The wait was a little long, but I know that you all was short staffed. It wasnt a bad experience and you all were VERY busy at the time. Considering staffing it was great.
I drove all over town looking for a run flat tire with not much luck (no one had my tire size at the warehouse)until I called Nissan they had no wait I was able to get my tire the next day, they checked the other tires for me and put air in my tires to get me by. The service was top notch, As a female they understood that I have no way of handling this situation on my own and went above and beyond to make sure I would be safe and have a new tire asap..I drove away feeling relieved and happy to know if I have any problems I could go back to this dealership and it would be taken care of..
Never going back! No return phone calls, and nobody has a clue as to what they are doing. Have had a charge account for over a year, and every time we go its a hassle. Supposedly they cant find the account, and then after arguing every time OHH there it is! Not to mention the time I ordered a set of tires, and made (two) trips from Trenton over there for the tires. Only gave 1 star because you cant post without it. I AM DONE!
Worst service experience of my car service life.I am 58 years old, and have bought several new and used cars in my life. I purchased a barely used 2018.5 Nissan Rouge with only about 3,000 miles on it from Tomlinson Motors in Gainesville, and the car has been great. Got a recall notice for an issue with the cars computer programming, instructed me to take it to the dealer for service. I read the Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) online, seemed like a simple fix. I scheduled an appointment online with Gainesville Nissan for a morning appointment. Based on my research of the TSB, it seemed like a 15-30 minute fix. I took 1/2 day off work that morning just to be sure that it could be completed, as I had never been to the dealership before. I arrived on time, and dropped off the car, expecting a fairly quick stop, as I had booked an appointment with them. Three hours later I asked the service rep if my car would be ready soon? He responded that they had not even looked at it yet, and I was still a couple of cars deep in line. Why make an appointment? Nothing was done at all, and I missed a 1/2 day of work. Car is great, but do not use this dealership for service. These posts below, with the photos and all, seem a bit different than my real world experience. Whatever, lets just say that I will NOT go back, nobody seemed to care. It is a programming issue that may need a dealership, but I will schedule an appointment with another one when I am out of town. Again, why make an appointment online if it does not matter?
I was so impressed in how fast my car received service .It only took 45 min and there where 4 cars ahead of me it usually would take way over an HR to get oil change .So they have been working on getting them out faster.i sure give them koodoos!! Great job guys !

First time having my car serviced here at Gainesville Nissan and I must say I was impressed. Var, a service technician that greeted me was very respectful, professional, knowledgeable of his job and has a go above & beyond work ethic. He was getting cars processed in and out in a very efficient matter so, whom ever his boss is Var needs to be recognized & congratulated on a job well done along with a free lunch of his choice. Now, my wait time on the other hand had nothing to do with Var because he had already checked my car in but it was long for it to not be busy. Chris Kelly, my advisor was attempting to put my information in their system when everything was wiped out Var took me to his office where I gave the necessary information and thats when Chris informed me to what had happened it was 10:40am by now and my scheduled appt was 10am. My car was immediately taken to be serviced. When checking out Chris apologized for the delay and made up by replacing the battery in my key remote free of charge. I scheduled my follow-up appt to have my front brakes and filters replaced as well. My over visit was a very pleasant one. Thanks Gainesville Nissan!!!
The staff are nice but havent even had the car four months and it has a dead battery that nobody seems to have that costs over 200 dollars.. Ill definitely end up trading elsewhere.
As soon as I mentioned a refund for my unused gap insurance and road hazard after selling my vehicle that was bought from them. Ive been ghosted for 2 weeks. Emailed called been put on hold for 40 minutes.Before mentioning it I had no problem getting ahold of anyone, big surprise.

My wife and I was on our way to Marathon Florida when the alternator seized up and shredded the belt on my Nissan Juke. Had it towed to Gainesville Nissan and they made a 4 hour turnaround to get us back on the road to our honeymoon. I loved the catered service and the down to earth personalities of everyone who helped. I would have loved to see more options, but shopping can get tiring. I visited Matt today in finance because when I purchased my previous car from them, I purchased an extra warranty. I recently traded that car for another car type and realized that I was owed a refund for that extra warranty. I called Matt last week and told me what to bring. Well this is my second review, I took the other one down because they fixed the problem the first time.. but here we are again just a few months later.....Dont ever buy a used car from them. They say the check them over and the are certified pre owned cars. So far we have had a oil leak 1200. Some seals that were leaking 659. And now only 6 months later we are having blacknsmoke come out of the car. Take it in to find out whats wrong. Im told it could be 2 things both could cost me another 500 each. But they cant tell me which one is causing the issue till the fix them both. So another 1000. On a car that we were not even going to buy from them. Never again Nissan of Gainesville.

