The staff is friendly and professional, and I was extremely impressed by their knowledge of the vehicles they sell…they knew every feature of every car in that showroom, and they did a great job articulating that knowledge. I’ve always gone to this BMW for service but this will be the last time for a while…. I was first told it would cost me $160+ to just run a diagnostic on my car. I don’t think I’ve ever had to pay that but fine, I needed to know what was the problem. Then as I’m being charged I was told that my air filter needed to be changed. Mind you, I was just there two days ago and bought an air filter and had someone else replace it instead of being charged a ridiculous price. Don’t you think this would have been on my account? In addition, I was told my oil needed to be change even though I had miles left because “it’s around that time of year.” What? This was an obvious scam! Once I was finally told what my problem was (the door lock was broken) the estimate was over $800! WHAT?!The icing on the cake was I got my car appraised out of curiosity, (my car has less than 40,000 miles from 2013) and was told my car is only worth $8,000. They wanted me to pay for 1/8 of the car for 1 minor repair? I left feeling so cheated on and will be taking my car to be fixed for half the price at another place.
Did not honor advertised service price and charged me an extra $17 for an oil change calling it “shop supplies,” and “environmental fee.” The final bill showed charges and credits and adjustments that just didn’t make sense. Nothing added up. Again, this was for an oil change. Speaking of deception and non-transparency, they didn’t even show what kind of oil they used on my bill. I had to write it on and still not really sure if the service manager knew what they used. He said it was BMW oil, which was probably a Shell product. It took 2 hours for the oil change and I made an early morning appt. to avoid this. They also took a video of a mechanic walking around my car explaining that my tires and brakes were in fine shape. I didn’t ask for that. Finally, the waiting room was like I was waiting in a funeral parlor. Everyone who worked there seemed to hate their job. Stay away from this place!!!
I was very satisfied with the service I received at BMW Gainesville. There was no waiting, my car was in and out within the estimated time period, and the service consultant provided a detailed description of the process. I will definitely return to this team the next time my car needs to be serviced.
We originally came in for service, Shad Buchanon, excellent to work with, Shad got things done and gave us a great deal.While we were waiting looked at a Tundra and ended up buying a newer truck.We had a great experience with Mike Barton in Sales. He did a great job and worked very hard to make the sale happen. I really wanted a good deal and he did his job and got us what we wanted. Great guy to work with the kind of sales person I like work with. Luis Manuel Rios helped us in finance and was great to work with as well.

Had a routine service there and had a recall fix. The service department was great. Process was smooth and advisor was helpful. During the pandemic situation, extra cleaning and measures like warring masks were in place. Got a great X5 loaner. Worth a two hour drive to get there. Will return again next time for service and may give them a try next time when I need another car. Would recommend!
The service of our vehicle was excellent as usual. The problem we had was actually getting the service appointment and arranging for the loaner car. That took multiple phone calls, long wait times, and being promised a call back “in five minutes” that never happened… glad the actual service part of things went well to make up for the hassle!!
One of the best car shopping experiences I have had; period...So I came to the party late, looking for a M2 Competition with DCT and after calling multiple dealers in the US (all of which showed M2Cs in stock...LOL no, not really; they were inbound and spoken for) I was able to track down this M2C which was only available because the buyer backed out...The entire Gainesville Team was involved in making this a great experience...from sales (Matt), online support (Kathryn) finance (Manuel), all first class but special thanks to Christine (Sales Manager)...Christine could have easily turned this into a bidding war as multiple people called about the M2C after she and I agreed upon a price...she is a person of her word in an industry that is not always known for high standards..Christine breaks the mold. I will go out of my way to do business with these folks again!

Avoid this dealership and its deceptive business practices! I communicated via email with Manny Rios, Pre-Owned Manager, about a CPO X5 and trading in my X5. He communicated a net walkout price at 7:55p on 7/29/21. I replied that I needed to discuss the deal and would reply first thing the next morning, which I did. I replied with an offer that included a 2% price reduction, i.e. not irrational. Manny replied at 10:44a that he needed to confirm the work being done to the car to see if they could accept the offer, but that we were ‘close’. He said he would reply shortly. At 3:21p I received an email stating that they were rescinding their offer, due to the cost of shop services. The explanation given was that a rim was bent and brakes were replaced, which would have already been known, given all pictures provided the prior day were of the car without any rims on it. I was then contacted by a different person and told that none of that was true, but that they believed an excess wear and tear policy would cover new tires and it didn’t. They then increased the price from THEIR offer by $2k by naming full retail cost of things like an oil change, which is obviously not the dealer’s cost. Regardless, due to a supposed error of its employee, they refused to honor their prior price. While they apologized that they shouldn’t have negotiated without knowing all information, that’s not my problem as a consumer and I have never encountered anything like this from a supposed ‘luxury’ dealer. I ended up eating the cost of an airline ticket and hotel. Sometimes it’s better to reduce your profit margin and do the right thing, as opposed to claiming you legally have the ability to do so.
Service was completed on time, car was returned clean and they found no additional work that they could sell us.

