It’s hard to find a car shop that not only doesn’t take advantage of you, but also delivers excellent customer service. They were super welcoming, provided a detailed car inspection, didn’t push me to do anything but simply gave suggestions, and were very prompt with response times. I could rely on them to email/text/call whenever I reached out or was awaiting feedback. Highly recommend!

This is my first time visiting this location but it won’t be my last. The staff is honest, thorough and hard working. I sat and watched as the interacted with their staff and customers. I was impressed. The waiting area is also very nice.

Unfortunately, I had a few bad experiences with previous auto shops, but let me tell you the Auto ER came to the rescue. John, GM and Scott, Tech were so welcoming. John is very nice and professional. Scott provided excellent service, he took his time to explain all the issues. My vehicle doesn’t sound like a duck quack anymore, thanks to the guys at Auto ER. I would recommend this shop to anyone needing work done. If you are thinking about it but because you don’t want to get taken advantage of I’ll give them a chance. I move to Gainesville and don’t have a mechanic I googled for a tire shop and they came up so I decided to give them a try and guess what I am so happy I did. They worked on my truck changed 4 tires oil change and a belt price was right and the work done was Quality on time and very fair. I would recommend the shop to anybody just give them a try and you will be happy.

All I have to say is thank god for Auto ER and John, the GM. We were on a road trip from Miami to Minnesota, when our car started smoking. We came to Auto ER because it was the closest mechanic, and we are so glad we did! John and his team got right to work, jumped through hoops to get the part we needed to fix the Transfer Case, stayed late to do the install, and got us back on the road. A++ customer service! The issue was due to another mechanics mistake. The team was very transparent, knowledgeable, and showed us exactly what was wrong to help us understand the issue so we can get some money back from our Miami dealership (who did the shoddy work). 10/10 would 100% recommend Auto ER. Thank you to the Auto ER Team! I wish we could find a place like this in Miami!

I was driving between Pensacola and Gainesville when my check engine light came on in Tallahassee. As soon as I drove off of I-75, I found the nearest auto center which was Auto ER. They were welcoming, professional, and saw to my car right away despite closing soon. After running diagnostics, they determined that the engine light was an error and that everything looked good to go. No charge! They assured me they could take a look at it while I’m here for the weekend in case it came back on. I really appreciate their business and their honesty. Thank you for making an already stressful trip less stressful!

John was very professional and accommodating. He managed to get everything taken care of in one afternoon before an out of town trip on short notice, which is already great. He then arranged for me to be driven back to work after I dropped my car off, and when I later had a migraine and had to take medicine that makes it hard for me to drive, he not only had me picked up from work by the Auto ER shuttle, but also had my significant other picked up from work so I wouldn’t have to drive myself home on dizzying medication. Bravo!

Oh my goodness!! We had a blowout on 75. Although it was closing time they stayed open after they got a call from the tire shop we went to first who didnt have our tire. Gave the kids drinks as we waited. They were so nice and made sure everything was all safe to get back in the road!! Such a blessing!!

They will rip you off. Went there with rough running truck. They gave me a $2500 estimate. They said several different things needed fixing. They even said I needed new shocks What a joke. Got it fixed at another shop for 400 bucks!

I had an emergency while traveling. Lisa and the guys took good care of me, got the work done for a fair price. I’m back on the road and I’m thankful that I was able to find these folks when I was I need of help while away from home.

John went above and beyond replacing the tire on our daughter’s car. When she was on her way out of town for a job interview we noticed her FR tire bulging at the seam. Time was of the essence. John located her specific tire and even picked it up. In less than an hour she was on the road to make her interview. We were travelling from north gerogia to florida when the car started running bad. We had two small children with us and had no clue of the area or good mechanics. Sals auto er was outstanding. They were amazing! They were able to accommodate the needs I had for the car and shuttled me to work when I dropped off and picked me up when the car was ready. The customer service was outstanding and I couldnt appreciate them more! Hopefully I dont have more car damage, but if I do I would use them again for sure!

Had my 1st contact with Sal’s AutoER, today, when I took my car in for an oil change. What a pleasurable experience, starting with Lisa, who checked me in, to the immaculate waiting area (with free beverages & snacks!), to the quick turn-around time. I’ve never taken my car into other places for oil changes, when I wasn’t given a huge list of issues they wanted to work on! Lisa pointed out some things that, as part of routine maintenance, would be needed in the future, but they didn’t try to oversell my on any repairs!