Brought our nearly new Nissan Altima into the dealership for a problem with the radio. They replaced the head unit, but in the process of replacing the unit they marred the plastic trim around the head unit and gave the car back to us that way. We are pleased with the replacement hardware, however disappointed in the care of our vehicle during the repair.

Told them I had a coupon for a mobile 1 oil change. They verified if it was the 59.99 one and I said yes. Ended up doing my oil change as the Nissan synthetic oil and charged me over 70 for Nissan synthetic.

My first and only time bringing a car to Gainesville Nissan for service: I asked the service advisor if my email and postal address would be used for marketing purposes or shared with other companies. He assured me it would not. Spam postal mail and email immediately started rolling in from Gainesville Nissan, CarFax, SiriusXM, etc., all messages linked to that one service appointment. I tried to reach the service department by phone to complain. The phone receptionist repeatedly forwarded me to a voicemail box that is full and cannot receive incoming messages. The receptionist also sent emails to service department personnel for me, requesting a callback. No response. Avoid Gainesville Nissan if you dont want your contact info sold.

Bought a car on 10/31. Had tire pressure issues as early as a week after I bought the car. Refilled the tire four times before I decided to take it to the dealership on 12/12. Had to pay for the tire to be sealed and I was informed that I need new windshield wipers. The wipers should be provided to me free of charge as I should not need new wipers within my first few weeks of having the car. And the tire sealing should be free as well.

Service department is good. A little confusing set up since there is not a service desk. Each service advisor has their own office instead. They greet you as soon as you pull up, and get you checked in immediately. Notifications about service via text are easy to respond to. Plus you can pay before picking up your car, which makes it faster checking out.

Horrible experience and the worst customer service ever!! I was totally rob by Nissan!!! My car was running rough. Took it to Nissan and was told if I get my spark plugs changed and transmission service that would fix the problem. I agree to let Nissan fix it. Along the way they seen my battery need to be service. They let me know what was needed and I agreed to let them fix the issue. Pick my car up after paying Nissan almost 700$!! Got home open my hood and guess what my battery got no service at all still looked the same. I immediately called Nissan they told me to bring the car back. Got there and they looked at the battery and responded oh the mechanic forgot to do it.....!!!! Well what else did he forget??? I know it’s a sign off progress that they have to sign when the job finished..! Later that day guess who car was running bad again my car!!! Call Nissan Monday morning to tell them my car was still running the same just for their response to be well we just gave you recommendations that could fix the problem... Wow!! Which then made me question was Anything even done to my car since the mechanic FORGOT to service my battery!!! Highway robby and professional thieves!!!!! Going to another mechanic to let them check to see if Nissan complete the job and hopefully they say yes if not If we DEFINITELY going about this another way!!!!!!!

I visited the service department at Gainesville Nissan yesterday. My battery had begun to fail and I thought that it was under warranty. It turned out that it wasnt and I was initially disappointed and confused. The service manager, Steve, and the staff including Avery and Bryan were patient and helpful. They took the time to explain the situation in depth and to help me explore my options. Steve ended up going above and beyond to help me replace my battery at a much lower cost than policy dictated. Thanks for taking so much time to help me, Steve! Thanks for being SO upbeat, kind, and helpful Avery and Bryan. Oh, AND because I have mobility issues, Steve coordinated my service being completed while I was in the vehicle. So helpful! Thanks again! The price points could be better as they are on the high end for oil changes etc. Also they should include complimentary tire rotation with an oil change at those prices. Overall the Service Advisor was good about making things right for me. It was my first time coming to your place for service.