I tried to get a quote online. I emailed as soon as I saw the car become available on Autotrader. I’m an out of state buyer so I asked for them to give me a quote with shipping. I gave them all my info so I could get an accurate quote. I followed up a couple hours later that day when they hadn’t responded. Still no response. They didn’t respond until I replied to an automated( I believe)email from the sales manager asking about my experience. I said I still hadn’t received a quote. A little bit later the sales person said they were waiting on a “trucking company that will be able to travel to my state”. I find it hard to believe it takes that long to get a shipping quote. Everyone else I email has it in 5 minutes. Later that day it was sold. I think they sold it locally and didn’t want to go through the hassle of shipping it to me. I get that. Just be upfront. I feel like they weren’t upfront with me and wasted my time. I won’t waste my time with them again.

Very disappointed in the postings of the vehicle I bought. Many different listings with different pricing for the dealership for the same vehicle. I do not trust the integrity of this dealership. I found the next day on blue book the same vehicle posted by this dealership for less than what I paid and the dealership would not honor their posted price. The manager on duty had the balls to lie to me and tell me that they had nothing to do with the posting. Yet, funny, the posting was removed after I confronted him.

I was originally planning on getting a 2020 Lexus GX since I was interested in getting a SUV. My family recommended me to lease a BMW X5 instead. Ever since I leased it, the check engine is constantly on and every time we went to the dealership, they were more concerned with saving money than fixing the issue-- even though they knew what the problem was. They would just turn off the check engine light and send me home. I was constantly just going back and forth. I couldnt even travel long distances without worrying getting stranded in middle of the highway. The reason I leased this in the first place was to feel safe during my travels. The worst of it all was that my service advisor was Mr. John Busby, who is an impolite, dishonest, and a rude man and he has had complaints before as well. He made me go back and forth for months, telling me that fixing the issue is costly, even though my car has a warranty. This just shows that they do not care about their customers. I do not recommend anyone to buy an X5, and please try to avoid Mr. John as your service advisor.

The car buying process is never fun. It can be long and tortuous while you try and work out the deal that works for you. However, BMW of Gainesville was really pleasant to work with. I drove 4 hours to buy a used truck from them. I already had pre approved credit through my credit union but they insisted they could match or beat it. 6 hours later I was still fighting to get the sales contract right because they kept playing with the numbers and finance rate. Frustrated, confused, tired, and hungry I gave in and signed the papers because I still had a 4 hour ride home. The next day while trying to switch my insurance I realize I dont even have a registration for the truck or any other physical paperwork in the event I got pulled over so I could prove I bought the truck. I only received a flash drive with said documents. I contacted the general manager today and he just made it out like it was my fault.

Very easy to deal with on buying my 2019 Mini Cooper Countryman. Bonito was my salesman, he was very thorough. Dan in finance was good and a Mini enthusiast also. The only complaint I have is that I used my credit card for my down payment and they charged me $60 service charge that they didn’t tell me about.

Our car was towed in by AAA and they were very nice, I was told by BMW of Gainesville that it was the battery on 03/25 that it was the battery, I asked to fix it at a REDICULIOUS price. I was in agreement to the price, THEN I was told about another sensor, needless to say I have text and called the person that was assigned to me and my car that does not answered my many texts and here it is 04/03 and they are closed so they dont care about you or your life.... I can show the texted and emails that I have had no responce...... ThIs car is a large part of our lives because we work hard to have it but obviously it is not a concern to the one assigned to us or BMW as a whole.......