One of my tires almost separated on I-75. This place is right off the interstate. Lisa, the store manager, is super friendly and knowledgeable. The guys got the car on the lift with no wait and she showed us the issue. They had the tires in stock and got us back on the road in no time. Also the waiting room is clean and comfortable with complimentary snacks and drinks.

I trust Sals Auto ER for all my automotive repairs. Lisa (the manager) is tremendously knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. I had multiple problems with my 2004 Subaru Outback, and she helped me prioritize the most pressing issues to fit my budget, and let me know which issues I should attend to next. Our van had a major breakdown while we were traveling. Very thankful that this place was close. Lisa the Manager and Mike the mechanic were great. Very accommodating to us and our 3 kids. We basically made the waiting room our living room for a few hours. Never fun to breakdown but this place made the best of it. I felt good about getting repairs done here. Several customers that came and went said they have been bringing their cars for years. I would definitely recommend Auto ER.

They always take the time to explain everything carefully so that I know whats wrong and the correct way to fix it. When I took my truck there, they explained how they would proceed, then called me when they said they would and gave me a great explanation of the issues and costs. It has been necessary to take my old Volvo in for multiple repairs this year, suspension, brakes, brake fluid, oil changes and tires. Accurate quotes and prompt service. This will be my go to mechanics shop in Gainesville for a few great reasons. They are honest about any issues that they come across in the car & seem to really care about the quality of their work in your car, which is so important to me having only the 1 car right now. They get the work completed quickly & their waiting area is very comfortable. The th graciously offer snack & soda while we wait, which I really appreciated since I usually have my kids with me. They even referred me to someone else to get my locks fixed, instead of claiming the job for themselves. I recently went there to get some air in my tires & Lisa came out from behind her desk to do it herself, since the mechanics were busy, she then noted that both of my back tires were unsafe with the ware that was on them. She immediately found a time that day to get new ones on right away & seemed to have true concern about the safety of myself & family. While they were changing the tires, she came & showed my where the wire was showing through, which reassured me that they needed to changed desperately. I would definitely recommend them for you future car repairs.

Got my car fixed here after a really bad car crash. The man working on my car was so kind and thoughtful and really made the awful situation so much better. My car was done promptly and I was consulted at every step, so no unpleasant surprises. My car looked as good as new when it was done.

Great mechanics and customer service. I was traveling out of town from Atlanta to Tampa for business and my car began to leak what I thought was oil and I got off the exit and my wife located this shop via google. These guys really took care of me. What I thought was an oil leak turned out to be an issue with my transmission fluid needing to be changed. They could have really hit me over the head and charged me for services I didnt need, instead they checked my car for transmission leaks and refilled my car with the proper fluids and provided me with extra fluids to get me back on the road. These guys saved me hundreds of dollars and saved my business trip. You Rock!!!

Wife has been going here for a while for oil changes, prices were reasonable and service was fast. Wife stopped by there to have them check out a noise that I didnt have time to check out. Little did she know that they were going to charge her $65 to do this ( a discount from the normal $80) and write her an estimate where the parts were double the price listed at Napa. Seems like they were trying to take advantage of a lady. Thanks but no thanks. We are done using their services and I will make sure and tell everyone I know not to use them as well.

New to the area and have been here twice. Both times I was given amazing and prompt service. The first time was for a basic oil change and they gave me a nice diagnostic checkover and, instead of saying something was wrong (I had one done at my previous mechanic not too long before moving here and it my vehicle checked out perfect, so I wanted to see what Auto ER would say), they were very honest saying everything looked great too.On my second visit, it was for an emergency rattle coming from under my vehicle. They were nice enough to bring it in immediately and checked it out. They were unable to fix the rattle, but recommended me to a muffler shop to get it checked out and didnt charge me for their time and work.Very honest, lots of integrity, very professional, very friendly. I will definitely be returning!

We have been using Sals for 5-6 years and have never been disappointed. We feel that they are always honest and do what they say they are going to do. On a couple of occasions, we have taken one of our vehicles to somewhere else for an oil change or new tires and have been told we need certain things to be done. Before committing to the work, we have gone to Sals for a second opinion and have been told the work was not necessary.

Took my daughters car in on Feb 23rd because her A/C went out. Had to pay $56 for diagnosis. The head mechanic couldnt even diagnose anything specific so he said I needed an evaporator, condensor and all new lines and sent me a bill for over $2400. Complete waste of money. Bought a condenosr for $101 on the internet and installed in 2 hours. They would have charged me $2400, and STILL probably would only replaced the one item. Tried to bilk a poor college student....Avoid these people.