I came in for routine service which included an oil change and tire rotation and balance. I purchased my vehicle in May and this was my first service so the dealership honored the free first service which was amazing. The gentleman we worked with was very helpful as well. Overall I left very happy with the level of customer service.
I had bought 3 cars in here, they had a great vendor, Gary, who I trusted dearly. I took all the cars to service there religiously.I could give them a 5 starts right away, but this last time I was disappointed about their COVID19 safety protocols. Theres not mandatory masks, many staff and public are unmasked all around.I am also tired of all the extra burden of this illness, but until we get herd immunity with the vaccines we must practice CDC recommendations, enforced it or not by Governments.
I had gone to another dealership the day before and was made to feel like they were doing me a favor and didnt even get me into the vehicle I wanted and tried to sell me something on the lot that wasnt at the lot. Another customer had it but was bringing it back the next day. Come to find out, the car I wanted and test drove was the interest of another customer with better credit. When I went to Gainesville Nissan it was completely different. My salesman, Roger Briseno took me to the Nissan Rogue Sport and sold me on this car. It was not what I was looking for but he made me want this car! He new the ins and outs of this vehicle and I could tell he took great pride in these vehicles that he sells everyday. I am in love with my new care and the entire staff that I came in contact with on this day made me and my mom feel like family and right at home. They welcome you with open arms into their Nissan family and let you know how much they appreciate your business both with actions and words. I will be back for all my maintenance, washes, and when I am ready for another new car, Roger will be the man to sale it to me.
They seem friendly during negotiations. Cannot get a return call after the sale. Truck wasnt prepped after purchase. Wasnt given a rundown of all the systems in the truck. Buy a truck somewhere else.

My wife bought a car here 11/27/20 and she traded in a car that she still owed on, so part of the deal was that her old car should have been paid off.A month later, she realized that the old loan hadnt been paid and she contacted Nissan. They promised that it would be processed within 24 hours. They said it was being paid that very moment.Several days later it still hasnt been paid and shes being threatened with late charges and being sent to collections for a car that she no longer owns. Both the sales manager and the general manager refuse to talk to her and deal with the issue. I would NEVER do business here again. Buyer beware.

First of all, I was put off by the fact that the representative I was dealing with, Chris, did not wear a mask inside or out side of his office. I think you should require face masks if the person is dealing with the public during these trying times. The basic service of an inspection and oil change was just fine, no complaints. But the price you charge for additional work was twice what reputable auto service businesses charge in Gainesville. I checked. I had to refuse the additional services because they were too expensive. I take care of my truck but I cant afford your work.