I wanted to share my frustration and unsatisfactory experience that I had at the BMW of Gainesville. I hope you can learn from my experience. I took a used BMW SUV that I was purchasing for a full inspection, due to a rattling noise coming from the engine. I emphasized to Mr. John Busby (service advisor) that I wanted to ensure the car is in optimal condition for purchasing since I had the opportunity to return the car, if I was not satisfied with its condition.The report came back good, with minor issues that I agreed to fix. However, the engine noise was ignored, I re-asked about the engine noise to Mr. Busby, and he stated that the engine of this particular SUV model are normally noisy and that the noise will disappear when the car has been driven for a while.Trusting the expertise of the service provided by the BMW of Gainesville and Mr. Busby, I decided to finalize the purchase of this SUV. The car was due back to the service center for the installation of the passenger sensor ordered and to re-check the noise in the motor because it never disappeared like it was explained to me. This time they paid attention to the noisy engine and they surprised me with the news that my recently purchased car needs a new engine. Crazy right? If they had checked the engine noise during the first inspection, I would not be writing this review.Since pictures worth more than thousand words, I am posting pictures of my bills.I asked to the BMW of Gainesville to return my car, that I will take my business somewhere else, but they still have my car. I would post another review with the resolution to this matter.
As an out of state buyer, I utilize the internet extensivley in researching and purchasing. When I found one of their vehicles on-line, it caught my attention based on the vehicle age, mileage, and price. I contacted the dealership and was told the price was $3000 more than listed on line. My first gut response was, and this is why people dont like buying used cars. Not a positive experience for me unfortunately.
Ive taken my car in for service many times and the environment is extremely customer oriented and the overall experience is great. The one thing that brings me back continuously is JD in the service department. He is professional, courteous, HONEST and makes the thought of spending money on your car much easier. From the General Manager through the entire staff to the person who makes the coffee - nothing but the best in every regard. Throughout many vehicle negotiations, purchases, and service appointments I have literally NEVER had a single complaint nor noted any area that needed improvement. This is a great team, run by an experienced, knowledgeable GM, who go out of their way to satisfy the customer. If you are looking to buy, trade or just window shop in the candy store, I would highly recommend you give Gainesville BMW a visit. Can’t say enough great things about BMW of Gainesville. We had our eyes on a used van they had recently listed and we were able to get a price lined up quickly and made the trek with our kids. When we arrived Michael the sales manager and Charles the sales associate had it cleaned up beautifully with a surprise for each of kids waiting for them since we had a long ride back home. Charles was a great sales associate taking care of all the details before we even arrived and even sent us a personalized video of the van. They entertained our kids and gave them snacks and drinks while we peacefully completed all the paperwork and details. I just bought my first BMW! I had hands down the best car shopping experience ever with Kenneth Howard at Gainesville BMW. I was in the market for a certified used car, never thinking I would buy a BMW. After test driving one at another dealership, I loved the smooth ride and decided to give the BMW dealership a try. I live in the Orlando area and worked my deal over the phone, trading two vehicles, and financing. I live about 100 miles away from BMW of Gainesville, but they had a certified used 4 Series in their inventory that was exactly what I was looking for. Buying a car long distance is not easy, but I figured wed give it a try. Turns out, it was a great experience! Working out a deal with Christine Garcia (Internet Sales Manager) was absolute perfection. No pressure, hassles, or haggling. She was professional, super-friendly, and able to help me get the price and terms I needed. Made the trip to Gainesville a few days later, and it was worth every mile. The car was an anniversary gift for my wife, and the Gainesville BMW staff really rolled out their red carpet. Treated my wife and I as if we were family. Kenneth Howard and Tim Bundrick made us feel like family. Weve done car deals where theres been hand shakes and smiles, but buying from BMW of Gainesville was full of hugs, high fives, and so much fun! Loved it! We had the BEST buying experience ever! Ken was our salesman. There was ZERO pressure from him, he didn’t rush us in making a decision, let us drive different cars we were interested in, and so much more. He truly made our experience the best ever! The GM Scott was also super helpful and helped us locate a vehicle we thought we really wanted. He went over and beyond. We can’t leave out Dave in the service department as he is the reason we started coming to BMW of Gainesville. Also Christine the online sales manager was extremely helpful! Overall we had a great buying experience and look forward to our next purchase in a few years!
From the time that I took a walk through the parking lot up to the moment that I drove my car off was an amazing experience! I didn’t go there looking to purchase anything that day, and not once did I ever feel pressured to buy. I was given the freedom to look around the lot without anyone hounding me to make a decision. Yet, when I went inside and met my salesman Bonito; the professionalism, the responsiveness, and the knowledge of BMWs that he possessed made me want to become a BMW owner! I wasnt made to feel as if I couldnt afford anything there; I was welcomed into the dealership with smiles and friendly faces, then helped to find the perfect vehicle for me. I would recommend Bonito every day of the week! He is fantastic and is a master of his position! BMW is now apart of my family and after my experience there, I don’t want to go anywhere else to purchase a vehicle. They all did everything they could do to help me, despite whats going on with the COVID-19 pandemic, and that truly touched my heart!
