...they have been great about keeping me updated on their progress.

Courtney and Charlie stayed in touch with me with the repairs on my truck. They even had my truck delivered to my work as my schedule wouldnt allow me to leave to pick it up.

I came here for some body repair after being rear-ended everything went incredibly smoothly and easily. The work was high quality, was completed quickly, and they even washed the car which was a nice bonus. They had great communication the whole time and completed the work quickly and ahead of schedule. I cant comment on the price because this was paid for by the other drivers insurance so I didnt shop around. Im taking one star off only because some of the staff didnt wear masks when I was inside of the office.

Brought my special edition Iron Man Kona in to have them paint a small piece of a vent that fell off. This car has a matte paint job so the painting can be difficult. Thanks to Gerber my car is back to saving the Universe yet again! Thank you Gerber!

I had work done by Gerber on NE 33rd ave in 2016 after being rear ended. I noticed water leaking into my trunk in 2020 and brought it back to Gerber to see if my warranty would apply to fixing this.The young woman at the front desk, Brittany, and the GM, Charlie, were very easy to work with, professional, and very organized. Brittany always had the best attitude, even though I probably called them way too many times. Charlie personally came out to assess my trunk and explain the likely cause and said that of course this would be under warranty. Not only did he do a good job, he genuinely seemed to want to help. Also, the man has a good beard.Definitely recommend them and will use again if needed.

When someone backed into my Honda Odyssey, I took my vehicle to Gerber Collision & Glass to have it repaired. Dave and his team provided excellent service! He took the vehicle back quickly to get the repairs started, and the front desk helped to arrange a rental car pickup. During the repair process Dave kept me up-to-date on the progress. The car was repaired earlier than promised, the body work looked like new, and the car had been cleaned on the inside and outside. Highly recommend Gerber, and thanks to Dave for his great service!

I went to Gerber to fix my bumper/fender and I am extremely satisfied with my experience! Everyone was very accommodating and professional. There were several people who were willing to answer all of my questions and notified me every day of the progress of my vehicle. The rental service with Enterprise was also great, providing me with a car while I had mine repaired! I worked with Dave at Gerber, Thomas Reid at Geico, Garrett Scott at Enterprise, and the kind lady at the front desk as well.

Utter garbage. Paint color off by 2 full shades. Pinstriping applied half inch lower than the other side. Overspray on mirror. Broke the side panel on drivers seat in the process and above all else they never even bothered to prep the surface to be painted because they just painted over the old pinstriping. They actually left the pinstriping on the car and painted over it. Complete garbage work.

I went to Gerber last week to get a quote for a front bumper repair. They were so genuine and honest, and they really helped us out! Dave noticed the damage was mainly paint transfer, and he wiped it off for us. He was very honest about the damage to my car and did not try to charge me for unnecessary work. He even helped us out and removed the tree sap from my car so it wouldnt stain the paint. I truly appreciate what Dave and Gerber did for my car.

The quality of repair and customer service here is through the roof. I’ve used this Gerber location twice and am more than impressed each time. My car looks GREAT and I enjoy working with the people there. They’re always professional, welcoming, and on-time!

Gerber did an excellent job of repairing my vehicle. I was hit by another car, sustaining multiple damage. They repaired my vehicle, matched the paint and the orange striping like new.

We took our Caddy there for a Geico repair. The front bumper was damaged and had to be replaced. They were very professional and kept us informed throughout the process. We were very pleased. They matched the paint perfectly and did excellent work. I also had a sealed beam headlight that needed to be replaced. They charged half of what the dealer wanted to replace it. if I need body work or glass replacement they will be my first choice.

These guys are great. I had an appointment with another place down the street and it was horrible. I had already made plans, so I went into Gerber and explained the situation to them and the squeezed me in! Their customer service was phenomenal! And my car looks great. Not only that, but they came in under what I was estimated. Could not be more impressed. All around great place! I will definitely be taking my car here in the future and encouraging everyone else to, as well.