I have a reasonable background in electronics, but could not figure out where my truck windows were intermittent. I knew the motors were good and there was an upstream black box issue. A local repairman suggested going to the dealership.I made an appointment and paid for diagnostics- The verdict, two bad window motors and a problem in the body control module (BCM). $1500 to replace the motors and resolder the BCM issue.I had checked both motors and knew they were good. The switches did not have power to them. It was an upstream intermittent issue, maybe a bad BCM, but I sensed a scam so I declined service. To have both window motors to quit simultaneously would be too coincidental.I declined service, and paid the diagnostic fee, with parts and tax, $95.Since, i have identified the source of the intermittent current. The connection was restored and BOTH windows work flawlessly. $95 for a misdiagnosis, and thank goodness that I know something about these things or I would have just went along.The actual cost of the repair- about 15 cents for a connector and a bit of solder.The message-- they are either lying or lazy. They either misdiagnose to fool the consumer or dont really know what is wrong, so replace everything. I cant judge their intent.$95 later I learned to look harder myself before trusting the dealer.
This Nissan dealership has very poor customer service.
I recently had a bad experience with the service department. Im a disabled veteran and had to catch an uber to the dealership in order to get a response on the status of my electrical problem. I was later called by the service manager who promised this was an aberration, they had put in a new battery and that I would get a discount on my next service. Two weeks later (Feb 15th) the vehicle died again. Battery again. My wife took it to the dealer, who replaced the battery again and then convinced her that brake fluid and CVS transmission fluid flush was needed. Total cost: $525.99. I suspect there was a note in my file, but it was not to give me a discount. Ive purchased my last two vehicles from Nissan of Gainesville (Xterra in 2000, Juke in 2012) but will not return again with that kind of service.
I went to fix the leaking issue with my car (Infiniti G37 Coupe, water appears on the passenger side floor during a rain) at this dealership. After several trips, I still don’t know where it leaks and this time, I got the worst experience: I believe they took parts (like the two air vents) off and put them back, and during the process, they cracked the dashboard leather. Unfortunately, they don’t admit it because I don’t have a picture to show it was good before, and my car is not new since it is common to see these cracks as material ages. Here is what happened:I dropped off my car with David on Wednesday at around 5:00 pm and received his call on Thursday at around 1:30 pm. I was told they still couldn’t locate the leaking source and they will need to take more parts off, which will take 5 hours of labor at $600, to possibly identify the leak. I declined the service as it was too expensive, and then I was told not to come and wait for the call because my car was not ready to pick up. I did not hear from him, so I went directly to the dealership at 5:30 pm. My car was parked outside, David was standing close to it and he said he was just about to call me. On Friday, I noticed that there are several cracks along the edges of several dashboard parts, these parts I suspect that they took off, such as two air vents (please referring to figures). Two boards close to the legs were not able to push back (now I know the glue was gone).I talked to David on Saturday and I was told that the technician did not do anything other than checked under the carpet floor. I asked why it took him four hours to get my car ready and the response was “oh he is slow”. Both David and the manager (very polite person I give full credit) told me these cracks were caused by moisture or material aging itself and the two pieces that couldn’t go back to the original state was because of the glue went bad, once again, due to moisture. They argued that they won’t do anything without my permission; however, it’s funny that they charged me for service I did not sign during my previous trip. BTW, it was to identify the leaking as well and I was told to change the battery. I did replace my battery, and the car still leaks.I took good care of my car, now I blame myself for not taking pictures before sending my car to this dealership. I agree with the dealership that material becomes brittle with oxidative aging; however, I cant agree that these cracks, without any external force, could have occurred simultaneously, just along these parts that I suspect they took off and put back. In the end, we all know what has happened and there is nothing I can do or I would do without a picture, except showing people what a great lesson I just had. It is so disappointing that I can no longer trust this dealership.

Not apologetic for mistake or wasting my morning. service tech says I dont know what to tell you complain to service manager. Inconsiderate!
We bought a car from this dealership and After a month we were driving a car from this dealership with a title that had a lein on the car. Went back numerous times to get items fixed on the car and had to fight them to do what they said they would do2 times our salesman asked us to call our bank to see why the money was held up, then I called the bank and found out that after a month there was still a lein on the car. Now I was mad and told them that I would not purchase the car. I told then I wanted a release from the car sent to my bank so that I could buy another car. My family and I have been bringing our vehicles for repair to Jerry Fico at Gainesville Nissan for years now. In that time, Jerry has made me have faith in dealership repair departments again. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to get things done right, and very timely I might add. He has worked with my extended warranty and had many things covered with ease. Jerrys customer service is impeccable. He absolutely knows how to treat his clients and I can honestly say if it werent for him, I would have found a local repair shop (because I believe in supporting local businesses). However, because of his friendly and professional attitude, and the fact that I can drop off my car, have the Nissan courtesy shuttle bring me to and from the front door at work it just cant get any better! I tell everyone I can to go see Jerry because I KNOW they will walk away completely satisfied. Thank you, Jerry, for making having my car repaired effortless and painless! I hope you never leave Gainesville Nissan because I will too! :)
When I finally got ahold of someone I can certainly say that I felt very listened to. Steve was excellent and I so appreciate everything that he did. He honestly made me feel like my issue was important and made my experience great after a bad one.

Extremely easy buying experience, after years of excellent service from the Gainesville Nissan Service department. I was honestly dreading the process of buying a new car, but at Gainesville Nissan I was treated with respect, showed many options, and felt un-pressured from start to finish. The sales staff were friendly and engaging and the finance department was FAST and efficient!! This experience was a refreshing change from the last time I bought a new car at a different dealership. This time, I felt happy that I was able to support my local dealership that has always treated me well. Thanks everyone! :)

Nissan Armada battery draining problem. After analyzing the situation and even car repair was a Nissan factory software issue and discussing case with manager charges where deferred. Understanding problem wasn’t cause by client(me) neither extended warranty will pay due wasn’t a warranty related issue.Thanks Gainesville Nissan and TJ for always been comprehensive with us.