If I could give them 6 stars I would! I brought my car in because a branch fell and broke the glass of my trunk and sunroof. I got an estimate that day without even calling ahead.The estimate was for $2,500, which was still the lowest I had received in Gainesville. However, after all the repairs, I only owed $1,500!!The people at Gerber are great, the communication is awesome, and the repair service was outstanding and fast. Would recommend to a friend 10/10 times.

Gerber Collision & Glass repaired my truck back in 2016 after a tree limb from the hurricane fell on it. I recently noticed where it was repaired that it had started to crack. I took it back to Gerber. They fixed my truck and set me up with a rental car. No charge. To me. The staff at Gerber was wonderful. Thank you so much!!

This was my first time taking my Mazda 3 in to take care of some dings and scratched from road construction. They kept in touch with me regularly and did a thorough job of updating me on any new discoveries. They worked with my insurance and the whole process was painless. They even checked my rental back in for me.The finished job was beautiful, you dont even know that there were deep scratches in the first place. The staff is friendly and professional. Definitely coming here whenever I need a body shop.

They did an excellent job fixing my vehicle! An accident made the front passenger door unusable and had paint scrapes and dents the entire length of the car. Now you cant even tell anything had been damaged, the door is perfect, and the paint job matches perfectly.

I contacted my insurance company and was referred to Gerber Collision.i was told that the car will take about 5 to 7 days when I went to pick it up at 4:45pm that Friday, I got a text message at 4:40pm that they must put another part. and told me to come back next Monday which I did drive all the way back that day.Well to make it short see the images below and tell me that this job for over $2k was done right.I told the adjuster about all the issues and he told me to bring it back after Michael hurricane to fix it Really?? I wrote them to take me a rental car to my work and take mine to get it fixed..guess what never received a call or a respond to my email. Thats my experience

They are not worthy to give even one star point. It was horrible body shop ever experienced.The front passenger side of my car got damage due to accident out of fault. Another drivers insurance company asked me to get inspection in Gerber body shop. When I visited there, they told me that they wouldnt do only inspection. They told me that I have to get repair here. I have another well known body shop in Gainesville, but inevitably I was compelled to get service in Gerber. Anyway, a few day later, they notified me to pick up my car, that is first time what I sent back my car to get repair again. The front bumper was unbalanced and any parts was not adjusted properly.When I got a pick-up call at second time, NOTHING was repaired additionally there was more scratch on the bumper. I felt anger from their attitudes. So I sent back again.Yesterday, they called me for picking up. The bumper was replaced. They told me that they replaced bumper with Lexus OEM parts that means ever the first replaced one was from 3rd party after market. It was very disappointed. And installation was worse. the passenger side where I originally claimed got a little better, but driver side bumper was horrible. I can check it was unpinned inside. Moreover, passenger side head lamp positioned forwarder than driver side which can be check by just a look. A manager told me THAT WAS BEST WHAT THEY CAN DO.NOW I AM GOING TO MY FAVOR BODY SHOP TO REPAIR AGAIN.DONT WAST YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY IN GERBER.THEY PLAY YOU FOR A FOOL.

I was recently in a car crash and was redirected to the Gerber Collison & Glass by Geico. I went to their 101 NE 33rd Ave, Gainesville FL location. I was more than pleased with their work—my car was left brand new. I turned my car in on a Thursday and that following Monday I received a call that it was ready for pickup; the car was ready earlier than promised which was on Wednesday! I am far more than satisfied. My Nissan was left cleaner than how I turned it in. Not only that, but the staff was nothing but professional; they kept me informed during the entire process. Everyone was extremely nice and treated me with respect. They even offered a ride back home since I had no access to a car. I was refunded the money for all my Uber rides while I did not have my car, which was very considerate of the company. The location was clean, organized, and well-kept. All my papers were returned to me in an individual folder that had all my paperwork. They weren’t scattered around or hard for them to find. I was also provided all the contact information for everyone working on my car. In other words, everything was amazing! On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest, I would definitely rate them a 10. I without a doubt, recommend them.
